Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
Medha Patkar may join AAP.

After nuke plants, it is dams that are to be damned. NGO party of India seems to be an accurate word for the AAP. Is this why the Jan Lokpal wants to exempt NGOs from the Lokpal authority and from RTI?

An article that was linked in BRF a few days back talked about this mobilization only. It did acknowledge that this AAP movement could scale by co-opting local NGO's who would vote AAP. This thing is now spreading like an epidemic.

It matters. MP is one name that is recognized throughout the country. However CIA/AAP's gameplan is not that. In every district, in every taluk there is an NGO running. A minuscule few are run with good intentions. Most are covers for more insidious agenda, inspired and financed by EJ's/Maopests. The seeds of this have been laid a long time ago. It is now time for the revolution. All of these NGO's will be mobilized on local issues only. The CIA/AAP candidate will be projected as being in favour of a particular local position. This is expected to swing votes in their direction for that particular constituency. In essence CIA/AAP wants to convert this into 543 local elections rather than one general election.

Saar - this is the beginning of the colour revolution in India. All these NGOs are going to work full time for the AAP now, and will try to `educate' voters only on their issue of interest. As there are lakhs of NGOs, each with dozens of members, you can imagine the total number of NGOs and organisational manpower that AAP will have for the elections.vivek.rao wrote:BOSS! What is more - these people are not interested in governance. You are seeing that in Delhi. Free power, and water. Powers withdrawn from police to fine autowallahs. Their thugs invading hospitals and `monitoring' them. This is what AAP wants. They want to make India destroyable with a creeping paralysis of the state.

35% or thereabouts of Ahmedabad did vote for Congress if I am not wrong, even in the midst of the Modi wave in Assembly elections. No surprise if part of that shifts to AAP.Rahul Mehta wrote:The feedback I am getting is that many middle class in Ahmedabad are taking AAP seriously because of fall in electricity prices in Delhi

I get it...truly the putsch is on...as in maoist revolutions, they work assiduously in the countryside and build a base leaving the urban centers alone. when strong enough, urban centers are attacked and the coutryside rises in revolt like a vietcong tet offensive.
Shankar said it best - In essence CIA/AAP wants to convert this into 543 local elections rather than one general election.
in this the generally local minded and gullible nature of the indian voter is a strong ally.

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
To me it appears that the all these ststements about AAP doing well in certail constituencies and winning certain numbers is a cover up for EVM magic. Unlike BJP which thinks discretion is better part of valour (decided to opt out of Dilli sarkar formation, which may have been a good decision IMO), Amerikhan is determined to stop Modi by all means..That is why they are not making any moves to mend their ways with Modi. They have the ace called EVM up their sleeve. They won't allow BJP to cry foul even if obvoius EVM magic play is noticed, because the paid media, Kangress, commies and even many in BJP itself would side with Khan apart from EC members. Only antidote to this nonsense is force paper ballot in all urban constituencies and any other vulnerable ones.
First an Amerikhan baba predicts 50 seats for AAP, then the MSM parrots it and propagates theories about how it is possible etc..IIRC, Kangress won majority of seats in urban area last time. They want to shift part of these seats to AAP, because, it they manipulate and wins it fore themselves, questions will be raised. But shifting it to AAP would appear convincing. A la' Prajarajyam experiment done in last election by CIA, but on an all India scale this time. Mark my words, Lalu will win considerable seat in Bihar too, if this CIA project is scuttled in initial phase itself. BJP strategists should be vigilant 24x7 on such schemes.

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
The more I think about it, the more I feel even Dilli results were EVM magic particularly in AAP wins at low margins. But for late surge of sangis, it would have been a total washout for BJP.
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
the set of american media/electoral consultants said to be occupying an entire floor of a 5* hotel in delhi could have been retasked now to help AAP and manage the MSM shrill campaign, now that Rahul gandhi's prospects are rapidly fading....

