This guy is should have been the spinner in Baki kirket team.
Yes, of course. Paki smarmy is just waiting for those percentages to align itself so it can go after those non uniformed jihadis with vengeance. Alas, currently it is stretched(getting GUBOed maybe).
In tamil there is a crude saying which translates to laughing with your ass.

What is actually stopping us from supporting Balochistani freedom fighters with arms and military training, and make the allegation come true? We have to do a Kashmir to Pakistan and pay it back in the same coin -- how hard is this to comprehend for the Congress party?Varoon Shekhar wrote:There is nothing to suggest that India is involved in a big way in Baluchistan i.e weapons, training, sanctuary or even ideology. But the Baluchistan movement itself is progressive, in that it undermines the Pakistani ideology, military domination and oligarchy, and strives for a more democratic, pluralistic state and society.

A tail of two mujahideen commanders
( Glimpse of what is coming Next for Purelanders and thet dream of Conquring SDREs who cab blow them with SimpleBirp)As the saying goes, durr ke dhol suhaney (distant drumbeats sound melodious). In the same sense, ideological propaganda is based on stories of far off, unseen lands where the great historic struggle for Sharia is being fought and the pangs of birth of a new egalitarian society is being heard. All the flowery adjectives are heaped on the struggle for new societies or great Arab springs and the jihad whether in Russia, Algeria, Palestine, Kashmir, Philippines, Chechniya or Afghanistan. It was only later that we realised the failings, human suffering, rapes and mass killings from these far off mystic lands that woke us up from dreaming of revolutions in our own country.few years later, my brother was getting married in Peshawar, and my younger brother who was had friends all over Peshawar wanted to celebrate this first wedding in family with style. He arranged a few dancers from Lahore for a mujra night. That was quite a tricky thing as it is not the mujra but the attendants who get rowdy and need to be controlled. Two maternal cousins, Lala and major sahib, who roamed about with body guards were given the duty to police the event. The bearded bodyguard of major sahib was showering notes on the dancer. After some small fights, the mujra concluded peacefully and I was asked to show the major and his bodyguards their rooms, biathaks (drawing rooms) borrowed from neighbours. I could only remember the ferocious and violent eyes of the bodyguard as he swayed back to his room. When I entered the room I saw empty bottles that explained his blood shot red eyes. He seemed a strange character, to be the bodyguard of major sahib but he acted as his friend and equal. When I asked my cousin what kind of mujahid commander is was. He laughed heartily and said, anyone can become a commander in Afghanistan. All he has to do is to arrange a few young men and some Kalashnikovs, dig in two spikes across the road, put a chain in between and start collecting taxes from passing vehicles. If you can arrange a few fellows and Kalashnikovs, viola! You too can become Commander Sabir Nazar!

at this level, their entire reason for existence is BALANCE between india and pak. This balance is everything for them. That's why you won't see any of them speaking plain truth. Pretty good discussion on Arnab Goswami's programme, about Hagel's comments, and Christina Fair is on it, sounding fairly reasonable. Though she makes some very vague comments suggesting India is not up to everything good in Afghanistan. She almost has to get those in. Sadanand Dhume is a guest too.

I only wonder why CChristinefair has again stooped herself by attending an "indian media zoo" - last time (in 2011) she was properly POed and complaining to her paki fliends on teetar that no one cared or gave a special treatment to her sorry @ss in arnabs show

WD claims to be a desendent of the Nizam's harem and an East India Company Official who was posted as the Resident of the Comapny. So he is claiming to be of mughal descent. That explains his world view.
Although the Nizam by proclaiming himself the Nizam had severed the relationship with Mughals.
The first Nizam's name was Chin Quilich Khan and he was Central Asian Turk.
There are lot of British elite who owe their position to the largesse of the EIC-Muslim connections.

A Pakistani naval officer has been shot and injured in an attack in the port city of Karachi.Police in Karachi say that the officer was travelling alone in his car when he was shot, and that they believe there may have been more than one attacker. The incident is the second attack on a Shia naval officer this monthOn 7 February, another Shia naval officer, Lt Commander Syed Asif Hussain Kazmi, was injured following an explosion in his car near the Karsaz naval base in Karachi. He had to have one leg amputated after the attack.Pakistan's navy has been the target of a series of attacks claimed by al-Qaeda and the Pakistani Taliban in the past, the BBC's M Ilyas Khan reports from Islamabad. Those attacks were thought to be a response to the use of naval surveillance aircraft to identify and target Taliban hideouts in the northwest, and also the arrest of pro-Taliban elements within the navy.

