Hydroelectric plants not producing electricity becuse Indians are sending water to pakistan after extracting the 87% the electricity from it. Paki get to extract only 13 %. Instead of Natural Gas , If Paki can use Hafiz Pig and his Piglet as power source then not only can they eliminate the shortage but export electricity to their Ummah Brother also.

Brig. Zia-ul-Haq in Jordan (1970) - Courtesy: The Friday Times
Let me recall this brave son's service to the Muslim ummah of which Pakistan can be justly proud just like the other brave son AAK 'Tiger' 'Butcher' Niazi.
Gen. Zia-ul-Haq had no compunctions when he (then a Brigadier) led the Jordanian armour in (1967-1970) an operation code-named Op. Black September, against helpless Palestenians refugees massacaring thousands of them in 1970-1971 in camps at Irbid, Salt, Sweileh,Baq'aa, Wehdat and Zarqa . More Palestenians were reported to have died in that operation than at Israeli hands in the previous twenty years. The massacre followed the decision of King Hussein of Jordan to ally with the US after the 1967 six-day war between Israel and Egypt, a decision that the Palestenians in the Jordanian refugee camps resented. As The Jordanian King decorated Brig. Zia with the highest medal of ‘Order of Valiance’, the Palestenians equated him with the Israeli General Ariel Sharon. No wonder the US has several reasons to feel delighted with the Pakistani support.

22-hour load shedding!
http://pakobserver.net/detailnews.asp?id=207841Sunday, May 26, 2013 - IT is unheard of that a country full of required resources and potential to grow should experience load-shedding for almost the entire day. Reports emanating from different parts of the country speak of 22 hour power outages causing not only unimaginable difficulties for the masses but also leading to death of several people a day.

Pakistan Taliban issue fresh threat to kill Musharraf
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan on Sunday issued a fresh warning in a video message posted on Taliban website Umar Media, saying "Soon we will punish this Satan (devil) to death for his wicked deed"."From Baluchistan to Waziristan, Musharraf threw this country in blood and fire, he is the killer of hundreds of innocent students of Lal Masjid (red Mosque)," Ehsan said.
Since Nawaz Sharif, ousted by Musharraf's coup in 1999, won the election there has been speculation a deal would be reached to allow Musharraf to leave Pakistan without facing the courts.

ISLAMABAD : Barring significant and upfront increases in electricity tariffs, the incoming Nawaz administration will face an energy sector debt that is rapidly approaching Rs1 trillion.

Withdrawing from Afghanistan : The big retrograde

CheersShifting that much kit, with an estimated value of $30 billion, is daunting enough. The retrograde itself will cost as much as $6 billion and involve about 29,000 personnel, for the American part alone (each of the 50 coalition countries is responsible for its own logistics). The job is unprecedented in complexity; compared with Iraq, the region’s terrain and politics make it a mover’s nightmare.
The biggest problem, says Major Bradley Sines of the 1st Theatre Sustainment Command, is that for the first time America finds itself fighting a war without a reliable seaport. From Iraq there was easy access to Kuwait. Afghanistan’s landlocked borders put the nearest usable port in Karachi, in Pakistan, which can be reached only by crossing the Khyber Pass in the east, or at Chaman in the south.

David vs. Goliath or is it Dawood vs. Gopi?
So Paki exports of $20B is actually $200B in PPP (Paki Pricefixing Parity) terms.
So how can this be a David vs. Golaith situation?
Er... By Lahori logic, isn't 1 TFTA Paki momin == 10 SDRE Yindoo banias/brahmans?The ball, however, lies in Pakistan’s court. For India, Pakistan represents a negligible export market, as the amount of our neighbour’s annual exports already hover around the $300 billion mark. On the other hand, Pakistan stands to gain much more in comparison if it taps India’s mammoth-sized markets, since Pakistan’s annual exports are at a meagre level of around $20 billion. The gains from bilateral trade are thus heavily tilted in Pakistan’s favour in terms of increased exports. Much has already been said and written about the other gains for Pakistan’s economy, like consumer savings and cheaper production inputs.

Vikas, there was never a warm relationship between Yasser Arafat and Gen Zia-ul-Haq. PLO did not open a diplomatic mission in TSP. Neither did Yasser Arafat attend Zia's funeral. OTOH, he came to Mrs. IG's funeral and shed tears. The Palestinians had to make up with King Hussein, who was the one to order the massacre. After all, Brig. Zia-ul-Haq was a tool. As a paid whore, Brig. Zia did whatever the client ordered to do.VikasRaina wrote:SS Ji, How is that we don't hear Palestinians making hue and cry over this massacre and Yassir Arafat was more than happy to visit TSP in later years nor any other Musalmaan ruled country raising even a pip about it ?
TSP's relationship with the other two important Muslim nations, Egypt & KSA, were strained too. Even until today, Egypt does not trust TSP.
As for no other Mussalman country, I would put it to Ummahdom condom.

That is so true, Vikas. The Arab Proverb, "Me against my brothers, me and my brothers against our father . . ." has to be always remembered when dealing with them. They may fight among themselves but when it comes to the vague Ummah concept, they unite, even without truly understanding the cause for which they united. The best strategy is to make them fight among themselves.VikasRaina wrote:This Muslim world makes no sense to me..
And yet, I would say that Yasser Araft nurtured a hatred for Gen. Zia until his death.