Actually nobody knows if the late surge was by anybody from Congress or BJP. All we can safely understand is that it was by someone for someone. Somebody who could manage it for somebody who could benefit from it.geeth wrote:The more I think about it, the more I feel even Dilli results were EVM magic particularly in AAP wins at low margins. But you can safely take out BJP because BJP vote spread was very even all across the Delhi and across time too. That would not leave any BJP voter in the reserves.
OTOH AAP cameras have the evidence for alcohol and flour distribution. The Police is under Congress. But nothing is coming out about any investigation on this. Furthermore AAP & Congress have the local toughs inside jhuggi jhompdi clusters to force them to come out.
The EVM magic you suspect may be something as simple as a 200 jhuggi walas each picketing 4-6 polling booths and 4-6 corrupt EC officials & 4-6 local dadas (polling agents) punching two simple buttons on two machines for about 1 hour [Added Later : ie. per Assembly seat]. Later all the 200 odd jhuggi walas emerging with an indelible ink mark. No signature of the crime left to follow up on or use as evidence. The human factor dissolving in the country side. Probably also the reason the foreign agencies focus so much on Indian poverty etc.
Sometime back it was pointed out that AAP will concentrate on the middle class and the Congress would concentrate on the poorer sections of the cities.

what was the need to stretch the polling so late ??? let illegal immigrate vote ??
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
Does anyone know what is happening with the VVPAT? Is it going to be installed in all polling booths for the coming elections?

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
VVPAT is good only if you catch EVM magic. What if the magic is elsewhere.
The point is any system that allows you:
1) to see yourself/your own vote/your own donation, but
2) secrets otherselves/other's votes/other's donation,
cannot be given a clean chit since this system is merely abusing the user's sense of pride to suspend his sense of judgement.
See if the magic is elsewhere like in Bhoot capturing then the local tough can simply collect all the paper trail and burn it all.
Why does BJP insist on good booth management? Could it be because they suspect usage of wrongful tactics by somebody else.

The body of India has been made weakened by 10 years of misrule and allowing NGOs to occupy the vacuum, including the top NGO of them all, NAC. It's like the sleeper cells. Now the NGOs are attempting to form the government. NaMo is really the only thing standing between this virus and India.
Low information middle class voters could start affecting the election and they will come and vote.
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
AAP is becoming the mecca for the quasi-naxalite left oriented "activists" fighting against the "evil Yindoo" casteism, crony capitalism and other such assorted items. Congress is now a dirty word even for these activists who no longer want to be associated with such a tag and AAP is congress 2.0. The street presence and muscle power that these activists only had in the jungle with the maoist presence is now available in the urban areas all under the cover of a political party. Since koodankulam when the foreign hand support of the "NGOs" became open and EVEN the congress was appalled the "activists" needed political backing and they knew for sure that BJP was no sell out to support these types. With Modi coming in (note that he already spoke to Nambi Narayanan) these activists need serious muscle power and street presence.
Medha Patkar, Sarabhai, media honchos are all running towards the AAP now with the top dog himself being a Ford foundation chap.

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
If these NGO types side fully with AAP openly, we can expect US/EU to talk about international observers, etc. and hold the credibility of results to ransom, if the results are completely unacceptable (ex. a strong performance by NaMo). These elements are such loud mouths and with zero stake in functioning of the system (many have their entire careers built only on obstruction), they will not shy away from doubting the validity of the results.
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
if the EVM theory is correct then there is no need to form AAP etc etc CON can simply install Rahul as PM with the help of EVM
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
Wrong , people will known they did something, but having AK gives creditability , which that guy cant.

The more you think of it the more it appears that it is creation of the CIA. Another alleged aam admi presided over the last vivisection of the country in 1947 and now this one. The image that is projected of them is one that would in polite conversations be referred to as caricatures. One dressed himself in loincloth. This guy puts a muffler over his head. Prior to Gandhi and Kejriwal did you ever hear of the obsession of any Indian leader with bodily excretions. Amongst these two one was obsessed with urine and the other with his "loose motions". The tragedy is that the country laps it all up as signs of being aam admi. Neither are aam admis BTW. One was a privileged foreign educated lawyer born to an affluent minister of a princely state, the other is an elite IIT educated elite serviceholder born to an affluent engineer's family.

