Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
The Ezhava SNDP/Nair NSS/older Christian (the original non-proselytizing kind) grouping is a very potent and demographically strong voting bloc in Kerala. They're currently split between LDP and UDP, but lack the kind of clout they'd have as a unified entity, and the BJP is doing the right thing by bringing them together.
Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
sounds like we are stuck in this never ending loop of caste-bandwagon politics.
Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
I don't have great hopes from the BJP, but if they can win in Kasargod and Thiruvananthapuram (both places where they have about 15% of the vote already), they will have made a great beginning. Kasargod, and Kozhikode in the north, Palakkad in the centre, and Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Thiruvananthapuram, and Attingal are all places where the BJP can expect to score at least 15-20% of the vote. Kannur would have been another, but the local BJP is hopelessly divided there.Suraj wrote:The Ezhava SNDP/Nair NSS/older Christian (the original non-proselytizing kind) grouping is a very potent and demographically strong voting bloc in Kerala. Ok, so Modi makes his next move. Former Army chief General VK Singh to join BJP next month. Expect him to expose Khujliwal so badly that he will at least make sure that Khujliwal cannot enter Haryana.

http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/arvi ... 35288.htmlArvind Kejriwal has come to haunt Narendra Modi on Gujarat roads
India Today Online New Delhi, January 9, 2014 | UPDATED 18:30 IST
Not all goof-ups in politics are silly, some of them are extremely hilarious. Take for example, what happened to this year's road safety week in Gujarat.
The national road safety week, scheduled to begin in Ahmedabad on January 10, has the tagline 'When on road, always say Pehle Aap' which will be displayed in bold on big banners alongside all major roads in the state.
However, the state government led by Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is in a fix since most BJP officials see this as free publicity for the newborn Aam Aadmi Party - commonly known as AAP.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
The PAIDMEDIA is trying to make up lies, create a panic, provoke BJP, get wild reactions, use it as a bait to keep hitting back. They want to change the narrative from Development/Governance to BJP corrupt & Kujli will cure all. BJP has to keep balance. Put their agenda & ideas. Debate ideas and silently make alliances.
Even if they succeed in denting BJP this election,AAP is worse disaster than Janata or Janata Dal. Not sure how Modi can keep patiently focus.
RSS Bhagawati statement is again another fraud by TOI. I sometimes feel some of these dangerous people should have been take care in Sonia style. Bad thoughts.
They are doing what they are PAID to do and also in the fear that their money laundering will not continue in future and will be exposed.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
He created what none was able to do.. corruption awareness and triggering the aam admi plank.. he has the RTI behind him, and everyone thinks he is an achiever by protest, rasta roko, satyagraha, brooming, etc. the fella does have turd vision for the country. He is a perfect candidate for some NGO org. He can empty and further create a huge debt for the country very soon if he wins 2014. The fear from RSS is enough indication that aam minds are behind kejriwal.. like it or not, indic people (aam) are bandwagon people.. generally think only after they do.

What if people got it wrong? The way things are going I propose a theory: Modi, Ramadev and Anna created AAP., to split Congress votes and to prevent votes going to parties that will align with Congress.

^Indeed. People are delusional. Everyone seems to have forgotten that AAP has decimated the congress in New Delhi and not the BJP. Whatever the BJP lost in Delhi was due to their own inadequacies that would have cost it regardless. If the same game plays out nationwide (which is another delusion, since AAP does not have that kind of organization), then it should again decimate the congress, but the BJP with its vastly better situation and the leadership of Modi should not even suffer what it did in Delhi. Why has everyone forgotten about the threat to the congis and focusing only on the so called threat to BJP. The fact that paid media can cause such hysteria is embarrassing. Is it so easy to scare and scam so called patriotic Indians?
Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
Rahul gandhi's % choice for PM has come down from a high of around 40% middle of 2013 to nearing single digits now. Namo has remained the same or slightly increased...so all of RaGa followers have shifted to KJ.
my spider feel says KJ will play along with congis so long as it benefits him, but is too self-centered to be a pawn..he will nullify any deal when the time comes....for the congis it will be a lesson in "raise no more demons than you can lay down"

