From AAP's point of view, they have done much better than expected. So, they may not want another election right now. They may not be against BJP running a minority govt which they can pull down after some time. BJP would be desperate to form the govt because they have not been in power for 15 years in dilli.

But, the kongis are finished...
This could end up helping AAP. AAP is seen as a rebellious and as an outside entity fighting for betterment of politics (atleast by the people who voted for them in this election). So, being the principle opposition in Delhi and criticising the policies of the BJP government at very step would fit into their exact role of the challenger. And they would play spoil sport with Congi support for any new policies that BJP would try to bring in Delhi.

So, BJP has walk a tight rope here. They should allow the AAP to form a government and then ensure that AAPturds don't fool the people once again.

Guys, farji must not be allowed to become the CM. At the moment he is a one time wonder/fluke. But if he becomes CM he will actually get some credibility and goodwill. After that dissolving his party will become very difficult. Come what may BJP should form the govt and show the good work by Doctor sahab.

If BJP gets the chance to form a minority government in Delhi then they should. Declare a lot of plans and force the governance/development issues with the AAP & Congress. Let them cry over Lokayukt. Let people see who stands up for development and governance and who stands up for baburaaj/entilements ki rajniti.

Me thinks the ballot boxes (in this case machines each with 2000 vote capacity) are heaped together on the floor, so by first in last out principle , the late surge BJP votes have all been counted onlee.
What's more , what's left to be counted is the EVMs holding the votes from the early morning rush by AAPified onlee.

No, saar. BJP should take up the challenge and form the govt. It should be 4-0. And provide good governance. This is actually a very good result in dilli because not only has BJP is the largest party, kongis are gone. So good. AAP can be easily dealt. So far NaMo has not touched AAP. And AAP has no scope in Lok Sabha, so this is a very good result for BJP.

AAP will expose themselves as time passes. Their wave will flounder with time. So, BJP should form the govt and stay steady for atleast 2yrs. Thats enough to kill AAP. By that time, kongis will also be gone.

RK Hegde in 1983 formed a minority govt in Karnataka, He ruled well for 18 months and disssolved it when JP did not do well in 1984 General Election. In the next State elections in 1985 he won handsomely..

IMO the EVMs that were polled on last, were opened first in the morning. That is why AAP nos. are increasing since 12:00 pm & BJP's going down.

I do not think the ECI would open the EVMs in anything but a random order. Opening them in any temporal order provides meta information on voting pattern. I don't see the ECI having a desire to provide such information. AAP has gained substantial vote share, and ultimately how well theirs is concentrated vs that of BJP will make the difference. The Congress has essentially been wiped away in this election, though.

Arvind Kejriwal will have to let go off one seat.. Hopefully, the people will give that to BJP.

I am glad the RamanSingh and team seems to be sprinting to the finish line ahead of Jogi and team! Hope he does not do a Milka Singh :(

a deal between AAp and BJP. AAP gives full support in LS in exchange for Delhi sarkar. BJP takes high road of sitting in opposition for long term interests. Just my attempt at crystal-gazing.

sir it is 4-0 even if BJP does not form gov't...

Most AAP mlas are no politicians...they have absolute zero experience in administration...once the euphoria subsides they ll fight like teenage girlies ...and there admin will beyond doubt be a disaster..

If bjp form a minority gov't , aap will cry jeehard...keep crying lokpal...and the usual bakwaas...there might be a sting operation or 2...one must remember aap can play as dirty as con can..remember that manish sisodia is one of the investors of cobrapost...

it has been said several times on brf that the average Yindian voter is not the analytical type like brfites are..voters will get carried away with howls campaign like jan lokpal..."clean image of khujliwal"..etc..

the immediate aim of BJP should be to ensure maximum seats in delhi lok sabha ,and must plan accordingly,,,

due to a manner in which aap has projected itself so far,a mudslinging contest with AAP ,similar to the one it has with the con party would be counter productive to bhajpa...

This is a new threat against the Indian civilization, even though the old one has yet to be completely wiped off...nationalist must be extremely careful...

Vishwas of AAP giving out cries of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Vandematrum'.

Such turncoats. :) I am loving these guys. Just a few andolan back they were removing all signs of Indic identity from everywhere.

At the same time it signals how the sponsors of such forces as AAP have hit upon a new idea of taking over these essentially Indic Battle cries.

BJP has to take the initiative back in Delhi as well. Cannot let any part of the Desh go to a bandar-baant. The job is quite clearly cut out for BJP.

Once he becomes CM, Khujliwal will be directly compared to Modi by DDM. BJP should form the government in Delhi by all means. AAP will die its own natural death. It is not an ideological party, it is an issue based party. If BJP can ensure a clean government, I wonder what AAP will shout about.

Now a CM role will provide unnecessary clout to AK.
So keep him out.
