The scope of Green on Green Intra-Mohammadden religion based sectarian violence in Yemen is set to expand with a coalition of Sunni Mohammadden countries including the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and their Saudi Arabian patrons, threatening to militarily intervene in order to suppress Yemeni Shia Mohammaddens.

UK’s Daily Mail reports that the father of one of the female teenagers who fled UK to join the Mohammadden Terrorist group Islamic State Iraq and al-Sham aka ISIS who blamed the Non Mohammadden dominated UK Police Force for not preventing his daughters flight, was himself sympathetic to Mohammadden hate mongering:

Sensational footage has emerged showing the father of one of the three schoolgirl 'jihadi brides' at the head of an Islamist rally led by hate preacher Anjem Choudary and attended by Michael Adebowale, the killer of soldier Lee Rigby.

The video shows Abase Hussen marching at the front of the demonstrators, behind a banner reading: 'The followers of Mohammed will conquer America'.

He was filmed chanting 'Allahu Akbar' amid dozens of protesters and standing just yards away as the American flag is burned.

Earlier this month, Mr Hussen blamed police for placing a 'heavy burden' on his daughter by handing her the letter about their inquiry - and the police apologised.

Yesterday, a Government report on foreign fighters was released containing testimony from Mr Hussen.

But at no time has he mentioned his own passion for militant Islam or attendance at one of the most notorious rallies of the last few years.

Hannah Stuart, domestic extremism expert at the Henry Jackson Society, said:

'We saw Mr Hussen on TV looking very innocent, holding a teddy bear. But he was linked with individuals who espouse an extremist ideology.

'The impression given was that Islamic extremism was an alien world to his daughter. This footage suggests it wasn't.'

Mr Hussen's daughter, Amira Abase, 15, fled the UK with two of her closest friends to join Islamic State last month sparking a national outcry.

Mr Hussen, who is originally from Ethiopia, led public appeals for her return as their families blamed the authorities for failing to stop them. ………………………….

The mendacity of the "moderate" muslim and the "liberal" non-muslims (like the despicable sh!thead Christine Fair) who celebrate shariat while at the same time calling anyone who points out that the virulence is in the core of islam, the religion, as a "racist bigot", because you see "Islam is a race".

It is very easy to pick apart the flimsy defense of Islam in this article, which is applauded as "brilliant" by the dimwitted liberal arts imbeciles who seem to infest policy making circles everywhere.

The summary of the article is "Islam does not need reformation because muslims are the biggest victims of islamist violence" (apparently the targeting of non muslims by majority muslim populaces in most muslim countries is just an abberation). Anyone else see parallels with "Pakistan is a biggest victim of pakistani terrorism" in this argument?

Most of the "arguments" in that article are just straight forward polemic with zero logic, so I will skip to the core "argument" of this pro-shariat "moderate" muslim Haroon Moghul.

First, and ‘most problematic,’ are the ‘Medina Muslims’ (though she started with ‘fundamentalists,’ before mooting and dismissing ‘Millenarian Muslims’—it takes her time to settle on ‘Medina Muslims.’) Medina Muslims want us to be ruled by ‘sharia’, or ‘Islamic religious law,’ one of countless indicators she’s in over her head. Hirsi Ali believes roughly 3% of the world’s Muslims are Medina Muslims, but that’s ~45,000,000 too many. She and I are in concord. The belief that ‘sharia’ exists to be forcibly imposed must be rejected.

So (a) "sharia" exists but will not be forcibly imposed and such arguments must be rejected. Why? Because Haroon Moghul says so, and he don't like Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Moghul then comes up with this statement demonstrating mastery of duplicitous islamist rhetoric.

Though not any kind of scholar of any kind of Islam, Hirsi Ali must know that no Muslim would accept these conditions. Not just because they’re anathema, but because they’re nonsensical, something even National Review editor Rich Lowry agrees is obvious.

What are these tenets of Ayaan Hirsi Ali that is grabbing the goat of this "moderate" muslim?

(a) Rejection of ‘the Prophet Muhammad’s semi-divine and infallible status along with the literalist reading of the Qur’an, particularly those parts that were revealed in Medina.’

