Stale prawns Recent news reports stated that Mush had an episode of ill health. Upon investigation it transpires that he ate stale prawns at a friend’s dinner party and had to see his doctor for a badly upset tummy.

Uncle Sam’s den
Our mole in Uncle Sam’s den has revealed that the late lamented Big Ben’s Hubby has had an unremarkable visit to the land of opportunity. We hear no one of any significance in the administration met him. There was said to be a meeting with a former embassador to Pakistan but the lady is no longer connected with anything subcontinental, so the utility of the meeting was questionable. There was also said to be a brief encounter with a Congressman of little import. On the whole, Hubby’s cross-Atlantic trip hasn’t added up to much.
Hands off!
Reliable sources say that The Man of Steel’s recent jibe at the Nabbers was not without cause. We’ve heard that the Nabbers presented The Man with a list of potential “victims” who were in their sights. Amongst these, we hear were two gentlemen who are thought to be close to The Man. This occasioned that stern riposte from The Man. “Hands off”, he is reported to have said.
Are we here talking here of the same outfit :
-which lost half its territory in a bloody civil war in 1971
- which, under international pressure had to withdraw its forces from Kargil after a humiliating defeat
- which is presently fighting an uprising in its largest province
- which is shamelessly dropping bombs by F16's in civilian areas of another province in the name of "fighting terrorism" - under pressure from an foreign government
A BBC investigation has found that Thailand, a country known for its hospitality to tourists, routinely arrests and detains asylum seekers. Many are Pakistani Christians who have fled religious persecution in their own country. Some are children. And they are held despite being UN-registered asylum seekers, whom the UN is under a duty to protect.
They would be risking their lives to worship like this in their homeland, where Islamist extremists force Christians to convert, or even kill them.
Leading the prayers is Pastor Joshua, a Christian from Lahore, in what is officially known as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Along with thousands of other Christians, he's had to flee to Thailand and still fears the people in Pakistan who punished him for converting from Islam to Christianity.
"My bone was broken - the one right above the heart. And they tried to cut my arm off," he says.
"My sister was murdered, she was burned alive, just because she spoke the word 'God'. They hate the word 'God' so much. She was burned for this reason alone."
The Pakistani Christians head to Thailand because it's easy to enter the country on a short-term tourist visa and in Pakistan's hostile neighbourhood there are few safe options closer to hand.
But there is hardly a welcoming committee in Thailand. The country doesn't want asylum seekers from anywhere. It is not a signatory to the United Nations Refugee Convention, and anyone without a valid visa or a work permit risks being arrested, charged with illegal immigration and jailed.
IMO, the blame for all this can squarely be laid on the doorstep of the Wahabi regime of SA and its "allies" in the Ummah world !
ISLAMABAD: Former president Pervez Musharraf has moved the Supreme Court (SC) to allow him go abroad for his treatment.
Musharraf’s counsel Farogh Naseem has taken the plea that his client was seriously ill and he was in dire need of treatment. He prayed the court to allow his client to go abroad for his treatment. His name should also be struck off the exit control list (ECL). He said that a petition was also pending with the SC seeking exclusion his name from the ECL. A decision should be given in this regard soon so that he could go abroad for his treatment. Court is also requested to issue directives to federal government to exclude his name from the ECL forthwith, he pleaded.
My guess: "Mushy" is now an expert in "reading the tea leaves"; with Bad Sharif - his patron - on his way out, he does not seem to have any allies left
WASHINGTON: A top US lawmaker has introduced a "joint resolution" in the House of Representatives to express Congress's disapproval over an arms deal with Pakistan which includes the sale of eight nuclear-capable F-16 fighter jets to the latter. "The government of Pakistan has been using weapons from the US to repress its own citizens and especially the people of Baluchistan," Congressman Dana Rohrabacher said on Thursday after he introduced the resolution in the House of Representatives which is similar to Indian Parliament's lower House, the Lok Sabha.
"The deciding factor of whether to support this joint resolution is, for me, the arrogant and hostile actions taken by the government of Pakistan against the man who helped bring Osama bin Laden to justice," Rohrabacher said.
"The government of Pakistan arrested Shakil Afridi and continues to hold him in a cage. The arrest was a declaration of hostility toward the United States," he said. "Our government should not provide military equipment to Pakistan, let alone F-16s, as long as they are holding Afridi. His continued incarceration is an action which underscores that the government of Pakistan considers itself our enemy, not our friend," Rohrabacher said. A day earlier, former Republican presidential candidate Senator Rand Paul introduced the joint resolution in the Senate to block sale of F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan.
