Re SGupta, don't take anything he says at face value. Guy has a habit of cooking up interviews with ppl who are departed and conveniently cannot rebut his claims. PVNR, Vajpayee all of them said stuff only to him, and in strict confidence and all, you see..
I just hope Modi after he comes to power goes after all these corrupt frauds and sets them to rights. And that so called Cobrapost is none other than Tehelka 2, run by Bahal from Tehelka, another leftist INC acolyte

Must be true, shivpal sin yadav is saying so after all... :((

Mulayam's brother Shivpal says 'Modi-wodi' won't work in UP

And here's some background context for that brahmagyan...
The Narendra Modi rally to be held in Agra on November 21 is expected to be the biggest in the history of Modi rallies held till date, says Purushottam Khandelwal, convener of the rally.

Talking to India Today, senior BJP leader Khandelwal said that this rally will break all records in terms of attendance and grandeur. The party has made the rally's success its top priority at this stage.

However, while the BJP is working hard for the success of the rally, the Samajwadi Party is working hard to appear calm in the face of the Modi storm that will surely wreak havoc on the party's stronghold Agra.

So sunday (tomorrow) in namma bengaluru and then in Agra... bring it on, moi says...

Telling Congress that the sick Sonia Gandhi should let Rahul take over, is a genius masterstroke.

But the Congress spin-meisters are already twisting Modi's speech to claim he ridiculed Sonia's illness - and that would not go down well with most Indians.

Modi should stress that he is NOT ridiculing Sonia's illness and would never ridicule the ill - but that he is most certainly ridiculing the dynastic rule that the Nehru-Gandhis have inflicted on the country.

So, I would say - the turn over the last few days presents both a threat and an opportunity for the BJP. They need to play their cards well.

jogi is finally reduced to this

EC notice to Ajit Jogi

The former Chhattisgarh chief minister, while addressing tribals said, people will get “an electric shock” from EVMs if they press any button other than that of Congress

Returning officer of Kunkuri Assembly constituency in Chhattisgarh has served a notice on senior Congress leader and former chief minister Ajit Jogi for allegedly violating the poll code by misleading tribal voters over functioning of EVMs when they cast their vote.

BJP had filed a complaint against Mr. Jogi in this regard.

According to election officials, addressing a public meeting in Kunkuri constituency of Jashpur district on November 11, Mr. Jogi had said people will suffer an electric shock if they press buttons on EVMs, other than that of the Congress candidate in the fray, while exercising their franchise.

BJP has accused Mr. Jogi of threatening the electorate to vote in favour of the Congress candidate contesting from the seat by making the remarks, said Collector and District Election Officer L.S. Ken.

“BJP in its complaint stated that while addressing people, Mr. Jogi asked them to press the button bearing punja chhap (the Congress symbol of hand) on EVMs. He told them that they will receive an electric shock if they press buttons next to other symbols on EVMs except that of Congress,” the collector added.

The notice was issued to Mr. Jogi on Tuesday by Returning Officer BP Mourya after verifying the videography of the programme, seeking his reply in this connection, Ken said.

He said future course of action would depend upon Mr. Jogi’s reply.

Kunkuri seat will be going to polls in the second and final phase on November 19.

Arnab Goswamy is now equating BJP and Congress. He is also showing termite qween and NM as the same. He does not put Vinod Mehtha and that "Lord" Desai (what business he has in India we do not know) and they also equate MP rule with places like AP and Haryana. Huge agricultural growth figures and other figures are not even allowed to be spoken. I think now Arnab is being told to be "equal" to Mafia queen and Modi.

Perhaps this is because I live in modi-land, but no matter whom I talk, everyone want severest punishment for dynasty, MMS, media, corrupt babus and likes. They have utmost confidence on NM that he will do exactly that. People are openly advocating the policies and punishments which will definitely pass as 'Talibani Extremism' as per BRF standard. At minimum they want dynasty to spend their rest of life in jail, ALL terrorists to be butchered, pak to be destroyed and china to be shown its place. This is something that scares me because I fear modi couldn't live upto their expectation. But at least it shows the amount of disgust among the people. I think that the feeling is the same across India otherwise people wouldn't enqueue on the road from where NM was passing in hyd, lakhs of people would not gather to listen him in UP, people would flee away after knowing about the bomb blasts in patna and we wouldn't hear the cheers of modi-modi-modi while they saw pappu on screen in Wankhede.

