Anyone got a link to the video of the KP CM assassination attempt?
The Pakistanis tried to do another Sunroof lever type suicide bomber type attempt, but the bomber failed.
Police tried to shoot down the bomber before he presses the button and got his 72.
Geo tv was telecasting such a video

My plan:
1. Infiltrate India-Pak track 2 group.
2. Float the idea that Indian Muslims are totally marginalized and that Pakistan should offer permanent residency and citizenship for Indian Muslims.
3. Keep bringing up this idea on every platform possible and expose their fake concern for Indian Muslims.

Re: Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan - Dec 25, 2012
Poor Hazaras are getting slaughtered.
Last time a few weeks back a bomb went off in a hall and when doctors and journalists and people came rushing in, another one went off killing a lot more. Someone I used to know who was vocal on hazara issues died. They found his body without an arm. the hazara community then protested for several days sitting in the middle of the street refusing to bury their dead, demanding action.
they then sacked the chief minister, raisani who was a big drunkard and didn't even care to come home from London. Where apparently he lives happily with a motorma , imbibing happiness liquids. Actually they couldn't even sack him because he needed to resign if an elected chief minister is to be replaced with another without dissolving the government. That was a bizarre situation. But the fellow himself is not to be blamed for being a drunkard because he was just some random puppet, pressured by the army who runs the real show in Baluchistan. He couldn't even go to the bathroom without their approval. Any rational person then will get frustrated , give up , go to London, drink, and find motormas.
Fast forward to now, more hazaras are killed. Most papers and TV call it hazara killing without calling it for what it actually is. It is shia genocide. Other Pakjabi shias are hard to identify (also they can escape if asked "are you shia" by replying "look that guy is ahmadi!!" ) but hazaras are easy to identify. Also the establishment is trying to eclipse baloch nationalism with sectarian genocide.
The community so far thinks they can get protection by filing petitions and protesting peacefully. They should take a long, hard look at east Pakistanis and how they finally got protection from genocide from pakjabi hordes.

Is Bruce Reidel saying that any military action by India to defend itself is a threat to the whole world?

He seems to put the threat to American interests due to military action by India well above the threat of Pak Army, Al Qaeda and jihadi groups.
Apart from the standard bromide 'war is bad for all concerned' 'Al Qaeda wanted war', actually his assumption that war by India would have been disaster for the world does not make a lot of sense if you think about it.
A Pak Army and its jihadi militias thrashed by India in a short or medium term war would have been much more amenable to supporting US efforts for peace in Afghanistan. Its not like Umrika has an upper hand over Afghanistan or Pak Army even after India's restraint

Riedel sounds like a typical American used cars salesman slime ball, poiting out the terror atack to TSP, and yet in the same breath , lots of of equal equal crap, not the evil that it is, to soothe the hearts of TSP RAPE. TSP will wear his views as a badge of honor. Some choice quotes:
Both India and TSP are global super powers of the 21st century onlee, one in becoming the world's epicenter of terrorists, and other in its ability to absorb terrorist attacks.
Understanding the Mumbai terrorist attack and its consequences
is critical to understanding the challenges that America faces in
dealing with the rise of India and Pakistan.
The crisis in Mumbai, the first
foreign policy crisis for President Obama, demonstrated dramatically how the rise of India and the rise of Pakistan will challenge
America in the century ahead.
Obama
was careful throughout the crisis to make clear that Bush was
still president and that he was not yet in charge, but the events in
Mumbai shaped his thinking about the world and the rise of India
and Pakistan
The Mumbai crisis highlighted the vital interests that the United
States has in the rise of India and Pakistan , and determining how
to cope with their emergence as major world powers is among its
most urgent priorities

I fail to understand what the fuss is about the yom-e-azadi when the Eid falls on different days in the provinces of the pureland. All depends on when the moon is sighted. I am sure the KP govt has shifted to some refined version of the calendar which needs to be propagated to the rest, then everybody will celebrate on the same day.

From Kerala to Karachi - The Hindu
ustafa, 57, a betel farmer in Tirur, steps into the fields every morning with a prayer that the friendship between India and Pakistan should last and grow.
This is a daily ritual for the community of betel farmers and traders in this small town in Malappuram district in Kerala, as their livelihood depends solely on the markets of Lahore and Karachi. They produce and export ‘Tirur Lanka Paan’, well known in the markets of Pakistan for its distinctive flavour.
No other paan, the farmers of Tirur and the Pakistani fans claim, comes close to the Tirur Lanka Paan in size and quality.
For more than a century, Tirur has been an exclusive centre for betel trade in Kerala. Before Independence, it was exported on a small scale via the railways. But after the Urdu-speaking Muslims, who saw Tirur’s potential for betel export, moved in from places such as Vellore, Ambur and Katpadi, trade began to flourish and gradually expanded to Pakistan.
Soon enough, a paan bazaar sprung up in Tirur. Today, there are six betel exporters who send their consignment four to five days a week.
Betel is harvested based on the orders placed from Pakistan. The leaves are sent to the exporters’ godowns through middlemen where they are sorted and packed in bamboo baskets by skilled labourers. Packing is a long-drawn process that goes on till midnight.
It is then sent by an early morning flight from the nearest airport: Karipur, in Kozhikode. By next morning, it reaches the paan mandis in Pakistan.
Since there are no direct flights from Karipur to Pakistan, the packages are sent via Doha in Qatar. Before Karipur got an airport, the exporters used to send the consignment via Bombay, where they had established godowns.
Shankunni Kutty Menon, who has been in trade for 54 years, has much to say about the glorious past. He remembers how the business peaked in the 1980s. The Tirur paan bazaar never slept. It would be bustling with activity, as business was an all-night affair. Every evening, the farmers would bring in the harvest themselves, carrying it on their heads. Even the chai shops remained open all night.
However, as years went by, things began to change. The arrival of paan masala, rising freight fares and changes in the booking system began to affect business, says Menon. Traders in Tirur also believe that betel leaves produced in Sri Lanka that look similar to the Tirur betel and use the name ‘Lankan pan’, may have played a role in impacting their business.
Until about 10 years ago, the Pakistani traders would visit their partners in Tirur for special occasions. Later, due to visa and security complications, they stopped coming. The Muslims, who popularised Tirur betel, have now either retired or quit. From 30, the number has dwindled to three, says Bappu of VP Kutbuddin & Sons, who hails from Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Some have returned to their hometowns. Bappu has also started to think about returning.
