Poonia did well to finish with 63.62. Not quite a national record, but even breaking the NR by 2 metres would not get her a medal here.

We also have a good finals contender in Vikas Gowda in the men's event. On current form he probably won't medal, but can finish in the top 6 in the final if he throws well.

the amount of corporatization of olympics is disgusting. US NBC has full control. they sued a small meat shop because he displayed an olympic ring made of sausages.

One of the major difference between us and the rest is the level of Doping

The gold medal winner in Female Discuss was tested positive for methylhexanamine last year and banned for 6 months

This is ridiculous! Absolute robbery! Stalker gets beaten up in this round, and apparently he has won 9-5. No point watching any further, Kumar might as well throw in the towel.

Stalker is quite simply wobbling, that's how badly he has been beaten up.

They can appeal, but it will just be a waste of $500 since appeals are meant only to provide favourable decisions to goras.

Neither the Will nor the Cash: Why India Wins So Few Olympic Medals

The world's largest democracy wins fewer medals per person than any other country. It's been priced out of its most competitive sport, but could national priorities also play a role?

A clean hit to the face or body using the knuckles is counted as a point if majority of the referees press their scoring button within 1 second of each other. Else, the point doesn't register.

When the Gora superiroty is threatened, all the talk of morality and rules and procedures goes out the window and knives are quickly out against the browns and blacks. They will do anything -- cheating, threats, intimidation, trickery, deciet -- to get an upper hand.

There seems to be some major rigging going on through the judges to make sure Goras keep winning by hook or crook.

scores in boxing are given for clean hits to head and upper body. stalker was quite lucky that he managed to catch manoj out a few more times than vice versa, but manoj dominated

irfan rocked! poor old borchin, i thought he was dead
krishna did well for 7th in final
all round good improvement across the board

the level of competition is brutal, the women's triathlon today was a killer - amazed at the level of fitness and single minded dedication

women's heptathlon! wow, again awesome competition (and every one of the women is a looker!)

btw - the judges in the manoj bout were mostly mid-eastern and east european and the ref was an argentinian. no particular gora bias i think

^^ Sorry No way Stalker won this. If you take out the first/third round since they even out. All that remains is Round 2 and Manoj definitely won it... The East European judges are as corrupt as they come... Please check about the Ajerbejain-WBA payment issue

Our management babus incharge of teams definetly act like Sissies in front of the Goras

F*** this Boxing Event in Olympics

This is very correct. A gora is magnanimous and even preachy as long as you acknowledge the gora to be your maibaap.

I can't help but feel disappointed with Saina. It's a great achievement to win a medal in badminton, but I guess it's because I was hoping for Image