BTW, everyone love the word 'shehzade' :) and get goosebump when NM speaks that word in his own inimitable style. Absolutely NO ONE gives two hoot about decency in language while criticizing the dynasty. All think that it is sheer hypocracy to expect decency from NM while they have committed atrocious crimes against country. These are all common people who are not much into politics otherwise and have no (or very less) sanghi background.

Indeed. In a way this has become the "Miyan Musharraf" of 2002. In that campaign when he addressed a small gathering of Tamils in his constituency starting off with Vanakkam, he started a 'controlled' speech (keeping in mind that most of the audience were also professionals). But after a while they practically interrupted him and wanted fireworks and "Miyan Mushaarraf" He had to oblige!

Today I guess if he does not say Shehzade in any speech the audience may find the speech boring and will become discussion point in English Media - "Has Modi bowed to popular sentiment and commenced an image makeover in his speeches?"

A good article on how NM is short-circuiting the license raj that feeds the c-system leviathan...

Modi & License Raj: License to Liberty?

The example given is eye-opening... excerpt:
The case of Boiler Inspectors

As per media reports, Boilers are used widely in industry and Boilers Act (1923) was formulated during British rule to ensure safety of boiler users. The Act encouraged corruption, as it gave the entire power to inspectors, starting from shutting down a unit for inspection to appointing agencies for repair and maintenance work of boilers. In fact, some industrial units, to avoid inspection, resorted to using boilers with capacities below the regulatory limit, which led to inefficiency in terms of energy consumption and safety hazards. Sounds familiar, a license raj which increases corruption and runs counter productive to its bleeding heart objective of increasing safety (a fate shared by RTE, NREGA, FSB & LAA).

Gujarat was the only state in the country which abolished boiler inspectors’ power on the state level in February 2007 and allowed any third party accredited inspector to inspect and certify the boilers for safety. Result: A minimal, lesser corrupt and safer state.

The situation where India has around 70,000 registered boilers and only 250 boiler inspectors leading to shortage of inspectors and frequent closure of plants for long durations was avoided. Not only this, the Gujarat state retrained & reskilled all its old inspectors from boiler inspection to energy efficiency experts. Now where once the industry used to dread them, they actually hire them to save costs and state gets additional revenue. A brilliant win-win if there ever was. The case of boiler amply illustrates that Modi has walked the talk on maximum governance and minimum government through innovative ideas, perseverance and by involving people.

^^^ Namo had spoken about this in one of his speeches, iirc in the one organized by headlines today group. He gave a very animated display of how a boiler inspector inspects a boiler by only looking up and down.

====== end of article ===

Well, such safety rules are there across USA and Europe since WW1. And safety rules in USA and Europe are far far more stringent than India\Gujarat. But there is near zero corruption there. eg in USA, one can get pollution certificate from Govt run shops as well as private shops. I got my inspection done at Govt shop. There was zero corruption. He found 2-3 faults, I fixed them, and then they cleared it. Likewise, many towns have township employees do variety of safety checks such as lift inspection, fire safety inspection etc etc. I havent heard of any corruption there. Why? (a) because they have Jury System , and Jury imprisons the bribe-seeking officials and so officers do the job and yet dont dare to ask for bribes. (b) And another reason why safety is high in USA etc is because in case accidents happen, the Jury imposes neck-breaking fines. In India, safety is poor because when accidents happen, the judges take bribes and impose minimal fines.

My point is --- there are other options too and may be better options. The above article tries to create two FALSE images (1) rules cause corruption --- they dont , corruption is ONLY because courts DO NOT punish corrupt officials (2) NaMo is only option left for us Indians to salvage us from corrupt babudom, which is again false ; there are other options , like Jury System, narco-tests in public in corruption cases etc etc

The article talks about NaMo removing "boiler inspection" rule and thus reducing corruption in factories. I want all to notice that article writer is silent on other fronts like corruption in policemen, lower courts judges (lower courts come under state govt), municipal dept to get plan passed , sales tax dept , traffic dept etc in Gujarat. Why the silence? IOW, spare few areas, in most areas corruption is more or less same. Its just that now people are used to it and no longer complaint about it.

