Pakistan and US in a consensual rape
A statement late Thursday from ministry spokeswoman Tehmina Janjua said the teams will share intelligence but that it doesn’t necessarily mean US troops would be allowed on Pakistani soil.

The Associated Press reported the plans for a joint intelligence team on Wednesday. The team is expected to draw in part on any intelligence emerging from materials gathered from bin Laden’s hideout in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad.

I you sift through the blather of India haters like P'Roy and A'Roy, you will see what bugs them about Indian policy

There is in India, as in Israel, a public opinion that recoils at the prospect of talking on equal terms with neighbors viewed as terrorists.
In their minds, India is as much a "terrorist" country as is TSP (like many here who agree with Paki who does an equal equal and is justified in calling RSS a fascist entity), and it is India's recalcitrance, a bloated opinion of itself that is the impediment to garden of Eden in Kashmir and "South Asia". How dare India suggest that what is going in Kashmir is a fight against terrorism, and hence calls from P'Roy to USA to appease Kashmiri Muslims & TSP by treating India at the same level as those criminals.

Apologies for posting this on the TSP thread, but this one is for the Pak-lurkers' viewing pleasure

India to become USD 30 trillion economy by 2030: Ambani
Mumbai, Jun 3 (PTI) India is poised to become a USD 30 trillion economy by the year 2030 from the current USD 1.4 trillion, industrialist Mukesh Ambani said on Friday.

"India is envisaged to grow from a USD 1.4 trillion economy to over USD 9 trillion by 2020 and over USD 30 trillion by 2030 in nominal terms," corporate giant Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said while addressing RIL''s shareholders at the company''s 37th AGM.

India''s continued march on a trajectory of high economic growth rate will translate into exponential growth in several sectors and RIL is well placed to participate in this growth story by aggressively "venturing into newer domains" he said.

....

India''s economy is certain to become the third largest in the world in the foreseeable future.

Global economic scenario improved significantly in the year 2010 owing to accommodative monetary policies by most governments, which led to high liquidity in the system and stronger growth and higher demand.
Once apologies for posting this here, bolding and colouring in parts.

Top misspelled searches of 2011

Slightly OT. Wow, top misspelled searching is 72 virgingins. Even if they had published the country the most searched it, definitely it would be Bakistan only.
Some leading misspellings that Yahoo has documented are '72 virginians' :rotfl: instead of '72 virgins', 'Which american idol has turrets' instead of 'which American Idol has Tourette's', 'Super bowel commercials' for 'Super Bowl commercials', 'Katie Perry' for 'Katy Perry' and Justin Beaver, Justine Bieber - for Justin Bieber , reports the ABC News.

When asked what she thought of U.S. aid to Pakistan, Taha said: "Aid is not meant to control the people, right? Just give us aid, and don't take anything in return."
From the NPR article above, this RAPETTE sums it up well for the Pakibarian.

the 30 trillion thing came from a recent stanchart report.

StanChart sees India as world's 3rd largest economy by 2030

StanChart sees India as world's 3rd largest economy by 2030

India could be one of the largest economies in the world in the next two decades, according to an official from the Standard Chartered Bank.

"We are projecting that by 2030, China, India and Brazil would be the world's first, third and fourth-largest economies," Standard Chartered Bank's Global Head (Client Access Transaction Banking), Neal Livingston, said at an event here today.

"Asia accounts for a third of the world's GDP and is responsible for more than two-third of the world GDP growth," he said.

The bank expects a roll-over in the top five economies of the world and believes that their power could be under threat from the BRIC nations.
India''s GDP is expected to be USD 30-trillion by 2030.

Increased capacity, better infrastructure, quality of education, health and hygiene are likely to boost India's growth.

By 2030, China is likely to supersede the US and would reign as the super economy. China's GDP volume is expected to reach USD 73.5-trillion, the highest in the world. In 2010 China's GDP reached USD 5.9-trillion. The country with the highest population in the world will remain the main engine of growth that is sustained by the manufacturing industry.

Moreover, the highly educated in China surged significantly.

During the past 30-years, China's economy has changed from a centrally planned system that was largely closed to international trade to a more market-oriented one that has a rapidly-growing private sector. A major component supporting China's rapid economic growth has been exports growth.

Brazil's GDP volume is expected to be around USD 12.2- trillion by 2030.

In short summary its not worth the paper its written on. In that case why was it written?

The last lines gives us a clue. The book reflects a British Imperial mindset still prevalent in UK halls of power.

I still haven't forgotten that starting from the invasion in 1947 had Tribals along with Pak Army marching towards J&K killing and raping all that came in its way to the Mumbai attack, every TSPian has been a accomplice in killing Indians.

No sir, I am not going to forgive or forget rest of the TSPian crowd. Rest of the crowd is not getting off this train so easily.

