West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said that Pakistan Prime Minister has invited her to visit that country.
Banerjee said Pakistan High Commissioner Salman Bashir, accompanied by his wife and two delegates from the High Commission, met her on Monday at the state secretariat and handed over an invitation of the Pakistan Prime Minister to visit his country at a convenient time.
"The Pakistan High Commissioner has conveyed to me the invitation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to visit their country at a convenient time," she said on Facebook.

BTW, about one hundred years after battle of Terrain, the Sultanate sucked up all of North India resources and Khilji had to attack South India..The PA has outdone the Slave dynasties in half the time.

but i somehow break into splits when ever i see Djinnah’ s prominent photu giving its jealous stare when ever the Paki Army chiefs or other Heads of the state (some times PM, sometimes President, sometimes Chief justices?) meet foreign counterparts before what promises to be an intense GUBO session.
Looking at the action, Djinnah would be thinking... onlee if i was alive....

Btw this photu bijiness -- ive seen onlee in Pakis - even India doesnt conduct its photo ops with MKG’s visage interjecting in the middal.

That picture above is an anachronism. The Jama'at-Ulema-e-Islam (jUI) does not accept Jinnah as the Father of the Nation. That is true of both factions of JUI, Maulana Sandwich's JUI-S and Fazl-ur-Rehman's JUI-F. And, the Taliban do not accept the flag of Pakistan as well as its Constitution.

Nawaz asks Samiul-Haq to broker Taliban Talks - DT

Later, while talking to a TV channel, Maulana Samiul Haq said that he met the prime minister on his request. He said he would try his best to help resolve this issue and added that the core issue was to stop the drone attacks.

Maulana Samiul Haq said the US should understand that talks with the Taliban were in the interest of Pakistan as well as regional peace. He said when we get ready, foreign pressures do not allow us to proceed. “Thousands of Pakistanis have been martyred in a war which is not ours,” he said. He demanded that the losses incurred in North Waziristan be compensated, and advised the prime minister to revisit the foreign policy.

Maulana Samiul Haq said that the Rawalpindi tragedy and matters relating to sectarianism were also discussed in the meeting. On the occasion, the JUI-S chief demanded that the operation in North Waziristan should be stopped. He remarked that the Taliban are waiting for the government to act first. Hoping for a good beginning to the New Year, Maulana Samiul Haq said change in government policies can bring the Taliban to negotiation table.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan rejected the impression that an operation was underway in North Waziristan. “No operation is underway in North Waziristan. The government’s first priority is to engage Taliban with dialogue process and significant developments would soon be visible in next few weeks,” he told reporters. The minister also dispelled the impression that the task to hold dialogue was assigned to any individual, saying the government had not given authority to any individual for negotiations with Taliban.

IMHO, there are two reasons for such a collective punishment of civilians and civilians alone (let us remember that the stray terrrorists killed in North Waziristan are due to drones and not PA action). One, the Frontier Crimes Regulations (FCR) allows such a punishment and the second, the usual practice of the brave, martial-race 1-for-10 PA in flattening civilian dwellings in FATA to claim US baksheesh for having taken action.

Three people shot dead : Mob lynches two alleged robbers in Karachi

A senior police inspector was gunned down among three people in separate incidents of violence; meanwhile a mob tortured two alleged robbers to death in Orangi Town on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a senior police inspector was gunned down on Bab-e-Khyber in SITE area. Police said that Baharuddin Babar left his workplace for home on his vehicle, when armed riders intercepted the vehicle and resorted to indiscriminate firing killing him on the spot. His body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy.
Separately, a traffic police constable’s son was killed and others wounded when armed men barged into a house situated in Sadullah Goth within the remits of Saeedabad police station.
Police said that armed men barged into the house of traffic police constable Ghulam Mohammad and later opened indiscriminate firing that killed his 25-year-old son Adnan Shehzad, while Ghazanfar, Munawar and Babar sustained bullet wounds. The armed men also tortured the mother and sisters of the deceased and later fled after looting valuables, police added.
SHO Saeedabad Saghir Ahmed said that head of the family was not present in the house at the time of the incident time. “Personal enmity was the motive behind the incident,” the SHO said, adding that further investigations are underway.
In another incident, a man was gunned down in Gunja Goth, Gharibabad within the precincts of Malir City police station.
Police said that deceased was identified as Bakht Azeem, 35, son of Nazar Mohammad, resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Police said that victim was going somewhere in his car when an unidentified armed motorcyclist targeted him. As a result he sustained bullets injuries and was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where he succumbed to his injuries during medical treatment. Police suspected that he was killed over a personal dispute; however, further investigations are underway.
Mob lynching: Two alleged robbers were tortured to death after they were caught red-handed by a resident of Tauheed Colony, Orangi Town within the jurisdiction of Mominabad police station on Monday night.
According to the witnesses, two armed men riding a motorcycle entered a general store owned by Fazal aka Guddu and looted cash and valuables. When the passers-by rushed to the scene, the two men opened fire and tried to escape. The residents caught both the robbers and started beating them up.
Reacting on information, police reached the site and shifted the injured robbers to a hospital, where both the robbers succumbed to their injuries. Residents also set the alleged robbers’ motorcycle on fire.
They were later identified as Babar and Bahadur, residents of Haryana Colony area of Orangi Town. Earlier rumours claimed that the robbers were shot dead by the mob, however, SHO Ahmed But said that both were tortured to death. The officer also said that it was being investigated whether they were actually trying to flee after robbing the shop.
The police have yet to register an FIR to arrest culprits responsible for lethally torturing the alleged robbers.

Women and stress

Sir: Smoking, consumption of alcohol and drug abuse is common in western countries in people of both genders. But in our part of the world the ratio of men who are into these things is far more than females. The majority of women still try to stay away from smoking, drugs and alcohol. Yet females are experiencing health issues. What are the reasons for this declining health of females in the Indo-Pak region? It is their sedentary lifestyle, erratic eating habits and lack of exercise that are a few of the reasons. But I would like to throw light upon the relationship of stress and declining health. Females, especially housewives, are literally holding a burning furnace of tension in their heads. Domestic, financial, social and sometimes undue obsession and anxiety about other minor things all add up. Disturbed mental health culminates into disastrous physical health.
Females should be encouraged to engage themselves in activities that help them relax their minds like doing jobs{unislamic for lady to make money}, pursuing their careers{unislamic for lady to study anything other than HoKo}, making household handicrafts {unislamic idol worshipping} and excursion with family and friends{unislamic uncovered and unaccompanied by male guardian}. And if they find it difficult to cope with stress even after trying all this, they should not hesitate to consult psychologists or psychiatrists {only if that guy happens to be husband father or brother talking to gair mard is unislamic}, which happens to be a very common practice in many foreign countries.

For anything good or bad that happens in life use phrases like inshaallh, mashallh, jazakallah etc to become dispassionate from events.