IIRC there was a saying amongst Palestinians about "cost of a diamond watch = a thousand Palestinian lives". King Hussein apparently personally presented a diamond watch to Mango ul-Haq for leading the 2nd Division in the Black September carnage.
Tikka Khan and the Baluchis.
Then there was Juhayman Otaibi's capture of Mecca Shareif in '79 where TSP kammandus played a major part.
Then the Bahrain agitation suppressed by imported TSP advisors.

One more reason that Pakistan's sins were whitewashed was that Pakistani military contingents have served, or have been serving, many nations in the Gulf region such as Kuwait, KSA, UAE, Jordan etc. They are into training their armed forces, manning their machines or protecting the Royalty. Now, after 1998, they even turn to the Pakistanis for the Big Fat Man. Before 1998, it was the promise of the Big Fat Man and so every one of these nations contributed money, material etc to make it happen. All in all, pretty tight linkages and everything is forgotten.

There are AFAIK quite a few marriage ties too..... going both ways. That is, ME Mard to TSP Aisha and the rare ME Aisha to (triple certified Ashraf-Prophet-Sahaba-Quraysh line) TSP Mard. The best example is the "industrial strength" RAPE (as one guru put it here) who is married to the highest echelon of Jordanian monarchy.

Pakistani family returns to India after 94 years
AHMEDABAD: Ninety-four years after migrating from India to Pakistan the Katchi family returns to Gopalpura, a village in India, hoping for a better future, Times of India reported on Monday.
Dayaram Katchi, 34, and 22 other family members return to India due to the prevailing law and order situation in Pakistan.
Katchi was a leading physician in Saghar, Sindh and ran his own practice. His family sold all their property in Pakistan and fled to Gujarat.
“Life was tough for us and other family members there. We came here on a month’s visa and have requested an extension of our visa term,” he said.
The Katchi family applied for a visa two months ago. When asked what the reason for their arrival in Gujarat was, Katchi said, “We had problems adjusting with community there and felt that the prevailing law and order situation did not seem favourable. Close to Nadiad there are a number of Kutchi businessmen and we will be safe here and live peacefully.”
“We have no plans as such and are trying to figure out some way to sustain ourselves here by doing small jobs. Things were really hard for us as a family in Pakistan. There are many Gujarati families in Sindh and most of them are businessmen,” said Dayaram Katchi.

Walmart refuses to place fresh orders with Pakistan

Walmart, one of the world’s biggest retail chains, has rejected the offer of Pakistani readymade garments manufacturers to meet fresh orders due to the law and order situation and other economic problems in the country, said Bilal Mulla, leading ready-made garments manufacturer in Pakistan. He was speaking at a meeting of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Saturday about the difficulties faced by export-oriented sectors.
Earlier this week, Walmart banned 250 Bangladeshi garment factories from producing for it. “Taking advantage of the opportunity, we contacted Walmart to divert the orders to Pakistani producers,” said Mulla, who is also Chairman of FPCCI Standing Committee on Export Trade. “But the retail chain refused, citing security issues and the energy crisis in Pakistan,” he added.
On the request of exporters, the FPCCI, which is the apex trade body of the country, arranged the meeting. Only four exporters representing three sectors attended the meeting.

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee said on Monday that a national approach needs to be adopted in resolving the power and water crisis in Karachi, Express News reported.Member of the MQM Coordination Committee Haider Abbas Rizvi alleged an artificial power crisis was being created to cover up for the fact that most of the gas reserves of Sindh were being transferred to the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).Rizvi said the financial discrepancies between Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) had occurred way in the past and could easily be resolved through better financial management. Why was gas supply being reduced in the hottest months of the year, he asked. The MQM leader said that residents of Karachi were already victims of loadshedding and were facing the now facing the resultant water shortage despite being regular tax-payers. Gen. Pervez Musharraf is believed to have returned to Pakistan after obtaining the blessings of a Turkish cleric, Shaik Nazim Al Qabrisi, leader of the Sufi Naqshbandi sect of Islam who lives in Cyprus.
Encouraging Musharraf to return to Pakistan, the Shaikh told the former military dictator, he will become ruler of all Muslims up to Delhi, but cautioned him to be careful of his enemies. The Shaikh told Musharraf "bring all Indian people under the flag of Islam," to which the general replied:
"I will always remember these words. They will be my guide for the future." Astonishing.

Pakistan Railways ready to drop bombshell on passengers
Rawalpindi : The Pakistan Railways (PR) is ready to drop a bombshell on its passengers when the new government led by Nawaz Sharif will take reigns of the country in the first week of June this year.
Credible sources told ‘The News’ here on Monday that the railway authorities have moved a summary with the federal government demanding an increase in fares by 100%. The summary has been forwarded one week back to seek the nod of the government in this regard.
CheersWhen asked whether the plan of increase in fares would be made effective after the announcement of the budget, Raja Janjua said it would be implemented immediately after approval of the summary by the government. “We are just waiting for the government’s nod,” he said. He said that the increase in train fares would help the railways in generating revenue, enabling it to overcome losses and revamp its structure. He said that there would be only 35 per cent increase in fares and not 100 per cent.

This vague concept of Ummah I guess is more prominent in "Johny come late" Muslims and they are the ones willing to be cannon fodder in the cause.
At least When I hear Paki trying to rule the world, One of the condition is that Rich Musalmaan ruled countries should share their riches with Pakis since They are one Ummah but when it comes to Bihari Muslims in BD or Uigher in Cheen, the concept of Ummah flies out of the window and socio-economic-stratgeic reasons take over.
Of course to TSPians, This ummah only consists of Sunni Muslims following evil wahabi cult while otehrs like Shia and Ahmediyas can be persecuted as long as some other rich country doesn't declare itself to be Ahmediya or Shia.
