Re: Internal Security Watch
These unprovoked rioting in heart of South Mumbai has ominous signs for things to come! Burning down media vans and BEST buses on outrageous excuse that media is not covering myanmar and assam violence and so take to street and hold mumbai to ransom! The local reaction is one of bewilderment and quick get home panic! My senior citizen father watched van burning and rioters going berserk first hand and narrowly escaped by hurrying into the azad maidan police station itself! Witnessed the poor best bus driver being pulled off the bus and manhandled by raging muslim mob! will post his first hand recount of initial response/reaction of police later. Father saw a guy next to him get shot in arm by bullet but no news channel mentions mentioned any firing so far!
Re: Internal Security Watch
^^ And when the dam bursts due to pent up angerdue to the constant antics of a certain community, the same community will then hide behind "we are oppressed minority onlee" without a iota of soul searching as to why the majority community finally lost its patience ( like in Gujarat).
Somehow, when NDTV mentioned arson reported in Mumbai without naming any org( would have boldly screamed Shiv Sena, MNS if they had even thrown a stone), could easily guess what it was about. Only surprised it wanst on a friday.

Oppressed minorities demonstrating the injustice being perpetrated by a fascist majority.Mostly must be RSS-saffron terrorist types who cleverly dressed like a certain community to defame them:

Re: Internal Security Watch
So Shiv Sena/Mns and the likes have also been successfully dhimmified ? What is honestly going to stop these guys repeating this in every city ?
Re: Internal Security Watch
If the Shiv Sena/MNS types had even bothered coming within 3-4 kms of this riot zone, all the headlines and debates tonight in DDM and tomorrow in papers would have been about how communal Hindutva parties caused a peaceful rally to go beserk and we would have had heart-rendering stories of some innocent members of a certain community telling about how they were just walking in a rally when trishul wielding people threw stones on them and taunted them which led to the innocent community members to go beserk and destroy everything in their path! And the story would have run for 3-4 days
Since that didnt happen, can safely bit that this riot story will be safely enclosed in 1 para in the back and quietly buried in a day so that "secular fabric" is maintained

CCS to consider ‘corrective’ steps on Indo-Bangla border
Aug 11, 2012 - Rajnish Sharma |
The Cabinet Committee on Security will soon discuss threadbare security along the India-Bangladesh border and suggest “corrective measures, particularly in areas of strategic importance like border fencing, checking infiltration and smuggling”.
Top government sources said the comprehensive security review at the CCS level was necessitated by the recent ethnic violence in Assam, whose roots lie in cross-border infiltration. The government, sources added, attached a lot of importance to the violence in Assam and was keen to ensure there was no repeat of such incidents in future. This is more so as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is a MP from Assam.
“It is an easy excuse to say Assam has a history of such ethnic clashes. But this time we need to get to the root cause and fix it. This review is a great opportunity for security agencies as it will go beyond Assam and look at security hazards in the entire Northeast due to the highly porous border,” a senior government official said.
While work on the 3,400-km fencing along the Indo-Bangladesh border is said to be progressing at a “satisfactory pace”, certain patches are still an area of concern. Sources claim that a stretch of at least 40 km at different places in Assam is still not fenced. In addition, there are riverine areas which are not patrolled properly. Floodlighting along the fencing also has to be expedited, officials said.
After the recent ethnic clashes, the intelligence agencies have told the government there was an “erratic increase” in population in some Assam districts, including Kokrajhar and Dhubri, among the areas worst affected by rioting.

Re: Internal Security Watch
Mumbai was itching to happen. More will happen on every such opportunity - partly a fallout of electoral results, and the inner struggle between the D-company+Paki+Indian-allies versus their opposition. Mumbai has the largest concentration of reps from NE and eastern Islamist circles. So a lot of interests coincide here and see in the ongoing struggle a kind of iconic fight to retain control over Mumbai in Islamist hands.
Assam is not being reported properly. Its not just about labour immigration - its also about the mullahs and the islamist netwoks that are immediately established once a sufficient number accumulates ina region. Locals see these even rudimentary huts as suspicious and safe-houses for transborder traffic. There is huge resentment on suspicion of political support for BD immigrants. Actually there appears to be very few "hindu" immigrants in that sector from BD - although they do exist. But they seem to be able to show long-standing relatives and extended clans on this side of the border - which most of the Muslim immigrants are unable to show. Moreover, mullahs or their aides quickly form "self-defence" groups which are accused of strong arming the locals with indirect state machinery help.
Gogoi is adamant though - for people claim that there is a lot of pressure on him to maintain status quo. The zone is corridor further NW into the Nepal gun-running route. BD traffickers are connected to this lobby too - so it might already be too late.

