Three terror suspects from Pakistan detained in Uttar Pradesh
: Three terror suspects from Pakistan have been detained in the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh while they were entering India from Nepal.

The three men claim they had received terror training in Pakistan and were on their way to Jammu and Kashmir to surrender.

The J&K government has an amnesty and rehabilitation scheme for men who had crossed over to Pakistan. Since 2010, when the amnesty policy was announced to rehabilitate former militants, some 1000 families have applied for return, of which 300 arrived in the hope of a fresh beginning.

Can Pakistan Avert Demographic Doom?
Young people represent, by far, Pakistan’s largest demographic. The statistics are striking: Two thirds of the country’s approximately 180 million people are not yet 30 years old, and the median age is 21. As a percentage of the total population, only Yemen has more people under 24.
so many more jihadis to counter
Little wonder youth were courted so aggressively on the campaign trail – from Imran Khan’s social media-fueled populist calls for change to Nawaz Sharif’s distribution of free laptops
Now pakis will rise to new heights of surfin ***** with free laptops and stolen wifi
Projections suggest that Pakistan’s youth bulge will remain in place for decades. The 15-to-24 age bracket is expected to rise by 20 percent in the 2020s, and the under-24 population will still be in the majority come 2030. Even by 2050, the median age is expected to be just 33.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Planning Commission (a government advisory body) has estimated that employing the country’s nearly 100-million-strong under-20 population will require 9 percent GDP growth – a highly ambitious goal given that growth is expected to top out at only 3.6 percent for the current fiscal year, and that interminable power outages are undermining growth. The Asian Development Bank recently said that such outages will cut GDP growth by 2 percent annually.

^^^^hence to avoid strengthening the hands of extremists, the government must court these Pakistani youth and to do that Pakistan needs to achieve 9% YoY GDP growth. For that to happen, the international community needs to have a big heart and loan Pakistan gobs of money with no strings attached on interest free terms and respect Pakistan's honour and dignity by allowing Pakistan to take back Kashmir, which has been illegally occupied by India, with 500 million troops who have raped 500 million Kashmiri women and children for 500 years.

Nawaz Sharif's uvacaha
On terrorism, the prime minister said the government would develop a comprehensive strategy and a national consensus in consultation will all political parties, security forces, media and the civil society in dealing with the challenge. His message moreover said that at the same time, it was imperative to address the external dimension of terrorism.
If he is going to consult so many of them, this is not going to work. In any case, no one is expecting Nawaz Sharif to act against the jihadists because he is one with them, like any other Pakistani.

SSridhar Ji,

Despite the so-called “Awakening” whereby after the latest Election in Pakistan the Elected Executive will – and I say seemingly – be in “Command”. However as per my Post of 06 Jun 2013 02:23 on the previous Page Kiss Nay Billy Mari – Kiya Nahin Nay! Kiyani and his Ilk in the Pakistani Army are not going to relinquish the longstanding Control of Pakistan.

So Mon Ami “Plus Ça Change, Plus C'est la Même Chose”!

