I think this may lend more corroboration to RD's theory that all paki-originated attacks are nothing but nautanki while the non-paki originated attacks have a chance of consummating.

Not much real and clear news. A lot of muddled reporting just like DDM.
For example:
- How many explosions?
- How many devices detected and defused?
- What were teh actual locations of the explosions?
- What were the casualties? Wounded and dead?
- What is the security picture? airports, public places etc. Gives idea of how big is the threat?
- Any need for blood transfusions?

BPD Commissioner Ed Davis says the blast at the JFK Library around 4:30 p.m., which was announced as an unrelated electrical explosion, was actually an explosion that could be related to the explosions on Boylston Street.

Some reports say, this marathon was supposed to have happened late last year. But was postponed for some reasons. If those reports are true, then CIA would know who the culprits are.

This is the normal time for the Boston Marathon. It is normally held after the Baseball season begins. Red Sox normally have a morning game. Today is the Patriot's day in MA, a State holiday.

Some reports of cell phone network being shut down to preclude that form of timers. So maybe they know more from the defused ones.

Its now marathon season all over the country.

Not true.
Boston Marathon is always held on Patriot's day which is on the 3rd Monday in April. Last year the marathon was conducted as scheduled. It was predicted to be a record heat day so many runners who had qualified were offered to opt out and run this year instead. 2300 runners too this option. This is a qualified race i.e. you need to esdtablish a set time before you can run this race. Even then 27000 runners were scheduled to start today and 50000 people were in attendance. The place is very toursity even on normal days. Lots of offices too in the area. Also there is usually a red sox (baseball) game in the morning hours to coincide with this day so the folks who come out of the game can catch the ending of the race. Patriots day is a local holiday (just a Boston city holiday for city govt employees and schools in Boston city only) .

^^^ Wrt to defused device(s) - BPD is being extra careful and all 'suspicious' packages (mostly innocent - as people may put down a bag.. or things left in confusion) are being taken seriously... so not all the reports of defused devices may be actual bombs..

Wrt to Cell phone network - it is quite routine to ask people to use texting in-stead of voice to prevent bandwidth.. (Most of our talk with our son / DIL has been via texting)

Only NYpost talks about the suspect.

Normally it is difficult to get near the finish line and entry is controlled. May be that is reason why the bomber waited 2 1/2 hours after the elite runners finished. Only then with the security thinning he could get near the finish line.

Also, Boston have (or used to have) buildings owned by Osama's family. (or Bin Ladin Family).. (Condominiums on the waterfront in the city"s Charlestown section, according to records. The Flagship Wharf condos, which sell for $500,000 and up were owned by bin Ladin family)

Bin Ladin family (before 2001) also gave $2 million to Harvard University (for the study of Islamic law and architecture)..

NY post news story:
Investigators have a suspect — a Saudi Arabian national — in the horrific Boston Marathon bombings, The Post has learned.

Law enforcement sources said the 20-year-old suspect was under guard at an undisclosed Boston hospital.

Fox News reported that the suspect suffered severe burns.

It was not immediately clear why the man was hospitalized and whether he was injured in the attack or in his apprehension.

The man was caught less than two hours after the 2:50 p.m. bombing on the finish line of the race, in the heart of Boston.

In addition, Boston police have surveillance video of someone bringing multiple backpacks to blast site, according to CBS News.

Police also confirmed that there was a third explosion, at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. It was not immediately clear how much damage was done or whether it was related to the bombings at the marathon finish line.

The library bombing occurred about 4:30 p.m. and more than a mile from the marathon.

A law enforcement source confirmed to The Post that 12 people were killed :?: :?: and nearly 50 were injured in today's blast.

How long before Pakistan's name and connection surfaces?
One suspect, who was on a 'student visa' identified.

The 'Hool' is turning out to be an actuality - probably they want to slip one in between 'hools'

These guys used ball-bearings / shrapnel in the two bombs to cause increased damage. Eyewitnesses talking about how people have lost two limbs etc etc.
