^^ Errr, when Mullah O is sitting in a Paki ISI safehouse, how tough can it be for Pak to get to Mullah O first(compared to Amir-khans who have to trace him first)? :-? :-?

Doesn't it take a phone call to the ISI minders watching Mullah O to bump him off? Am i missing something here?

Thats why I said it might be a stall tactic. ISI is probably telling US we'll deal with him and get him. So ISI launched an operation day before yesterday. Obviously they need to show that they actually looked for him and not caught him by the rag. ISI is probably preparing for the fall out before the order is given to catch him. Perhaps his ISI handlers are coaching Mullah O on what to tell the amrikhans.

The message that unkil is drilling the assault to ISI means that ISI time is running out, either act or we will. Just goes to show that unkil knows Paki perfidy, they still want the relationship to continue. While we all celebrate that Pak is in deep trouble in unkilstan, while any pressure on TSP is welcome, lets not celebrate too much because US still wants pak on its side.

The ISI need to prepare things before they bring him in. ISI needs to install a new leader in the shura - speak to talebs and ask them not to turn their weapons on TSPA. Complicated for ISI. Lights will not switch off for a few nights in GHQ.

Regarding Mullah Omar, posting this news dated January 18th this year.
Taliban leader Mullah Omar 'has had a heart attack'
Mullah Omar, the one-eyed leader of the Taliban has been operated on in Pakistan in order to save his life after a heart attack, according to reports.
Omar had a heart attack on January 7 and was treated for several days in a hospital in Karachi, according to the report by a company run by former CIA and military officers and carried online by the Washington Post.

A doctor at the hospital, which was not identified, said he saw Omar struggling to recover from an operation to put a stent – an artificial tube – in his heart.

He is now said to be at a safe-house run by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency, in Karachi.
The report came from the Eclipse Group, which has run intelligence-gathering operations for the US government in Afghanistan.

The report said Omar was rushed to hospital by the ISI where he was given heparin, an anticoagulant, and operated on.

"While I was not personally in the operating theatre," the doctor said, "my evaluation based on what I have heard and seeing the patient in the hospital is that Mullah Omar had a cardiac catheter complication resulting in either bleeding or a small cerebral vascular incident, or both."

The doctor added: "After the operation, there seemed to be some brain damage with Mullah Omar having slurred speech."
So if Mullah Omar is incapacitated, the ISI can conveniently give him up, no problem.

US broke deal with Osama hit
By Syed Saleem Shahzad

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's military and intelligence community was fully aware of and lent assistance to the United States mission to get a high-value target in Abbottabad on May 2. What it did not know was that it was Osama bin Laden who was in the crosshairs of US Special Forces, and what angered the top brass even more was that Washington - in clear breach of an understanding - claimed sole ownership of the operation.

Over the years since Pakistan joined the US in the "war on terror" following the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 to oust the Taliban, the US has conducted numerous covert operations - apart from unleashing the missiles of unmanned Predator drones on militant targets - deep inside Pakistan.

For instance, the Los Angeles Times reported on July 27, 2008, "On occasions, US Special Forces teams have been sent into Pakistan. In 2006, one of the nation's most elite units, Seal Team 6, raided a suspected al-Qaeda compound at Damadola [in the Bajaur Agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas]."

Under this arrangement, the US would conduct raids against high-value targets and Pakistan would provide the necessary support, but Pakistan, for political reasons so that nobody would question that its sovereignty had been compromised, would claim responsibility for the raids.

Following the assassination of Bin Laden, though, within a few hours US President Barack Obama in an address to the American nation said that US Navy Seals had single-handedly conducted the operation.

The incident over Raymond Davis, a contractor with the Central Intelligence Agency, strained the understanding between Pakistan and the US over covert operations.

Davis killed two armed men in Lahore in January and although the US said he was protected by diplomatic immunity, he was jailed and charged with murder. He was released in March after the families of the two killed men were paid US$2.4 million in blood money. Judges acquitted him on all charges and Davis immediately departed Pakistan.

Pakistan then demanded a fresh agreement with the US that would better serve its strategic gains; it is already a major recipient of US aid and arms sales - approximately US$20 billion over the past decade. The Americans in turn wanted the continued right to undertake strikes, but specifically against high-value targets such as Taliban leader Mullah Omar, Bin Laden, his deputy Dr Ayman al-Zawahiri and a leading figure in the Taliban resistance, Sirajuddin Haqqani.

The US sent four warning letters to the Pakistan army through diplomatic channels in which it expressed its reservations on Pakistan's cooperation in finding high-value sanctuaries. Pakistan responded by asking for better economic deals and a greater role in the Afghan end game.