PeeM outlines foreign policy in broad strokes

http://dawn.com/2013/06/06/nawaz-outlin ... d-strokes/
ISLAMABAD: Newly-elected Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday outlined the priorities of his government’s foreign policy, stressing immediate attention on Pakistan’s neighbouring countries.
In a message for all heads of Pakistan’s missions, the prime minister said a policy of an Afghan-led, Afghan-owned process of peace and reconciliation would be pursued by Pakistan.“Unless the region is peaceful, our efforts for growth and development will not meet with success. I stress on the importance of developing regional consensus on supporting a stable government and peace in Afghanistan,” said Sharif. With India, the prime minister stressed upon the need to progressively pursue normalcy in bilateral relations, while actively seeking solutions for all outstanding issues, including the disputed Jammu & Kashmir region. On relations with the US, Sharif noted that the two countries have many areas of common interest. “We will build on convergence and wherever there is divergence, we will work to try to minimise and remove such divergence.”“With China, which has always been a great friend and a significant economic partner, Pakistan will strengthen this valuable and much appreciated strategic relationship.”With Russia, which is an important partner and regional power, we shall continue to enhance ties, the prime minister’s message said.
The prime minister stated that the people of Pakistan had pronounced themselves clearly on the future direction that the country should take. The premier noted that Pakistan’s large, youthful population’s potential needed to be harnessed for the country’s development. The message further stated that the core of the country’s internal strength lay in sustained economic growth, resulting in the overall well-being, progress and prosperity of the people of Pakistan. It added that Pakistan’s diplomatic missions had a pivotal role in advancing this central objective of the national agenda.
The prime minister directed the missions to aggressively pursue economic diplomacy –promotion of Pakistan’s interests in the realms of trade, foreign investment, and economic cooperation.
Effective economic diplomacy would require a synergistic relationship between the diplomatic missions and relevant stakeholders in Pakistan, including the ministries as well as the business community at large. The economic ministries and department must provide the requisite information and backup support needed by the missions to undertake practical steps for facilitating traders and current and prospective investors at both ends.
Stressing the importance of science, technology and education, the prime minister also directed the missions to actively reach out to institutions and the private sector in search of technologies and know-how in order to develop institutional linkages between the country’s research and educational centres with those abroad. (Photochoring again)He expressed the desire to strengthen relations with countries in the Middle East, adding that Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran were friendly countries with which Pakistan would continue to pursue close cooperative relations. The prime minister’s message added that despite its recent economic troubles, Europe remained an important player on the global scene and was Pakistan’s largest trading partner.“We would continue to engage with European countries, both bilaterally with individual countries, as well as multilaterally with the European Union.”

On terrorism, the prime minister said the government would develop a comprehensive strategy and a national consensus in consultation will all political parties, security forces, media and the civil society in dealing with the challenge. His message moreover said that at the same time, it was imperative to address the external dimension of terrorism.“This would require plugging the sources of external funding of various extremist groups besides seeking cooperation of the regional and global community,” the premier’s message said.Prime Minister Sharif directed that one of the main tasks of Pakistan’s embassies would be to look after the increasingly large number of Pakistanis living abroad who were an asset for Pakistan. He directed the embassies to provide efficient consular services and protect the interests of overseas Pakistanis. He moreover directed the missions to make concerted efforts to project Pakistan’s positive image abroad and promote the country’s historical heritage, music, arts, culture and cuisine. :rotfl:

