When will these people learn to take responsibility for their own actions

It is a long haul. 120 day requirement of crude would mean at current and near term growth trends would mean around 45 to 50 million tonnes. Projects on hand for constructing additional storage facilities is about 8 million tonnes. See the link below.Bheeshma wrote:Good build up oil reserves for 120 days by buying cheap oil and gas. Syrian rebels trained by the United States gave some of their equipment to the al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front in exchange for safe passage, a U.S. military spokesman said on Friday, the latest blow to a troubled U.S. effort to train local partners to fight Islamic State militants.
The rebels surrendered six pick-up trucks and some ammunition, or about one-quarter of their issued equipment, to a suspected Nusra intermediary on Sept. 21-22 in exchange for safe passage, said Colonel Patrick Ryder, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, in a statement.
"If accurate, the report of NSF members providing equipment to al Nusra Front is very concerning and a violation of Syria train and equip program guidelines," Ryder said, using an acronym for the rebels, called the New Syrian Forces.
The news was the most recent sign of trouble in a fledgling military effort to train fighters to take on the Islamic State militant group in Syria{This is an open admission that they are aiding terrorists}, where a 4-1/2-year civil war has killed about 250,000 people and caused nearly half of Syria's prewar population of 23 million to flee.
This article goes after the second theory in my above post which shrugs off the real issue as to why Jihadi govts of middle east and Israel are so deep in Syria.Russia's interests in Syria are different. The once-close historical ties between the Soviet Union and Baathist Syria have been attenuated since the fall of communism, when Russian funding for its erstwhile Middle Eastern proxy dried up. Enough connection remains to give Putin the idea of re-engaging with Syria. But Russia has no fundamental strategic interest in Assad or Syria. Putin is simply taking advantage of a target of opportunity. {load of bs}
From this analysis it follows that Putin is increasing support for Assad in order to use the possibility of a brokered peace as a bargaining chip in his troubled relationship with the West. That in turn raises two rather crude, yet all-important, questions: Could Putin deliver? And if he could, would the price (involving Ukraine) be worth it for the U.S. and Europe?
Perhaps no country in the world can match the revenue generated by tourism as in KSA. It is estimated that Haj and Umrah taken together contribute more than 20 per cent of non-oil Gross Development Product (GDP) of the Kingdom. It is further estimated that this income comprises about seven per cent of the KSA’s total GDP.
To be sure, the statistics reflect the multiplier effect on the economy, as every riyal spent brings about four additional riyals. Business reports conclude that Saudi tourism, especially the religious variety, is recession proof
They want to ensure Europe's dependence on Gazprom. Russia and Iran will fortify whatever is left of gov controlled Syria and play footsies with the Kurds to keep the Saudi-Qatari pipeline project from reaching the Mediterranean.Satya_anveshi wrote:Putin's play in Syria is part of a bigger plan: Bloomberg View

The coalition, which formed the United States, which is already a year and causes air strikes on the positions of the IG in Syria and Iraq, has not received the mandate of the UN Security Council, in addition, its actions are not formally agreed with the authorities in Damascus. It is unacceptable for Russia. The proposals of the Russian president, was first performed in June 2015 at a meeting in Moscow with the head of the Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem, can be summarized in the following theses:
The coalition should include all countries in the region, especially those who are at war with IG on the ground - the Syrian and Iraqi army, militias of Kurds.
The actions of the coalition must be approved by the UN Security Council.
The settlement of internal conflicts in the "problem countries", which are in the zone of influence of the IG, especially in Syria.
The economic recovery and social development in these countries.
According to the Russian govt, it only has been supplying weapons and the russians there are for training and maintenance. I see no reason to doubt this. Its only the west which has been claiming that Russians are involved in combat.Russia has made it abundantly clear that they are taking an active role in this conflict.
Tehran, Sept 26, IRNA – Saudi Arabia barred a proposed visit by Iran’s Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh to the Iranian pilgrims wounded in Mina tragic stampede, it was reported on Saturday.
According to the Health Ministry’s spokesperson Iraj Harirchi, the Saudi officials also refused to provide necessary facilities for the dispatch of an Iranian team to help aid those pilgrims who were injured in the incident.