-It was not merely corruption awareness, but an attempt at fullscale revolution which failed for now. Revolution followed by anarchy. But, since they are now in power, they can have anarchy without the revolution.SaiK wrote:He created what none was able to do.. corruption awareness and triggering the aam admi plank.. he has the RTI behind him, and everyone thinks he is an achiever by protest, rasta roko, satyagraha, brooming, etc. the fella does have turd vision for the country. -RTI is not due to him.
-There is no fear from RSS because the quote of Bhaagawath was fabricated apparently.
-He is a media creation. Just sometime back, it was all Anna Anna, now no coverage for Anna but only Fordriwal. If media wants, it can move on to someone else. This is not about Fordriwal. He is just coincidental. His only achievement before elections was Ford funded award which quoted See Eye A.
-If you are interested, even you can achieve what he has achieved if you are willing to become the puppet of foreign powers. Then, you too can start with your Ngogiri and even hope to lead a revolution someday.
The question is what has Fordriwal achieved so far in terms of governance after being elected? They are too busy thinking of the next elections or doing circus for media. Where is the governance, saar? Has the law and order situation in dilli bettered? Are the women safer? Is the corruption reduced? Are the corrupt getting punished? How many corrupt people have been booked so far? What are the plans for creation of jobs to tackle unemployment? Subsidies and reservations, is that all there is to governance? How are they going to get revenue? By increasing taxes?
Many people who have voted for the Fordriwal are already feeling this way. They see that he is not at all living up to the expectations they had. Instead, he has taken the support of the corrupt kongis. So, leave alone the dhesh, even in dilli, his support will go down.
The only way AAP can perform well in the next polls in the dhesh is if there is a magic. Hopefully, NaMo will opt for the ballot and not allow any potential for magic.

^+1 million. Fordiwal will be exposed to be all hot air long before the coming election. When people see him for what he really is, their disappointment will turn to anger and retribution.
As for the prophets of doom on this forum and elsewhere - It is REALLY EASY to predict failure and catastrophe. All you have to be is paranoid and hysterical. If you guys think you are better than the rest of us just because you scream at the top of your voice about doom and gloom, then that is another one of your delusions. Keep your irrational fears to yourself. It is really not nice to assuage yourself of your panic by unloading it on others. Please only share reasonable doubts and questions rather than polluting the thread with nonsense. Of course, this is just a request.

Dear folks,
AK's success has NOT been due to RTI etc. It is ONLY due to MNC-owners paying mediamen to fund him. HE and Anna did NOTHING to raise awareness about corruption --- people were already aware. The MNC-owners paid mediamen to highlight him and no one else, and so he came center of attention across India. The nationalist activists lost against AK , because most nationalists activists decided to support BJP leaders to the extent that they started opposing legislative reforms needed to curb corruption because those reforms were damaging BJP leaders as well. Most nationalists took "my leaders first, nation later" and so there was a vacuum of legislative options to reduce problems before youth and other voters. The MNC-owners took advantage of that vacuum, and sponsored AK with useless "Janlokpal with NO Right to Recall Janlokpal " draft and thus became popular. The handful of Nationalists like myself who took "legislative reforms first, leaders who oppose good laws can gth" could make small space against AK , AAP and such MNC-owners' outfits. How? we came with far netter law-draft aka "Janlokpal with RTR-Janlokpal , with JurySys and with narco-test clauses". Now this draft goes against interest of BJP leaders because if RTR, Jury and narco comes, except NaMo and 2-3 others, most BJP leaders will also land in prison. So most nationalists opposed it. And so the nationalists have lost the first round of this battle.

