BRAVOOO! This man has guts to call spade a spade. We don't know who is No.2 in BJP currently but I think this man is a deserving candidate. I know he is a muhajir in BJP but still, I love his clarity of thoughts. And I believe RSS top brass also likes him.krishnan wrote:

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
RM bhai,
I know where you come from regarding giving up of hindutva by BJP leaders, including Modi. But please understand that he is a national leader now and he cannot talk about those things for obvious reasons. In fact his ambition for top post has prevented him from doing that even as a CM. And I don't blame him for that, in fact I support him for making all these smart moves in is political career. That is the only way he could have got here where we need him badly and urgently. A single step on wrong direction would have meant an end of his career. Even as PM he will not touch topics that you want him to touch. But that doesn't mean he will not create a conducive environment for doing those things for other like minded. Unfortunately that is the only way to do those things. And BTW, the nation needs the stuffs which NM talks about more urgently than the stuffs you are talking about. Please understand.
The type of leader that you are talking about will not work in most of the states. But they might work in the states like WB, AP and KL. JMTC.

The RBI is working with the central gov to get the gold. It will be melted down and stored in a vault. The other temples better get some allies to help protect their assets.

Raj Thackeray all set to join NDA?: India TV
Earlier I heard the seats are from BJP's quota!New Delhi: According to reports emanating from Maharashtra, Raj Thackeray led MNS may join hands with NDA in upcoming general elections in 2014. It will be a combination of BJP, Shiv Sena and MNS that will take on the Congress-NCP alliance.
The revelation has come from the BJP side. In fact, Manobhav Tripathy, the member of Maharashtra core committee of BJP, has disclosed this in one of his Facebook posts.
According to Tripathy, MNS will be included in the NDA on the condition that MNS leaders will not make statements against either the north Indians or the Shiv Sena and that the announcement to this effect will be made soon.
What is interesting is the fact that Tripathy’s FB post talks about allotting seats to MNS from Shiv Sena quota.
Tripathy’s post has appeared on FB on October 18 and no BJP leader has denied it despite the fact that many senior BJP leaders are connected with Tripathy on FB.
The report also gets credence from the fact that Raj Thackeray enjoys cordial relations with Narendra Modi. In fact, he was the first person to term Modi as ‘PM material’.
Since Modi is leaving no stone unturned in his quest for the top job in 2014, MNS is seen as becoming the major roadblock for NDA in Maharashtra as it is supposed to cut into traditional BJP-Shiv Sena vote bank that will only benefit the Congress-NCP alliance.
The only hiccup is – will Uddhav Thackeray easily agree for this alliance and will he be game for sparing seats to MNS from Shiv Sena quota?
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
From bjp quota as per the discussions so far. Heard from known sources from MNS.

They can't touch the Kerala gold for sure, it will create a huge backlash. The value of the jewellery craftsmanship/antiquity itself will raise the value by many times..

If Supreme judges are given a portion of gold, then they would merrily allow RBI to break all laws and take over all temple golds.
Solution I propose is that
(a) we should order MPs via SMS to expel Raghuram Ghazani.
(b)And then we should give newspaper advt to request all 80 crore voters to should order MPs via SMS to expel Raghuram Ghazani.

Now 4 of the 5 States in which BJP is contesting BJP has CM candidates:
Madhya Pradesh: Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Chattisgarh: Dr Raman Singh
Rajasthan: Vasundara Raje
Delhi: Dr. Harsh Vardhan
In all 4 states, Congress is going to lose to BJP.
________
For Lok Sabha 2014,
Modi has to fix the alliances in several states:
- Karnataka (KJP)
- Maharashtra (MNS)
- Haryana (INLD)
- Jharkhand (JVM)
- Andhra Pradesh (TDP)
- Assam (AGP)
Except for Jharkhand, I think Modi would be able to fix the other mergers and alliances.