Several woman police constables, who were trying to manage the crowd after a law and order situation broke out in Azad Maidan, were molested by the mob.
There were also reports that a few of the rioters had stolen police weapon and fired in the air and at the police.

Mumbai violence: Panic at Cama, Xavier’s
My Father was near the spot at 3:20PM and went into Azad Maiden police station for safety seeing rioters. The police under assault from rioters had closed the entrance gates to police station itself and he had to show his ID card and shame them into allowing him inside the gate to get away from rampaging rioters, who by then had already caused injuries to dozens of police staff. He witnessed chaos in the lower ranks and how initial reaction of force was to retreat into the station mostly prompted by wanting to protect female cops, dad saw almost 30-40 of female cops on the ground floor of station rather shaken up! To full credit of the Mumbai police force, the seniors came down from upper floor offices of police station and got them organised quickly and lead them out armed with batons to get the rampaging mobs to disperse. By then he could hear fuel tanks of few media and police vans, set on fire by rioters, explode. I must say dad has developed huge respect for much maligned "pandu" seeing them at close quarters in such tensed up situation! It was basically dedication of force, mainly having only danda as weapon, that quickly reorganized and got handle on the situation where mob of least 400-500 was on rampage on street and spreading in all direction. Quiet a few of them brandishing hocky sticks which they used to smash glasses of 20 some BEST buses. The mob dispersed fast and ran away towards crawford market and behind CST. Dad got out from back gate at around 3:50 PM, towards CST and Times building and carried his 75 yrs old legs as fast as he could towards Police headquarter away from trouble and another pandu near Roopam store hailed down a taxi for him to get him away safely. The Mumbai Police under direct assult did wonderful to get situation under control and in ensuring that college student and most of the innocent public all stayed off the streets till they got situation under control by erecting quick barricades and road blocks and effectively containing the spread!
The riots at Azad Maidan led to panic in the nearby colleges and hospitals.
State-run Cama and Albless Hospital, located a stone’s throw from the rioting spot, has close to 150 women and children admitted in the hospital at any given point of time.
“On hearing the firing we immediately closed the three main approach gates of the hospital,” said a medical officer at Cama hospital. The staff did not want to take any chances with the security as the hospital was attacked by LeT terrorists in 2008.
“At 3.30 pm, I was going towards Colaba when my taxi was stopped by a few people. They started banging the door and threatened the driver to come out of the taxi. They were all set to hit him, but we managed to escape,” said Nupur Rawat. When she turned back and saw vehicles engulfed by flames, she realised that it was something serious.
All shops around the Azad Maidan were shut down while the students of St Xavier’s College were trapped inside for almost 45 minutes.
“The college got over by 4.20 pm but we were not allowed to go out by the authorities. We were allowed to leave only by 5.30pm. Our parents were panicking and everybody was on the phone. Luckily nobody from our college got hurt in the incident,” said Karan Freese, student of Xavier’s College. “Some of our classmates panicked as we have never witnessed such incident before,” said Raj Betaille, another student.