Delhi high court announces 47 new courts
Across all India, all CMs including NaMo want to tripple the number of courts or even make it ten times so that court delay can reduce. But judiciary doesnt increase number of courts. The main reason why judges dont increase number of courts has been influence of American elitemen. The foreign elitemen do not want number of courts in India to rise. But now that new Delhi CM is sponsored by American elitemen, the judges are acting fast to increase number of courts. If some other CM had asked for new courts, this would not have happened. And this step will increase the popularity of AK across Indian middle class.
Now every one will ask a natural question --- why didnt NaMo increase number of courts in Gujarat? How come he can make bold demand that "all taxes be abolished" but he cannot ask for 80000 new courts? All these VALID questions will cause damage , unless real answer is given. And the real answer is --- no Indian leader can make a workable demand without approval of MNC-owners , because if he does, then MNC-paid-media and MNC-paid-supreme-judges will roast him. Now sadly, BJP is not in position to give this REAL answer to us common men. And so BJP leaders will have no answer to this question "why dont you double the number of courts across states?" And so due to answerlessness, BJP leaders will lose points against AK.
Anyway, a good thing is good thing. My sincere congratulations and thanks to AK = AAP to create 47 new courts in Delhi. Its a good step, and will benefit people of Delhi and people across India. Since 1998 I have been asking that number of courts in India should go 10 times. On BRF, I have been writing about it since 2002. Sadly Nationalists never forced their leaders to take this step. So ABV didnt raise number of courts by any significant number and nor did any BJP CM. It is shame that Nationalists activists supported leaders who refused to increase number of courts.

Delhi high court announces 47 new courts
10-jan-2014
NEW DELHI: In a move that may help deal with the huge number of pending cases, the Delhi high court has announced the creation of 47 new courts in the capital.
Though the formal announcement of the expansion of courts came on Thursday, the decision had been finalized earlier this week. The new courts, which will come up in six district courts complexes from January 15, will deal with trial in heinous offences and civil matters including motor accidents cases.
The executive order, signed by high court registrar general, Sangita Dhingra Sehgal, also says due to the increase in the number of courts, 78 officers of Delhi Higher Judicial Services (additional district and sessions judges) and 150 officers of Delhi Judicial Services (civil judges and magistrates) have been transferred.
"The creation of new courts will certainly result in expediting the trials both in the district courts as well as in the HC," Sehgal said. Two senior trial court judges --Satinder Kumar Gautam and Brijesh Kumar Garg-- have been appointed ?as joint registrars of the high court to deal with civil matters and expedite cases. Along with the decision to increase the number of courts, HC has asked the district judges to also ensure ?that litigants are not inconvenienced and are informed within two weeks about which court their pending ?case has been re-assigned to so that ?"no inconvenience is caused to lawyers and litigants in the transfer of ?the cases". It has also instructed the judges who have either been promoted or transferred, to ensure they pronounce judgments in matters lying reserved for a verdict.
On Wednesday, Kejriwal and law minister Somnath Bharti met Chief Justice N V Ramana at his residence. Sources had said they exchanged views on expediting cases and reducing backlog.

@ folks who say AAp has no organization nationwide
AAp do not need one, inc they are using inc's network
this same network was used in dilli too
as to the why, two theories going around
-the Gs wanna out, lowcaste incwala screaming wat about us
hence AAp for rallying point for those left behind.
- the dilli formula worked, in spite of bhajapa winning
they are thumb sucking in opposition it should nationally too.

Mehta saar,
I don't think that news will create much impact because it will not be much of a talking point. Most people will not even be aware of this development. And that is the real drawback: the mundane governance issues are not very sexy and do not grab headlines. 'Revolution', subsidy or reservations are much more sexy and instant solutions which grab headlines.

