Ramana, so was East Pakistan Dec. 1971. And May 11, 1998 and the decision to float a large international bond issue in the face of the "Sanctions". Not enough leaders around to do what is needed, that's why these scams keep being pulled. If i were Putin I would send the Vodka Revolution into eastern Ukraine and liberate the entire area east of the Dnieper. Now if Moldavia holds a referendum as well.. it could get interesting.

Ukraine crisis: Moscow threatens to cut gas supplies to Europe in retaliation for sanctions
The prospect of a European energy crisis loomed last night as Moscow threatened to impose retaliatory sanctions, and the new Prime Minister of Ukraine said his country could suffer shortages if help was not received from the West.
Russia supplies 30 per cent of Europe's gas and a number of the Baltic states are almost entirely reliant on Russia.

Yesterday, the Russian foreign ministry labelled this week's EU sanctions, in which a further 12 people close to President Vladimir Putin have had their assets frozen and a travel ban imposed, as "divorced from reality".

With both Brussels and Washington now threatening further "targeted measures" this week, Moscow made it clear that it was considering tit-for-tat sanctions. "Russia reserves the right to give an adequate response to the undertaken action," a spokesman said.

Ukraine's Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, highlighted precarious energy supplies during a visit to Berlin, saying gas from the EU might be needed. He has previously said he fears Moscow plans to use energy as a "new nuclear weapon" to intimidate its neighbours.

In 2006, when Russia cut off supplies over a dispute with Ukraine over gas prices, many parts of Europe ran out of gas. Bulgaria shut down its main industrial plants, and Slovakia declared a state of emergency. The situation is now far less worrying. Reserves are high and Europe's gas supply system has improved following a £1.3bn investment. G7 leaders will meet in The Hague tomorrow, and energy security and Ukraine's national elections on 25 May are due to be on the agenda.

Ukraine crisis: Is Russia moving in?

The urgency of the situation was highlighted last week, when Europe's leaders gave EU staff 90 days to find ways to limit Russia's energy power play. With Ukraine's election now two months away, international observers are already in the country.

Yesterday, as Russian troops stormed the last remaining Ukrainian-held airbase in Crimea, more than 5,000 people gathered in the eastern city of Donetsk to demand a referendum on whether they, too, could split and join Russia.

Last night, the Foreign Office issued new advice warning against "all but essential" travel to Donetsk, as well as Lugansk and Kharkiv due to "regional tensions".

OK, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Lugansk. Sounds like the Red Army rolling back towards the west again. Third Battle of Kharkov: Soviet Lietenant General Markian Popov?

Can u believe, the Soviets suffered SEVENTY THOUSAND casualties there just in Kharkov?
Between 13 January and 3 April 1943, an estimated 500,000 Red Army soldiers took part in what was known as the Voronezh–Kharkov Offensive.[1][4] In all, an estimated 6,100,000 Soviet soldiers were committed to the area, with another 659,000 out of action with wounds. In comparison, the Germans could account for 2,200,000 personnel on the Eastern Front, with another 100,000 deployed in Norway.[citation needed] As a result, the Soviets deployed around twice as many personnel as the Wehrmacht in early February.[33] However, as a result of their over-extension and the casualties they had taken during their offensive, at the beginning of Manstein's counterattack the Germans could achieve a tactical superiority in numbers, including the number of tanks present—for example, Manstein's 350 tanks outnumbered Soviet armor almost seven to one at the point of contact.[31]

it gives me joy to see Putin takeover Crimea.. change demographics to legalize claims - however, it does seem Ukraines Nationalist infact played into his hands.. Or maybe it was intentional and done by Putin Himself to quash "Humanitarian" grounds being abused by the imperial west?

China also used demographic changes to secure Urumqi and tibet.. Indias assumption that Article 370 and autonomy will make Kashmiri Muslims favour India is naive at best. Goodness percieved to stem from a weakness is never acknowledged.

Some indian channels show POK as Pakistan.. !! wonder why Mr. Manish tewari cannot take them to task! perhaps the ploy is to build the apathy of Hindu Slaves and gradually ease them into bending over for sodomy... they just will stop caring and the leaders supposed to be ON WATCH are idiots who cant counter this.. simply exploit.

What is critical is we learn and take notes with the way the world is.. - As an Indian, we may or may not like each other.. but we need to work together , so we can live well.. and command respect! not depend on the goodness of others to give it to us!

As a commoner, we cant do much. except find solutions and force the idiots ruling us to engage and upgrade? HOW ?

