Indians in Trinidad and Tobago hail Modi's victory
http://www.ibn7.com/india/item/63196-in ... -s-victory
The victory of the BJP, led by Narendra Modi, in the Indian election has been hailed by a large section of the people of Trinidad and Tobago where the Indian diaspora accounts for nearly 40 percent of its 1.3 million population of the twin islands.
Trinidad and Tobago's Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Dookeran told the media that Modi's victory was the "beginning of another chapter in Indian democracy and economic progress".

"In terms of our relationship, I know this will not mean any fundamental departures, and therefore an intensity of our relationship should emerge," said the international economist who visited India several times and was guest lecturer at the Jawaharlal Nehru University.

"I am sure both the countries would work together to construct a new architecture for a peaceful stable and economically progressive world," Dookeran said.

Religious leaders said Modi visited Trinidad and Tobago in 2000 to attend the World Hindu Conference at the University of the West Indies here. Modi's victory signalled that the Gandhi and Nehru dynasties were fading, said Andy Knight, director, Institute of International Relations, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.

^^ There is no doubt NDTV has tough days ahead since Amit Shah and others havent bothered to hide their disdain for NDTV and repeatedly mentioned how NDTV played a stellar role in demonising BJP

Buddhu/Bottle/Robber are clear :D to mean "Rahul, the Pappu/Priyanka, the drunkard/Robert, the corruption king"
Abbreviations and their meanings:

VK = VishKanya
for Sonia Gandhi . Vish means poison, Kanya means girl. Read about Vishkanyas

TDK = TaDaKka
for Sonia Gandhi . Read about Tataka .

Buddhu = Rahul Gandhi
buddhu in hindi means ‘dumb’ or ‘fool’. Not to be confused with ‘buddha’ :)

Booze / Bottle = Priyanka Gandhi / Priyanka Vadra
She’s the daughter of Sonia Gandhi and wife of Robert Vadra. Dr. Swamy says she is an alcoholic.

Robber / Robber Damad = Robert Vadra
He’s the husband of Priyanka Gandhi and son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi. Damad, in hindi, means son-in-law.

Shree 420 = Arvind Kejriwal
Shree is like ‘sir’ and 420 is the section number in Indian Law relating to Confidence Tricksters.

Aaptards = AAP (Aam Aadmi Party)’s blind followers
As in ‘retards’ . Dr.Swamy adopted this term for blind followers of AAP when they were repeatedly abusing him on twitter.

CRT = Congi Reptile Tweeple
congi is a short for Congress (political party in india) . Tweeple means ‘people’ in twitter slang.

PT = Patriotic Tweeple
tweeple means ‘people’ in twitter slang. Mostly used in plural form PTs

Fibral = A liberal who fibs (lies)
according to dr.swamy’s tweet “Indian liberals fib all the time. So we should call them Fibrals to distinguish them from liberals elsewhere.” ‘fib’ means ‘lie’

PC = Papa Chor / Pucca Chor / Pakka Chor
for P. Chidambaram . Chor in hindi means ‘thief’. Papa means ‘dad’. Pukka/Pakka means 100%.

BC = Baby Chor
for Karthi Chidambaram son/of P. Chidamabaram . Chor in hindi means ‘thief’

Rascal = Sanjay Jha
Sanjay Jha is a spokesperson for Congress party who tried to do some silly mischief with Dr.Swamy.

MMS = ManMohan Singh

JJ = J Jayalalitha

MK = M Karunanidhi

Jehad Deal = Jet-Etihad Deal
Click here to know about the deal. Google search for the latest news about Dr.Swamy’s court case on the deal.
(Thanks to ‘Mango Man’ from the comments section for the tip)

Terms Related to Dravidian movement goons & LTTE supporters of Tamil Nadu:

a. DD / DDs = Dravidian Draculas
Violent people belonging to the Dravidian movement formed in Tamil Nadu on the basis of a fake Aryan-Dravidian theory created by the Britishers to divide Northern and Southern India as part of their ‘Divide & Rule’ policy. Know more at the links below.

b. Porki / Porkis = Porukki
Porukki means ‘a male goon’ in Tamil. Also used for the violent people belonging to the Dravidian movement mentioned above.

Who are these violent DDs & Porkis and what is this fake Dravidian movement? Read Dr.Swamy’s article here & you can watch his video here.

c. Eli / Elis = Supporters of ‘Eelam’ / LTTE supporters of tamil nadu (‘E’ in LTTE stands for Eelam)
Eli means a ‘rat’ in tamil. Why does he call the violent LTTE supporters of Tamil Nadu as rats? Read this interview of Dr.Swamy.

DDs, Porkis & Elis belong to the same club

Yesteryear celebrities recall golden moments when Jayalalithaa was an actor

Veda Nilayam at Poes Garden, normally a beehive of political activity, was the scene of an apolitical reunion on Friday.

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa invited a group of actors of yesteryear fame, playback singer P. Susheela and her close friend and journalist Cho Ramasamy for lunch and relived the good old days when they worked together in the film world.

There were Jamuna, Saroja Devi, Kumari Sachu, Anjali Devi, Sowcar Janaki, Rajashree and Sukumari.