The Obama administration, however, is hopeful that it would be able to overcome legislative challenges to proceed with the sale of F-16.
"The relationship between the US and Pakistan has been a troubled one. Though the government of Pakistan has been considered to be America's ally in the fight on terrorism, its behaviour would suggest otherwise. While we give them billions of dollars in aid, we are simultaneously aware of their intelligence and military apparatus assisting the Afghan Taliban," Senator Paul alleged
"In addition to Pakistan's duplicitous nature, it also has a deplorable human rights record. It often isolates and unjustly jails religious minorities and Christians," he claimed.
"Only after an international outcry did Pakistan commute Asa Bibi's death sentence. In addition to Pakistan's support of terrorism and deplorable human rights record, it continues to imprison Afridi who helped the US locate and kill Osama Bin
When everything is said and done, the jets will still be sold to them!
SLAMABAD: The Pakistani probe team has already arrived in India to probe the Pathankot airbase attack in Punjab, an official said.
Punjab counter-terrorism department chief Muhammad Tahir Rai, who heads the high-powered Joint Investigation Team (JIT), has reached India along with some other officials, The Nation quoted a senior official as saying on Thursday.
The official did not comment on the day the team left for India to probe the attack and for how many days it would be there.
WASHINGTON: The US State Department on Friday defended the decision to sell F-16 aircraft to Pakistan and endorsed Islamabad’s position that the planes were being used in counter-terrorism operations.“We support the proposed sale of eight F-16s to Pakistan to assist Pakistan’s counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations,” said a State Department spokesperson Helaena W. White.“Pakistan’s current F-16s have proven critical to the success of these operations to date,” she added, endorsing Pakistan’s position that it had effectively used its existing fleet of F-16s in counter-terrorism operations.India, and some US lawmakers, have rejected this claim, saying that the F-16s have not been useful in such operations and would ultimately be used against India.
But Ms White noted that the operations Pakistan was conducting in Fata with the help of F-16s, “reduce the ability of militants to use Pakistani territory as a safe haven for terrorism and a base of support for the insurgency in Afghanistan.”She also noted that “these operations are in the national interests of Pakistan, the United States, Nato, and in the interest of the region more broadly.”
Former Republican presidential candidate Senator Rand Paul introduced a joint resolution in the Senate on Wednesday, seeking to block the sale of F-16 fighter jets and other military hardware to Pakistan including eight Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suites and 14 Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems.“While we give them billions of dollars in aid, we are simultaneously aware of their intelligence and military apparatus assisting the Afghan Taliban,” said Senator Paul in the resolution, which has now been sent to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, who actively seeks to disintegrate Pakistan, moved another joint resolution in the House of Representatives.“The government of Pakistan has been using weapons from the US to repress its own citizens and especially the people of Balochistan,” said the lawmaker while introducing the resolution.Another former Republican presidential candidate, Senator John McCain, however, said that it was a difficult issue as both India and Pakistan were important for the United States.
ix people, including three brothers, are sentenced for offences involving the sexual exploitation of 15 teenage girls in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England.
Arshid Hussain, 40, was jailed for 35 years while siblings Basharat, 39, and Bannaras, 36, were jailed for 25 and 19 years respectively.
Their uncle, Qurban Ali, 53, who was found guilty of conspiracy to rape, was jailed for 10 years.
Associate Karen MacGregor, 59, was jailed for 13 years and Shelley Davies, 40, given an 18 month suspended term.
Bannaras Hussain pleaded guilty to 10 charges before the trial.
MacGregor and Davies were found guilty of false imprisonment and conspiracy to procure a woman under 21 to become a common prostitute. MacGregor was also convicted of two counts of conspiracy to rape.
n 2014, an inquiry revealed huge numbers of children, mainly girls in social care homes, had been abducted, raped and beaten by gangs of predominantly Asian men in Rotherham.
Police, social workers and council leaders were all severely criticised for failing to prevent the abuse and the inquiry said officials had not acted on evidence of abuse partly out of fear of being labelled racist.
Britain has been rocked by a series of child abuse scandals in recent years, although the Rotherham case was the most shocking.
Arshid and Basharat Hussain were found guilty at Sheffield Crown Court of 38 offences, including rape, indecent assault, abduction, false imprisonment and making threats to kill.
The British authorities should exploit legal angles to deport these scums to their land of origin !