I would not want to spend a single drop of my frustration in empty talk.. i request people on this forum visit my facebook page and HELP!

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fix-Demo ... 327?ref=hl

i will soon be registering this as an NGO, and then seek funds to sponsor debates across India to push this into national consciousness. And to approach all political parties to support this initiative..as it is totally non-partisan.

I am looking for qualified and credible people who choose to invest efforts for FREE , to promote and be/help find powerful trustees.

Indeed i have full conviction that this is the optimum way to evolve democracy.. so dont assume this will fail. Its just a matter of time before i succeed or some1 is "erected" to get "Inspired" and do it.

I think the grand mandrins of US policy want a revivial of a new Cold War. I heard a cacophony of experts on NPR and all were invoking images of Cold War to describe the curretn situation when its hardly that. I think the West's economic revival is floundering and they need a war economy to revive it.

Wars used to be great GDP multiplier, but now its not like that anymore, unless we go back to Star Wars projects which in the first place was to bankarupt SU but also started the deficit financing of USG thanks to GOP bhajan mandal who "deitified" Regan and deficit financing is fine sloganeering

These days we don't have wars in conventional sense (like Vietnam, Indo Pak wars, Arab Israeli wars upto 1973 Yomkippur..

To shut the war mongering crowd in US just say DRAFT thats it everybody will go back to Sanctions theme...

http://rt.com/news/lavrov-g8-crimea-kerry-933/

Russia not clinging to G8 if West does not want it – Russian FM
Russia is not clinging to the G8 format, as all major world problems can be discussed at other international venues such as G20, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

“The G8 is an informal club, no one gives out membership cards and no one can expel members,” Lavrov told a media conference at the Hague. “If our Western partners believe that this format has exhausted itself, let it be. We are not clinging to it.”

He went on to say that many believe that the G8 has already fulfilled its mission as many issues are now discussed at the G20 forum.

“Generally speaking, there are also other formats for considering many questions, including the UN Security Council, the Middle East Quartet and the P5+1 on the Iranian nuclear problem,” Lavrov told journalists.

The Minister also commented on earlier reports regarding Australia considering not inviting President Vladimir Putin to the November G20 meeting, which is going to be held in Brisbane.

“The G20 was not established by Australia, which voiced the proposal not to invite Russia to the meeting. We created the format all together,” Lavrov said.

Russia’s top diplomat is in the Netherlands, where representatives of over 50 states and chiefs of the UN, the EU, the International Atomic Energy Agency and the European Police Office have gathered for the Nuclear Security Summit to address the threat of nuclear terrorism.

On the sidelines of the gathering, Lavrov met with US Secretary of State John Kerry and yet again discussed the Ukraine question, which has caused quite a chill in relations between the two powers.

Both Moscow and Washington understand that Ukraine needs constitutional reform, Lavrov said.

“We discussed the necessity to call on the authorities in Kiev to pay serious attention to the constitutional reform, which would take into consideration the interests of all Ukrainian regions,” he said.

However, Lavrov admitted, that it is their evaluation of the situation and they “cannot impose” this idea on the Ukrainian leadership. Still, it would be very difficult to overcome the “Ukraine’s deep internal crisis” without such a reform, the Russian minister believes.

According to Lavrov, Kerry realizes that it is necessary to “push” the Ukrainian authorities into fulfilling the February-21 agreement on the crisis settlement, which was signed by ousted President Viktor Yanukovich, opposition leaders and foreign ministers of Germany, France and Poland.

On Friday, Ukraine's coup-imposed government and the EU signed the core elements of a political association agreement; this is part of the deal with the EU (that was predominantly economic) that Yanukovich put on hold in November, which resulted in mass bloody unrest and his ousting.

In Lavrov’s view, the coup-installed authorities in Kiev should have waited until a legitimate government was formed in the country after elections, and should have only then decided whether to sign an agreement with Brussels.

“Presidential elections were announced for the end May rather than December as it had been agreed upon in the February 21 accords. A constitutional reform should be carried out before the vote,” he said. “Perhaps, it would be right from all points of view, I would say it would be more ethical towards [Ukrainian] people to wait for a more legitimate situation in Kiev, and within the Ukrainian leadership before signing any agreements on behalf of their state.”

Meanwhile, G7 leaders – Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US – are also holding a gathering at The Hague. According to the media, the Ukraine issue is high on the agenda.

