Would be interesting to know whether they even get a single seat!
there were more than 10,000 as per some comments there, dunno how true though..

AAP just had their press conference where they showed that everything was cut. AAP followers are in a frenzy right now.
The ease by which they got the raw footage suggests a C-System plant.

They got their raw footage from the EC itself, according to press reports.

Yogi Yadav is claiming that the CD is doctored. I have not watched the entire footage, but it seems Ilmi bit seems manipulated, from media reports.

It makes me wonder if the `sting' was also part of the AAP's own set of tricks. Pretend a fake sting, get the others to throw their credibility behind that `sting' and then destroy the sting and the credibility of the others.

Why do ex cine "heroine" cum politicos from Andhra Pradesh like
1) Jayaprada
2) Vijayashanti
3) Roja
Are so footloose when it comes to their political and other associations hain ji? (Its a rhetorical q btw - presume many here already know the answer).

Why telugu people still dont dump these sleaze careered ones (especially from the telugu tolly field) and choose a woman coming from a more respectable career to put their political faith in hain ji?

I personally dream that the next big woman politico from AP will be miraculously coming from professions like municipal workers , garment factory workers , may be even an IT professional , don't mind an ex-babu even , Nurse (AP has quite a few nursing colleges) , may be a doctor ? , lawyer can also be accepted , wouldnt prefer a scribe - conflict of interest among others , or best of all a teacher .....

Anyone above among others but the easy women of tolly and other woods.

BJP complains that Khujliwal is registered as a voter in three places.

Can someone find out what Khujliwal's voter id is? Then we can verify for ourselves whether he actually is registered in three places?

Regarding the sting. The most damning parts, Shazia outside and her secretary Siddharth have not been questioned.

In fact the secretary has been fired.

The others were basically attempts at entrapment. Some said nothing doing, others said after elections.

But the thing is that most AAP followers seem to have a missionary zeal and look up to AK as some messiah.
He has sold the story of the people's movement hard and the angst suppressed for years is venting forth.
Their faith was shaken by the sting but now it has been reinforced.

In some ways I see it as the failure of the BJP to capture the angst which AK has successfully cornered.
The ten years of compromises by the D4 is truly hurting now.

BJD sweeps local polls in western Odisha. Looks like the BJP will have to wait a lot longer to make any impact in the local polls in western Odisha.

Exactly. Both bjp and con got decimated. Also keep in mind that 5 out of 6 ls seats that con. Won was from Western odisha. So 9 seats that the surveys are predicting seems like a tough task. As for bjp again they are comparatively stronger in western odisha. Looking at the results I would expect bjd to increase it's tally from 15 to 17/18.

Debadutta-ji,
Can the BJP (or rather Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo) win Bolangir, or Juel Oram (or anyone else, for that matter) win Sundargarh? Those are the only two in the BJP that can actually do anything, I think. Kharabela Swain has left the BJP, so Balasore is out of the reach of BJP, I think. The BJP, IMO, should count itself lucky if it can win one.

Why BJD is not willing to be part of NDA? There are no Muslim votes to lose in Odissa. What is their deal?

Why should Naveen Patnaik share power with the BJP, when he can do without it?

I agree, it would be a fluke if BJP wins a LS seat from Odisha. As per Naveen not going with BJP , he does n't have to , if BJD can win 17/18 seats on it's own, why would they want to share seats with BJP?

I am hoping that BJD will align with NDA at least post elections , since they can not afford to go with UPA and Third Front would be a disaster.

As with AP , BJP lost it's way post 1999. Naveen took all the credit for the work done by 2000 - 2009 BJP + BJD govt. Add to that the recent cyclone response , right now he looks unbeatable.

15% voting in MP in first two hours. Is it good? What turnout can be predicted by this?

46.23% until 1400, according to niticentral/ It will easily touch 70% by 1700. Also, these are estimates, and there will be an upward revision of the voting percentage. Expect about 70-75% vote in MP. Last time, it was 69%.

Arre bhai, sattar(a) pe khatra.

Like Uttarakhand and HP reported 70% and cute panja won in both the places.
Similarly, people may want a new "Fresh" face and this time it may be a close one like Uttarakhand.

Didn't some post here mention advantage BJP if polling turnout is 70% or more. So why this now khatra for satrah transferred to sattar now that its 70% and perhaps even more.

Nah, i have a sheet with his track record. I would say he is 65% right. And even the 35% he deliberately lies. Rarely does he get it wrong after the election is over. He is an insider who gets a lot of scoop.

But see yashwant deshmukh's tweet, he almost gave away the exit poll result when he tweeted that high voter turnout of late is turning out to be pro-incumbency more than often.