(b) Rejection of ‘Sharia, the body of legislation derived from the Qur’an.’

So essentially, no muslim will ever give up the tenets in the Quran (but the ISIS are not true muslims because they...err...follow the tenets in the Quran quite strictly) and no muslim can reject the "shariat" as the core set of rules for all muslims, even above other rules laid down by constitutions. So why should "islamophobic" non muslims not be concerned that the shariat will be in force once the muslims numerically outnumber the non muslims, as has already happened in many many countries? Because Haroon Moghul and the "liberal secularists" of Christine Fair's ilk say so. What are you, a bigot like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, that you actually think these tenets are not a display of islamophobia and muslim hating?

Second are ‘Mecca Muslims,’ who practice Islam the way Hirsi Ali thinks Christians and Jews do, which is really the wrong way, because it’s contrary to Islam. Mecca Muslims refuse to recognize that ‘Islam is not a religion of peace’; that groups like ISIS haven’t ‘hijacked’ the faith, they are the faith.

That most Muslims disagree, that most of those massacred by ISIS are other Muslims, or that most of the men and women taking up arms against ISIS are Muslim doesn’t deter Hirsi Ali. Indeed no evidence can, because that which rests on no evidence cannot be undermined by any evidence.

So according to Moghul ISIS has "hijacked" the faith, even though all that the ISIS is doing is explicitly and faithfully adhering to every word in the Quran, but that does not matter because "muslims are the biggest victims of ISIS" just like "Pakistanis are the biggest victims of pakistani terrorism."

so who is this "moderate" muslim Haroon Moghul you ask?

Haroon Moghul is the Fellow in Muslim Politics and Societies at the Center on National Security at Fordham Law School. He's a graduate student at Columbia University, a widely-recognized speaker on Islamic thought and Muslim history, and the author of The Order of Light (Penguin 2006). Haroon's writings have been featured on Foreign Policy, Boston Review, Salon, Tikkun, Religion Dispatches, Al-Jazeera and Dawn. He is a Fellow at the Institute of Social Policy and Understanding and Senior Editor at The Islamic Monthly. His essay, "Prom InshAllah," is featured in Salaam, Love: American Muslim Men on Love, Sex, and Intimacy (Beacon 2014).

This guerrila islamist with harvard creds is apparently a "liberal muslim" who just happens to think that the Shariat and the Quran cannot ever be reformed, and anyone who says otherwise is an islamophobic muslim hater. Just goes to show what an utter sh1thole harvard and columbia are, when it comes to humanities.

This disease is larger than just the "moderate" muslims, "liberal" christians and religious people want to defend these islamist thugs because they are afraid that their own regressive religion will be targeted next.

To twist around Martin Niemoller's oft quoted cliche:

"when they came for Islam, I did not speak up, and when they came for christianity I did not speak, and when they came for X, I did not speak up, and when they came for Y, I did not speak up, and now my pet delusions are being targeted, and I have no one left to defend my insanity"

And what would we all do in a non delusional, religion-free world, huh? would be utter disaster.

To quote Ricky Gervais: "To suggest that I hate people practising religion because I hate religion, is like suggesting I hate people with cancer because I hate cancer". The atheist version of christian babble "hate the sin, not the sinner".

This one is also classic, this islamist Haroon Moghul actually defends the practise of Zakat being enforced on non believer and argues that this is a great example of "Islam unifying people" and is actually a version of "affirmative action" (we just have to ignore all the non muslims who were slaughtered after a "convert or die" threat before they were made to pay zakat -- orwellian to the core.

These "clannish" identities he speaks about are all muslim clans, non muslims are not part of this islamic "affirmative action" a.k.a zakat.

Sure, but it also unites people. Whereas the Arabs were once torn apart by interminable feuding, today nearly 1 out of 4 of the world’s inhabitants are Muslim. The social glue of Muhammad’s grand experiment was zakat, an obligatory tithe of 2.5% distributed to the neediest regardless of their clannish identities. An analogy to affirmative action wouldn’t be entirely unwarranted: sometimes you have to force diversity in the hope that it becomes second nature.

