Life will throw situations when people have to quit being wishy washy and take sides. Congress and BJP offer stark contrast in 2014. Parties will be known for picking the sides. People and the nation will enjoy or suffer the consequences of their voting. 2014 is as important as 1947. Likes of Modi will now be more in number. Ofcourse,that parallel cannot be stretched too far.But what to do, 'we expect' our exemplary people to be Sri Rama,Harishchandra,Dadhichi,Janaka.Its stupid to have such delusions yet Narendrabhai is LARGER than LIFE and unfortunately much is riding on his personality than the collective appeal and leadership of BJP.The BJPs fine state leaders are are at the helm as CMs.The BJP is weak/non existent in many states and its Central leadership is nothing much to write about.Think of D4 and 'loh' purush.

The personal attacks on Modi are due to silent encouragement of Dilli BJP Billis. I think that now the understanding is that Congress will let BJP come to power but Modi will not be PM. Then the BJP non-Modi PM will reciprocate by not pursuing Nehru family. But the problem in this scenario would be mass rebellion in cadre and refusal of Modi to co-operate.

I think that in my own lifetime I am seeing a Modern Day Mahabharat or War of Panipat, which is not only between Dharma and paap but also will decide destiny of India.

Teesta, husband denied anticipatory bail (Chindu)

The Bombay High Court on Friday refused to grant anticipatory bail to social activists Teesta Setalvad and her husband Javed Anand who have been booked by the Gujarat police on charges of cheating and breach of trust in a matter related to an alleged museum which was to be constructed at Gulbarg Society in Ahmedabad. They have been directed to appear before a Gujarat court within this period.

The court had granted interim relief to them on January 10, 2014 protecting them from arrest till Friday. The prosecution had been given three weeks to file a reply to the application.

BJP has started playing games on Telangana and seeking its reference to Home Ministry select committee headed by Venkayya Naidu. This indicates that D4 hold is getting weak on Parliamentory party. Sushma is big T supported and with her as head of Parliamentory party BJP should have jumping into the support of mafia queen but is not as per the reports. RSS is also angry with the kind of behaviour BJP local and nation leaders shown on Telangana and Sushma is the main person behind this recent activity on Telanagna. Allowing free run to mafia in AP games is not longer possible for BJP with GE is fast approching but Shshma was actively helping mafia. The change in stand indicative of Sushma and D4 loss of power and say in party matters at Delhi. Yaddi coming back already shown that their power in state level decisions are gone. Even Ananatha Kumar said to have secreatly met yaddi and patched up things.

Sushama now look for her long term political future. May be she joins PAAP gang

While any stable govt will certainly do better than UPA II on the economy, inflation and jobs front, Modi will also do better on the security front simply because given the kind of scrutiny he has been under in the past decade (unprecedented is the word), he will be especially careful to ensure that his tenure is riot free.

Unlike the average 'sekular' leader like a Mulayam or a Tarun Gogoi, Modi simply cannot the PR mass-riots will being on his watch. He has certainly managed that in Gujarat since 2002.

Further, chances are he will go out of his way to appear fair and non-discriminatory towards all communities. Recent events seem to bear this out...

There. That seems to get through and soften the mild sceptics, I found (only anecdotal with one data point, though).

BTW, #NaMoInMeerut is the twitter hastag for today's (yet another) blowout attendance rally in the heartland... and Meerut is very important indeed... the whole of west UP will swing one way or another based on perceptions and realities.... right now NM has the momentum... Everybody taking his name and trying to associate with it... here's a jhaanki

3 hrs to go for the rally to even start and already crowds at the venue are surging past expectations...

Meanwhile, a transparent and well-organized funds collection drive... good thing. Once a person donates to cause, they become more committed than usual (having bought into the product, they rationalize the purchase all the more vehemently...)

SSwamy seems to be true. Jijaji is actively seeking to get out of India and his relationship with mafia?? Leading bakara to kabela is the proper discrbtion. News of Sushma getting a harsh lecture in fornt of LKA on Telangana and not understanding mafia drama in AP and lending unconditional and active support to the same seems to have angered AJ and LKA seems to have kept quite during the lecture. Sushma now either ensure Parliament takes up Heli bribes to Mafia queen or join PAAP immediately.

Vinay Katiyar who spoke just before clearly pitching for RJB issue. Lost in the development mantra, its important that lotus and namo not lose sight of this core-est of core voters... on that original issue that sparked the lotus revolution.
