I dont think Pakistan exports any cotton either. It imports cotton from India. Cotton products, yes, but cotton, No. Why is he lying like that? Did he for a moment forget he is a Paki PM and not Indian PM?

Why is he lying ? Because, he is a through-n-through thoroughbred Paki. He being a PM is just incidental. Every word uttered in the article is a lie.

Informative article on how bad Taliban is slowly unraveling and stage is being set to support good Taliban.
Can it be that by associating themselves with ISIS, "bad" Taliban is trying to get a new lease of life? Perhaps TSPA may be alarmed too that they may have Jihadis in the country not under the control of ISI but of some entity like ISIS?
MALSIABAD – National University of Science and Technology (NUST) hosted US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard G Olson for a discussion with students and faculty on Wednesday.Olson’s remarks emphasised the importance of cooperation between the United States, Afghanistan and Pakistan in order to support regional stability and prosperity. “A strong relationship between our two countries Pakistan and US is of great importance to regional stability and to achieving a more prosperous future for our citizens,” the ambassador said.“One of the most critical ingredients for achieving regional stability and prosperity is creating a peaceful and stable future for Afghanistan,” he added. “The United States will remain engaged; we see our role in Afghanistan, Pakistan and the region as one of a sustained commitment that is in our own national security interest as well as that of the countries of the region,” he said.
The ambassador spoke about the results of the Declaration of Enduring Partnership signed between the government of Afghanistan and NATO in 2010 to provide long-term security, economic and political support to Afghanistan and the importance of regional efforts to its continued success.“An increasingly stable Afghanistan that is at peace and enjoys productive relations with its neighbors will be an effective counter-weight against extremism. A stable Afghanistan is also conducive to economic development in South and Central Asia,” he said. Ambassador Olson also highlighted the moment that the United States and Pakistan have to set future events on a positive course and seize the opportunity for a brighter future in Afghanistan. He encouraged Pakistan to continue its efforts to strengthen relations with Afghanistan. “There is much work to be done together on important issues, such as security, trade and economic ties, reconstruction and rehabilitation, and regional cooperation,” he said. The ambassador concluded by calling on the students at NUST to play a role in leading Pakistan to a more stable and secures future.“He thanked Lt General Muhammad Asghar, Rectum of NUST, for hosting the event and supporting academic exchanges and linkages with US institutions.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that there was no terrorist network in Pakistan at the moment.
.
. He said that Pakistan being the largest wheat producer in the world and one of the major cotton exporters, there existed a lot of potential to make successful deals with Germany. About his meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, he said that she was a woman of great state determination, wisdom and foresight.
European Union : 146.25, China : 124.00, India : 95.85, Russia : 53.00, United States 52.847, Canada : 28.500, Australia : 25.50, CLAPISTAN (Chinese Pronunciation) : 24.50, Ukraine : 20.00, Turkey : 15.00
Sir Ji, Badmaash has declared CLAPISTAN (Chinese Pronunciation) as being the largest wheat producer in the world as he heard one of his chamchas possibly stating “Huzoor” CLAPISTAN (Chinese Pronunciation) is now one of the Global Top Wheat Producing Countries" and Badmash with his limited education made the remark of CLAPISTAN (Chinese Pronunciation) being the largest …..
AoA,
He meant that Pakistan is the topmostest, bestest, biggerest wheat producing MUSLIM country.
Interestingly, I ran into an egyptian dude, who was once an envoy for that country. He said, they considered India to be the second biggest Islamic nation in the world - looks like most arabs do, thus all the screaming and yelling that Pakistan does at the OIC falls on deaf ears, at least from a religious POV.
Ambassador Robin Raphel was not the last US diplomat eating out of the palm of their Pakistani interlocutors’ hand. The late Ambassador Richard Holbrook’s team, of which Ms Raphel was also a part, bent over backwards to accommodate the most ludicrous Pakistani position about Afghanistan. More recently, former Ambassador Cameron Munter parroted the Pakistani establishment’s line on the US drone attacks against terrorists and, by some accounts, was eased out due to that. Hospitality, including lavish meals and booze, English language skills and the liberal facade of the Islamabad-based coterie of analysts and the spooks who prop them up, has duped many a US diplomat. Even former CIA Director Leon Panetta wrote that he was impressed with then Director General Inter-Services Intelligence General Ahmad Shuja Pasha’s “moderation, sense of history and worldliness”. Mr Panetta writes in his recent book that General Pasha “inveighed against the number of madrassas (seminaries) in which poor Pakistani youth were being molded, and yearned to draw his country into the future. Yet for all of Pasha’s charm and sincerity [sic], what I did not know was how much he was willing to take on the militants within his own country.”
Gagan wrote:Incited by calls from Mosque loudspeakers, mob killed Christian couple.
The elder brother of the victim was killed in his village when he tried to complaint to authorities. Right after he told his sad story about killing to reporter, islamist death squad came and killed him.
Mahendra wrote:or terrorists eat wheat and produce large pakistan in cotton fields
Why do Pakis want wheat, should they not give up grains, fruits, vegetable and genrating dairy products and only concentrate of meat production. That way no land can be wasted and TFTA's can have meat only diet like super carnivores Lions and Tigers.

This statement may be more reflective of Leon Panetta's naivete, gullibility and insularity. Quite likely he found it expedient to write thusly.

I don't think Panetta is naivete, gullibility and insularity, radical Islam Pakistan is their Bull dog meant to attack creatures like India. So it should always be encouraged.
It is we who are being naivete, gullibility and insularity thinking he does not know the creature which they raise.
Okay. Just watched the Ajit Doval 'intrnational trrirst' video. Hindutva police torturing victims shown in the video is a scene from some Malayalam movie with Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead. Lol.

So how do Pakis know about Malayalam movies and this scene in particular? Quite strange this.

Informative article on how bad Taliban is slowly unraveling and stage is being set to support good Taliban.
The article is incomplete and omits many details. It seems to suggest that the South Waziristan commander, Sajna, would somehow fall into PA/ISI's 'good Taliban' category. As I said before, Sajna and the Mehsuds would find it too difficult to align with the PA/ISI.
I agree though that the article is subtly setting up the stage for supporting the good Taliban. It appears that the use of jihadi terrorists as part of the State's tools is willy-nilly accepted by CS Monitor. At least, that is the impression I get.
On the issue of Robin Raphel's defence of the Taliban, here is what she said in the UN Conference. On September 27, 1996, the Taliban possessed Kabul and on November 18, 1996, the US asserted in a UN Conference in New York that the Taliban were an indigeneous movement and can be moderated. This is what Ms. Robin Raphel, said:
“The Taliban control more than two-thirds of the country, they are Afghan, they are indigenous, they have demonstrated staying power. The real source of their success has been the willingness of many Afghans, particularly Pashtuns, to tacitly trade unending fighting and chaos for a measure of peace and security, even with severe social restrictions. It is not in the interests of Afghanistan or any of us here that the Taliban be isolated.”
As President Zardari declared in a CBS interview, the Taliban was a co-creation by the ISI and the CIA.

Another interesting thing about the Ajit Doval fan video is the way they go after multiple Pak TV channels and news groups as being infiltrated with Indian agents. Shows that ISI considers dissent with itself as unlawful and treasonous. The Army is trying to turn Pak into North Korea.