The time to trust Pakistan is long gone IDR
Nawaz Sharif set media wires buzzing when he proclaimed soon after the results were announced in Pakistan’s elections to its parliament last month. Among two statements that stood out were (a) his aim to make peace with the terrorist outfits in Pakistan, and (b) to make peace with India. The two statements are inherently contradictory for India and immensely illogical from the Indian perspective.
While Sharif may well make peace with the terrorists, the trouble is that the terrorists are unlikely to make peace with India. Thus, India would supposedly be at peace with a neighbor whose sentiments are absolutely anti-Indian, and which, in turn, has a filial relationship with the terrorist outfits that haunt India.
it is impossible for India to be friends with a nation that covertly supports those who would attack India’s Parliament, upset the peace in Indian states, launch attacks such as 26/11, and so on, uninterruptedly for 66 years.
There is inherent double-speak in any Pakistani overture to India. Pakistan was born out of hatred for India, and till today harbors intense hatred. How can anyone expect India not to take cognizance of this, or to trust Pakistan when it spews hatred for Indians on a daily basis?
Every day, the Pakistani army justifies its existence to the Pakistani public because of an Indian military threat at their border. They conveniently forget that they, too, threaten India.
They probably don’t realize they are likely to get what they fear most. In essence, the Pakistan military has maneuvered successfully to gain a place in the Pakistani psyche, with fear and hatred of India being the sole rallying point. At every turn, they make their Pakistani people feel more and more victimized at the hand of secular India. The Pakistani military doesn’t want to let that wound heal among their Pakistani public, because if they do, it will be their end, for they fear loss of respect on that count.
Thus, India would be naive to trust any leader of Pakistan. But, one thing India can surely trust in is in the naivety of the Indian government for more times than not. Any Indian government or bureaucrat or group of people that wants India to pull back from Siachen, for instance, are simply out of their real mind!
Nawaz Sharif hopes to perpetuate the cloak-in-dagger game and diplomacy, and continue to make a sucker of India once again. His feigns of credibility and genuineness are not believable
But in India, there is no shortage of brilliant fools, especially at top leadership levels, many of who have never held a gun, though no matter how educated, such that they are decidedly taken for a ride very predictably by smooth-talking enemies.
It is further astounding of the enormous instances in history where Islamic armies have sworn on the Quran to not attack or take any particular action, and yet violated their word. In plain historical light is the time during the siege of Anandpur Sahib in December 1705 when the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb himself swore on the Quran not to attack Guru Gobind Singh if he left Anandpur Sahib, and give him safe passage, as well, only to pursue the Guru with his armies thereafter[3].
However, it is amazing how short a memory the Indian leaders have, in that they jump in hope each time Pakistan offers an olive branch. The actions of leaders must be informed by the vast decades and centuries of behavior, but that is definitely not so in India. In contrast, the Pakistani leadership keeps a long view of the day their Islamic armies will stomp over India.
The stars, events, and tea leaves are telling the same thing over and over again: the destiny of Pakistan vis-à-vis India will be decided on the battle field, once and for all, sooner or later. No conversing or negotiating or peace overtures will ever be successful between India and Pakistan, even if mediated by the USA. Reconciliation is much too difficult, but likely that it is genetically incompatible. India and Pakistan are both preparing for a war – one to vent their hatred against Indians – and the other to restore its honor for a thousand years of oppression. The real balance of power in the region, and complete stability, will only materialize once the battlefield outcome is clear.
If India does not realize it, let India also wake up: the destiny of India vis-à-vis Pakistan will necessarily be decided on the spatial battle field, once and for all, across the entire border, in a full-scale war. The sooner the Indian establishment realizes this, the better it is for India. Thus, the time for India to sleep is also long gone. But while it might be good for Pakistan if it let India sleep, Pakistan itself keeps ringing the alarm for India to wake up.

India may not want war, but war will be thrust on India. To take advantage of the next big military event, India must therefore be the first to attack Pakistan this time with a very severe and sudden blow, notwithstanding its current soft policies. There is now a moral justness in this. And, in fact, there is moral depravity in not fighting to crush evil when you should. Lord Krishna’s sermon to Arjun was all about taking up arms when the call to duty arrives to fight evil. India will be fighting not for conquest or pleasure, but for peace, honor, and survival. Pakistan has harassed India for much too long, affected its economic rise, and India now stands provoked. There is no peace with Pakistan unless Pakistan is fully finished. Sharif’s “peace” talk is just that – plain talk – and talk is cheap. History shows that Pakistan’s assurances and words cannot be taken seriously, and thus not be given any admission. The real peace on the sub-continent will come only when Pakistan’s teeth are pulled and its tentacles to terrorist outfits are cut. Regrettably, there is no peace till so long as Pakistan is a sovereign nation, and let no one in any country – including USA — be in any doubt about that.

NS can say whatever he wants but in reality how much the state of TSP controls the TSP Govt.
Jehadis are owned by PA while ordinary folks are owned by Mullahs. He can't turn off the tap of terrorists crossing into India or Afghanistan.
He has no money to improve the lot of ordinary Abdul nor has intentions. He may talk big but in the end he is just an extension of long line of Paki rulers who want to unfurl green flag on Red fort and bleed India through thousand cuts.

Since Nawaz has done such a great deal to improve India-Pakistan relationship since yesterday when he assumed office, India should reciprocate given his long and glorious record of statements of friendship with India which stretches back to almost 20 hours now.

I am not sure if Pakistan will accept the free gas from India though. They are too proud, and will only take it after we give them Kashmir. We should do more.

