India should be the natural refuge for Hindus and for the Sikh communities in Pak, Afghanistan and elsewhere especially given the coming crises in the west where people are seeking scapegoats. Congress died with PVNR and this collection of NGOs in the UPA have just usurped the name to serve their masters like Nanny Powell

Seculars must be getting the runs.Arun Menon wrote:"India shall remain a natural home for persecuted Hindus and they shall be welcome to seek refuge here"
Holy sh!t, is that for real? It has forever been my dream for India to have a Israel like zionist movement (with regard to refuge for Hindus). I hope to see train loads of Hindus from porkistan and bongladesh settle in after proper verification (hopefully in Kashmir and the North East).

Nothing new. NM already said that thing in Assam about Hindus driven out of Bdesh. He said where will Hindus go other than Bharat their mother land.

The core RSS/VHP cadre dont consider Sikhism to be a separate religion, they believe that sikhs are followers of sanatana dharmaSingha wrote:not just persecuted hindus but other indics faiths have also been oppressed in the barbarian lands to the west like sikhs who settled in afghanistan in middle ages being hounded out. we can declare a right to return for anyone who feels they can contribute , take up indian passport and work here.

Overall the manifesto is excellent, my only grouse is that the 2009 manifesto mentioned about freeing hindu temples from state control and the 2014 manifesto does not talk about that. But looking at the spirit of the manifesto, it looks like the intent is there.
Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
Sikhism is just another Dharmic Panth. The whole concept of "Religion" having any relevance in India needs to be undermined.muraliravi wrote:The core RSS/VHP cadre dont consider Sikhism to be a separate religion, they believe that sikhs are followers of sanatana dharmaSingha wrote:not just persecuted hindus but other indics faiths have also been oppressed in the barbarian lands to the west like sikhs who settled in afghanistan in middle ages being hounded out. we can declare a right to return for anyone who feels they can contribute , take up indian passport and work here.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
If you ask me these are a few things that I think an Indic govt. should do
a. Free temples from govt. control.
b. Make sanskrit the 3rd language after english and mother tongue.
c. Change in criminal laws. Abrogation of SC/ST act, 498a/DV acts, 138 NI act as 99% of cases under these acts are bogus. IPC 354 to be made compoundable. IPC 376 and IPC 354 complainant statements to be reverted to be under 161 CrPC. Character of complainant should be a factor in decision. IPC 376E to be scrapped.
d. IPC 377 should stay.
e. Amendment in Hindu succession act to make it gender neutral and as per shastras.
f. Hindu marriage act to be changed to make divorce more difficult not easy. The lunacy in the current proposal made by the orcs of the UPA should be buried along with their current authors.
g. Every child in India to receive training in music and martial arts.
h. River water interlinking to remove floods and provide water to every part of the country.
There is an urban bias in my thinking but that's the way it is.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
^the problem is people don't follow shastras and wimmen have become cynical nowadins (apologies to those who are not). i'm a victim of the changes in mitakshara laws, but it ignores wha sons have done to family without any documented validations - spent money like nobody's business and now are thrown away with inequality. daughters have become richer, and does not need to participate in family liabilities. what about past liabilities, goes to trash? all these years of struggle is of no use? and suddenly wimmen equality means bash men and their rights?
Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
Murali ji, the intent is deliberately not being stated in-your-face directly since the main goal is better served that way. Going by the style so far, I would expect BJP (when in power) to first suggest that mosques, gurudwaras, monasteries and churches should also be brought under benevolent govt control since the majority Hindus, being generous and open minded by nature, don't wish to enjoy the fruits of such control all by themselves.muraliravi wrote:my only grouse is that the 2009 manifesto mentioned about freeing hindu temples from state control and the 2014 manifesto does not talk about that. But RSS/VHP should insist that Tat-Khalsa of Macauliffe later morphing into SGPC, Akali Politics etc is not Hinduism.muraliravi wrote:The core RSS/VHP cadre dont consider Sikhism to be a separate religion, they believe that sikhs are followers of sanatana dharmaSingha wrote:not just persecuted hindus but other indics faiths have also been oppressed in the barbarian lands to the west like sikhs who settled in afghanistan in middle ages being hounded out. we can declare a right to return for anyone who feels they can contribute , take up indian passport and work here.

or should I say the other way?.. btw, I have given many ideas that i don't care if someone copies it. if i can validate my timestamp, is enough reason for my self satisfaction. i don't need to take credit as long it is implemented and the ideas are transplanted to all.

SaiK garu..
In lighter vein saar!
Almost every Indian can say BJP's manifesto copied at least one Idea from his vision for India. That means BJP not only captured the Indian imagination but also a suitable representative of Indians in fulfilling that vision!
All the best to team BJP.

No he wont and from his angle I see the following reasons to be unhappykapilrdave wrote:Where is Rahul Mehta sir? His all wishes are fulfilled in manifesto. He should be a happy man now.
The manifesto has not mentioned the following
1. Deportation of Illegal Immigrants currently living in India
2. Measures to stop religious conversion
3. Measures to check flow of foreign money into India for nefarious purposes
4. Methods to be adopted for population control
5. No commitment on temples in Kashi and Mathura
6. No mention of freeing temples from Government Control or bringing other religious institutions under government control (even though the former is the right option)

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
The reason all this is not there is because UPA is losing through its own weight and falling flat on its nose. All those subjects would simply have put a secularism cushion on the floor.muraliravi wrote:No he wont and from his angle I see the following reasons to be unhappykapilrdave wrote:Where is Rahul Mehta sir? If someone really wants to change things, things that are controversial and can cause a reaction, then one should be silent about one's intentions.

I completely understand, I am just outlining the reasons why RM wont be happy. I can see the rationale behind not raising these issues in the manifesto. As i said, the intent is very clear from the manifesto, I see no reason to doubt them.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
RNS clearly stated in his remarks that not all issues can be accommodated in the document. What they are able to do regarding the issues not spelt out depends more in the next election cycle in 2019, not this one. Getting a coalition govt running smoothly within a year itself would be a stupendous achievement.

Most vitally, where is the promise to hang all missionaries and MNCs, hain ji? Without hanging MNCs and missionaries, life has no purpose. There should be the draft of a bill that will describe, in graphic detail, how MNCs and missionaries will be hanged.muraliravi wrote:No he wont and from his angle I see the following reasons to be unhappykapilrdave wrote:Where is Rahul Mehta sir? ramana, it is always the case for me that all my ideas were only just then superceded by similar or renamed already existing ones or it just went passed mine. so, i have lost my passion flower effects to public space long long ago. just now i suggested something to my boss, and he went oh.. that is already been done in a different name. when push comes to shove, it never delivered to what objectives i was thinking.
ramay, similary, your thoughts will vary slightly to your objectives, but is important to represent that.. i was not denying your ideas the recognition it should deserve.
good job!

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
I think that is why the opposition is shivering in their lungis. Everybody knows this simple truth, one can be silent, passive aggressive and get things done. Now BJP has not given enough hooks to the opposition to cling on and drag down BJP. BJP is slippery as eel to them, now. And that worries them even more. Only a fringe party has to state/over state ideas to gain attraction. Like the Crazywal dude.RajeshA wrote: If someone really wants to change things, things that are controversial and can cause a reaction, then one should be silent about one's intentions.
