They'll simply follow and adapted bin laden template.

1. Deny that Dawood was ever there in Pakistan.

2. Claim that Indians attempted to breach their sovirginity but were given a befitting reply by the aitami kuwwat.

3. Ask for the proof and the body.

4. Claim that as fake, threaten to use nukes.

5. Someone somewhere will claim that Paki forces took out Dawood in a secret mission and the Indians were claiming credit. After all they cannot claim joint ops can they?

Isn't that Gandhigiri? Thats exactly what Gandhi preached, didn't he?

As for Burqa, my problem is not that it covers skin. All clothes are supposed to cover skin. Its just too extreme for my taste and I assume the same is true for most people not blinded by religious dogma. I think extreme nudity or extreme cover up must be avoided.

Even so, Arabs are free to come up with their own culture suitable to their society. But, non-arabs blindly copying arabs is definitely not right. Every society must come up with culture which suits their society rather than copying some other society blindly.

Pakistan successfully issues new Bond of $500m in Eurobond market – Coupon Rate 8.5 Per Cent
Pakistan came to the market on the back of a good track record of economic management since its last issue. The investors were appreciative of the progress made in stabilising the economy and reforms carried out in critical sectors of energy, privatisation, tax administration and investment climate.
The launching of the Euro bond, the third global issue in less than two years, highlights the government’s lack of commitment to structural reforms hampering economic growth, according to independent economists.

Or be a good little Hindu. Claim that no matter how outrageous things are, Hinduism preaches tolerance so turn the other cheek and be a nice little boy(Krishna may have said something and all in the Gita but thats mythology so unacceptable). So there. Meanwhile rave and rant at all those Hindus who speak up and a) call them communal b ) say they are anti Hindu since Hinduism tolerates everything c) claim they are being primeval since religion is so outmoded and its progressive times y'all d) daleets, caste-shaste, cows, curry, RSS, fascist, HITLER, so there.

no offence, but this is what must have caused the heart attack in the BCCI senior management circles.

After earlier threatening to nuke us, the pakis are now threatening to boycott us and all to note, it's "a hard hitting statement" onlee. :)

PCB chief Shaharyar Khan threatens to boycott India: Report
PCB chief Shaharyar Khan threatens to boycott India: Report
Karachi, Sep 25

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyar Khan has threatened to boycott India in ICC and Asian Cricket Council events if the BCCI officially refused to play the proposed series against Pakistan in December, according to a report.

In a hard-hitting statement, Khan said it was disappointing that until now the BCCI had not even sought permission for the December series from the concerned ministry in India.
"Nothing is final or decided as yet but if the Indian Board officially backs out of the series, then we have the option of boycotting all matches against them in ICC and ACC events as well," Khan was quoted as saying by 'Express' newspaper.

Khan, a retired career diplomat, said that with December approaching, the BCCI needs to come out with a clear reply to the letter sent by the PCB regarding the status of the proposed series.

"I sent the letter on 28 August and I am still waiting for a reply. They (the BCCI) should tell us whether they want to play the series or not. Because if they say they don't have government clearance and refuse to play the series, then we reserve the right to act against the Indian Board for not honoring an agreement at every level," Khan added.

The PCB chief also said that since the secretary of the BCCI -- Anurag Thakur -- was a politician, that was why he was giving negative statements on Indo-Pak relations.
Khan made it clear that if the BCCI backed out of the MoU signed for the proposed series, then Pakistan would have to consider several options and one of them could be the refusal to play against India in ICC and ACC events or at any level.

"I am not saying we have decided to do this or we will do it but certainly if we don't get to host our home series in December, then we have to consider appropriate action as well," he said.

India and Pakistan have not played against each other since 2007, the last time the two countries played a proper bilateral Test series.

Pakistan toured India in late 2012 for a short one-day series, and apart from that tour, the two countries have only played against each other in ICC or ACC events.

So if Pakistan decides to boycott india in lets say the ICC world cup, that'll amount to a bye == win for india and then the indian cricket team can progress on to the next stage right na?

Sounds even better now that its coming from the Pakis

Lahore High Court website hacked again
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court website seems highly vulnerable to hacking as it was hacked for the second time on Thursday.

An Indian allegedly ( innocent until proven guilty ? :D )hacked the website last year and now some unidentified person has done it putting the data/information of the high court at risk.

The hacker left a message saying, “We are not damaging the data of the website but the index.” The unidentified hacker further said the LHC website was very vulnerable to hacking and the acts of “illegal control” of the website would be continued in future. “The hacking spree would be continued till freedom of Palestine.”