Here's a lovely googly from maverick Russian politico Zhirinovsjy, who wants the Ukraine to be divided along the lines of the erstwhile Ribbentrop-Molotov pact prior to WW2!

Crimea crisis: Putin adviser proposes division of Ukraine along Nazi-Soviet lines and says it's 'never too late to correct historical errors'
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 12925.html

A prominent political ally and advisor to Vladimir Putin has proposed splitting up Ukraine along the lines of an historical pact agreed between the Nazis and Soviet Union.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, widely regarded as a mouthpiece for the Russian president, proposed a redrawing of the borders of western Ukraine - which would involve regions being incorporated into the territories of Poland, Romania and Hungary.

He appeared to have written the letter in the days after Russia itself annexed the Crimea region of Ukraine last week, and suggested further referendums could be held to see further territory break away from Kiev.

Zhirinovsky wrote: “It's never too late to correct historical errors.”

The politician is the deputy speaker of the Duma, and his nationalist Liberal Democratic party largely backs President Vladimir Putin in the Russian parliament.

Sergei Sobolev, head of Ukraine's largest parliamentary faction, the Fatherland party, called him a “provocateur”.
“But Zhirinovsky often is the voice of Putin,” he added.

Zhirinovsky's letter, seen by Reuters, suggested Poland, Hungary and Romania, who are now in the European Union, might wish to take back regions which he said were in the past their territories.

The regions were incorporated into Ukraine when it was part of the Soviet Union at the end of World War Two and featured in a secret annex of the 1939 Molotov-Ribbentrop pact under which the Soviet and Nazi German foreign ministers carved up the area.

It was not clear whether the letter was serious or a publicity stunt. But it follows a crisis in relations between Moscow and Kiev since the Moscow-backed Viktor Yanukovich was ousted as Ukraine's president last month.

Zhirinovsky proposed Ukraine's Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia, Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Rovensky regions, together with Poland, Romania and Hungary hold referendums on whether the regions should break away from Ukraine.

Romania might wish to have Chernivtsi, Hungary the Zakarpattia region, and Poland the rest, he said.

The proposal would allow central Ukraine to be free of “unnecessary tensions” and the referendums would “bring prosperity and tranquillity to the Ukrainian native land,” the letter said.

Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Marcin Wojciechowski dismissed the letter as a “complete oddity” and regretted some Russians “still think in terms of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact.”

Alexandr Efremov, head of the parliamentary faction Party of Regions, Ukraine's former ruling party, said he did not support Zhirinovsky's proposal.

“Just as we have some intemperate people, Russia has some of them as well,” Efremov said at a briefing. “I do not support this (Zhirinovsky's) approach.”

Ukraine's government spokeswoman declined to comment.

Nice red rag to wave towards Russia by the Western losers, change of colour as they are better known for waving the white flag as in Vietnam,Iraq, etc.!

Ukraine crisis: Russia scathing on G8 suspension as fears grow over troops at border

World leaders suspended Russia from the G8 group of nations on Monday but stopped short of a permanent expulsion, despite a reported build-up of troops near Ukraine, amid concern that Western pressure has failed to dent President Vladimir Putin’s military ambitions.

Russia’s reaction was swift and scathing, with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov saying the Kremlin does not “cling to this format” of the G8. Moscow also imposed travel bans on 13 Canadian officials as the tit-for-tat diplomacy over the Ukrainian crisis showed no sign of subsiding.

Mr Lavrov also held face-to-face talks with Ukraine’s foreign minister Andrii Deshchytsia, marking the first official conversation between the two since Russia entered the Crimea. “We set forth our vision to establish good national dialogue taking into account all residents of Ukraine,” he said afterwards.

Earlier US President Barack Obama had called an extraordinary meeting of the other seven members of the G8 bloc of industrialised nations to try to forge a united position on the worst crisis in relations with Russia since the end of the Cold War. So far Washington has a taken a tougher line than the European Union, hitting oligarchs close to Mr Putin in moves the EU has so far shied away from.

Mr Obama’s deputy security adviser, Ben Rhodes, said the White House wanted a co-ordinated approach to any deeper economic sanctions, and “would like to see a steady ratcheting-up of that pressure” following Russia’s annexation of Crimea earlier this month.

After an hour-long evening meeting on the sidelines of a nuclear security summit in The Hague, the leaders of the US, Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Japan released a statement which made little new ground on further sanctions. It did, however, make clear that the G8 as a forum with Russia was indefinitely suspended.