-Phased withdrawal of Indian Army from Kashmir Valley. Only Central Police force will be there for maintaining law and order.
-Joint administration by Pakistan and India of the Kashmir valley including Srinagar.

HYDERABAD – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman has called the future of husbands in Punjab ‘horrible’ after passage of Protection of Women against Violence Bill 2015 in the Punjab Assembly.
Talking to journalists after offering condolences over the death of party leader Maulana Azam Jahangiri, he said that the bill passed in the Punjab Assembly in the name of women’s rights was in conflict with the Shariah.
He said that the bill had made the man insecure in his own house. “The bill reflects the slave mentality. Now I have come to know why Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is Khadam-e-Aala?( subservient to his spouse on some matters?). The reason is that he is Khadam-e-Aala at his house,” he said.
On Wednesday, the historic bill was finally passed by the Punjab Assembly with comprehensive protection to women against a range of crimes including abatement of an offence, domestic, emotional, psychological and economic abuse, stalking and cyber crime. The bill was approved by the provincial cabinet in May 2015 and could not be passed by the assembly because of in-house objections by some lawmakers.

NEW YORK (Web Desk) – Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says a road map has been prepared to train ten thousand PhDs in science and technology and engineering sectors, reports Radio Pakistan on Saturday.
The minister said Pakistan is also holding talks with Washington to train these PhDs in the next ten years in US universities. This will help Pakistan meet its faculty requirements in higher education, he said this while peaking at a function in Washington.

ISLAMABAD: A staggering 24 million Pakistani children are out of school, a new government report showed, laying bare the state of education in a country where around a quarter of the population is believed to be under 16.
Of the 50.8 million children aged five to 16 in the country, 47 per cent do not receive an education, according to the annual Pakistan Education Statistics report for 2014-2015, a rare example in Pakistan of a government document exposing a stark reality.
The world apparently takes a dim view of Mohammadden religion based Terrorism and countries that adhere to Mohammaddenism have been ignominiously relegated to the bottom 6 positions of Henley and Partners 2016 edition of the Visa Restrictions Index.
The world has also latched on to the fact that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is one of the principal purveyors of Mohammadden religion based terrorism and consequently the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is the near bottom of the pile coming in at 103 out of 104 just beating out Afghanistan for last place. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan even gets beaten by former compatriots, Bangladesh, who come in at 96. India off course is ahead of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at 85:
Besides the Visa Restrictions Index mentioned above, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan also takes a battering on the Transformation Index aka BTI 2016 prepared by Bertelsmann Stiftung.
The Status Index rating of the BTI 2016 ranks the129 developing countries according to their quality of democracy and market economy as of January 31, 2015. Here the Islamic Republic of Pakistan ranks a poor 106 out of 129 getting beaten out yet again by former compatriots Bangladesh who rank 70. India is off course a long way ahead of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at 28 :

When Mohammadden religion driven practises cloister away women in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, it is inevitable that deviant paedophilic homosexual rape crops up:
This deviant behaviour is no one off event in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Similar incidents of paedophilic homosexual rape have been reported over the past couple of years or so. Indeed I suspect that the incidents of this nature, by standards of prevalence of deviant behaviour, are quite widespread in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