Terror training camps in Muridke are reporting serious shortages of electricity and gas. It would be a great confidence building measure with Pakistan if we can alleviate some of their difficulties. Also since Nawaz has only assumed power recently, it would be nice if we dont embarrass him by asking what happened to the court case of Mumbai attackers. That will only vitiate the atmosphere.

We should realize that Pakistan trained terrorists kill Pakistanis too. Especially when they are unable to kill Indians. Pakistanis are the bigger victims here.

Pakistani musicians write long songs with broad rhythms on bright subjects with tight endings. Indian songs tend to be shorter with darker themes, usually celebrating harvest occasion of crops and grains like rice.

Pakistani songs are usually long and painful, often excruciatingly painful and have a lot of stress and strains and twists and turns in them, a direct product of the low in fibre and high in meat diet that ensures that most Pakistanis spend a lot of their time in Pakistan pondering over lyrics of their songs

indian musicians focus not only on dark themes, but are very narrow in outloook and dwell on involuntary reaction to the cold in flimsy cotton lower garments. one stout blow of the horn and they sing about running. sometimes in pakistani music green djinns appear and create sounds like camels - this is not seen in indian music. also it takes 10 indian musicians to create the same sound as 1 pakistani musician, who will often swell his veins like a jaguar, reaching way into his core to issue forth sound

However when it comes to the cry of painful anguish while sitting in Pakhanistan,
Pakistani male singers cry openly in a mard like zubaan (with grunts and guttural sounds) , unlike the weak effeminate voice generally found on Indian male singers .
Pakistan has the best talent when it comes to male singers. But you have to respect the female singers too, such as Lata Mageshkar, that India has produced - Singer Javed Bashir

VikasRaina, permit me to slightly alter the above replacing 'PA' with 'Establishment'. The Establishment is a slighly larger entity than the PA, as we all know. The PA owns the LeT (at least until so far) while the three other jihadi/terrorist/sectarian organizations, Sipah-e-Sahba Pakistan (SSP, known these days as Ahl-e-Sunnat-Wal-Jama'at or ASWJ), Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LJ) and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are used by the 'Establishment'. The PA has also co-opted SSP/LJ in certain areas in Balochistan. Of course, they have used the good Taliban too. Even the bad Taliban came to be handy for the PA in one or two instances.

Well,
The paki singer bashir is venting his frustration.
1. He and all and sundry know that Pakistan is in Pakhistan, poor and has NO music and film industry, while india has one of the largest, richest film industries in the world.
2. Poor Pakistani has to do with scrappings and left overs, seriously 5 effing songs in as many years!
Indian singers would have 40-50 + songs (and crores) in that duration.

This theme of the poor and impoverished, underdeveloped people claiming they are the best in the world is a very common one. The Pakistanis have claimed from time to time that they are world beaters in this or that field. But the reality is that they are not good in any field, lack dedication, they make up for it with lies and bluster. The only thing they are good at is Terrorism - which is now culturally ingrained in that society.

Reported in daily Islam, BBC Urdu is an enemy of Islam and Pakistan. It violated the Pakistani constitution by using the term Ahmadi Muslims for Ahmadi Kafirs, and the name Rabwah for the city Chenabnagar. Pakistan should protest against the ‘Biased Broadcasting Corporation’.

Apathy towards history
NOT many in Pakistan appreciate history, and this attitude has resulted in the neglect of our historical heritage
There is a general lack of interest in — and perhaps even disdain for — the past.
In a rather bizarre example of ad hoc measures, for example, apparently cleaning staff were deputed to look after the museum’s relics in the absence of technically trained staff
Historical heritage starts from bin qasim forays. Before that there was jahiliyat.

The last part makes sense. Cleaning staff = "shooders" and Christians who were originally "shooders" and are now treated worse. besides, no pious paki will touch those jahil idols.

Gwadar to Kashgar

“China will be gaining virtual control of the Indian Ocean and the energy and trade corridor from the Gulf,” Puri said. He said China’s plans also provide a trade opportunity to Pakistan, as the northern neighbour will be the next big consumer market for Pakistani products in the coming years.
I guess the Chinese can now expect to be beneficiaries of Pakistan's top export product - IT!