However, the IT department of the court restored the website.
Subliminal message that, this time too, it is an "alleged Indian" maybe, the hacker is trying to give a message - IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF YOUR WEBSITE :rotfl:

Do the pakis pay back the money invested in those bonds, or do they try further tricks like giving back partially, or asking the investor to further invest in the upcoming scheme or some such ponzi scheme?

Read somewhere that he will make a "peace gesture" towards India. If true, it will be another one of those media-grabbing maneuvers. I wish the ModiJi's visit continues like this, completely ignoring that TSP abomination and concentrate on all other other good things he is doing for India. And I hope it doesn't revert to the usual circus. A likely scenario could be that TSP will call up their "good friend" Burka Bibi who is following ModiJi in US, they will give her a cue, make some grand-standing statement, she will report it with great fan-fare on what TSP is offering with some of her Paki "friends" repeating what ISI told them to, and "South Asia experts" endorsing the same, and poor ModiJi will be forced to respond; it will India said this, TSP said that thereafter. Lets wait and watch.

US-India declaration
EDITORIAL

THE hyphenated relationship is back, it appears. Pakistan-India, or India-Pakistan to much of the outside world, has at various points in history irritated one side or the other, the contention of Pakistan and India being that the other country’s issues and concerns were being given too much weight.

During the Af-Pak era, the hyphen was dropped by the US. Now that most of the US troops have gone from Afghanistan and the US-India strategic partnership is getting fresh attention, the hyphen appears to be back.

Following the India-US Strategic and Commercial Dialogue, US Secretary of State John Kerry and Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj issued the Joint Declaration on Combating Terrorism. Its Pakistan-heavy emphasis will surely upset security establishment circles here.

Not only did Pakistan earn an explicit reference — “call for Pakistan to bring to justice the perpetrators of the 2008 Mumbai attack” — but so did Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, the Haqqani network and the so-called D Company.

Over and on top of that, there is specific condemnation of the Gurdaspur and Udhampur militant attacks earlier in the summer — attacks that India blames on Pakistan-based militants.

Set aside emotions and there are really two aspects to consider here. First, for all the various claims made by both sides in recent years, the Pak-US relationship is essentially transactional in nature and, on key issues, there is a great deal of divergence.

Because national security here has been militarised, there continues to be a degree of security cooperation between the US and Pakistan. But there is little real understanding, sympathy or even interest in Pakistan in the US beyond the narrow security-based relationship.

The US may be one of Pakistan’s biggest trading partners and a significant percentage of Pakistan’s, admittedly paltry, foreign investment comes from there, but economically and politically the relationship is stagnant.

Worryingly, Pakistan has few friends in the US Congress, suggesting more episodes such as the recent withholding of a portion of CSF funds may be on the cards.

Second, this country and its leadership need to ask themselves a hard question: why does Pakistan continue to be such a hospitable place for extremist and militants elements that threaten the region and friendly countries further away?

There may be a right-wing government in India hostile to Pakistan, but the latter’s terrorism problem has much deeper roots. Zero tolerance for extremism and militancy is in Pakistan’s interest. Such a policy though has yet to manifest itself here.

From TFT
So there we have it. Our self-styled Bhabi, three months short of celebrating her first wedding anniversary, is apparently on her way out. But she won’t go quietly. The buzz is that she’s asking The Great Khan for one million greenbacks to call it quits. But the fact of the matter, according to a reliable source, is that she’ll settle for 350,000 pound sterling. The Khan has answered that demand with his own counter offer — he says he has only 200,000 greenbacks to give and not a penny more. So negotiations are continuing.

nothing new hear other than this para

Finally, a rather sinister development is already making waves in the media. This is the question of whether or not Gen Raheel Sharif deserves an extension in service before he retires at the end of next year – “for doing such a great job as the saviour of Pakistan against the scourge of terrorism and corruption” – unlike his predecessor General Kayani. It may be recalled that in the latter months of his first tenure, Gen Kayani destabilized the PPP government on at least two occasions even as a debate about his extension was raging the media.

Watching the Paki news recently looks like ISPR has quite a few stooges singing the same tune of how Bad Sharif is setting things right. these stooges are a now a diverse mix. I was surprised to see Shahid Afridi singing this tune.