Mr. Ramasamy’s association with the Chief Minister dates back 58 years. She was seven years old and he was 21 then.

She used Telugu and Tamil alternately while speaking to Susheelama and Jamuna in Telugu and switched over to Kannada when conversing with Saroja Devi and spoke in Malayalam while talking to Sukumari,” said Ms Sachu.

Playback singer Susheela said it was one of the most memorable meetings. “It was so lovely meeting everyone. I could see that the Chief Minister was very happy. The lunch was great and later, and all of us posed individually for photographs with her.”

Ramdev is a good dharmic guy and pulled hard.. But doubt his efforts made any difference to incremental votes in any substantial way. Unlike the Paswan factor in Bihar which was tangible and increase seat share. Let us be objective and not be swayed by emotions.

My guesstimate is Baba Ramdev ensured about 1crore votes for BJP. Sri Sri Ravishankar added another 1cr votes.

Together they got about 20MPs worth of votes.

I'd give a lot of credit to Baba Ramdev. Although he went beyond his limits as Sanyasi into political matters and acted at times as politician.

He brought attention Congress Corruption/Chor-giri to normal people way before than BJP. That awareness is one of the reasons for raising of AAPtards as defense for Congress but ultimately the awareness helped severe drubbing for Congress.

Ramana Sir,
Please accept my apology for delayed response. Too much of hectic campaigning and then Vote count took it's toll. Caught up viral. I have seen many elections and have been campaigning on & off since 1993 but none like this one. My Ket points ...

1. The overt pandering to Muslims has created a sense elf seize & all identities are getting merged in one Hindu.

2. UP saw 100+ riots and the caste groups at the forefront (bearing brunt as well as fight back) has been the SC/OBC

3. Newer gen in UP/Bihar is aspirational is known to all but there is a sense of shame on taking Doles... Despite all efforts the enrolment of NREGA has hardly crossed 10% in many districts.

4. There is a renewed sense of spirituality and BRF must slowly through our handles on Tweeter etc make apish for temple entry for Dalits etc in North wherever it is not open yet.

My Nambardar at farm in Nautanwa told me "Bhaiya jab tak Bharat Gareeb rahega tab tak ye videshi/Essayi humen dabate rahenge.... Sirf Modiji hi rasta hain.."

I would request the members to start creating a push for labour reforms, BJP old guard is still against the idea we tried to push..i.e. Hiring & firing with 1 week notice & salary in specific industries. Manufacturing would require compensation in case of any accident etc.

As for judicial reforms, there is likely to be push from PMO to talk with SC & set boundaries, set up new courts & time bound trials.

more than 12-15 Ministries will be abolished and Arun jaitly has initiated ideate within the party to keep Supreme court only to interpret constitutional provisions and not become the football for every high profile case.

Art 370 shd be tackled by 2015 end after the economy is stabilised.. We must continue to seed the cultural narrative..

On a side note, today one *** has come out categorically against the idea of supporting AAP in Delhi. Congress is headed for a split towards Dec 2014 and splinter group will merge with BJP led by state units..

Snap polls in Maharashtra will be disastrous for Congress in the state http://dnai.in/cdrp
As Congress' performance in Maharashtra hit its nadir, sources in the party feel that it would be disastrous for it if Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan resigns bowing to the BJP's demand and have snap polls. They said that BJP-Shiv Sena combine is riding on huge anti-incumbency wave and it will be suicidal for Congress to call snap polls in the state right now.

http://www.rediff.com/news/report/ls-el ... 140517.htm
Despite her thunderous victory, Mamata kept sulking the whole of Friday afternoon.

The reason?

It was difficult for her to swallow that a certain ‘insignificant intruder’ called Narendra Modi was on his way to adorn the prime minister’s chair and that he did not need her support.

It’s a great shocker for the TMC chief.

For, it not only dashed her ‘dreams’ of an emerging Third Front but also prevented her from being a centrifugal force to reckon with at the Centre. Her national ambitions took a major beating this time.

In this election, Mamata emerged a lioness achieving a major victory in her lair only to discover that she was too lonely at the top. During the last lap of campaigning, Mamata systematically spewed venom against NaMo in her aggressive bid to woo the Muslim voters, but now she dreads the vindictive course of action that India’s new prime minister might unleash on her.

The recently started Central Bureau of Investigation probe into the much ‘acclaimed’ Saradha scam hangs like the Sword of Damocles over her head.

She can neither be the queen nor the kingmaker.

She had always aspired to rule over Delhi, but sadly, it would be the other way around.

And with a visible increase in the BJP’s vote share, Mamata would have many a frown on her forehead while preparing for the West Bengal assembly elections due in a couple of years.

With both the Left and the Congress being marginalised, the BJP will be her major opposition in that battle. And by indulging in several populist measures such as offering doles for the imams or bicycles only for Muslim girls, the West Bengal chief minister has herself helped the Hindu-Muslim polarisation in the state in the last few years.

Though her hurling abuses at NaMo in this election helped her draw minority votes in huge numbers, but for the assembly elections of 2016, Banerjee would need a stronger and more sustainable tool to combat Modi’s forces.

Till then, the going will indeed be tough for the TMC supremo.