The demands on both sides were such that international players were called in to mediate. These included top Saudi authorities and Prince Karim Aga Khan, the spiritual leader of the Shi'ite Ismaili community. They played a pivotal role in fostering a new strategic agreement of which the Abbottabad operation was a part. That is, Pakistan was on board but was kept in the dark over the target on the explicit understanding that it would take ownership.

The Saudis included ex-ambassador to Washington, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, who had been sidelined for some years through illness and palace intrigue. He had helped resolve the Davis case and set the parameters for joint surgical strikes inside Pakistan against defiant al-Qaeda and Taliban leaders to pave the way for an end game in Afghanistan.

In the first week of April, the White House released a terror report charging Pakistan with being hand-in-glove with militants. Soon after, the director general of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Lieutenant General Ahmad Shuja Pasha, went to the US for a very short visit that according to the Associated Press centered on "intelligence cooperation". Security sources confirmed to Asia Times Online that the new security arrangement was high on the agenda.

Pasha, instead of returning directly to Pakistan, stopped over in Paris where he met the Aga Khan, and then proceeded to Turkey for talks with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, who was in the country on an official visit, to appraise him of the new agreement.

In the last week of April, the US's top man in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, met with Pakistan Army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kiani and informed him of the US Navy Seals operation to catch a high-value target. The deal was done.

Pakistan was therefore hugely stunned and embarrassed when Obama made his earth-shattering announcement taking all the credit for Osama's death.

In an address to parliament on Monday, Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said that unilateral actions such as the US's killing of Bin Laden ran the risk of serious consequences, but he reiterated his earlier stance that the US Special Forces had reached the compound of Bin Laden in Abbottabad with the help of the ISI.

But White House Press Secretary Jay Carney made it clear that even if Pakistan asked for one, it would not receive an apology from the United States. "We obviously take the statements and concerns of the Pakistani government seriously, but we also do not apologize for the action that we took," Carney said.

Despite this setback, Asia Times Online contacts say the spat does not mean the end of operations - they will go on as agreed, with all credit taken by Pakistan.

"This relationship is too important to walk away from," Carney said this week.

Osama bin Laden mission agreed in secret 10 years ago by US and Pakistan

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/ma ... istan-deal
"There was an agreement between Bush and Musharraf that if we knew where Osama was, we were going to come and get him," said a former senior US official with knowledge of counterterrorism operations. "The Pakistanis would put up a hue and cry, but they wouldn't stop us."
The former US official said that impetus for the co-operation, much like the Bin Laden deal, was driven by the US. "It didn't come from Musharraf's desire. On the Predators, we made it very clear to them that if they weren't going to prosecute these targets, we were, and there was nothing they could do to stop us taking unilateral action.

Preemptive action, so that no body back in Papistan cannot point a finger on Musharraf for being compromising on America 10 years ago, rather than fighting. If not how can he rant against US on subjects like sovirginity, apologizing, etc while sitting in UK (bankrolled both by US and UK). Musharraf is showing the best forms of Taqiya.

Where is the proof of this fantastical tale? I have a hard time believing this.

By the way, I saw the PBS: Frontline episode "Kill/Capture" Normally I applaud the Frontline producers for their in-depth reporting and insight and their way of reporting allows me to get a fuller picture. I did get an in-depth picture into Afghanistan but I felt strongly that they were being very one sided about it. They only focused on the negative aspects of the new strategy employed by Petraues and US military. I could not help but feel that the Frontline producers did a disservice for being so blatantly biased against the military.

Very right Surinderji, the pakjabi's will keep on barking like a pagal kutta from afar but when you run towards them and just lift your leg to pretend to kick them them will cower and run away all the while scheming how to bite the unsuspecting bystander or to get back at the person who tried to kick them...

Unless the ISI decide he has reached his usefulness and do a midnight "pushback" ( like BD kept pushing ULFA guys into India for BSF to capture) into FATA/Waziristan where the Amir-khans can pick him up...

Even this deal might be spoiled if Amir-khan decide to try their luck a 2nd time and actually snaffle him in Quetta before ISI can take him out of there.

IMHO, completely matches with what many in BRF had predicted: the Amir-khans took off with knowledge of the Pakis( claiming a different mission) but made a abrupt pit-stop at Abbotabad which completely stunned the Pakis and they were caught wrong footed to even react.

You will see.. if it is from Maasa, there has to some signature capture tracking available, either gps enabled or some discrete signal that can be snooped.

who cares if it is inside chinese border.. the first sign of crossing border is enough violation, to fire at will.

when the pakis have already agreed for getting raped, all signed documents, and especially when this is all about 911, the whole world is behind maasa on the obl trail.

it only takes seconds.