Only females who looked "White" married into elite, the male who looked "White" supported British and became ICS officers, and male/females who looked Brown like Indians became "Anglo Indians" i.e. "Christians" for other jobs (Railways, etc). no offense to anyone!!There are lot of British elite who owe their position to the largesse of the EIC-Muslim connections.

Weekly Jarar says women are not allowed to wear contact lenses. It is a great sin. When women wear lenses, the color of their eyes becomes attractive and lures strangers. Such women will face the wrath of God.
Women can also not wear sunglasses because it makes them look seductive and invites male attention.

Pakistan’s Hazaras to take up arms over attacks
QUETTA: Ismatullah holds an AK-47 and checks vehicles on the road. “Enough is enough. We have no trust in the security forces any more and we’ll protect our community ourselves,” says the teenage Shia student.
Outlawed extremist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) claimed responsibility and has threatened to exterminate all Shias. Few believe that dozens of men rounded up after the bomb attacks will ever be brought to justice.
Pakistan’s Supreme Court and rights groups accuse the authorities of failing to protect Hazaras and now young men like 18-year-old Ismatullah are taking up arms to defend themselves and their families.

Damaging vitamin-A derivative
I HAVE been told that some dermatologists are freely prescribing vitamin A derivative (Isotretinoin) to young fertile women without telling them its teratogine (growth retardation of fetus) and hepatotoxic effects.
My question to doctors is: if you cannot prescribe this medicine to your daughter, how come you advise others without preliminary tests and consent?
Should we conclude that it is to get benefit from drug companies of B category? Doctors are the most educated class of our country. It is not expected of them to behave like quacks. Please think over it.

Fazl stresses Army's role in Taliban talks
Justifying PA's entry into talks. The TTP has already rubbished Comedienne Rehman Malik's efforts. It always demanded serious stakeholders. Now Fazl-ur-Rehman has come out openly with who should talk to the TTP. The PA has so far displayed coyishness, as part of a deliberate strategy, about involving itself in these talks. It even said that armed action was the only way though it has been refusing to take any action and always demanded a unanimous parliamentary decision on this matter of military action. So, the drama is unfolding as we knew it would.

You really can't make this up:
China wants to find PM2.5 a Chinese name, Netizens chime in
China wants to find PM2.5 a Chinese name, Netizens chime in
It’s another heavy smog day in Beijing, and the Chinese government finally decided to do something about it – to find PM 2.5 a proper Chinese name.
According to Xinhua News, the official news agency of China, the country’s National Committee for Terms in Sciences and Technology plans to give an official Chinese name to PM2.5, a Western term that has become an extremely high-frequency word in China in the past year.
PM 2.5 means particulates or particulate matters smaller than 2.5 micrometers in diameter (about 0.0001 inches). PM 2.5 level (quantity per cubic meters) is a relatively new standard for air quality. In the past, there used to be TSP (Total Suspended Particulate) and PM 10 (particles with a diameter of 10 micrometers), both of which have corresponding Chinese names. For example, PM 10 is Sniffable Particles (back-translated from its Chinese name of “可吸入颗粒物”).
PM 2.5, though a buzz word, has never been given an official Chinese name; and that’s unacceptable. For the Chinese government to effectively manage PM 2.5 (or anything really), it, of course, needs to be talked about in Chinese first.

That link leads to a very interesting (IMO) interview of Dr. Ayesha Siddiqa (she wrote Military Inc.: Inside Pakistan's Military Economy).
Not a lot is new, but it gives readymade context to rising Sunni led terrorism in Punjab, the impending Shia mass wajib-ul-cuttletting and Nawaz Sharif's party's close connection with the jihadists.
For folks who're not that clued in, this is as good a place as any to start.
Excerpts:
What happens post 2014:
How the jihadists are going to foment more violence and become more mainstream:I haven’t said that after 2014 the focus of militancy will be on sectarian violence only but I am saying that these militant organisations that have sectarian violence as part of their larger agenda will strengthen and thrive in the country. Anti-Shiism is one of their agenda.......he other part of their philosophy pertains to expanding their political strength within and outside the territory.
LeJ is part of the larger Deobandi network that is connected with other groups like SSP, JeM, HuM and HUJI. Also, it has the Tableeghi Jamaat and JUI-F network to depend on......here is a general perception that bringing these parties into politics will indeed result in their mainstreaming and creating an opportunity to wean them away from violence. However, the violent portion will continue to exist and expand. In fact, it will be able to justify itself and hide better due to this mainstreaming.
Nawz Sharif's the brave 'loin' of Punjab and PML-N's compromise with terrorists:LeJ and the Deobandi network has expanded quite well in parts of North Punjab and most of South Punjab. They are now getting into Sindh as well. They are playing a role in Sindh Urban and linking up with MQM-H. They are focused on their ideology which means strengthening of a Sunni state that sees the minorities in a certain role. Minorities will always be considered as half citizens.