He said the Iranian health ministry announced readiness to dispatch a medical team to Saudi Arabia immediately after the catastrophic incident to assist the Iranian pilgrims there but were denied access by the Saudi officials. More reason that the Muslim Ummah should take away Hajj arrangement from the Saudis
The relatives of the most disastrous fatal even in the history of Hajj pilgrimage are still shocked with hearts filled with deep sorrow both in Saudi Arabia in Iranian pilgrims’ camps and back home in Iran, awaiting justice to be observed for the creators of this catastrophe for the Islamic world.
Many world experts, political and religious officials believe mismanagement was the real cause for the various incidents in this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, including the fall of a huge crane, a fire disaster in a hotel, a fire which spread in the camp of the Egyptian pilgrims in Mina desert, and above all, Mina stampede. If the management of their oil economy has been "successfully outsourced" to non-Saudi nationals, why not "try" the management of this important tenet of Malsi ; that way, the blame also can be shifted elsewhere![]()
‘Bismillah’ campaign song debate heats up between AKP, opposition
Justice and Development Party (AKP) Deputy Chairman Bekir Bozdağ has said his party will object the Supreme Election Board (YSK) decision to ban the use of “Bismillah” (in the name of God) in the AKP’s campaign jingle for the upcoming snap election.
“Saying ‘bismillah’ is not using religion for politics, as every Muslim in our country starts working by saying it. Can you even forbid any politician from using ‘bismillah’?” Bozdağ told reporters late on Sept. 24.This is what is called as "playing to the religious sentiments of the people for cheap purposes"![]()
The issue also arose during the exchange of Eid al-Ahda greetings on Sept. 25 between the Republican People’s Party (CHP), which had applied to the YSK for the ban, and the AKP.
CHP deputy Sezgin Tanrıkulu reacted against AKP deputy Ahmet Gündoğdu when the latter said the CHP “protested the use of ‘bismillah.’”
“The ‘bismillah’ is sacred,” Tanrıkulu said, accusing the AKP of abusing a value shared by the whole country for party interests.
He also claimed that the AKP deliberately used the phrase despite knowing the YSK would ban it, as the party again wanted to portray itself as a victim.
Last month, the Syrian civilians living in the government-controlled parts of Syria had little be optimistic about: the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) was spread too thin and on the defensive at most fronts, while the humanitarian crisis inside the country spread to the provinces that were once relatively unaffected by the violence (i.e. Al-Sweida).
Well, “hope springs eternal” when hundreds of Russian Marines and dozens of Russian jets enter your country; this was the case in the overcrowded provinces of Latakia and Tartous, as large crowds gathered near the coast to welcome these Russian naval infantrymen and their advanced military hardware.
Those previously depressed civilians in the government-controlled part of Syria are now oozing with optimism, thanks in large part to the recent news of China’s military partnership with their Russian allies.
Earlier this week, a Chinese naval vessel crossed through Egypt’s Suez Canal and entered the Mediterranean Sea; its destination was unknown, but that did not make a difference to the Syrian people because the news circulating around the country indicated that China’s participation in this brutal conflict was imminent.
According to a senior officer in the Syrian Arab Army that is stationed inside the coastal province of Latakia, “the Chinese will be arriving in the coming weeks.”
When asked to elaborate, the officer responded that Chinese military personnel were expected to join the Russians Marines stationed around Syria’s western countryside.
Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria have agreed to establish a joint information center in Baghdad to coordinate their operations against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIL/ISIS) militants, according to sources.
“The main goal of the center will be gathering, processing and analyzing current information about the situation in the Middle East – primarily for fighting IS,” a military-diplomatic source told Russian news agencies on Saturday.
The information center in the Iraqi capital will be headed by an officer of one of the founding countries on a rotating basis. Rotation will take place every three months. According to the source, Iraq will run the center for the next three months.
Russia, Iran, Iraq and Syria may also use the information center to coordinate anti-IS combat plans, the source said, adding that the agreement is a milestone for uniting the region’s countries in the war on terrorism – primarily on Islamic State militants.
The Iraqi army’s joint operations command confirmed the agreement on Saturday, saying that it came with “increased Russian concern about the presence of thousands of terrorists from Russia undertaking criminal acts with Daesh [Islamic State],” Reuters reported.
No need for any quid pro quo. Mohammadden religion sectarian dynamics ensures the Islamic republic of Iran will oppose any Sunni dominated group that seeks to supplant a group dominated by Non-Sunni’s.
