Ditto my mom too and she was seeing RG on TV for the first time a few months ago (she is basically not interested in politics and not politically-savvy either)!

This is one seat which BJP/niran-ji seemed to have read wrong since they had given it to Meira ( and it was assumed to be the only seat BJP would lose in Bihar as per their assesment)?

Ans. 3354. A defeated candidate who fails to secure more than one sixth of the valid votes polled in the constituency will lose his security deposit.

sure there will be many 'name-less', 'fame-less', ordinary BJP (& even INC, CPM/CPI, for that sake all AAP) candidates loosing deposits in Kerala & TN ... but i am indicating about Well Known Candidates ... particularly who have opened their mouth and indulged in verbal diarrhea before the press & public .... particularly to irritate opposition party members & opposition party supporters/voters