Five myths about Pakistan
http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/ ... story.html
Anatol Lieven
1. Pakistan is a U.S. ally in the war on terrorism
Since Sept. 11, 2001, Pakistan has sometimes helped the United States, and sometimes not. Though some U.S. legislators believe that its intelligence community sheltered bin Laden, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) arrested al-Qaeda leaders Khalid Sheik Mohammed and Ramzi Binalshibh and helped foil terrorist plots by Pakistanis living in Britain. Though they don’t want to promote anti-Western terrorism, Pakistan’s generals do want to cultivate the Afghan Taliban for an expected civil war with anti-Pakistani Tajiks backed by India.
2. Pakistan is an ally of the Taliban.
The Taliban doesn’t trust the Pakistanis. “Pakistan is so famous for treachery that it is said that they can get milk from a bull,” wrote Abdul Salam Zaeef, who was the ambassador to Pakistan for Afghanistan’s Taliban government until 2001. “They have two tongues in one mouth, and two faces on one head, so that they can speak everybody’s language. They use everybody, deceive everybody.” :rotfl:

From the rediff article posted by Ramana ji.. Col Athale openly calls for trifurcation of Pakbarianistan.
International relations are often described as 'geo-politics'. In this the geographical element is unchanging and static, hence the politics or polices have to change to achieve desired results.

In case of Pakistan, its politics is frozen; hence it is political geography that needs to be changed if the Indian subcontinent is to have any hope of peace.

In 1971 major international powers were averse to it. It appears that in the present, except an emerging super power, the rest of the world would gladly accept a trifurcation of Pakistan.

D'oh! moment in an average day in pa'astan. Used lube damaged 200 locos
200 Chinese locomotives were damaged by the use of substandard lubricant and overlooking the wear and tear
air filters and fuel filters of the engines were not changed for two years and used lubricants were injected in engines last year when the oil supply to the railways was ceased
Railway`s former officers said the Chinese engines were deliberately made non-functional to ensure the import of the US engines
Conspiracies, as always. But, used lubricants are dual-use technology. BENIS material.

Govt presents Rs2.767 trn Budget for 2011-12
ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh presented Rs 2.767 trillion Budget for FY 2011-12 envisaging a deficit of 850 billion (4% of GDP) in the backdrop of vociferous slogans by the members of opposition parties here on Friday.
( 850b=10 Bill UsD. Now they r claiming GDP of 250Billion)

Defence budget
The federal government has raised the defence budget by 11.36 percent by allocating Rs 495 billion for the country’s three armed forces in the upcoming financial year 2011-12 against the upward revised budget of Rs 444.495 billion in the outgoing fiscal year ending June 30. The government had been requested by the armed forces to make an allocation of Rs 582 billion. But, the Ministry of Defence had proposed to the Finance Ministry an allocation of Rs 524 billion for the three armed forces – Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Navy. However, keeping in view the tight fiscal space available with the federal government, a sum of Rs 495 billion has been earmarked for the armed forces in the upcoming fiscal year. Of the Rs 495 billion defence budget, Rs 206.488 billion have been allocated for employees’ related expenditures, Rs 128.283 billion for operational expenses, Rs 117.59 billion for physical assets and Rs 42.637 billion for civil works. According to budget documents, in the fiscal year 2010-11 ending June 30, the federal government had allocated a sum of Rs 442 billion for the armed forces but due to certain reasons the allocation was subsequently increased to Rs 444.495 billion. sajid chaudhry

Fate can be real cruel:

Pakistan forces back militants near Afghan border
Pakistani helicopters and artillery on Friday forced back militants who crossed over from Afghanistan this week and triggered battles that have killed scores of people, an official said. The government demanded that NATO and Afghan troops do more to control insurgents on their side of the long, porous border.
I always thought that the threat was from India!!!!!

These MUST be RAW agents, dressed as Afghani Taliban. I am dead sure. No doubt.

Which is why even the mighty NATO could do nothing about it.

Afghanistan has no insurgents. They are all in Pakistan - we all know that. "Insurgents" are a ISI product, funded, trained, managed ............... by the ISI. No one does a better job of this than THE ISI - the best in the world ISI.

What confounds me is that the Pakistanis had a great chance to test their new tactical nuclear missile. And, gosh, they did not.

From the Riedel article - snippets of the problem...
Pakistan is neither a failed state nor a failing state. It functions as effectively today as in decades past. Rather it is a state under siege from a radical syndicate of terror groups
The Pakistani army is genuinely at war with parts of the syndicate of jihadi terror in Pakistan like Al Qaeda and the Taliban
and then the convenient solution
The policies that would help wean the Pakistani army off its obsession with India and jihad are well known. A concerted effort to end the Indo-Pakistani conflict is essential. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, despite Mumbai, is trying to do just that. But it is a hard challenge. Talks to resolve the relatively simple issue of the disputed Siachen Glacier, the world’s highest war zone at the roof of the Himalayas, failed again in May. The harder issue, Kashmir, will probably take years to resolve at best.

But we don’t have years.
No prizes for guessing who he is batting for...

I think the link to this interview with SSS was posted from criticalppp site but here it is if you didn't have a chance.

Three things certainly did SSS and didn't much help Paki cause
[*]reporting that Mullah Baradar is in Paki custody (it is now rumoured that Mullah Baradar actually reported on OBLs hideout)
[*]This interview with Paul Jay in which SSS makes a solid case of potential mutiny within Paki armed forces
[*]Mehran attack as the ultimate confirmation of his take

I clicked on this headline thinking that the Pakistani forces were backing militants near the Afghan Border.
Notice that this headline could mean either of the two:
1. Pakistani forces were backing the militants
2. Pakistanis were forcing back, the militants

Knowing Pakistan, its intel agencies, and its forces, and what they are doing across and along the durand line, one naturally assumed the former.