Shivji, The dark green seems to itch to pick a fight with anyone a lesser shade of their green, and the darkest green is pitted against everyone. What is more interesting and dangerous is how the darker shades of green wear the cloak of lighter shades of green (or the kafirs who support all shades of green) provide rhetorical cover to the darkest shades -- groups like CAIR that represent these darker shades are able to create terms like "islamophobia" and control the narrative to defend their bigotry (and get these other to do defend their bigotry) from anyone who criticizes their violence and bigotry aimed at everyone less green.

You haven't been watching her long enough. Had a personal encounter with that person (on social media) when she and her husband were writing on-the-fence articles questioning whether Namo had the credentials for running a country given his communal behavior in gujarat. This woman and her husband did a very clever U-turn -- they can estimate political-wind direction with better accuracy than most. Granted. I remember being pulled up by this woman for stating that the Muslim Brotherhood had a history of jihadi behavior starting from the times of Syed Qutb, when she endearingly called me an anti-muslim bigot and a hatemonger. Headteachers fear UK pupils will flee to Syria during Easter holiday

Headteachers in London are scared that British pupils will use the Easter holiday break to flee their homes to join ISIL in Syria.

Nazir Afzal, who stepped down in his role as chief prosecutor this week, says that London headteachers have been made aware of dozens of boys and girls that may flee to Syria after being seduced by the violent ideology of ISIL.

Afzal is aware of at least two London headteachers who have approached him fearing their students may travel to Syria, but are worried that if they report their concerns to the police their pupils will face criminal charges.

Parents that suspect their children of planning to travel to Syria to join ISIL face a devastating dilemma. Many don’t want to turn to the authorities as they don’t trust the police, scared that their children may face punishment without having committed a crime. But they are also desperate to stop them.

Azfal says that headteachers are “told to direct parents to the police, but the parents don’t want the police to be told and the heads don’t want to criminalize their pupils…It can't just be a police responsibility because sadly many people in our communities don't trust the police.”

There have been several high profile cases of young British students travelling to Syria via Turkey without detection, including the case of the three London schoolgirls from Bethnal Green Academy. Mohammed Emwazi, also known as “Jihadi John,” is perhaps the most infamous case.

The news comes a day after Turkish authorities stopped nine British nationals as they attempted to enter Syria. The Metropolitan police have estimated that around 600 Brits have fled to Syria and Iraq, with approximately half already believed to have returned to Britain.

According to them, the number of those practicing Islam will grow larger in the coming 50 years vs. the number of adherents of other religions.

I'm not so sure about stopping Islamic banking. All this means is that a substantial amount of Muslim savings will slip our banking net and go to countries where it is permitted. The advantage is that the banks don't have to give interest, although other means of earning from deposits are there. French banks were making a killing for a while in the East Med with this ... If it is adequately regulated such that only local banks like SBI, Bank of Baroda, ICICI etc can offer this facility, then I'm not sure I see where the problem lies. It's just another instrument. What matters the colour of the cat, if it catches mice...

I heard somewhere that the biggest Islamic banking hub is London?

Banks seem to love islamic banking because they just have to claim no interest on paper and then recover the fees from "service charges" and such. Not interest free at all, just "shariat compliant", though encouraing shariat in general seems like a tacit encouragement of the barbarism behind that ideology...but even the money of violent barbarians is green, I suppose.

If it is adequately regulated such that only local banks like SBI, Bank of Baroda, ICICI etc can offer this facility, then I'm not sure I see where the problem lies. It's just another instrument. I seriously doubt if India is losing any substantial amounts. I will do research to find the numbers. For the money we are making/saving by allowing Islamic banking, we are paying a steep civilizational costs.

Religious minorities don't have any say in European countries having things like Church Tax and West Asian countries having Zakat Tax etc., Similarly India must force whatever economic system it wants/needs on all its citizens.

The colour of the cat matters in our scenario because all we see is the cat and have no clue if/when it is catching the mice.

i think banks may even make more on this because the calculations can be made complicated and direct comparisons harder (percentage vs percentage, interest amount vs interest amount etc).