Its a possibility. If ombaba could be given Nobel without him having done anything then it is possible to give AK47 one too to influence an election outcome. One question that comes to my mind is what is it that the EJ types are after that they have gone for broke and put all their assets into this fight? This is turning out be the electoral equivalent of a mahabharata.
Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
even online e-shopping websites are trying to cash on the AAP sucess

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
They have seen how good a few years of NDA rule have been to India and are afraid of what an even better NDA govt. with NaMo as PM could do. The western govts and EJ influence will be reduced and eliminated. They really are going for broke. I dread to think what will be India's state if they succeed.ShankarCag wrote:Its a possibility. Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
Good. Very Good. With this realizing AAP and con both can kiss goodbye to Gujarat. MP is seen as the biggest villain in the Sardar Sarovar Dam's (on Narmada) unfinished story. She has been the front face of congress to stall the project and make Gujaritis suffer without water for decades. People who support these NGOs were never BJP voters and will never be. Only thing is that they have one more choice on offer. That can't be bad. Let all these closet mao-vadis to align themselves. At least people will clearly see who's with whom like 'dharma-kshetra' & 'kuru-kshetra'. Just let that happen for a little longer till they completely reveal themselves. After that start carpet bombing them together.nageshks wrote:Medha Patkar may join AAP.
The dharmik forces are not sitting idle either. They are also doing their bit to align well intentioned NGOs. Yes, the dharma-kshetra & kuru-kshetra is being played out on that front as well. So they asked around 250 people in every city. 250 in city where population may be in corores sound very little even if we ignore possible data manipulation.
By the way what is the normal sample size in a typical opinion poll?

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
A story from Panchatantra...
Long ago in a Ganarajya called Magadha, there was a king called Hatobuddha (हतोबुद्ध). Like name, he was indeed a hatabuddha (हतबुद्ध) person. But he was a kalaakaar par excellence and had mastered the art of fooling people. People used to wonder about a throne behind king's throne and such conspiracy theories always found space in public gossip of the country. Before becoming king, hatobuddha was actually an adviser to a king called Narakesari. But his exceptional qualities of sycophancy towards a powerful dynasty called GaanDhjhol, hatobuddha was propped up as king. anyways.
hatobuddha ruled magadha for 10 years but people were so pissed with his rule that he decided to retire and accept vaanaprastha. Time came to choose new king. The GaanDhjhol dynasty proposed the name of crown-prince matimandahool (मतिमंदहूल) for the role of new king. But seeing the old king about to retire various Sardars from various provinces of magadha desha started dreaming to becoming king. Among these aspirants, forefront were Sardar Kamalendra (कमलेन्द्र) from west, Karunaika and Bhavyalalita (करूणैनक एवं भव्यललिता) from south, Vaatsalyata (वात्सल्यता) and dhikniteesha (धिकनितीश) from east and Mriduyama (मृदुयम) and Maya (माया) from north. Seeing this immense competition, crown prince Matimandahoola of gaanDhjhol dynasty was worried about his chances and with the advice of Vishwamaatula (विश्वमातुल), he propped up a new contender in north named Vindasammaarjani (विंदसम्मार्जनी).
To everyone's surprise, Vindasammaarjani defeated Bhakshila (भक्षिला), a supporter of matimandahoola's candidature and gaanDhjhol dynasty and became the mukhiya of certain province in norther country. A certain powerful western lord Lambodara Vakramukha (लंबोदर वक्रमुख) declared that he won't be contesting for kingship, this strengthened the position of Kamalendra. However the surprise victory of Vindasammaarjani slightly altered the public perceptions especially in capital province of north magadha. Thus in that capital province, Kamalendra, Matimandahoola and Vindasammaarjani became the likely contenders for the kingship.
Kamalendra was working hard and he helped his supporting lords to win the position of provincial governors. But bored by lackluster matimandahoola, many soldiers of all sorts belonging to gaanDhjhol dynasty started flocking to the camp of Vindasammaarjani. Due to this flocking, and vagaries of their Kumaara-leela the socio-political environment was becoming Pradooshita instead of Prashaanta. Due to these antics of various kumaara-leelas, Vindasammaarjani although happy initially started getting annoyed.
Kamalendra, OTOH, was quite popular person. King's men in government and king sponsored team of udghoshakas (उद्घोषक) had been trying to vitiate the public opinion against kamalendra but public did not budge and started supported him even more. Furthermore a certain Manmohana of Daksha-sampradaaya (दक्ष-संप्रदाय) decided to support Kamalendra, this further multiplied his strength.
Now, while Kamalendra himself was desisting from any move against Vindasammaarjani, kamalendra's soldiers were beginning to attack Vindrasammaarjani on accounts that Vindasammaarjani was openly taking help from gaanDhjhola's soldiers and resources of Vishvamaatula. Vindasammaarjani's erstwhile guru Shri. Sahastra Bhojana too was alleging something similar. There were strong reasons for the same. The deputies of Vindasammaarjani were blatantly worshipping a certain Daanaveera karna of Angadesha by distributing public wealth for free to people.
Just like that ancient king of eastern India, they too were supporting the very Bhakshila whom they had defeated on grounds of corruption and promised to throw her in jail. The deputies of Vindasammaarjani and he himself were beginning to practice double-speak with such precision that the people that northern capital province of Magadha started wondering about their decision. The fun began when Vindasammaarjani bought a huge palace at public expense and asked the panchayat to suggest which color should he paint his house in 140 alphabets. Whenever any question to him was asked apart from color of house, Vindasammaarjani asked people to go and ask Matimandahoola and kamalendra first. Just like Karna, this Vindasammaarjani supported evil, while speaking of virtue. Just like Karna, he distributed wealth of state thinking that it belongs to his father's fiefdom. He did so just to ensure that people will not question his alliance with gaanDhjhola dynasty and his protection of Bhakshila just like Karna did it to ensure public support against his friendship with Duryodhana.
A dog couple Shvetaprichhaa (श्वेतपृच्छा) and Raatrirudaka (रात्रिरुदक) living on the streets of capital province was witnessing all this. While having dinner, one day Shvetaprichhaa asked her husband Raatrirudaka a question," Bho raatrirudaka swami, Whats wrong with these humans? What is your opinion of those who promise something before elections and give excuses later for not fulfilling those promises?" Raatrirudaka threw a glance at her and continued licking the bone. This annoyed Shvetaprichha to no extent. She said unto him," Oh you who barks in nights for no reason, why are you silent now? Why don't you bark now, you barking son of a she-dog?" Pissed by the constant nagging by his wife, Ratrirudaka started barking,"My distant cousin from a big city of western magadha once told me a story which is popular in that part. The story is called insiders and outsiders. humans travel by local trains in that big huge city of western Magadha. Those who are in the trains do not let any humans on the platform to enter the train. But if someone manages to enter the train in spite of all opposition, he then becomes an insider and opposes the outsider person from next station to board the train uttering the famous words - jagah nahi hai bhaay, agla train pakad. Do you understand what I mean to say now"..
Shvetaprichha barked in affirmation. They continued licking the bone and later went to sleep after satisfying each other.