Above as reported in the YAWN Editorial

The recent visit of Secretary Kerry to Nai Dilli was completely blacked out in the Pakistan English Press,
probably on the directive of the Pak Fauj, and in keeping with the recent clampdown on Balochistan/ FATA operations, the Khujli being suffered at the LOC, and the muzzling of MQM/ Altaf Bhai

From The TFT (Trouble In Kaptaan's Paradise)
People are asking why it’s come to a head so quickly. Apparently, there was trouble in paradise from Day One. Marry in haste, repent at leisure, as they say. The Khan discovered, rather belatedly, that his spouse had accepted prohibitively expensive gifts from the wife of his property baron party man and now prime candidate in a Lahore by-election. There were other matters too, over which the couple began to fall out. It all came to a head when The Khan’s sons came to visit him. There was talk of a selfie he took with his elder son, later posted on social media by his former spouse, asking innocently who was the taller of the two. Apparently, Bhabi took umbrage at that as well. On this, So, having lived in Londonistan for so long, still Begum Sahiba did not imbibe the culture there, and felt "jealous" by this innocent gesture by the mother of a son ; it would have been much better if she had remained in Pakisatan  The Khan exploded, as well he might, given the fact that his Bani Gala residence was overrun by his missus’ clan. And so on and so forth. They say the nuptials are now irretrievably damaged and it’s a matter of time before the parting is announced -

From The TFT:

False sense of security

The late lamented Big Ben’sPakistan people's party is a royal mess, that we know. But how big a mess comes as a surprise to many political pundits. For instance, it was recently revealed that for all his hand-wringing about being left out of theLoneRangers’ clean-up measures in Sinned,Sind the Octogenarian CM had a pretty good idea about Dr A’sAsim's arrest before it happened. They say he urged Dr A, Hubby’sZardari's close friend, to stay away and not return to Karachi. Dr A,Dr. Asim lulled into a false sense of security by his insider informants returned and lived to rue the day. Upon his return, the OctogenarianCM of Sind urged him to get a return ticket and take off but Dr A Dr. Asim went confidently to his office from where he was arrested.

Hubby Zardari also insists that he’s staying away because he had credible news that “they” (read Deep State :D ) were going to attack his home with rockets.

Dus Percenti, being the smart political animal, read the writing on the wall, and skipped town (as the Yanks say !) :rotfl:

Paki needs no cricket, more money in meat market.Bet he donate the skins of animals to JUD.

Meat One will hand you the full spoils of your slaughter should you so desire. Both the butchery and the quality of the meat offered by Meat One are excellent, though this isn’t a surprise considering the names of the company’s founders. As you may be aware, the owners of Meat One are former Pakistan international cricketers, Saeed Anwar and Inzamam-ul-Haq. Now I don’t know about you, but I sincerely believe this man knows his meat:

Eid is big business for many, and part-time butchers who are clueless about what they are doing are often hired by people interested in low-cost solutions. Unfortunately, these part time butchers are brutal, increasing the agony of an animal tenfold. Some animals, instead of being mercifully killed in seconds, die in needless pain after bleeding to death for several long minutes.Particularly disgusting is the way a camel is slaughtered in Pakistan. Typically, a small wound is punctured in the camel’s neck, after which the beast runs around screaming as blood gushes from the cavity.Ahem. Yes, there is a reason why my anecdotes don't go over well at Eid parties. This particular anecdote about camel slaughtering above once caused an entire Eid meal to be packed away uneaten.

Inside Scoop On The Badebar Attack

The war is not over (directly contradicting the Propagandu Unit Of PA (aka ISPR)
A group of armed militants stormed a Pakistan Air Force camp in the Badaber area of Peshawar on September 18. At least 29 soldiers and civilians died in the attack, including 16 worshippers in a mosque. All 13 of the attackers were also killed.
The TTP’s propaganda wing continued to send out updates during the attack, and their spokesman Muhammad Khurassani sent emails to reporters claiming responsibility for the attack.

It was the worst attack of its kind since the December 2014 carnage in which Taliban stormed the Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar and massacred around 150 children and their teachers. Both thero attacks were planned by Taliban commander Khalifa Omar Mansoor.

In February, militants attacked an Imambargah in the Hayatabad area of Peshawar, leaving 21 worshippers dead.
The"Miscreants", having now gained experience are "carefully" selecting their targets, for maximum impact and that probably explains the fall in the number of "terrorist incidents"
The reduction in major terrorist attacks is linked to the military operation Zarb-e-Azb, which was launched in June 2014 to target TTP and other local and foreign militant outfits in North Waziristan. According to the government, more than 3,000 militants have been killed during the offensive so far and the militants are on the run.

