Good. So there are hopes of a BJP revival (we don't know which fashion it will be) in AP. Let us see. This is the right start to revive. In AP you always need to start will industrialists and businessmen (movie is business) and then party suddenly start to show it is serious. Later coerce a party to be in alliance and then the state is back in the game.

Wow, goosebumps seeing the reception NaMo is getting! Apparently the stadium is full with more than 1 lakh people and huge crowd outside diverted to another ground where there are big screens.
Hope all this translates to a groundswell for the next election.

Moi made an exception and left office for home today.... normally love the office on weekends - so empty and work-friendly it is.

Anyway, most hindi noose news channels are showing snippets and following up with reporters on the ground every few minutes.

The stadium view is awesome. Namawesome. Its jam-packed. Every square foot covered. I hope and pray it goes off peacefully without any disruption.

Exactly.
a) There are too many expectations riding on him already, in a nation of more than 1 billion souls.
b) People want simple solutions/explanations for the most complex problems and they want it quick.
c) Modi already has too many enemies and that includes the current Indian system, condition of the institutions, corruption etc.

Point being .. it took the man three consecutive terms to clean up and tidy the state of Gujarat. He sure needs more than one term to repeat that for entire India.
We would be the most immature and loose nerved democracy if we gave him just once chance, that too after giving two to the Khangress goons.

It is important to remember this practical perspective, amidst all the Modinama hurrah.