Make KJP an NDA ally, Yeddyurappa writes to Advani
Naheed Ataulla, TNN Oct 19, 2013, 08.53PM IST
BANGALORE: Former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa on Saturday put the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in a bind with a request that his Karnataka Janata Paksha (KJP) be made its ally.
In a brief letter to NDA chairman LK Advani, he said: "We request you to consider us as an alliance party of NDA and involve us in all its deliberations by inviting the KJP to its meetings." Copies of the letter were sent to BJP's top leaders Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Nitin Gadkari.
Though Yeddyurappa's request to come on board the NDA is not new, it brings to a halt, efforts being made by a section of the state BJP unit to convince the central leadership to readmit him into the party.
The team met party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, with whom Yeddyurappa has a good equation, to expedite the matter. In the BJP camp, it was almost certain that Yeddyurappa's re-entry was a matter of time, perhaps during Modi's visit to Bangalore in November.
In the letter, Yeddyurappa said that the KJP took the decision to support NDA and make Modi the PM at its executive committee meeting on September 19. To buttress his claim to be an ally, he said the KJP won six seats in the assembly elections, securing 10% of the total valid votes polled. The Election Commission had also recognized KJP as a regional party.
It is learnt that National People's Party president PS Sangma and Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy met Yeddyurappa and reportedly asked him to retain an identity of his own by keeping the KJP alive. The letter to Advani was drafted after Swamy's meeting with Yeddyurappa on Saturday morning in Bangalore.
BJP sources in New Delhi said "talks on alliances are not done by shooting off letters, there has to be a process". They added, "Advani will have to consult the party's national president and take the views of the parliamentary board. The letter only shows Yeddyurappa's desperation as his party is divided over returning to BJP."
Sources in Yeddyurappa's camp said: "If Advani rejects Yeddyurappa's request, the same thing will have to be done to many others like former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala who also wants to be part of NDA." Chautala, who heads the Indian National Lok Dal, is serving a jail term in the teachers' recruitment scam.
When contacted, former CM DV Sadananda Gowda said he met Modi and other leaders to end the confusion over whether Yeddyurappa would come into the party or be an alliance partner. "The state BJP's core committee has no objection to Yeddyurappa's return or be part of NDA. But a decision has to be taken so that the state BJP can go ahead with its organizational work," he added.

This is an extreme remedy, Rahul-ji. Just going to the Corporation ward office and submitting an application to add the name back should be more than sufficient. Last time, they removed my mum's name, and she added it right back, by simply submitting an application to re-insert her name at the Corporation ward office.Rahul M wrote:this is likely deliberate. consult a lawyer, submit a PIL. contact other pol parties. no need to take this lying down.Pratyush wrote:Delhi EC deploys special teams to weed out bogus voters

Apparently C-voter maybe correct, congress is in trouble in haryana and BJP's graph is up. But INLD is doing well too and sushma just opened her mouth today morning to say that bjp will stay with HJC.

OK, so getting ready for Jhansi:
Modi's hoarding becomes talk of the town
Tuesday, 22 October 2013 | PNS | Lucknow | in Lucknow
A hoarding at the main crossing of Jhansi has become the talk of the town. It carries a picture of Narendra Modi with a message "Main aa raha hun (I am coming)". This innovative billboard is the announcement of BJP Prime Ministerial candidate’s public meeting in this Bundelkhand city on October 25.
"As Modi is communicative during his speech so is his hoarding. He is making an announcement "Main aa raha hun" and then asks "aap aayenge na" (will you come!)", BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
He said this Narendra Modi hoarding has aroused interest of people in Jhansi and has already become the talk of the town as many of them coming there just to see the billboard.
The hoarding has Narendra Modi’s picture and a countdown watch saying how many days, hours and minutes left for the rally.
The hoarding put up by one Ravi Sharma shows the confidence Modi’s Kanpur rally has given to the BJP workers. They are all geared up for another show of strength when party workers from seven Bundelkhand districts would be expected to come down to GIC Grounds to listen to Modi Senior party leaders have started a series of meetings to make Modi’s this rally another success. This region has only three BJP legislators. The list includes Uma Bharati who won election from Charkhari in 2012 assembly polls. She missed the Kanpur rally but is expected to share dais with Modi in Jhansi.
"The massive crowd in Kanpur has thrown a big challenge for us. Now, we will have to make Jhansi rally bigger and better than Kanpur. It would not be difficult as there is Modi wave all round the country. Not only party workers even the common man on the streets want to come and listen to Modi. This is a very big success for us as BJP has been able to connect with the aam aadmi on the street," BJP state president Lakshmi Kant Bajpai said.
He however refuses to give the number. "It would be big. Even bigger than Kanpur rally," he said.