Actually Jinnah's TNt is proving true on global scale.Whole world now accept and realize the reality of 2 different nations.
THERE IS NO DOUBT that the civil nuclear deal recently signed by Australia and India, for the purpose of exporting uranium, has raised various important questions regarding the use of Australian uranium in India.Despite these questions being asked, various government officials have reassured the international and domestic community that the deal will build on the bilateral relationship between the two nations, through economic and strategic means.Yet, it is quite clear that there are various risks involved on Australia’s part, which in turn, can significantly hamper their geopolitical reputation and affect their bilateral relationships with other nations — potentially leading to instability in South Asia. The blame, in this case, falls on the Australian Government, who went against the wishes of its joint committee to carry on with the agreement – and ignored existing loopholes in the safeguards – that may provide the opportunity for nuclear proliferation without India having to nullify the agreement or face repercussions.Furthermore, it is very likely that Australian uranium will also enable India to free up their existing stockpiles, so as to use them for their nuclear weapons program, as stated by the Australian Conservation Fundation's David Sweeney in the past. This is now truer than ever, as Pakistan is on course to possessing the third-largest nuclear stockpile in the world (behind the U.S. and Russia).
After all, it is well known that South Asia as a region has been heavily rocked by instability and insecurity. India and Pakistan have gone to war four times, and have also had several small-scale standoffs since the partition in 1947. Despite India’s economic rise and growing impact on global affairs today, it is still wary of several internal threats and of Pakistan — as often represented in its foreign policy. There is also always the possibility of militants slipping across the border from Pakistan and Afghanistan.Additionally, there is the risk of Pakistan’s nuclear arms falling into the hands of militants, or the aggressive foreign policies of both nations resulting in another war with the potential of going nuclear. The civil nuclear deal can lead to Australia to further fuelling these tensions in the region, which can force Pakistan to retaliate in protest and significantly hurt the steps India and Pakistan have taken in recent months towards reigniting talks. Moreover, this can result in an imbalance across the wider region, which is likely to displease China — Australia’s largest trading partner and ally in the Asia-Pacific. China, which has also invested significant sums of money into Australian mining companies, may be led to believe that Australia is taking a stance against China and its Randi Pakistan, with the U.S. and India. It is vital that Australia rethinks the impact of exporting uranium to India while maintaining its strong bilateral relations with the country. The Government must also come to realise how this deal can affect the current dynamics of South Asia, the wider Indo-Pacific region and the perception of Australia across the global community. Regional instability in an already

A inadvertently idiotic write-up. On the one hand Mr. Hashmi says Pakistan is set to become the third biggest nuclear power in the world (yes, you read that right). If that is so, how will Australia providing uranium to India create an imbalance? When spreading semi-literate falshoods, Mr. Hashmi needs to at the very least get them logically consistent. Of course, it is entirely another matter how a country that can barely produce it's own school textbooks will become the third largest nuclear weapons state in the world. Perhaps this is what Australia needs to ask Pakistan and China - the two largest proliferators of nuclear weapons technology in the world.
I was reading the Austarlian Defence White Paper for 2016 and the following caught my eye
Pakistan’s potential to influence security dynamics in the Middle East, Central and South Asia, and its proximity to key Indo-Pacific sea
lines of communication engages our interest in a stable Indo-Pacific region and a rules-based global order. Australia has a long-standing
defence relationship with Pakistan focused largely on capacity building, enhancing professionalism and strategic dialogue. We will continue to expand our engagement on building Pakistan’s counter-terrorism capacity, including expanding collaboration on countering Improvised Explosive Devices.
Caroe's formulations continue to rule the thinking of the US and its close ally, Australia.
A cascade of falsehoods, misrepresentation, and assorted mendacity is flowing from the Obama administration as it announced its determination to push forward with the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan amid mounting objection from US lawmakers.
Secretary of State John Kerry led the defence of what many experts see as a Faustian gambit, as he argued that the fighter jets "have been a critical part of the Pakistani fight against the terrorists in the western part of that country, and have been effective in that fight.'' The assertion went against every known fact highlighted by many experts, including some Pakistani analysts who concede that the F-16s are irrelevant in the fight against terrorism and are mainly meant for use against India; and that where they have been used, it is against Baloch nationalists and other irredentists in Pakistanis, not against terrorists nurtured by the Pakistani establishment.
We don't want to do things that upset the balance," Kerry said in reference to concerns from India that were underscored by some lawmakers.
A rare and unprecedented incident took place in the city of Lahore recently when a young Sepoy from Pakistan Army Punjab Regiment, presented himself as a Captain of the Pakistani Armed Forces and delivered a lecture on character building and the current situation of Pakistan
This lecture was organized by the Character Building Club (CBC) at FC College Lahore, a well-known private university of Lahore.
The weird incident took place on February 17th which included a lecture on the topic “The Current Situation of Pakistan” and also aimed to collect funds for the IDPs of FATA and other areas where Pakistan Army is conducting military operations.

