I think the speaker has discretion. I hope no concessions are given to Sonia -- she doesn't deserve any.

Employed by CNNIBN in a new clean shaven look, almost impossible to recognize. According to the worthy, UP 73/80 is due to Amit Shah's organization work + RSS but zero effect of Modi. He has lost respect about his analysis of Modi, since almost all his predictions/views have been proved wrong.

Thats a lot of NOTA votes and it seems to me to be a protest vote against local BJP mainly.

While A.Raja might have been vanquished by slightly more than 1 Lakh vote margin (1.04 L votes) by ADMK.... in the process - BJP in this seat has scored a huge self-goal. The BJP friendly voters would have felt betrayed at the way their local candidate (who stood here in LS 2009 also) messed up his candidate application submission process. It is not going to be easy to recover this vote base ... considering that BJP LS MPs got elected from here twice in Vajpayee's PM periods in late 1990s. But it is my opinion A.Raja would have won this seat by a slight margin if the BJP had stood here and ADMK had cleverly sensed it & pre-empted it by getting the local BJP candidate & his backup to have their applications rejected. Surely the BJP would have got more thank 1 Lakh votes on its own at the minimum in this Nilgiris seat.

Nitish Kumar and his fall from grace is due to hubris and nothing else with all the MSM feting him and marking him as new NaMo 2.0 the development man with 12% rate of Growth, He thought he could pull the rug and be a hero in the eyes of Muslims just like Lalu had done during LKA Rathyatra.
Fortunately his bubble got burst as he was dealing with NaMo and Hindu anger against Islamic pandering.

Now that his govt will surely not complete its term as both Lalu and Paswan will try to bring him down while the iron is hot. I believe this marks the end of Nitish Kumar as CM of Bihar.

NaMo victory lap with BJP cavalcade now at Delhi.

It seems anyone who claims to be a BJP supporter can get near him. Moreover, NaMo got out of his SUV and stood on the sideboard (a breach of security protocol?) while the cavalcade crawled along with several hold-ups due to the crowd-swell. An absolute security nightmare.

Now that the Ganga aarati is slated for today evening, hope they organize this better with brief to NaMo to follow the security protocol without fail.

The color revolution that CIA, Ford Foundation, White Pakis and Scandinavian countries tried to incite in India just like FSU and Arab world in a ironical way "succeeded" except for the color of the revolution is Saffron and the Lion who made it happen is not some anglophile praising Brits for their brutal rule over India or some Foreigner but a true Indic.

On Articale-370, Doesn't the law say that the offer to repeal Article-370 must come from state govt and only then Central govt can remove this article or am I wrong (Hope I am). Atleast thats what was preached to us by successive congressi leaders while growing up.

As per my reading of tea leaves, NaMo will not pick up any major non economic contentious issue which has wider ramifications right away. Article 370 will go but jingos need to wait for couple of years before the wrong is righted.
We should not start the whine thread within few months of his ascendency.

On top of it, she says BJP only got 42% and hence, failed in UP. LOL.

The government must govern. Stop chasing the vote banks. Only then can it hope to be re-elected. Once re-elected rinse and repeat. till posterity.