ISI Confirms Taliban Leader in Pakistan
29

Wednesday, 11 May 2011 21:45 Written by TOLOnews.com

Pakistan's military intelligence organisation has confirmed that the leader of the Taliban group is hiding in the west of Pakistan's Quetta city, reports say.

A senior Pakistani intelligence official has said the Inter-Services Intelligence Agency (ISI) will step up a huge operation to detain or kill the Taliban leader Mullah Omar.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan's Foreign Minister during his visit to China said the death of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan could end up helpful to Afghan peace process.

After the death of Osama Bin Laden in the garrison town of Abbottabad, the country's military intelligence agency has been planning to detain or kill the Taliban leader.

Some reports suggest the ISI has already launched a hunt-down operation in Quetta city of Pakistan.

An ISI official has said on condition of anonymity that a huge military operation will be launched in western parts of Quetta city.

Before the United States start tracking Mullah Omar or take similar action as the operation against Osama Bin Laden, we have planned to capture him alive, or kill him if he resists, the official has said.

During his China visit Afghan Foreign Minister Zalmai Rasoul said: "our primary investigations are not mature enough. Based on our investigations Osama's death could possibly strengthen the peace efforts."

The Omar hunt-down operation is believed to have been launched to downsize the humiliations of Islamabad after Osama Bin Laden was found living in Pakistan for several years.

The US ambassador to Pakistan has recently said if Islamabad fails to conduct operations to neutralise Mullah Mohammad Omar and the second man in command of al-Qaeda network Ayman al-Zawahiri, Washington will do it.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for Afghan intelligence organisation, Lotfullah Mashal, stressed that leaders of insurgent groups plan their attacks outside Afghan borders with full cooperation from Pakistan's military intelligence agency.

Huh! I did not know before that Feinstein announced about OBL before Obama... (sorry if it was already posted here)
The California Connection
The first official to announce the death of Osama bin Laden was not President Barack Obama, it was Senator Dianne Feinstein. The Senate Intelligence Committee chair was speaking at a memorial service in Santa Monica for her longtime campaign manager, Kam Kuwata.

Feinstein says she thought that Obama was about to give his nationally televised address. Which he actually gave about an hour later. And that the memorial, filled with pols and media types, was off the record. Which of course is why her remarks were reported in the media.

These photographs were taken from Sarban Mountain top ( Ht 5500 feet ) and for clarity reasons, it was taken right after the rainfall, as Abbottabad gets very polluted and hazed afterwards..
This photo is showing slums , which were built after Zia's Marshal-Law,..and robbery of national assets became totally out of control during last eight years ,..when Deputy Commissioners were removed ,..
Illegal dictators and monsters need support of pseudo politicians and fake religious people ,..so most of the natural drainage areas, green belts, free lying government lands were grabbed by such people as a black mailing tactic...
If slums were built on private land, even so , Pakistan Environmental Protection Act and Pakistan Antiquities Act , Forest laws, Municipal laws etc..were clearly violated..
Agents in the municipal and local government , either ignored the laws and looked the other way,..or they colluded and took due share in the form of bribes,..
Afghan refugees and migrants from mountains rented such illegal properties and as they had no attachment with the town hence they played havoc with the trees present in those areas,...which they are stealing even today,..and after ten years we will not see even a single tree in this area,.
Ruling elite stayed busy in the developments of their countless posh housing schemes and finally when people realized about this great game, then in 2005 AD, they burnt down the British era land record room in Abbottabad ,.. ( Murree record was burnt few months ago, and Karachi record and maps were burnt down few weeks ago )
Upto 15 feet long hand drawn maps , government confidential papers , survey records,...upto China border,..all kept in neat leather folders ,..disappeared forever with flames on the silent morning of June 6, 2005 ,..Fire engulfed graceful stone and timber structure of Hazara's Mohafiz Khana ,..which was built in 1876 AD..., as usual electric short circuit was blamed, but staff reported that electric main switches were off at the time of fire,..No government agency brought search dogs or investigators after such a big national loss..??

Please note when Army officer's house was robbed in Rawalpindi, then sniffing dogs of Army were called and within minutes culprits were nabbed ,..Ah Pakistan..

(Murree and Karachi as well! Does this mean other high-value targets might possibly be at these locations?).

Before the United States start tracking Mullah Omar or take similar action as the operation against Osama Bin Laden, we have planned to capture him alive, or kill him if he resists, the official has said.
Hope all the other assorted jihadi scum being sheltered by ISI are watching as to how one of their own is being openly betrayed by their protector itself under influence of the great Satan... ISI should be getting its just rewards from its ex-students for this double crossing