The PML-N leadership has a history with the LeJ. It tried to curb it during the 1990s but was taken to task through a terrorist attack aimed at killing the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. In 2008, the PML-N seems to have adopted a new strategy that is based on cooperation rather than conflict with the LeJ. There are stories of a deal struck at that time...
How the loonies are all the same:The Punjab government seems to have tried to make the best of a situation. In an environment where it was not allowed to take any action against these various outfits, and there was the fear factor as well, they decided to deal with it by sleeping with the enemy. There are reports of seat adjustment between PML-N and LeJ which now calls itself ASWJ for 2013 elections.
Shias of Pakistan, beware y'all:The TTP, LeJ and Afghan Taliban are all ideologically tied if not organisationally. They keep getting strength from each other and have fought together. Al-Qaeda now has local franchises which means prominence of these local Punjab-based outfits. We also need to understand that the traditional al-Qaeda was dominated by Arabs. The LeJ types have inherited the larger agenda of creating a Sunni Islamic state and fighting all those considered as enemies.
I have been to villages that follow JeM and LeJ in South Punjab, for instance, where they express displeasure of the Shias and Barelvis. The Shias are considered a greater enemy than the Barelvis who are only treated as yet as fools who ought to be corrected. This thinking is in the police and other organisations of law and order as well. There is now a natural division in Punjab between Sunnis and Shias.

Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik [ Images ] on Wednesday asked India [ Images ] and Afghanistan to make their positions clear on the alleged remarks by Chuck Hagel, the newly appointed United States Defence Secretary, that New Delhi has over the years "financed problems" for Islamabad in the war-torn country. Hagel, during a speech in 2011 said, "India for some time has always used Afghanistan as a second front, and India has over the years financed problems for Pakistan on that side of the border."Malik told reporters in Islamabad that he had asked Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai [ Images ] and Indian authorities to clear their positions on the matter.
The minister said Pakistan was a friend of Afghanistan, which has always supported and raised voice at all fora in favour of Afghanistan."I ask Afghanistan to clear its position that it is not involved in any terrorist activity. We have done the best on our part. I hope proper clarification would be issued, otherwise I would demand apology from both India andAfghanistan," he added.
Hs.To a question about dialogue with the Taliban [ Images ], the minister said that Taliban should bring forward reasonable people for the talks. He said the backbone of the Taliban had been broken and they had been weakened, adding that whenever they are weak then offer talks."We had offered the Taliban dialogue on different occasions but these offers were rejected," he said, adding the Taliban can move forward in an appropriate manner by appointing reasonable persons for talks.

Terrorized Ethnic Group to Form Force in Pakistan
Terrorized Ethnic Group to Form Force in Pakistan
Shiite leaders blame inaction by Pakistan’s security service for the rising violence against them in Quetta, the capital of southwestern Baluchistan province. They told The Associated Press recently that they are petitioning the provincial administration of Baluchistan to approve a Hazara-led defense force to work with local police.Retired senior police officer Faqir Hussein said he supported a special protection force, but warned that a Hazara-only one could spark even more sectarian conflict.
A city of nearly 3 million people, Quetta is divided into neighborhoods that include ethnic Pashtuns and Baluch — another minority that dominates Baluchistan province. Hussein said that the other groups often live and work in Hazara-dominated areas, but that Hazaras themselves rarely go outside their own neighborhoods. He said a mixed protection force would be preferable at checkpoints where the neighborhoods intersect. “If a Pashtun comes to a checkpoint, he won’t accept to be stopped and searched by a Hazara and that could start violence,” explained Hussein, who is a Hazara. He said there were parts of Quetta that are “no-go” areas for Hazaras because militant Sunnis are hiding among the local Baluch and Pashtun populations. While they might not support the militants, many local people are too terrified to turn them in.Among the worst parts of Quetta is Sariab Road, a main avenue that is dominated by Pashtuns and Baluch. It has been the scene of numerous attacks and bombings.Hussein turned down a job at the police training academy because he would have to drive along the avenue.“Not because I am a coward, but I also don’t want to commit suicide and it would have been suicide to drive everyday on Sariab Road,” he explained. “Today not one Hazara drives on that road.”
