Sanga & Mahila are genuine players of spin bowling. Dhoni need to continue with Pacers here.

After the next wicket falls, MSD should set the field like a PP. Get the fielders in, they have been bowling well. Try it 3-4 balls and test the newbie. Do not make the newbie score singles.

A discordant note. Was watching National TV.The commentators were very harsh on SS.One moron was blaming SS for the edge through slips. In this age,i felt it was extraordinary that they had a bias because SS was from Kerala.Very difficult for an armchair jingo to digest such Hindi/English commentators when I thought such things had become history. In an elite forum like BRF,the biases are glaring and rare but in the larger world,India has some way to go.

SS has not bowled badly so far IMVHO.Could have been better.

svenkat: How do you know that there was a bias because SS was from Kerala? Did you give it a thought that Pranthan was leaking runs unlike the others? Or that the second four went between his legs and he did not even bend down to try and stop it????

I think it speaks more about your thinking and mindset than anything else.

You need to to sutt-yup that tripe  , its not like they are picking out Sreesanth because he is from Kerala. Its because he is bowling badly compared to rest of the guys. Please dont make it a regional affair just like the Pakis who love to dig out the regional discord in India..

105 / 2 at half way mark its less then what they would have want and very credible of our bowlers and fielders to keep it just around 4 an over in smallish ground with a pitch thats playing true.

svenkat,

i fail to understand the Keralites obssession with Sree. This man is mentally fragile not fit for international level.

There was a time when RP Singh was doing badly, I never saw any UPwalla coming out and ranting regional biase. can you guys remove your Kerala vectims onlee lense for a moment and support INDIANS based on merit.

PS: The shot which you mentioned went for 4 was not an edge but deliberately played by batsman.

If India is in danger during the game chant the mantram

these two have taken the game away from India. even 250 will be very hard to chase given the pressure of final and their a class bowling unit and they will make 280+ at the minimum ! :((
we have squandered away the decent start by the bowlers, just like 1996. :((
One big relief is that Mathews is not around, so late push is difficult for SL.
have you ever seen how easily that NLTC perera takes our bowlers to the cleaners ?

ok guys, enough of this kerala UP business, this is the world cup, not ranji trophy.

couple of tight overs will force them to improvise

SS send in 2 no balls had been hit for 6 fours compare it with others and you will start eating your own crow
Nehra came in after a break and choked out the life out of Poaks in SF so after a break won't do

meanwhile Gawd shows "abhi tu mai jawan ho"
