Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan - Jan 04, 2014

Shariah already in force in Pakistan : JI
LAHORE : Amir Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Syed Munawar Hasan Saturday said that the rulers can pull the country out of crisis by implementing the Constitution of 1973 in its true spirit.
In a statement, Munawar Hasan said the Constitution clearly accepts Qur’an and Sunnah as a supreme law and pledges that no law will be enacted in the country that is in violation of Qur’an and Sunnah.
“The Constitution of Pakistan was chalked out in the light of Qur’an and Sunnah and, in this way, Shariah is very much already in place in the country,” he added.
Opposition leader in National Assembly, Khursheed Shah said a system based on Qur’an and Sunnah is already in force in Pakistan. “We pray for the success of govt committee engaged in peace talks with the Taliban,” he said.

All Pakistan Textile Mills Association being so very Pakistani  . Usual Mohammadden religion fired braggadocio that a Momin Pakistani is superior to a Kaafir Indian despite overwhelming indications otherwise till the time when required to prove the point on the ground where upon a hasty retreat is beaten on the pretext that Kaafirs are a perfidious lot who are up to nefarious schemes to nobble the Momin :rotfl: .

Thus claims by All Pakistan Textile Mills Association that “Pakistan still enjoys huge advantage over India in cotton textiles”.

This “huge advantage” despite “internal situation where energy shortages and cost has cut 20 percent of the production. Moreover it pointed out that electricity cost in Pakistan is 15 cents per unit compared with only 9 cents in India. The interest rates in Pakistan are 20 percent higher than India, increasing the financial cost of the industry. Foreign buyers visit India freely but are reluctant to visit Pakistan because of law and order situation. Lastly the letter adds that India is net exporter of cotton after fulfilling its domestic needs while cotton production in Pakistan always remain short forcing the industry to resort to import of this vital input.”

Notwithstanding the “huge advantage” the "All Pakistan Textile Mills Association has conveyed its serious reservations regarding according non-discriminatory market access (NDMA) to India" :

Pakistan enjoys huge advantage over India in textiles

After talking to a bunch of people distantly related to the driver of brother of the fellow who delivers newspapers at my place, a set of disjoint thoughts

1. Apparently the Khakhis are more than capable of mortally wounding the talibs with an operation. Especially because they dont care about collateral damage. But they dont want to do that due to many reasons. They want to preserve the talibs for post 2014 withdrawal against Afghanistan and India. They feel that in the past few years they got the short end of the stick and their authority has been undermined, so why should they sacrifice blood to save the musharraf of the civilians

2. Badmash and his brother are not bothered or worried at all. As long as the talibs dont touch Pakjab, they are not worried at all. Fighting the talibs means they will set off a few bums in Pakjab, Pakjabi soldiers would get killed, talking to them and cutting a deal which includes not attacking the heartland would mean some other province pays for it.

3. A rider to the talks is that the talks should be limited to the areas under Talibs control. Which means the tribal badlands, NWFP (now called KP). I expect them to cut a deal like the Niaz-e-adl for the Malakand division. To jog your memories:
http://www.dawn.com/news/457187/sharia- ... igns-law-2

4. Any deal they cut is going to be temporary and will be win-win on both sides. "You fellows do your own thing, regroup, re-arm to fight the Afghans, we dont disturb you" types.
Pakistani cotton have very long fibers, is very white, and the yarn made from it is tight. Mostly grown near wheat fields gives them these characteristics. Indian cotton is darker and its fibers are shorter. Growing in fields next to rice causes this. One meter of Pakistani yarn makes as much cloth as as 10 meters of Indian yarn. So obviously Pakistani textiles have an advantage.

BTW most of those machines were probably made by Lakshmi machine works and imported through dubai

I heard Baki wallets are made from high quality human foreskins. A few rubs and it turns into a suitcase.

Personally, I doubt this. It's not about military might, but questions of common people and morale. The Baki army has to fight it own people from some of its own recruiting areas.