“We will suspend our participation in the G8 until Russia changes course and the environment comes back to where the G8 is able to have a meaningful discussion,” the communiqué said. A planned G8 summit in Russia in June will be scrapped and replaced with a meeting of the remaining G7 nations the same month in Brussels.

David Cameron said last week that Russia’s permanent expulsion from the G8 must be discussed, but the language of the statement made no mention of expulsion or of any time-scale for the suspension. Diplomats said they wanted to leave the door open for Russia. “The way back in is clearly for Russia to change course,” said a Downing Street official. For now, however, “it is a group based on values, and Russia is not currently espousing the values the rest of us stand by”.

Mr Lavrov appeared unmoved. “If our Western partners believe the format has exhausted itself, we don’t cling to this format,” he said. “We don’t believe it will be a big problem if it doesn’t convene.”

A Ukrainian soldier stands guard outside a Ukrainian Army military camp set up on a field close to the Russian border in east Ukraine A Ukrainian soldier stands guard outside a Ukrainian Army military camp set up on a field close to the Russian border in east Ukraine

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Andriy Deshchytsya, said he understood that there were some benefits to leaving the diplomatic channels open, but he urged the West to pursue more aggressive sanctions. So far, the EU and US have each imposed travel bans and visa freezes on about 30 Russian and Ukrainian officials, with some crossover in the two lists.

They have however stopped short of broader economic sanctions such as arms embargoes and bans on energy imports which would hit at the heart of the Russian economy. Such sanctions would also have a knock-on effect within the EU, especially on Eastern European nations heavily reliant on Russian energy. Mr Deshchytsya said that the West’s action so far “is not enough to convince Russia not to go further” and urged them to move to deeper sanctions. “I think this is the way how we can solve this problem peacefully without using the military,” he said.

Some nations had argued that Russia’s annexation of the Crimea was enough to trigger serious sanctions. Now diplomats are saying that any further Russian incursions into eastern Ukraine would be the trigger.

President Putin insists he has no such ambitions, but both the White House and Mr Cameron expressed concern on Monday about reports of a Russian troop build-up near Ukrainian border.

“These reports are concerning and we need to send a very clear message to the Russian government and to President Putin that it would be completely unacceptable to go further into Ukraine,” Mr Cameron said.

Mr Deshchytsya cited the same intelligence and said “the possibility for military intervention is very high”, adding that civilians in the East were “ready to defend their homeland”. But there was some thaw between the two nations as Mr Deshchytsya met Mr Lavrov on the sidelines of the Hague summit.

One Russian politician suggested letting regions across Ukraine hold referendums on whether they want to break from Kiev, and even said Poland, Romania and Hungary should re-claim territory. Vladimir Zhirinovsky’s proposals reflect a strain of nationalism in the parliament.

Nato's top military commander Philip Breedlove said the Russian army deployed on its border with Ukraine is "very, very sizeable and very, very ready" .

He voiced concern that Russia could have Transdniestria in its sights after Crimea, saying that, in Russia's view, the separatist region of Moldova was the "next place where Russian-speaking people may need to be incorporated".

Over the weekend, Russian forces seized Ukrainian ships and military installations in Crimea, including a naval base near the eastern port of Feodosia, as Moscow seeks to consolidate its control over the peninsula it officially annexed last week following a controversial referendum considered illegal by Kiev and the West.

That is just one of the options available to Russia. Just what are the options available to the westst. In this case, they seem to have utterly miscalculated the options available to Russia.

Together with the recent spat with India and the fiasco in the gulf. The west can only count on the PRC. If the PRC decides to stay neutral. The game is up forthe west.

Come to think about it, this is a very good way to arm Iran. Just say that we have poor relations with Russia and hence no control over it's actions and Russia goes all the way and arms Iran with everything. Alibi for re-arming Iran is ready.

Iran is under UN sanctions that prohibit selling of Offensive Arms to Iran ....so Russia cannot breach any UN sanctions.

S-300 is possible as it was never under sanction as its considered Defensive Weapon ..Iran is already negotiating with Russia on alternative to the cancelled agreement on S-300.

Nuke Reactor yes but only under IAEA safeguard , They already have a preliminary agreement to build 2 Nuclear Reactor for Power Gen , It is not in Russia interest that Iran go Nuclear as this means Saudi would also do.

http://www.timesofisrael.com/iran-russi ... ar-plants/

“Iran and Russia reached a preliminary agreement to build at least two new nuclear power plants,” Iranian Atomic Energy Organization spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi told the news agency.