Teenage Muslim women, especially in the west but cocooned in Islamic conservative milieu, cannot rebel in any more transparent way than by being more Islamic than their parents. They can quote chapter and verse justifying their vajihad which leaves their fathers concerned but hadithically emasculated. What's a soft jihadi father to do? It's either that or an earful of vaginal monologue in the European style. So the girls go Syria, Sharia and then at the very least gonorrhea.

My "mentor" at my first job was a Paki. Nice chap actually, but very very kattar Islamic. he was a mohajir.
I asked him WTF Islamic banking was and how it worked. I wanted to understand how economists missed out on this great awesome divine way of banking. He explained it to me and it sounded more like a "hire Purchase" scheme and instead of using the word "interest", they called it "fees" or some other halaal islamic word. I told him that and he got agitated and did some more explaining which did not make me think that it was anything different. He started to get angry, so I changed topic. I have talked to some other people and still my opinion is the same.

So it is like Islam in general. Shiny and H&D filled from outside, but rotten from inside.

PS: This Paki mentor told me that he had several pr0n movies that he was getting rid of (after using intensely

) and wanted to know if I wanted them. Of course, those were the days before me getting halaaled and before everything was so easily available on yootoob and dailymotion.

Research on Muslim women gets fatwa

BAREILLY: The Sunni Barelvi Markaz of Dargah Ala Hazrat on Saturday passed a fatwa decrying the findings of a survey by a research student of the law department at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule (MJP) Rohilkhand University on Muslim women's views on marriage, divorce, 'iddat' (the fixed time period after divorce) and maintenance allowance.

The survey said that 40% Muslim women wanted a change in the sharia law, 30% wanted the right to divorce, and as many as 80% demanded equal right in property as men. Twenty per cent were of the opinion that the time period of 'iddat' should be scrapped.

The survey, titled "Status of Muslim women and protective laws in socio-legal system", was conducted by Shumaila Anjum, a research scholar of MJP Rohilkhand University. She spoke to 100 women belonging to different sections of society in the Rohilkhand region.

Taking note of the survey the muftis of Dargah Ala Hazrat issued a fatwa against it and said that "sharia law cannot be changed and no one has right to demand amendment in it". However, the research scholar, who now finds herself in the eye of a storm, reacted by saying that the "survey was conducted for improving the lives of Muslim women".

Mufti Mohammed Saleem Noori, one of three Muftis who passed a fatwa against the survey, said, "It is a negative survey as it is based on misleading questions. Like a survey or campaign cannot be launched for bringing an amendment to the Constitution of the country, Islamic law cannot be changed and no one has a right to demand an amendment to any of its clauses."

He added, "No one can demand an amendment in shariat law and it is wrong to say that it oppresses women. The law is equal for both men and women and those women who spoke in the survey are not fully aware about the law."

The other muftis who issued the fatwa are Mufti Mohammed Afroz Alam and Mufti Mohammed Aakil Razvi. A wing of Dargah Ala Hazrat, Tahreek-e-Tahaffuz Sunniat (TTS), also conducted its own survey in this connection and said its findings revealed that all Muslim women disagreed with the one conducted by Anjum.

Asked about it, Anjum said the findings of her survey were an honest reflection of what women feel and it is their perception. Amit Singh, head of the law department under whose guidance Anjum had conducted the survey, said, "The survey was a part of an academic exercise. It is not the first time that women have expressed such thing as time and again, many groups of Muslim women have expressed similar views before of Muslim Law Board."

Criticizing the issuance of the fatwa, advocate and women's right expert Asma Zaidi said, "Now issuing fatwa has become a trend and muftis pass it for petty things or issues. Women want change and Prophet Mohammed always endorsed education among women. Even the wife of the Prophet was an entrepreneur and her money was utilized for spreading Islam."

I think this is one of the more effective way to attack sharia law and muslim exclusiveness by giving voice to muslim women. Not only can the sickulars object to such studies, it will find support with women of other faiths.

I had exactly the same experience with a Nigerian fellow .. all pious & 'appropriately' dressed.
He tried to explain it saying that the bank would give you a loan & then instead of interest, ask you to pay towards a charity, or say, a house being constructed for someone (with the bank itself being a co-owner).
The guy just vanished after a couple more questions on why this is not an interest, even if worded differently!