Re: Internal Security Watch
Education (learning to read and write) doesn't change the world view of Muslims which is shaped by their holy book and the Maulvis who drill them every Friday. I have very educated Indian Muslims in my office who argue with me regularly about 9/11 being a Jewish conspiracy. One "educated" Muslim in my company has seven children -- the dude is breeding like hell, but avoids talking about his family so as not reveal the number of kids. He also lusts after other (Hindu) women in office, and I had to recently take him to task for this officially.kshatriya wrote:What is shocking is the behaviour of the so called Educated Class ? I think India has entered a state of civil war between their two big majorities
It is a myth that Muslims who get to know maths and English will become more liberal. They are duty bound by their faith to do everything to gain an upper hand over non-Muslims. The vision is to capture and rule the land, whether in India or Europe or Africa, and then live off the hard labour of non-Muslims. For this, they have developed many strategies. Increasing their numbers to a crticial mass is the most important -- this is what is happening in Assam. They find strength in numbers -- their rioting is based on collecting huge numbers on a short notice -- extremely quick mobilization like a professional army. (In Mumbai, 50,000 Muslims converged on the venue in an hour.) Their domination of a society is based on numbers -- quickly out-breed others or migrate to particular areas to turn them into Muslim majority.
Non-Muslims who refuse to acknowledge this aspect of increasing their numbers out of politeness and refuse to take precautions for their country will surely come to grief. The Golden rule is: no matter what happens, never allow them to increase their numbers abnormally and form a critical mass.
As for a civil war, there was a civil war in 1947 and there will be another one in the next 20 to 30 years. Our children will bear the brunt and thank Gandhi and Nehru for not allowing full transfer of population despite handling over a huge chunk of land on a silver platter to them. The dilli billis and assorted liberals of the Rajdeep and Ghosh variety would have fled to Europe and America by then with their families, leaving Hindus behind to stew in the juice.
The only solution would be to capture bangladesh and pakistan again and then complete the unfinished agenda of population transfer on gun point. There is no other way if we have to survive. Also, Hindus have to stop voting for Hindu politicans who openly side with Muslims for winning elections and show open hostility to anyone aticulating Hindu interests. These people are the snakes in our backyard.

The faltering economy means that worse will come. I think the Central and State governments should spend heavily on strengthening police forces. Maybe every state government should be asked to raise an Army division, if that force will continue to be the only one capable to restoring order.

Re: Internal Security Watch
This is what Israel is doing -- but military solution can only gain you some decades, especially if you don't stop them from over breeding. Economy has nothing to do with the increase or decrease in Muslim rioting -- this is just another urban legend. In the long term, controlling their numbers is the only solution.vera_k wrote:The faltering economy means that worse will come. GUWAHATI: There is a sense of insecurity and fear amongst students and working professionals from the northeast in Pune and other places as well after the attack on some northeastern people in Pune on August 8 and 9.
Some people from the northeast were beaten up at Kondhwa near Poona camp by some miscreants belonging to a particular minority community. Approximately 10 students and working professionals were attacked in the Kondhwa area and Poona camp area. The incident can be termed as a backlash of the ethnic riots in western Assam.
"The miscreants were saying 'Kisi Chinki Logon Ko Chor ne Ka Nain' (Don't leave anyone with Mongoloid features'. The incident occurred some three days ago when we were assaulted at Kondhwa by miscreants of a particular community for no apparent reason. Kondhwa is inhabited by people of that community," Kahomdai Panmei, one of the victims and a working professional at a noted software company said.
He added, "The incident has left a sense of fear amongst us as we are being targeted for the happenings in western Assam. We are in constant touch with higher authorities and they are taking stock of situation, which may occur again."
He said people from the northeast are staying indoors after the incident to avoid attacks on them. "The police are being very cooperative, but most of us work in IT companies and have to return home late at night. I have also heard that the principal of Poona College has urged the students from the northeast not to attend classes for sometime. We are in touch with northeast students' unions," said Panmei.
Meanwhile, the state secretary of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyathi Parishad (ABVP) Krishna Kanta Borah said, "This is a serious issue and we condemn the incident vehemently. We ask the government to provide security to the students of the northeast and ask the authorities in Pune to arrest the miscreants as soon as possible."
"We got to know about the incident and we are very worried. If this happened in Pune, it can happen elsewhere too. It is a backlash to the ethnic strife that happened in western Assam as such clashes creates a sense of paranoia in the hearts and minds of people," said Bedanta Das, a working professional in Bangalore.
The Northeast Students' Union, Pune and the Pune Police held a meeting in connection with the assault on Saturday. Police condemned the violence on the community.