This "remove the rules" to reduce corruption is anyway a WRONG approach and doesnt go far. One can reduce useless laws like VAT, Excise etc and replace by less bribe-rpone laws like wealth tax, inheritance tax etc but beyond a point one cannot remove laws and discretionary powers of babu. The solution is in letting babu have discretionary powers and create fear in his mind that if he doesnt act timely and/or tries to extract bribe, he will suffer dearly in prison. Thats is what West has achieved WITHOUT neta-pujan. And thats what we need to achieve, that too without neta-pujan. But all this is water on stone on any neta-pujak.

NaMo has been least bad CM. But this article-writer goes 100 steps ahead and shows "get NaMo, we need no good law-drafts" !! Such talk is driving away activists from doing REAL work of improving laws and is damaging India big time.

There is a strategy behind that.

CON MAFIA is putting a lot of pressure on Sachin to campaign for them: using his ENglish mother-in-law,Rajyasabha seat, Bharat Ratna, press releases about his campaign and now PAPPU attending the match.

Don't underestimate the ITALIAN MAFIA. She is worse than DRACULA

I think ITALIAN MAFIA decided on one thing. It is better to finish off Modi now than risk him becoming PM.

Not just ITALIAN MAFIA but PAID MEDIA, Libtards, COMMIES and all ISI helpers who are now part of Govt.

Too much exposure. CBI, tehelka, NDTV,IBN,NAC,Naxals all links are so open and so much collaboration. All stands to to be exposed.

Hmmm. Don't know much about CNR Rao so asked wiki auntie and found the following.

He has been accused of indulging and allowing plagiarism. In December 2011, C. N. R. Rao apologized to 'Advanced Materials'[7][8] – a peer-reviewed journal, for reproducing text of other scientists in his research paper.[9] His collaborator and the other senior author of the paper Prof. S. B. Krupanidhi accused a co-author PhD student at IISc for the mistake, “These sentences were part of the introduction of the paper, which was written by our student, that neither of us (namely, the senior authors, Rao and Krupanidhi) paid attention to”.

The PhD student took the responsibility for the incident and issued an apology.[10][11] Later C.N.R. Rao offered to withdraw the article from the journal, but the editor let the publication stay as it is.

He must have some links with congis also. Can anyone tell about his background?

CNR Rao is hardly political. That plagiarism controversy was a storm in a teacup fanned by sensationalist ddm not knowing the worth of the man.
He is simply one of the best scientific minds we have in our country .And is acknowledged as one of the best world wide in the material science field..

CNR Rao is an ncert wallah..would be surprised with con links..

>>these sentences were part of the introduction of the paper, which was written by our student, that neither of us (namely, the senior authors, Rao and Krupanidhi) paid attention

this happens frequently in India ..and to be truthful even elsewhere..i co-authored a paper with a friend of mine when I was an mbbs student in India...while writing literature review we copy pasted some stuff.. the article and research was otherwise genuine...we perhaps thought of changing the language later on..but we forgot...

i realised it 6 months after it was published in an high impact factor firangi journal that 6 sentences were copied verbatim from some review article.. upon scratching my head a bit i remembered that we were supposed to change those sentences...thankfully no one else caught us..

i avoided mentioning that publication in my resume when i applied for residency in massa..when i applied for fellowship i put it in my resume as i had 20+ papers by then..no one would bothe going through the bottom of the list..

CNR Rao is not remotely political, Kapil-ji. I know him quite well, through my dad. CNR was, at one time, picked by Rajiv Gandhi for upgrading scientific institutions, and he did a good job (at least, as far as IISc is concerned). He, however, was not picked by the subsequent PVN government, and he has sort of semi-retired into his domains in JNC. The man is nearly 80 now, but he is still spry as a squirrel. He is a very good scientist.

Pradeep Sharma Writ Petition

Copy of the Writ Petition filed by Mr. Pradeep Sharma IAS before the Honourable Supreme Court of India

The whole petition is 100s of pages, and I didnt read it. But an anti-NaMo Facebook group has following excerpts from IAS Officer Mr. Pradeep Sharma’s affidavit:

THE CHIEF MINISTER’S ILLICIT LIASON WITH MS MANSI SONI:

It was in between 2003 to 2006 that the Petitioner, in the capacity of District Collector of Kutch, commissioned a series of projects toward the beautification of Bhuj city and overall development of Kutch district. A site was selected for developing a hill garden in 2005, for which Ms. Mansi Soni from Bangalore was selected as the Landscape Architect. The Chief Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, visited Kutch to inaugurate the hill garden project upon its completion, and was at this time introduced to Ms. Soni. Thereafter, Ms. Soni communicated to the Petitioner her decision to return to Bangalore as well as shared her ongoing interaction with the Chief Minister. The fact of the intimacy between Shri Modi and Ms. Soni was confirmed when the Petitioner was in close proximity of the two and overheard their conversation during one of the official functions. Subsequently, Ms. Soni further revealed to the Petitioner that when she called Shri Modi in his office, he would freely interrupt scheduled meetings, walking out of his office on senior officials in order to speak to her privately.