JourAnal From Moenjo Daro to Daily Ch..dha RO
“Marsoon, marsoon, Sindh na daisun” were amongst the last words of Hosh Muhammad Sheedi, the commander of the Talpur Army who died fighting the British Army led by Sir Charles Napier. The willingness to fight the invaders has never been as relevant as now. Yet, at the national level, there is none. The confusion largely owes to the lack of clarity about who we are. As an example, Mr Imran Khan relatively recently asserted his intention of coming to Sindh, relentlessly and multiple times like Sultan Mahmood Ghaznavi. Mr Khan has made one of the common mistakes; mistakes about our identity, about the beginning of our history. To give an example outside of our context, Miriam Ferguson, a former governor of Texas, is attributed as saying, “If English was good enough for Jesus Christ, it ought to be good enough for the children of Texas.”The Sindh Festival’s opening at Moenjo Daro was, at least, an attempt at finding out identity. There were people living in organised, planned communities, long, long before Muhammad Bin Qasim came to Sindh. Sultan Ghaznavi and Muhammad Bin Qasim are no doubt central figures in our history. However, these and others like them are not all there is to us.
One common refrain for anything to do with any particular culture and ethnicity is the criticism that it is somehow divisive. We are all Pakistanis and we are one, etc. Well intentioned as it might be, it proves to be quite silly on the slightest bit of examination. One preferred variation of this critique is that whenever ‘Shias’ are killed for being ‘Shia’, well-meaning patriotic people are quick to point out that it is appropriate that we say ‘Pakistanis’ have been killed, so as not to create divisions. All right, however, why stop there, why not say ‘Asians’, or better still, ‘humans’ have died.
To celebrate the culture of Sindh through a festival named the Sindh Festival does not create any provincial divisions; on the contrary, it seems to be the only way that a sustainable national identity can be formed. They would rather have a ‘Pakistan Festival’. Perfectly reasonable, however, identities do not start from the top or the most recent. Unfortunately, we have practically no national identity right now, apart from ‘we are all Muslims’ (makes the white part of the flag quite redundant, does it not), and hence, by some logical extension, ‘we are all Arabs’. The culture of Sindh (both the Urdu-speaking and Sindhi-speaking), of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), Balochistan, Seraikis, Hazaras need to be celebrated. To insist upon there being one nation in Pakistan as a starting point is to insist upon a losing position.
The Sindh Festival has achieved what it set out to do, to create interest in Moenjo Daro, to create interest in Sindh. The festival sets out to do another thing, namely to destroy the stereotypes and one would think, it has been successful in that endeavour. Criticism of the festival can be made, some legitimate and some not so. Yet, it has generated a conversation. It has shown that the culture of Sindh is not a monolith and nor is it fixed in time; fusion between the ancient and the modern was what the inaugural ceremony of the Sindh Festival allowed. If there can be a similar K-P festival, perhaps, the lazy narrative sold in the rest of the country (mostly in Punjab) of romanticising our ‘annoyed brothers’ might be put to rest.
The fault lines in this country are deepening to the point of implosion, God forbid. The fault lines are not only, ethnic and linguistic, but also rural-urban. They will not go away by us pretending they do not exist. Perhaps, the objective should not be to make them disappear, that never works, but create a common thread, where everybody gets to maintain individuality. We have tried the top-down model once and have not still fully recovered from the aftermath.
Raja Porus, Hosh Sheedi and Bhagat Singh are what we need; the natives who have refused to be cowered down. The dancing girl of Moenjo Daro belongs to an era before our primetime chat shows. She would have been lynched within hours now. Yet, the dancing girl of Moenjo Daro is ‘us’ and from long before hysterical anchorpersons invaded. We need to have cultural festivals to know what is it that we stand for. What is it which distinguishes us from the adversary? Presently, we and the opponent have almost the exact same claim; unnervingly the opponent’s claim is that they are better than what we claim to be.The Sindh Festival is us pushing back. The Sindh Festival is a sign of what is possible, even now. Mian Sahib, Mr Khan, your move.

It is a Barrett M107 .50 Cal. Some were sold/gifted to the Pakistani military a few years ago. Not surprising where they would end up eventually.

By the way, Barrett is not the same as Beretta :). They are different companies.

1. Ceasefire agreed : Headway claimed in talks with TTP
ISLAMABAD: Talks with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have made some headway after the group agreed to cease attacks during the nascent dialogue process, a senior official familiar with the matter revealed on Sunday.

“Yes, I can confirm that the TTP has agreed to a ceasefire,” the official told The Express Tribune. He requested not to be named in the report as he was not authorised to speak to the media on the matter.
2. Clash : 9 killed in exchange of fire in Balochistan

QUETTA : Nine people were killed in an exchange of fire between two groups on the border of Sindh and Balochistan, Express News reported on Sunday.

Balochistan Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti told the Express News that the dead include a peace force officer, two suspects and six civilians.

He added that banned outfit Baloch Republican Army (BRA) had attacked a house in Dera Bugti last night killing three women, two children and two men.

On Sunday (today) morning, tribesmen chased the BRA suspects to Jaffarabad where a firing incident between the two parties resulted in the death of one tribesman and two suspects, Bugti further told the Express News.

He stated that firing has stopped, and police and Levies Force have been mobilised.

That reminds me , will someone send this pic to the Barret company (Tennessee) publicly say on facebook - this should be a great PR excersise of how the weapons they are supplying to TSPA are helping them to keep peace by helping negotiations between two parties instead of usual one sided mud hut flattening carpet bombing oppression by TSPA.

Tell them how the Utah gunmaker (dayum those dutty Mormons) - Desert Tech was wrong afterall in refusing to supply guns to Pakbarian Army.

2) Introduce Sharia law in courts
Wasn't that already in force? Raymond Davis was let off using 'blood-money' law, Qadri was decleared a Ghazi and showered with rose petals....
3) Introduce Islamic system of education in both public and private educational institutions.
So will it be only one text book from K - 12? Will primers sponsored by the US that include 'jihad', 'bandook' etc. be permissible?
13) Stop supporting the US on the war on terror.
So what happens to the dekonomoney?
14) Replace the democratic system of governance with the Islamic system.
Inshallah!
15) Stop all relations with the US.
What about relations with all weather friend? Is that halal?