Note that things are not as bad as Western Media would say and there is no complete breakdown of Russia-West relations and beyond sanctions against specific individual there is not much done by both sides.

Beyond that its rhetoric , good to keep pot boiling ....till another hot story hits the headline.

BRICS have slammed recent reports ahead of the G20 meet to isolate Russian President Vladimir Putin or to place any restrictions on his participation at the G-20 summit in Australia later this year.

“The Ministers noted with concern, the recent media statement on the forthcoming G20 Summit to be held in Brisbane in November 2014. The custodianship of the G20 belongs to all Member States equally and no one Member State can unilaterally determine its nature and character,” said a joint BRICS statement on Monday. Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop had said earlier that Putin could be barred from attending the G20 Summit in November.

BRICS Foreign Ministers met on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit in the Hague on Monday to review cooperation among the bloc of five after the adoption of the eThekwini Action Plan of 2013.

The Ministers noted that the role of global governments should focus on “finance, security, information and production”.

“The BRICS agenda is not centered around any specific country or related issue and shares a common vision which drives it to also increasingly identify common areas for cooperation to assist with finding global solutions to global challenges,” noted the joint communiqué.

The BRICS meet convened by South African Foreign Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane was attended by her counterparts Sergey Lavrov, Salman Khurshid, Wang Yi and Carlos Antonio Paranhos, Under-Secretary General for Political Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The BRICS Ministers also discussed cybersecurity and challenges to peace and security, “notably the significant infringements of privacy and related rights in the wake of the cyber threats experienced, for which there is a need to address these implications in respect of national laws as well as in terms of international law”, said the statement.

BRICS would “continue to act as positive catalysts for inclusive change in the transformation process towards a new and more equitable global order” asserted the Ministers.

BRICS have opposed sanctions against the Syrian government and have argued for a negotiated settlement of the Iranian issue. They are also pushing for reforms of global financial institutions like the IMF.

The five nations also agreed that the challenges that exist within the regions of the BRICS countries must be addressed within the fold of the United Nations.

“The escalation of hostile language, sanctions and counter-sanctions, and force does not contribute to a sustainable and peaceful solution, according to international law, including the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter,” said the statement.

^^ Good Move , I see BRICS as a strong alliance ( at least Economically ) when countering the West.

Right now West is using more of its Economic Tool like S&P , Fitch and Moody to harm BRICS countries.

I see post Ukraine we might see more interaction between China and Russia in background of SCO and CSTO.

Though I feel India would maintain a neutral military stand but Economically it would be a significant player within BRICS and when it joins SCO as fully member.

Brusselabadis are tired of closing the City Center for numerous summits, meetings and conferences. Newspapers are full of articles of excesses of sole super power when it comes to presidential visits. Example from one paper

LE CONVOI DE BARACK OBAMA
2 BOEING 747-200
3 HEAVY LIFT CARGO PLANES
2 LIMO+ 1 RESERVE
3 SIKORSKY SEA KING OF US MARINE
5 BLACK HAWK
45 ESCORT VEHICLES /900 PEOPLE
300 SECURITY AGENTS
12 MILLION EUROS/ DAY
+ LOCAL POLICE ESCORTS AND LOSS TO THE BUSINESSES DUE TO CLOSURE
ADDED LATER
1 AWACS IN THE SKY + F SOLAH

^^ Indeed Quite Impressive ...... When Obama came to Mumbai one of the friend who works at Mumbai airport mentioned that Air Force 1 also kept one of the engine running all the time ...perhaps for its power requirement beyond what APU can offer.

Just saw press conf of Obama

He said Sectorial Sanction will come into force if Russia crosses further into Ukraine.

He also dismissed the notion to compare situation in Ukraine to Kosovo

With all communications technology, GPS and Internet and internet services originiating in the west and its companies.. they can monitor ALL the world does.., they literally can look into our pants, monitor politicians etc.. its laughable that our leadership is so ignorant of apps on phones which seek so many permissions.. in defence areas pinpointed by GPS.

For research, instruments and workstations running US software could be Factory-bugged to allow subversion and create false data..?

For mobile apps on phones or laptops which seek so many permissions.. they could monitor and record sensitive stuff in known defence, and govt institutions/areas..

defence equipment can be factory bugged etc..

the list goes on to civilian areas -.. but i beleive India alone or with BRICS and former colonies around the world need to work on weaning its technological dependence on the west in Communications and later defence.. or we can never hope to win any battle.. on the field or for any resource..