During the second week of March 2006 at approximately 5:00 PM, Ms. Soni called the Petitioner and conveyed that she had just landed in Ahmedabad city and was planning to visit Bhuj. Shortly thereafter, when the Petitioner attempted to telephone her, Ms. Soni’s cell phone was switched off and remained so for the next 48 hours. Two days later at approximately 11:00 AM, Ms. Soni called the Petitioner and conveyed that she was at the residence of Shri Modi, and had spent the duration of the previous two days at his residence. Subsequently, she met the Petitioner in Bhuj and described in detail her stay with Shri Modi.

Ms. Soni described that the next day being Holi, many people visited Shri Modi for the festival and played with colour. Shri Modi attended to them briefly and returned to his quarters. In the meantime, Ms. Soni had developed fever and requested a physician, but Shri Modi conveyed that calling a physician was impossible, given the peculiarity of their situation. The following morning she left for Vadodara in a car sent for by Shri Modi.

In November 2008, while the Petitioner was posted as Municipal Commissioner, Bhavnagar, Ms. Soni contacted the Petitioner to inform him that Shri Modi had asked her to do a project on Alang Shipyard for which she would like to come to Bhavnagar. She came to Bhavnagar and, during that time, the Petitioner observed that she was constantly in touch with Shri Modi, who was abroad and probably in South Africa. She also conveyed to the Petitioner that Shri Modi had asked her about the Petitioner and whether the Petitioner knew about her intimate relationship with Shri Modi. In one conversation, Ms. Soni showed the Petitioner a text message that the Chief Minister had sent to her from abroad. The Petitioner made a note of the cell phone number from which it had originated. The number was 9909923400.

It is submitted that the Petitioner had two cell phones at the time, with Nos. 99251 99799 and 98240 01729. On one of these, the Petitioner had saved the aforesaid number from which Ms. Soni had received personal message from Shri Modi. Once, the Petitioner accidentally dialed Shri Modi’s number, thinking that he was actually calling someone else, but the Petitioner got no reply on Shri Modi’s phone. The Petitioner realized his mistake and promptly disconnected. The Petitioner verily believes that Shri Modi must have found out the address of the holder of the SIM card from which his personal number was [accidentally] dialed, and placed it under observation either with the help of State CID (Intelligence) or illegal phone tapping methods involving the use of electronic equipment through unauthorized collaboration. Shri Modi could then have found that Ms. Soni was speaking to the Petitioner often over phone.

Around this time, the Petitioner received an anonymous letter conveying that a video of sexual activity between Ms. Soni and one person, was available on an internet website, and the letter advised the Petitioner to desist from contacting Ms. Soni, as her character and actions were not befitting of her company with Gujarat State officials. The Petitioner did indeed come across such a video clipping and it now appears to the Petitioner that Shri Modi, who was monitoring the Petitioner’s cell phone calls, started believing that videos involving Ms. Soni perhaps included him ......

Basically, the plot is like this

1. The headline is that NaMo asked IPS to spy on a lady named Ms Soni, making NaMo look like some overbearing politician and lady look like a victim.

2. The body of news will try to convince the reader that NaMo and lady were having an affair, making NaMo look like some philander !!

This is really sickening move by Congress !!!

Is B.S. Yeddyurappa going to be in NaMo's rally tomorrow in Bangalore? After all, he has offered unconditional merger of KJP with BJP.

They will not officially go onboard with this news. The story is very shallow so is too dengerous. They will use SM with annonymous people to spread the twisted 'news'. Plausible deniability.

The NM team should make every effort to publicise this story in MSM to expose them.

PS: Thanks everyone who shared information about Shri CNR Rao. I apologize for questioning his integrity without knowing facts.

So Pradeep Sharma came across what visual evidence lol around 2008 and it now 'appears' something else only. Was he IAS in 2008 is moot question though. Con race is hitting below the belt and perhaps tripping to show dirty side during elections.
