It is just not today, but from times immemorial.Goras are anti-bharat.Olympics was first formed to include only the Goras Like the G8 club. When they saw that more & more non-goras are taking part in the olympics they started with Winter Olympics.

Feeling sad that a deserving 19 year old was cruelly dumped for no fault of his.

Your future looks bright, Sumit. Hope you come back with a bang and conquer Rio in 2016

How long will the summer Olympics' sheen last, since Chinese have started topping the table?

summer olympics will last until Cheen starts nabbing around 75% of the medals in a couple of back to back ones. and it will happen the way they are funding it.
the goras will try to decamp and build a firebreak around the X-games and winter olympics...but Cheen will mercilessly pursue them and burn them there too..imagine a short tubby manchu guy winning the tfta giant slalom .... burn baby burn!

Cheen seems to be a hyper large version of our own MUTUs. Trying to beat them at their own game by following their footsteps.

I am not sure whether the sportsmen/women in China are volunteers (like rest of the world) or product of the state.

yesterday a thai boxer was also given a surprising points defeat against a kazakh opponent, both were hugely surprised at the outcome!

singha - i dont think unkil will take it lying down; in the old days us/ussr always topped the tables, now its us/china; the us will continue to produce excellence in sports and innovate. its the europeans and aussies who will be edged out

the human body is also approaching its design limits in a number of fields of endeavour, some sports may pleateau out, others will come through

And a Japanese guy got his result overturned against Korea by appealing. Hope the officials are on their toes.

SBajwa, I remember seeing a Discovery channel episode where for football team selection, the Chinese (army?) guys were made to run long distance race and the selection was based on the completion time. I am not sure if that kind of stuff happens anymore.

EDIT: First set to Bhupathi/Bopanna.

I will take volunteer athletes any time over the state factory zombies!!

50-m rifle 3-positions is an interesting competition., each person gets to shoot 40 shots each in three positions

1. Prone position (100% lying down )
2. Standing position.
3. Kneeling position.

India.....India....against the netherlands. We will win, inshallah.

AoA !

Arrey ....state factory zombies. That is China going for the hallmarks of a great civilization without the inner malba and the inner goodha that is necessary. Indias path is faaaaar healthier.

Chinese thinking towards development and work in general is unhealthy and unsustainable.

London: Indian boxer Sumit Sangwan went down 14-15 under controversial circumstances to Brazilian Yamaguchi Falcao Florentino in the round of 32 of 81kg category at the London Olympics here on Monday.

The 19-year-old Indian fought valiantly and should have won more points but the judges thought otherwise. ESPN commentators were surprised by the verdict and called it "daylight robbery".

Sangwan looked to have taken the first round but the judges decision meant he was left trailing by one point.

I checked other sports. They have sorted by total medals rather than Gold. No issues.

Damn, what a dodgy decision against Sangwan!
Apparently Ajay Maken has lodged an official protest, but knowing how things go, I really doubt the decision will be reversed. We have been robbed.

Bhupathi/Bopanna beat Mirnyi/Bury of Belarus 7-6 6-7 8-6 . Mirnyi is a top doubles player, though he doesn't play with his countryman much.

Hopefully Paes will be even more competitive with Vishnu Vardhan.

Goras here in the US are already beginning to whine and moan that the Olympics "don't matter", now that the cheenis have begun to kick their backsides.
Amreekis only love sports they can win in. The moment they begin to lose (like tennis), they throw tantrums and pretend the game doesn't matter. Cricket is another example.

Lalmohan

if the economy continues to tank the way it is and funding starts to reduce the US will likewise struggle.

Already the morning tamasha on NBC looks bare with hardly a handful of atheletes to tom tom about

they are using rubbish fillers

If swimmers do not do well in the next few days that cupboard is going to look bare
