For most of my generation (born around or after 1980) we have never known anything but coalition politics. That a single party can win 50% of the votes is Indian politics has come a full circle from the split of the Hindu vote from the Mandal and casteist regional party era.
Until now, a party with 50 seats would have qualified for kingmaker in Lok Sabha. Now it's struggling to even receive opposition party title.

Ramachandra Guha: Voters between 18 and 25 have gone to Modi in large numbers, for two reasons. One, they are too young to remember 2002, and two they found the campaign appealing, and they were angry with the Congress' failings including cronyism and nepotism.
It is phucking security nightmare out there. Where is the bloody SPG protection? OMG it is very risky fro Modi to walk around in crowd like this from now on.

DMK. Stalin for all his power in DMK does not have loyal cadres in the party unlike Azhagiri. Azhagiri is supposed to take care of his wards i.e. distribute the loot and protects them whilst Stalin is known to be completely self centered.
From the last few elections one thing is clear. i.e. there is divine retribution on any one who is drunk with power. The DMK Govt from last time and the Sonia cabal in 2014. Reinforced the *edha edha hi dharmasya.. from BG.

Agree. Hope he will implement vision to make kalam vision of India developed by 2025 which was postponed by Congi by five years from being 2020 due to misrule. Like RSS guy Ram Madhav, he was rock solid behind modi and also knows how to handle media crooks well.
