3.REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR MINE PLOUGH FOR T-90S/ SK TANKSThere is a proposal to acquire SIMFIRE for tank T-90/T-72 and BMP I/II in the near future. Tactical training in the Mechanised Forces is conducted with realistic depiction of battle field scenarios and resultant manoeuvres/ counter manoeuvres being carried out by participating units/ sub units. In such circumstances, though all efforts are made to paint realistic tactical situations, but the outcome is left to the judgment of umpires/ control organization set up for the conduct of the exercise/ training. This, leads to a lot of subjectivity in the entire process of imparting realistic training. Furthermore, to draw out correct tactical lessons it is imperative that the effectiveness of the own / opponents fire is seen by the crew operating on the A vehicles. Therefore, in order to obviate the above mentioned drawback in our present tactical training and enable a two sided live firing exercise, it is intended to induct Simfire equipment into service

4. Vehicle Based Mine Scattering System (VBMSS) on High Mobility VehicleThe T-72 tanks of the Indian Army are fitted with the KMT-6 mine ploughs which provide individual mobility to tanks through minefields. The KMT-6 mine ploughs are not suitable for mounting on the T-90 tanks. There is thus a need for a suitable mine plough which can be mounted on the T-90 tank

6. RFI for Modular Bridge mounted on High Mobility VehicleThe Ministry of Defence(Army), Government of India, intends to procure approximate 20,00,000 to 25,00,000 quantities of electronic artillery fuzes for 105mm, 130mm and 155mm calibre guns.
Basic Details.
The proposal is to procure electronic fuzes for artillery for 105mm, 130mm and 155mm calibre guns alongwith fuze hand setters (fuze setting arrangements). The basic details are as follows :-
(a) The fuzes to be introduced must be electronic in which the initiation of the fuzes should take place through electronic chain and adaptable for in-service ammunition in Indian Army.
(b) The under mentioned set of three electronic fuzes when introduced in service would perform the functions stated against each :-
(i) Percussion Fuze. Obtain ground burst with HE shells with the following sub functions :-
(aa) Instantaneous action.
(ab) Delay action.
(ii) Time Fuze. Obtain airburst with all types of carrier shells (smoke illuminating and Cargo). Facilitate functioning of the fuze in percussion mode when air burst function fails.
(iii) Proximity Fuze (VT). Obtain air burst with HE shells at the desired height of burst for the equipment. Facilitate functioning of the fuze in percussion mode when air burst function fails.

should cater for carriage of two such magazines. The pouches should have a flap with velcro attachment for opening and closing.
(b) Two Hand Grenade Pouches should be stitched on to the inner side of the right portion of the vest. These pouches should
have a flap with a velcro opening and closing mechanism.
(c) A hand Held Radio Pouch and a battery pouch should be stitched on the outer right portion of the vest with a flap having
velcro opening and closing mechanism :-
(i) The vest should have Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) to fix additional pouches on the back and vacant
sides.
(ii) There should be a triple layered Airflow Mesh on the inside of the vest to wick moisture from the body.
(iii) There should be a nylon mesh lining all along the inside of the vest. The nylon meshing at the back should be like a pocket to accommodate the Hydration System.
(iv) The vest should be front opening making it easy to wear and remove. The opening and closing mechanism would be
by means of a zipper. The zipper should have a locking mechanism.
(v) The vest should have a mechanism to be tightened or loosened from the sides. It should be made available in the

3. Main Pack. The Main Pack will comprise of the following :-
(a) Main Pack with an Internal Frame.
(i) The Main Pack should have an internal capacity of approximate 3500 cubic inches. The pack should have two compartments separated by a removable shelf.
(ii) The Main Pack should have an internal frame. It should be a V Frame suspension employing aircraft grade aluminium stays supported by a horizontal anti barrelling cross.
(iii) The Main Pack should be made of adequately strong water repellent fabric.
(iv) The Main Pack should be able to be converted into one large compartment by opening a slick fastener located on the
shelf between the two compartments.
(v) The exterior of the Main Pack should have Pouch Attachment Ladder System (PALS) webbings to be used for
mounting modular pouches.
(vi) One large sleeve will be attached at the bottom (one lashing strap each side) capable of retaining heavy items such
as mortar tubes. Below each sleeve, there shall be a stretchable pocket in order to aid in the retention of the heavy
item being carried.
(vii) There should be four side compression straps on each side of the Main Pack to keep the contents stable or locking on a jacket / rain cap to the pack.
(viii) The dry weight of an empty Main Pack should not exceed 3 Kgs.
(ix) There should be an arrangement to attach or mount the Patrol Pack on to the main Pack.
(x) There should be an arrangement to house the Hydration System inside the Main Pack with provision to drink while on the move or static.

9. Procurement of 12 Bore Pump Action Shot Gun (PASG)1. Background. There are various RF emitters, apart from ones used for communication. Our Northern and Eastern Borders have mountainous terrain. There is need to monitor these mountainous regions for presence of emitters to obtain required ELINT. Hence a Mobile Ground based ELINT System for Mountainous terrain is envisaged to monitor non communication emitters in the range of 0.5 to 40 GHz.
2. General. These ELINT intercept receivers envisaged is required to be vehicle based which can easily be transported to mountainous terrain and can be rapidly deployed. The system in block should have an interface unit and antenna integrated with a high end spectrum analyser.