In fact keyword searches would allow them to monitor this forum and twitter, facebook etc to benignly or otherwise undermine voices against them..

i am glad Russia is a counter to the west today with CHina..

Can't he just stay at home and tele-conference? Much cheaper!

A Russian MP,staunch critic of Putin ,on the BBC said that he thought the Crimean gambit-"very popular in Russia",was Putin's method of diverting attention from the eco situ. However,he immediately contradicted his statement by saying that he had advised the Ukraine for over a year, and had warned the Euro-Peons NOT to try and assimilate Ukraine into their eco fold,as it would be a great mistake, impoverish Ukraine and cause chaos. This is exactly what happened he said.

The US and EU are now scaremongering former Soviet bloc republics into thinking that they are next on Putin's alleged "hit list". The truth is far more prosaic,as seen from the above info. The mindless, asinine and cretinous Cold War warriors of the West in trying to relentlessly expand NATO to Russia's borders in a most provocative manner, has spectacularly backfired.Even a hard core capitalist mag like the Economist has on its cover a feature,"The new World Order",sharply critisisng Putin, but acknowledging that the post CW world was "far from perfect".Who do you blame for that? From which countries were the scamsters who robbed trillions sending the global economy into a tailspin? Who were the b*stard bankers?

Apart from that greatest act of thievery in human history, some of the greatest acts of criminal savagery have also been committed by the hordes of Western barbarians, all across the Balkans-as shown graphically in the clips i above posts, and elsewhere in recent times too well known to repeat..

Philip, It could be related to BMD bases siting.

Maybe Ombaba's legacy is to ring the Russians with BMD bases as his accomplishment.
Prising Ukraine from Moscow's bear grip would be an achievement.

Sanctions against Russia not to hinder oil, gas cooperation — Russian PM
Russia
March 25, 20:31 UTC+4

KAZAN, March 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia will continue cooperating with foreign oil and gas companies, and no sanctions will make the people interested in developing business in Russia leave the country, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev told representatives of innovation territorial clusters on Tuesday.

Asked about the possible consequences of sanctions against Russia for cooperation with foreign oil and gas companies, Medvedev said, “You said it is unclear what will happen in the future. I will tell you - nothing will happen. Everything will be all right.”

“Those who want to cooperate with us in any sphere - whether it is science, industrial cooperation or investments that fit our economy - will not go anywhere because it is quite a normal process,” Medvedev said, adding that those who would refuse to maintain cooperation with Russia did not particularly want it.

The prime minister said Russia was interested in developing cooperation with foreign companies.

“We have no limitations,” he said. “We will continue all kinds of cooperation with all foreign companies we work with."

From the interview Lawrence Freeman, Executive Intelligence Review magazine African Desk that some what concurs with your assesment
European nations and US are in the worst financial collapse in the history - political analyst

The western financial system controlled by the city of London, that is the European nations and the US are in the worst financial collapse in the history of our countries, the economic systems are collapsing rapidly and we have a financial aggregate of debts that cannot be paid so as the financial system that is on the verge of bankruptcy, that is causing the confrontation with Russia, and now we are seeing destabilization against China as well.

The policy right now is to go further and encircle Russia and they are going to try to provoke Russia. They are not mercenaries, these people are probably tied to black order, we’ve seen them upgrade in Africa and other places. And they are going to be used on the borders of areas close to Russia to try and provoke massacres, confrontations so that Russia will respond. If you saw the interview from the former Ambassador McFaul and his comments yesterday in the New York Times, they are out to destroy Putin and actually to carry out a regime change in Russia. Russian government and president Putin will not allow this and therefore confrontation could develop, which we are seeing with “black order” – there is nothing but provocation against Russian government to encourage them or entice them and create a conflict. Up to this point president Putin has done a very effective job of not being drawn to these conflicts.

Confronting Putin’s Russia
Need to understand this part
This new era crept up on us, because we did not fully win the Cold War. Communism faded, the Soviet Union disappeared and Russian power diminished. But the collapse of the Soviet order did not lead smoothly to a transition to democracy and markets inside Russia, or Russia’s integration into the West.
The expectation after the cold war was a large first world which would be united and could impose on the rest of the world. But things have turned out to be different.
Russia did not integrate fully into the west and this resulted in a fragmented global power structure. Multi power structure could not have come if the global powers had united together.
The global corporations are going to lose a lot due to this and their market is also not going to be big. They may be confined to smaller markets and smaller foot prints. The corp may become weaker in the future.