My suggestions to RAPEs -

1) Now that you are negotiating with the Al-Bakistan founding fathers, you should negotiate a sharia exemption for at least one luxury hotel in Isloo or Karachi where you can hold your literature festivals, have your whiskeys and continue to fight for Kashmir and Palestine without fears of getting beheaded.

2) Please make note of every speech by founding fathers. It will save you time and energy later when you don't have to hold annual debates about "What did Al Bakistan founder say in his speech on August 14th 2014?"

Sooth Asia Trade Potential
The year 2014 will be crucial as the US withdraws its troops from Afghanistan. At the same time, India-Pakistan rivalry there has the potential to intensify and undermine any fragile stability that may exist. In this situation, trade could be a mechanism for mitigating tension between the two countries.
If trade relations are normalised, Pakistan will get access to a market of over 1.2 billion consumers and India will have access to a market of over 180 million people. {Yindia should be so thankful for access to 180 M bhooke nange Bakis}The increased economic activity will lead to more employment opportunities and higher stakes for people on both sides in maintaining peaceful ties.
OK, now some Sooth Asia statistics to edumacate us:
According to studies, South Asia remains one of the least integrated regions in the world. Pakistan and India account for almost 92% of South Asia’s GDP, 85% of the region’s population and 80% of its surface area. Despite that, trade between the two constitutes only 20% of regional trade. :rotfl:
Pakistan has the largest export potential in textiles, jewellery, precious metals and base metals, accounting for 45% while India can augment its exports to Pakistan in three categories – machinery, mechanical appliances and electrical equipment. These three categories comprise 54% of India’s export potential. Therefore, it is clearly in the interest of both countries to find a political solution to their dispute.
Butt, India being the elder brother must show more concessions and let Bakistanis have unfettered access:
India should allow Pakistan to access Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan via its territory and Pakistan should give transit rights to India to access Afghanistan. This significantly impacts the trade potential, even with other neighbours.

X posted from the "Baluchistan: The Story of Another Pakistan Military Genocide" thread.

A blow for freedom from occupation by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is struck by Baloch / Balochi / Baluchi freedom fighters. Gas pipeline built to steal Baloch natural gas by the Islamic Republic’s Punjab Province is blowup by freedom fighters:

BRA Freedom Fighters blow up three gas pipelines near Rahim Yar Khan

I do hope that our Government will substantially increase the diplomatic and moral support given for Balochistan’s freedom struggle and also absorb the lesson every time there is an itch to import natural gas via a pipeline passing through the Islamic Republic of Pakistan that gas piplines in the Islamic Republic are very vulnerable even when the Pakistani's are inclined to ensuring their security.

Pakistan Taliban Has 500 Suicide Bombers, Cleric Says - Bloomberg
“You should know that at the moment they have at least 400 to 500 female suicide bombers in Waziristan and other tribal areas,” said Aziz, former head cleric of Islamabad’s Lal Masjid, or Red Mosque, referring to the TTP. “The government should realize the situation and their demands.”
.................
“They are fighting for the implementation of Sharia,” Aziz said at the seminary, where some 1,300 female students are studying. “It’s the law of nature that when people don’t get their rights, they pick up arms.”

The man who sold Al-Bakistan.

Im "duh" Dim is the man. I say he did not sell al-bakistan, he is poised to save it (from the liberals and rapettes).
No, there’s another villain in this piece. Imran Khan. Taliban Khan. The man who smashed this country on the rocks of extremism.
The problem with Khan, the problem for all of us, is as simple as it’s ugly: he’s mainstreamed extremism.
Imagine there was no Imran.
Taliban Khan’s greatest gift is his power of simplification.
Drinking from the fountain of refreshing truth, oblivious to its source. Lapping up Imran. Lapping up Taliban Khan, the man who sold Pakistan.
Of course the thesis is faulty from the start. What is there to sell in al-bakistan?

Is Cyril a Christian? How soon before Immy's gang turns to the usual Paki method of getting rid of minorities?

Yes, he is. He was also the journalist who investigated and "fought" against the French restaurant in Isloo where Pakistanis were not allowed and had it closed down. His country's constitution openly discriminates against him because of his religion yet he chose to fight some French restaurant. As always, misplaced priorities of Pakistanis.

Could be Goan origin. After 1962 "Operation Vijay", some Goans went to Krachi as they could stand being Indians. Ran into one descendent in the mid 1980s who was produn to say they were from Krachi and not Panaji.

The dilemma for others and RAPEs is they thought TSP would be a safe haven and since Islam was the in thing under the invaders and later colonials they could lord it over. Until Bhutto and Zia unleashed Islamization.

Interesting. I didn't know. Thanks. It seems you are right - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic ... wNqG3kqny4

Why did some Goans prefer to migrate to Pakistan when they could migrate to Portugal?

From them. They wanted to be near India but not in India.
The reporter who uncovered the Paki massacres during 1971 was also of Goan origin.

In the end its all about self identity.
What do you want to be known as?
When India is prosperous even TBTA Bakis will claim to be Indians.