Bareilly in grip of communal violence
Bareilly in grip of communal violence
BAREILLY: Following incidents of violence and it subsequently assuming the proportion of a communal riot, district administration has imposed curfew in Bareilly's Jagatpur area on Saturday.
According to police sources, at around 7.30 p.m., a communal clash broke out between two communities in Jagatpur area of Bareilly during a huge procession on account of Janmashtami. Brick-batting and heavy firing took place between two rival groups in which many are feared to be injured seriously.
District magistrate Abhishek Anand said, "Keeping note of sensitivity in the area, the district administration has imposed immediate curfew in Jagatpur areas as of now. However, situation is under control in rest of the city and the administration would keep strict vigil and continuous patrolling in entire city to avoid any untoward incident further."
The trouble started when on Friday evening, police were trying to ban the use of loudspeaker at a place of worship in Bhojipura, Jogi Navada and Haziapur areas on account of Janamashtami. Angry locals especially women of the areas opposed the police stand, staged a protest and even pelted stones at police.
According to sources, police forcefully got the loudspeakers removed from the places of worship after members of the particular community objected to it. The incident gradually flared up into a protest soon. However, a team of administrative officials along with heavy police force rushed to the spot and pacified the situation.
Over the issue, district magistrate Abhishek Anand denied the incident of stone pelting and said, "After recent communal clash, the district administration had drawn up a riot action plan and has restricted the usage of loudspeakers at religious places. And on that basis, we removed the loudspeakers but now the situation in under control now. It was a small ruckus created by villagers over the ban on loudspeaker."

TOI some labourers from Assam abandoned their construction job in kerala (probably in a muslim dominated area) and were on their way home when in Andhra pradesh one was assaulted by a muslim mob. one of them escaped by jumping off a train. the RPF came and saved the guy who was being beaten.
looks like friday was a well organized "day of rage" nationwide with some sort of C3I network spreading the plan beforehand.
meantime everyone from India Today to rediff are hard at work painting this as a anti-muslim pogrom (hopefully with a saffron link to be uncovered later)

Dangers of legitimizing Islamic Grievances
Thus, if you see the stream of articles in Outlook and other publications - the intent is the same. They're all playing their role in legitimizing Muslim grievances in Assam. Owaisi has just taken the next step - he's connected these grievances directly with violence. There is no surer path to Muslim violence than through the legitimization of Muslim grievance. And once you accept the legitimacy of the grievance, then you are also bound to accept the legitimacy of the violence that follows.

There is an entire industry in India of leftist/liberals who are full time into inciting Muslims by manufacturing grievances for them. These are traitors but the problem is Congress is hand in gloves with them. This party sustains this grievance industry of Muslims for thier votes while Hindus die in the resulting riots. There is no surer path to Muslim violence than through the legitimization of Muslim grievance. And once you accept the legitimacy of the grievance, then you are also bound to accept the legitimacy of the violence that follows.

Mumbai violence: Decoding ‘violent’ Raza Academy
Located in the heart of the Muslim locality at 52 Dontar Street, Damar Gali, Khadak, near Mohammed Ali Road, Raza Academy is a known name.
Formed in 1978, its main purpose was to print and publish books written by the Barelvi sect founder Alahazrat Imam Ahmed Raza and other writers of Ahlesunnat Jamaat.
“We are the only Idara (organisation) in India and Pakistan that has published over 700 books. Our organisation published books of Sunni preachers,” said Saeed Noori, founder-president. “We also take up issues related to the community like providing relief during disasters and defending the community’s rights.”
Among the issues the academy have defended include Julus against Salman Rushie in 1988, scrapping of ties with Israel and raising a voice against ‘communal’ elements. Lately, it had opposed the visit of Pakistan-born Islamic scholar Tahir-ul-Qadri’s visit to India.
However, not many in the community feel its activities and interest are as pious. In fact they accuse Noori and his academy of instigating violence and its president of having becoming leader of Barelvi sect in Mumbai. “The real work of Raza Academy has been to incite people from the community,” said a maulana. “They were at the forefront in the attacks on the policemen in Bhiwandi. Wherever they make a presence the issue tends to become violent.”
Re: Internal Security Watch
Any information about the ethnicity of the rioters? Were they all "indigenous" or were Bangladeshi migrants involved?
Re: Internal Security Watch
Sad but seems like a huge majority of this minority is behaving this way and is becoming tough to think otherwise. If anyone still has any doubts on whether Muslims consider themselves as Indians, he should get his head checked. There is nothing like Indian Muslims. ******** traitors.
Very depressing indeed.
