Wow that is hilarious, tragic, dumb and stupid...
He kept repeatin, it seems from his notes.. same answer for most qns.. It was a poor imitation of George W Bush would do.. At least George W Bush was very confident when he blabbered.

Seems more like someone was holding up giant placards in the background behind arnab to keep pappu focused on the straight and narrow. Pathetic and spineless performance for an alleged 42 year old hell bent on systemic changes. Face made up like a lakme model too.

All in all, it is sad to see that Indian voters are now prisoners of paid-mediamen paid by MNC-owners and Missionaries. The mess is because is because Nationalists activists followed BJP-leaders whose goal was never to strengthen India or Indians, but only to strengthen themselves and their fiefdoms.
It would seem that expect Rahul Mehta ji, everyone else in this country is paid.

Indian journalists and others seem to have no respect of law and the judiciary in india: This is what the world thinks of indian journalists disregard to the judiciary.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-ePJ7KIEkY

Even after courts have cleared NM, everyone keeps harping on about the 2002 riots - from RG to AK. So does that mean the ruling from courts is of little relevance? Is that why we don't need to care about the law? Why bother having law and judges and the whole judiciary when noone respects the outcome?

Mr. Gardner puts this very eloquently when he says "You have absolutely no respect for your own supreme court"

+1000!

EXACTLY sir!

Put in another way, Imagine if Lord Krsna was as fickle as the people here. He attacked Karna when Karna was at his weakest. Infact this is always the case, the soldier attacks his enemy when he is at his weakest. He doens't "feel sorry" and give up like most people are doing here. Perhaps you guys should read the story of Henry Tandey who (probably like many of you) felt sorry for Hitler in the middle of the battlefield and spared him. Everyone knows the rest of that history.

So stop being WEAK and look at it for what it is. A sympathy call which you are answering to.

For want of a better thread let me post here. For starters please read Rudradevji's post in the Namo interview poll thread. One abiding notice that I get from RaGa's interview is that the destructive, for Hindu society, IrBM (Irretrievable Breakdown of Marriage) bill will be brought in to catch urban women votes for the congress. So in addition to caste and class warfare (as exemplied by AAP) we will also have gender warfare. Note that as per provisions of IrBM while both sides can claim US style no fault divorce woman can veto man's demand if she feels it will impact her financially. Additionally explicit sections have been inserted into the act to allow courts to give away not only a man's self acquired property, irrespective of whether it was acquired before or after marriage, but also a man's share in his ancestral property. As is the nature of other dhimmi laws in India, this law is only for Hindus and gender neutral provisions of man claiming share of woman's property, acquired or inherited is not there. So man's property will be divided but not woman's. Intelligent BRF readers are advised to read this in conjunction with the US press report saying that a woman's economic lot improves with conversion to Christianity to see where all this is leading too.

The real danger of such acts is break down of marriage system. Why will men want to be part of a system that is completely biased in favor of women which can be used to blackmail and impoverish them? Why not simply go for live-in relationship or dating or maybe gay relationship? And there will be some opportunist women or bad apples that will want to take advantage of such unilaterally biased laws.

Already the dowry laws are really bad. Many men have been victimized due to them unfairly. These laws are even used to threaten them. So, basically, to make the marriage easy to break and unstable or atleast unhappy by pitting the husband against the wife. When the marriage is so easy to break, unstable and unhappy, who would want to get married?

Combine this sort of laws with the psyops being conducted by the media. One show by Aamir tried to portray that women are at a threat from men(their husbands in particular).

Once the marriage system is broken, everyone will be vulnerable. Both men and women. They will just nothing more than glorified labour working for the corporations and then spending that money to buy from corporations. Labours and clients. Many a times clients are labours and labours are clients for a conglomerate(including the sarkaar).

And they do this to only Hindhus!

I think its about time for people to stop claiming Hindhu legal status and simply claim legality of either caste, region or sect and demand special provisions based on these identities just as extended to Mo-ists and X-ists.

According to law, Hindhu legal status is just not worth it. Its better to lay claim to being a dalith, Brahmin, OBC, Vaishnava, Shaiva, North-Bhaaratheeya, South-Bhaaratheeya, or some such thing.

How can anybody and their uncle introduce any changes to Hindhu marriage act or inheritance acts without having any discussion or debate with Hindhus or Hindhu leaders? But the same cannot be done about Mo-ist or X-ist marriage or inheritance laws!

^^^ The Goras have identified Hindu cultural traditions as the glue that keeps the society together, and are attacking it with full force. An example being this lesbian/Gay legalizing thing. Then they were organising kissing festivals in India where random men and women were supposed to come together and give kisses to each other. They are hell bent on wrecking the institution of marriage through lopsided laws so live-in relationships become safer and more convenient for men. Soft ***** in newspapers, TV serials denigrating social customs ... Jains being declared non-Hindus ... Gay parades ... it is all part of an elaborate plan for social engineering. Congress party is the main agent through which this agenda is being implemented, and they are in a hurry.

^^So it's quite clear from yesterday's RaGa's interview that he was signalling to non-vocal but listening urban women voters. Women may not be as vocal about their political choices but may exercise an independent choice at the ballot box.

In a big way, NaMo is gaining big support from women voters, I do not know if it is more with rural women or whether the trend is reflected in urban women. For some strange reason, BJP is coming out as a more rural/semi-urban party than an urban party (which it is made out to be in MSM).