Those who mouth off about AAP taking urban seats from the BJP should be less IGNORANT about how many seats were won by whom in 2009.
As for congis helping AAP - It might be useful for the dynasty to help the AAP, but the congi worker/mp gets nothing out of it. He cannot join the AAP because he is corrupt and would not be allowed to. So, what use is it to him to have the AAP win? He might not even be spared from punishment for his corruption if AAP comes to power, given how they want to enhance their "image." To think that the congi worker is some robot who will work in suicide mode is mere fancy. Just take a look at the mood of the Delhi congi worker, just look at Mrs. Dikshit and you will know how the congi worker feels. Just because those who make these imbecilic predictions and CTs are foolish enough to believe their own delusions, does not mean that the congi (however corrupt/evil he is) is stupid or suicidal.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
Yes, that's the big issue. BJP might be the largest party nationally but will still stick at opposition. As those 2nd largest, 3rd onwards and many other smaller parties can combine together. And these parties can easily be swayed by the whole secularism talks spread of Congress, thus allying with them. Thus, in the upcoming national elections, the objective is not only just 1) to win maximum seats but also on 2) minimizing the direct impact of any other parties and making sure collaboration doesn't happen between these other parties. Not just BJP but all pundits failed to understand that in Delhi elections and thus AAP succeeded at the end. And now really the only way to diminish AAP is by waiting and basically hoping for some infighting to happen.niran wrote: - the dilli formula worked, in spite of bhajapa winning

Will you vote for Mallika Sarabhai because you want to see Kejri as PM? Or vote for Mallika because she is going to be a good MP?
No. You will vote for Meera Sanyal - ex-ceo of Royal Bank of Scotland (India) who lost assembly elections from Mumbai (S) so that you can vote Kejri as PM? Or Mallika as PM and Meera as effective MP? Or Meera as PM and Mallika as effective MP?
No. You will vote for Ashutosh IBN. Because he is the next HAL?
No. You will vote for Star TV CEO Sameer Nair. Because he is going to give free communication to AAP. What will he say vote for Kejri as PM and Sameer Nair as I&B minister?
Well if all of them are eminently votable, then here is the complete list of eminently votables who joined AAP today.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) created a sensation with a stellar debut in the Delhi assembly polls and is increasingly attracting people from different walks of life.
With the rookie party going strong on its anti-corruption plank, here’s a look at some of the big names who have decided to join hands with Arvind Kejriwal.
http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/po ... inath1.jpg
Captain Gopinath (62)
The founder of budget airline Air Deccan, Captain Gopinath joined the AAP on January 3. Gopinath made his first foray into politics in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, in which he fought from Bangalore South against BJP’s Ananth Kumar and lost. Said to be impressed by the AAP’s anti-corruption stand, he has not ruled out contesting the upcoming polls.

