Only DD & PTI has official access to PMO & GoI and NaMoji's meeting with facebook & twitter's top management. So what does the future hold for indian media houses ? Next thing is to get radio medium(crack the whip on AIR service & get it in line ) in control then he can truely show the indian media house door . DD+ RADIO + Facebook-Twitter-Blog = boore din aane wale hein for indian media industry .

with the commitment for internet/broadband in every state/city.towns and possibly to villages in 5 years, it will fun to see the MSM - how they will chnage themselves.

Also with virtually opening the space for many more to come--> expect more msm and non msm to hog limelight slowlsya nd surely.

paidmedia may be swamped by many more- could be more virulent or more nationalist.

(1) Generally in Bhaskara guest house when PMs come the ISRO provides a lot of staff to serve food, pack brief cases etc. Modi has server food himself, packed his own briefcases etc. (a lot more descriptiveness in Telugu)
(2) Most of the PMs come there with far less knowledge of ISRO and they just praise and go away.
(3) Generally a summary is provided by ISRO so that the visiting PM reads and shakes hands and go
(4) In case of Modi, he did not take any notes. He spoke from Chandryaan, Mangalyaan. While praising he insisted that GSLV is important.
(5) He made is sure he shakes hands with every level of staff including the security staff of ISRO

The entire video of Modi at SHAR is posted in the Indian Space PRogram thread. Modi listened to presentations, and shook hands with tons of people, including some junior-level people. These people will remember his visit for a long time. CBN was there all along.

There seems to be terror of Modi deep within the bones of each & every Cabinet Minister. As per Paanwala, a Cabinet Minister holding an important Infrastructure portfolio is coming to office at 9am and holding meetings way past 12 o clock in night with all the Babus and Pvt sector stake holders in attendance. He is having his meals also from a tiffin in the middle of meetings so as not to waste time.

Nothing like that, but would Obama or any firangi eat with his/her hands when an Indian is invited to their place? I don't understand why we should change our habits for the sake of others, especially when we are in our own country. That Modi shakes hands instead of doing a namaskar is good enough.

Think again. Omen Chandy has been croaking for a while how center has betrayed its citizens, and Kerala is directly negotiating the release. He called a press conference this morning to croak more how he has been camping in Delhi ever since the incident occurred, and the release of 10 out 44 nurses is because of Kerala's relentless efforts.

Omar was a surprise face this morning at the Katra event (from his tweets on the rail link as "not being for Vaishno Devi only" and a few stupid remarks I was not expecting him to be present. However, another part of me was thinking that absence could be a violation of set protocol).
He looked quite uncomfortable on the stage. The election results effect.

It might be relevant at this juncture to recount a little side-story in the RIL-BJP saga. During a stormy stint as disinvestment minister in the Vajpayee government, Arun Shourie had taken many controversial decisions that were opposed by other parties. Among these was to hand over to the Reliance Group a chunk of the Indian Oil Corporation, that was broken up and divided. Although he began his innings in the Indian Express as someone who took on Dhirubhai Ambani, Shourie is said to have metamorphosed into someone quite different as disinvestment minister. In the days leading up to the swearing-in and formation of the current government, several economic papers carried stories about how Shourie was a serious contender for the finance portfolio. Shourie camped in Delhi for several days and even gave a few interviews even though he had shifted to the township of Lavasa, near Pune in Maharashtra, several years ago. He had done so after fixing up a rental lease for his home in an upmarket South Delhi colony to a Reliance-owned company. The corporation, it has been suggested, was very keen to place Shourie in some key economic portfolio. That did not happen.

Even before the raising of gas prices was delayed, that decision was seen by insiders and lobbyists as the first sign that this regime might not be as R-positive as the last one.

Plausible theory as to why Shourie has not been accepted by NaMo. He is not the sanysai crusador that the image of him is. Also Oil minister

The TV18 takeover by Mukesh may be a precursor to launching an offensive against NaMo that will make the last 12 years look like a walk in the park. Dharmendra Pradhan is going to be in the hot seat in a short while. It is not railways but this key portfolio and it;s coverage on TV 18 that will show the barometer of how things are going. If rumors of BD coming to CNN-IBN turn out to be true, we know why this is happening.

My respect for NaMo went up by a few notches.