Is independent verification available ?
Soon after the incident, the military said the Badaber camp attack was orchestrated from Afghanistan. “The operation was carried out by a splinter group of TTP. The attackers came from Afghanistan, and the attack was planned, executed and controlled from Afghanistan,” Gen Asim Bajwa, the director-general of ISPR, said during a press conference in Peshawar. “No one can say that the Afghan government is behind this, but the fact is that it was launched from Afghanistan.”

The statement, followed by harsher ones by Defense Minister Khwaja Asif, appears to relish his role as "the attack dog of Pak Fauj" signals the already tense ties between Islamabad and Kabul may be worsening.
“It has now become a tradition that Islamabad and Kabul blame each other when a terrorist attack takes place on their soil,” says Hasan Khan, the group editor of Akhbar-e-Khyber. He says militants from both sides use the ungoverned border areas between the two countries for their activities. “Instead of blaming each other, the two neighbors should start coordinated efforts to curb militancy on both sides of the border,” he says. “If Islamabad-Kabul relations are strained, it will benefit the militants on either sides. The blame game also creates resentment and mistrust between the people of the two countries.” -

Jhujar- ji :
On reading the YAWN article, I noticed that there is no mention of "On -Line -Purchase/Selling of Bakra Eid Animals" :D ; so they are still conducting this commerce as in the Stone Age :D ; or maybe, there is already some "Fatwa" in existence against "this modern day method of buying and selling" :rotfl:

The Pot is Boiling at the right temperature. but nothing will happen as of now unless something drastic happens.
Also, if massa is not going to give any more Coilition support funds, and Nawaz Sharif tries to select a new COAS, a coup will most likely be done.

Bad sharif, will keep Badmash sharif on the tenterhooks by keeping the pot boiling on a slow simmer.

If Bad Sharif, gets an extension, then that will mean that a whole lot of fauji Jernail careers will be jeopardized. Money/plum, ghoos-eating postings will have to be given to the crore commanders, land will have to be allotted, and post-reitrement ambassadorship/Fauji foundation CEOship will have to be allocated

Usually the COAS of Pakistan will get what he wants.
So Bad Sharif will probably be here for another three years.

My understanding of the "500 Million Euro Bond " issue, is that there is going to be a shortfall of this amount in their next year's fiscal budget, which has to be balanced; ( expenditures are more by approx 500 Million vs the revenue/receipts projected ); they need to finance this deficit, which WB, IMF, four-fathers etc, earlier refused to oblige them due to their past records, their perfidy, corruption, etc etc ; therefore, they were forced to apply to the international bond market, who have agreed to give them 500million ( 8.50% interest!) interest to be paid regularly, but principal (500 Million ) may be due after a long time ( 20-25 yrs - dont recall the term); so day by day, they are going in further debt, which the future generations of aam abduls will be burdened with; maybe, they should have asked the crore commanders, Dus Percenti, or Ganja Sharif to make their donations towards this deficiency

The bond will fund the upcoming maturity of a 10-year, $500-million bond issued in 2006.

The bond has been issued to payback the principal of the bond issued in 2006 which matures in Mar 2016 :) . This bond is of 10 year duration as well.

Need to rent a mob in Pakistan? BBC News goes into the murky world of:
Investigating Pakistan's 'mobs for hire'
Some juicy quotes:
"Gathering a mob - what's so difficult about that?" he says. "One phone call and a hundred people will come, they can throw stones till nothing is left and if that doesn't work, it costs very little to buy 10 litres of petrol and set things on fire."
Religion is often used as a rallying cry to stir up sentiments among people influenced by increasing religious radicalism in the country. Khwaja's huge compound contains the only mosque in the area and he chooses the prayer leader himself. His mosque, his cleric, his rules, he says.

Men like Khwaja are known as patrons or "Dera daars". Khwaja insists that he uses his religious influence, connections and political clout for the good of his community, but admits others have exploited mob power for their own purposes.

He explains: "It doesn't take much to gather hundreds against someone you may have a personal enmity with. If they are from a religious minority, you just say they committed blasphemy or burned the Koran, and everyone will follow, no one will verify the truth of it."
There is even a video interview with one of the mob brokers, where he openly discusses some of the tactics. From the video:
"People have personal feuds and problems that they turn into religious issues and instigate mobs and violence ensues after that. Any lie could be spread that, a certain person, for example, has burned the pages of the Quran, or something like that. Nobody is going to verify that information, they will just follow it and gather a mob!"
Perhaps this link should be preserved in the sticky first post. What say you, mods?
