Modi seems to be calculating on the potential to keep the next gen of dynasty out of lower house of parliament through a win in Amethi, while letting the old gen have an easier time from Rae Bareilly. Perhaps he thinks she will then give up the seat and force a by election where he can then target any family member who attempts to take that seat using a worthy opponent.

Smriti Irani is 10x more aggressive than Swaraj ever was, and more well spoken & with better diction. IMO, she has a good future ahead in the BJP and perhaps, one day might be a proper PM contender herself. Not one artificially boosted by media like Swaraj.

Whereas BJP leaders always say it is party decision what responsibility they are given, in this speech Modi spoke of his close relationship with Smriti Irani. He called her his younger sister.

This is because Modi knows the fears of Amethi people, that with Rahul they are a VVIP seat, and if they vote BJP, they would lose that status. Modi tried to convince the people that they would have no loss, as Smriti Irani would have the ear of the next PM.

What has Amethi gained so far being a vvip seat ? A Mercedes manufacturing plant ? 24X7 electricity ! Nothing. All talks.

They already do that, all the families as soon as they cross go to the sharan of church for 3 to 5 years, take the money and support jobs etc. Once they are up on the feet they go back to being peaceful from loveful again. EJs know this very well, but they're happy that at least 10% of such people stay back permanently. Something is better than nothing.

Rahul Gandhi halts speech on hearing prayer call from mosque

Gandhi began his speech recalling his family’s long association with the city dating back to the days of Jawaharlal Nehru.

But then around 5 PM, the loudspeaker of a mosque situated adjacent to the venue of the rally sounded the muezzin’s call. On hearing the call, Gandhi stopped his speech, promptly stepped aside and stood with his head bowed deferentially.

After the muezzin ended his call, Gandhi returned in front of the mike to resume his speech and was greeted by a huge round of applause.

About time saar. Its our core strength and we need to create a solid foundation in agriculture sector for prosperous India. I hope along with it Modi ji also encourage/develop organic farming on large scale in India.

I still remember watching one of Ravish prime time episode when he was shouting that NaMo speaks about soil health card, that Gujarat farmers have soil health card. He argues that Gujarat is not the only state in India which has soil health card.

But Modi ji never said that Gujarat is the onlee state which has it. Modi ji in many of his rallies have stated Gujarat is the FIRST state to have soil health card. This is how #newstraders twist news.

Let us not break our heads to find the motive. When everything else fails I try the following "Simple transfer of cash only"

NCP and NC came out against this move to set up a commission to inquire "snoopgate". So Congress dropped it. It would have set up a precedence, and NaMo would have stripped them all naked, considering how much muck these people have.