ISLAMABAD - A C-130 aircraft will be operating from Lahore to Qatar today (Sunday) to deliver a bull and a cow (Sahiwal breed) as a gift from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the Emir of Qatar.
According to sources, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) (why is this debt ridden institution being saddled with this, when it has nothing to do with this ) will bear all the expenditures.
The aircraft will return to Pakistan on 29th of February.

KARACHI - Malir police yesterday registered a case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain on the complaint of a woman for allegedly talking about sex to a group of male and female party workers.
Altaf Hussain had been filmed explaining intercourse to the workers in Karachi via phone from London, according to the police.
A woman who saw the footage online of the alleged talk alerted the police.
“We have registered a case against Altaf Hussain and 20 of his party colleagues under the charges of publicly uttering immodest words after a woman, Nasreen, filed an application against them,” Malir SSP Rao Anwar said.
In a statement to the authorities, Nasreen wrote she was browsing the internet when she came across the clip of Hussain, addressing a mixed group of workers.
He was publicly telling the women about the sexual contact between male and female and his party workers were also repeating his words. It seemed he was intoxicated,” she said.
Anwar said other MQM leaders, including members of the parliament and the party’s candidate for Karachi mayor, were facing investigation over allegations such as organising the meeting and repeating Hussain’s words. But a spokesman for MQM hit back, saying the investigation was unconstitutional.
“MQM is a law-abiding party which believes in peaceful struggle and these kinds of cases are against the Constitution.
We will face it in the court,” said Amin-ul-Haq also named in the case.
The MQM which is run by Altaf Hussain from London is the main political party in Karachi, a city of 20 million people. It represents an ethnic migrant community and is the fourth largest party in the lower house of the parliament with 23 members.
But it has long been blamed for ethnic violence in Karachi and has clashed repeatedly with the authorities.
Going by the above it seems that the Pakjabi authorities are sparing no effort to vilify Altaf Bhai and his party; want to get him by hook or by crook !

Several alleged militants were arrested after the attack for which India blamed JeM.
India has also provided leads with phone numbers which have been included in the FIR.

Your listing are all Kasuri's wet dreams. MMS did not agree for anything joint with the Paki, no joint control, no joint anything else. Free movement only applied to state subjects, not to all Pakis.
What MMS agreed to was following:
1. Borders will not be redrawn.
2. Loc will become IB but allow free movement to state (J&k) subjects.
Kasuri also said that Indian government had agreed to unilaterally dismantle all nukes, pay Pakistan $50 billion a year for the next 100 years, give up the north east and all territories south of the vindhyas to make India less scary for Pakis. India also agreed to waive all visas for Pakistanis and allow upto 50 terror attacks per year or 10,000 terror casualties, whichever was higher. India agreed to transfer its space program to Pakistan, and agreed to carry upto 5 hours per day of Pakistan TV programming in every channel. India furthermore agreed to take upto 60% of players in IPL in Pakistan. Support for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s cricket team by Bangladesh citizens during the match against India at Mirpur causes exiled Bangladeshi author Ms. Tasleema Nasreen to tweet "Bangladesh supporting Pakistan is like a rape victim supporting her rapist."
Tasleema Nasreen is also reported by DNA as saying “For those who are supporting Pakistan for 'non- sporting' reasons, Taslima asked why they are not supporting the country that helped Bangladesh get independence in 1971.”.
Presumably the “non- sporting reasons” being alluded to by Ms. Nasreen is the shared adherence of the majorities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Bangladesh to Mohammaddenism while India which helped liberate Bangladesh from the rapacious and genocidal Punjabi dominated Military of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has a Non-Mohammadden majority. With foregoing kind of religion based acceptance of persecution as long as it is at the hands of fellow Mohammadden, is it any surprise that the world is awash with cases of Green on Green Intra-Mohammadden slaughter in places like Nigeria, Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan etc. etc.?