The Gandhi clan has lived in India in secluded villas that do not belong to them. Sonia Gandhi had been living at 10 Janpath since the time of Indira Gandhi.

They have acquired further lands. Robert Vadra has been one on a wild spree. But the Gandhis have never shown their wealth to be that high.

Now all Indian PMs were the gentle kind who did not throw out the Deemak Queen from 10 Janpath after Rajiv Gandhi death. VP Singh, Chandra Shekhar, PV Narsimha Rao, Deve Gowda, IK Gujral, ABV, MMS, all bowed and accepted Sonia Gandhi's vaulted status.

Now if NaMo comes and asks the Dynasty to give an account of all these foundations, villas, etc. as well as goes out to nail Robert Vadra, one can wonder where would the dynasty move to.

If the dynasty cannot feel like royalty here in India, with villas and security, they would not like to stay back either.

The Deemak Queen is old, diseased and home-sick.

Sonia’s Retirement Plan
Raul baba's body language in Arnab interview displayed something which should not be in anyones body language, atleast not in politics.
His constant titing of his head and body sideways
His constant change of head position.
His constant nodding

The common denominator is that of "fear".
The give away was the sweat on his forehead and the nervous smile all throughout the interview. The other giveaway was he tilted his whole body backwards when Arnab asked about Swamy's claim about his education quals from cambridge.
Now the question is why is he so afraid? What is he afraid of? Who is he afraid off?
He is not some middle class guy trying to crack an interview with some head honcho in a MNC with some questionable mentionables in a CV?
This guy is possibly the richest Gandhi in India and ability to silence anyone anywhere on the planet with the kind of money and power.
Does someone have some kind of leverage against the Dynasty to blackmail them and scare them? Some skeletons perhaps unearthed.

Why Rahul may be happier walking off into the sunset
First, he is nervous and not comfortable under the arclights. He couldn’t hide his discomfiture in front of a TV camera as he fidgeted and avoided eye contact repeatedly. Second, he probably means well, but is unsure how to make sense of two contradictory forces in his life: his troubled inheritance and his underlying beliefs.

One suspects that he is not a dynast by inclination; dynastic expectations have been thrust on him. Third, there’s a sharp divergence between what he said and what he may really believe in – as was apparent from his uncertain and shifty body language. Fourth, for a politician, he showed no will to power.

When asked direct questions, he pouted unconvincing philosophy. It is obvious that Arnab Goswami’s tough and direct questions forced him to fib – whether it was on Narendra Modi, or the comparisons between 2002 and 1984, or his unease with corruption in the Congress and other people’s corruption.

This leads me to conclude that the only resolution of the dilemma facing him lies outside his party. And possibly outside politics too. He has to forsake his inheritance to be really effective as a person with some aims of making a difference to society. As a politician thrust into a position of power, he will probably be a disastrous ruler. You can’t rule well if you do not believe power is important to achieving something. You can't do good if you feel guilty about the mere exercise of power.
Rahul was distinctly uncomfortable with all the questions the anchor posed to him about Modi, or corruption or his own prime ministerial ambitions. He always avoided these questions by emphasising that these were not the questions that bothered him, but how to change the “system”. The word system, as my colleague points out, appeared over 70 times in the interview even though Goswami asked him nothing about the system. Rahul said: “The thing that I see is that the system in this country needs to change, I don't see anything else and I am blind to everything else. I am blind because I saw people I love destroyed by the system. I am blind because the system everyday is unfair to our people…”.

Twitterati teases Rahul Baba over Times Now interview

Former IBN7 editor and Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Ashutosh wrote on twitter “Only similarity between RaGa and NaMo is that after hearing them both speak you get inspired to vote for BJP”.

Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja without missing the opportunity commented “For once, Rahul Gandhi made Indians realize that a silent PM is better than a dumb one!” [one kind of dumb better than another]

Even the much joked about Sir Alok Nath evoked emotions saying “Chaiwala is a better speaker than so called Cambridge pass out” and “If BJP wins the upcoming election, Rahul Gandhi will be given equal credit as Narendra Modi”

Business tycoon Viajy Mallya tweeted “I heard this long ago. So true after I watched #ArnabVsRahul.'When life throws u a Rahul, make it a Dravid not a Gandhi."

Cricket expert Harsha Bhogle listed the factor of so-called connection issue tweeting that “there are questions on this Rahul Gandhi interview and there are answers but i am searching for a connection.”

Kiran Bedi tweeted, “ It ssems Mr Rahul Gandhi had some parroted answers to all questions asked---youth, systems, closed party, women, RTI…”

BJP’s young political face Anurag Thakur says , “It's like he came prepared for an exam & the question paper changed at the last minute!"

Sirji,
I remember distinctly reading about Indira Gandhi planning to settle in the UK. I think this was after Nehru's death and before she became successful in politics. It seems she sent out feelers to UK to look in to the possibilities. So, you can not say that they will never leave. Sonia will always be able to regain/reacquire Italian citizenship, so it is much easier that Mrs Gandhi trying to go to the UK.

If we agree this is a dynasty, then let me ask how long have dynasties lasted in India? The Mughal dynasty lasted for 6 generations, before it disintegrated as king makers took over and placed mediocre/incompetent rulers on the throne. Other Indian dynasties were much shorter. Going by that historical precedence, Nehru-Gandhi dynasty is also ripe to dissolve soon.