Re: Statewide and National runup to 2014 General elections
Earlier I was of the opinion that BJP ought to participate in these media "debates" but I guess I was out of touch. Today I saw one of the programs in NDTV which focuses on social media, topic being some virulent anti-Modi guy being appointed as some kind of head of twitter India.
There was a dignified lady from BJP. And opposing her were the anchor(who was very aggressive including leaning across and finger pointing), some garden variety writer-"intellectual" woman and one left liberal guy. WWF is more realistic than that debate. All three were tag teaming and ganging up on that BJP lady who couldn't get her word edgewise. The opposing team took their own sweet time without interruption and whenever the BJP lady makes a nuanced point they would cut her down. Then in summary the anchor abruptly finished the segment giving the last word to that writer woman.
What a farce. I am coming around to the view that there is no point in participating in these kind of mummers show.
EDIT: Apparently there is a online petition going around to make twitter remove this guy. She showed a glimpse of it. But she showed one parody petition making fun of Niti Central Editor Kanchan Gupta which she read aloud parts of it and even showing the part where they make fun of his appearance. This is brazen even by Indian media standards.

Yet another patriot is negotiating the terms to join AAP

Like in the movie Independence Day, in which the aliens use the human satellites to synchronise the attacks, the AAPsoles are using our democratic process to undermine India. Aam can be roughly translated to maangai in Tamil. I really think whoever joins AAP after seeing their activities is maanga madayan.“During my telephonic conversation with Yogendra Yadav and recent meeting with Prashant Bhushan, I told them that the AAP’s state unit must give importance in issues relating to the Tamil Eelam, recurrent attacks on Tamil fishermen, abuse of the Indian coast in the name of development projects and plundering of beach minerals apart from social justice and minority rights,” he said.
Udayakumar said that he had put forth the same issues when Kejriwal met him at Kuthenkuly in September 2012 to support the anti-KKNPP struggle. But there was no progress after the meeting.
“However, now Yadav has reacted positively. He said that Tamil nationalism can coexist with Indian nationalism. We reiterated to Bhushan that Tamil nationalism does not denote separatist or secessionist sentiments but a stance seeking fair and just treatment of Tamils within the Indian Union,” he disclosed.