Mallika Sarabhai (60)
A bitter critic of Gujarat chief minister and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, danseuse, actor and social activist Mallika Sarabhai joined the AAP this week. She contested the Lok Sabha elections in 2009 as an independent candidate from Gandhinagar against BJP leader LK Advani and lost by a huge margin. Daughter of scientist Vikram Sarabhai and classical dance exponent Mrinalini Sarabhai, she has often been in news for taking up issues related to the 2002 Gujarat riots.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
^^What succeeded in the end? They were "allowed" to win by the BJP knowing full well that they would collapse on their own weight. If they remained an opposition, their supporters (whose numbers would have greatly increased) buoyed by their better than expected seat tally would have pushed them to a result in the general elections that would at the end of the day have been better than what they will get now. They would have gotten the same or even better media coverage regardless of their forming govt or not. In fact they would have been better off cursing and baiting the BJP govt in Delhi and playing the underdog/revolutionary.
Now that they are in power and certain to disappoint and disillusion their believers/supporters. They are already showing signs of losing steam and have done nothing to really better the lot of Delhiites. In fact, what little they did enact (like sanction the goondagiri of auto drivers) will bite them in the a$$ soon enough. So, "in the end," they will have minimal effect on the BJP and whatever effect they do have will bite the congress more.
Even if world turns upside down and they do form a govt at the head of the so called "third front" (with congi support), it would be unstable and chaotic as hell and we will soon have re-elections, which NaMo and the BJP are sure to win.
So, I would like to ask people to cool off the hysterics and look at the big picture. Just because we were beaten before, we need not be pathetic losers who cannot believe in victory.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
The other entity that is going to bite Congress on its ass is the "media". The nexus between powerful NGO, politicians and media will remain for ever; however every entity has its own "rasa". Our ancients have talked about rasa and guna.Singha wrote:my spider feel says KJ will play along with congis so long as it benefits him, but is too self-centered to be a pawn..he will nullify any deal when the time comes....for the congis it will be a lesson in "raise no more demons than you can lay down"
The media, true to its nature, has some intrinsic components like reporting, spreading agenda/opinion and sensationalizing news & commentary. Many start a media enterprise with a set of ideologies or pet cause - for examples during the Independence movement, when political entities are formed, when social engineering is sought. These appeal to the hard core base, but to sustain itself it has to appeal to the general audience as well. It has no other means but to attract the eyes and minds of people - sensationalize and play to the emotions.
Now couple all this with the media personalities EGO, one has a potent mix call the Frankenstein. One can hope to control it to an extent, but the beast had to be fed.
Modi was attacked for a decade or so, enabling more people to know about him. True it made many enemies for Modi, brainwashed many citizens, influenced foreign governments and NGOs. However, the media ended up showcasing Modi for 10 years. Did all these influence Modi? Possibly, he could have become smarter and shrewder. Maybe he worked on his image and policies that went on to benefit Gujarat, and probably the country. Until this election season, not many knew about Manohar Parrikar, Raman Singh or Shivraj Singh Chouhan. These people are lauded to be able administrators, decent leaders and are showered praises for getting their States on track of progress. Media did not pay attention, and they did not raise to national prominent.
If Congress hoped to use media to destroy Modi or make him a villain, it ended up doing the opposite. Arnab is going to have a "National Debate" soon; the studio set looks like a US Presidential debate studio. Except Arnab will be doing most of the talking and interrupting. If Congress or the powers to be, or the 'foreign hand' is using media to prop of AAP, there is no guarantee that the game will play out like it is described in the playbook.
All one can say at this moment is that there is a clear anti-Congress tsunami that has washed over the entire country. BJP under Modi's direction will survive, there will be islands where the regional parties would be left hanging for their lives. AAP might be on one of those islands, or maybe it will do well.
The "rise" of AAP is a good sign because, BJP will now seek to further strengthen and reform itself. I feel confident because it is Modi we are speaking about, and not Advani or Sushma, who is in control. And there is a hunger for victory, there is a spring of enthusiasm in BJP cadre, and its supporters are charged up. And they can easily manage AAP, paap aur unka baap.

Slow cooking Khichdi mubaraak ho. Further, Kejriwal does not have enough oomph to carry a diverse party with him. He is not a Gandhi neither a Nehru.chadev wrote:Yes, that's the big issue. And now really the only way to diminish AAP is by waiting and basically hoping for some infighting to happen.niran wrote: - the dilli formula worked, in spite of bhajapa winning
they are thumb sucking in opposition it should nationally too.
AAP runs totally on volunteers. Unless it takes over the local INC tantra. Why would a local INC Tantra help AAP wannabes win an election? And why would I volunteer for Meera Sanyals election. Okay let us say I volunteer for her - where is my plum posting *after* she becomes an MLA? Or MP? Will I be able to administer her MPLAD scheme?
Funny, the way Delhi elections are discussed, AAP has 2/3rd Majority and BJP is sucking thumb and Congress is lost.
Yes, AAP will take away 3-5% of BJP vote. And AAP will take away all of CongIs vote. A traditional CongI voter will vote for AAP - since the voter now has a negative choice. A die-hard voter will vote for CongI.
Given that the voting percentage is already high, a higher turnout does not necessarily translate to larger seat share for AAP or CongIs.
So instead of BJP getting 210-220 it will get 180-190. Fine. CongI+AAP+SP+BSP+JD(U)+RJD+Biju JD+DMK+TMC+AIADMK can all form a grand secular alliance to rule the natives. Then CongI will break it and say "Khichdi will not work" and we will go back to the nation, because every body will say "Mein bhi Pradhan Mantri"!
Oh, but AIADMK+TMC cannot stand SG of CongI. AAP cannot stand TMC. JD(U) does not like RJD.
And this is not seen by the urban voter of yuppie class but what about the average Indian voter <- who is smarter than the undieTV following class.
Just look at the doctoring the TV News Channel does!
