The frequency of occurrence of incidents of Mohammaddens suicide bombing other Mohammaddens, at locations significant to Mohammaddens, on days significant to Mohammaddens while shouting slogans significant to Mohammadden; is to say the least most peculiar.

The leader of a notorious Muslim grooming gang who preyed on girls as young as 13, has lost a bid to have his convictions overturned after arguing the jury was part of a vast anti-Muslim conspiracy.
Shabir Ahmed, 63, is currently serving 22 years for preying on vulnerable teenagers on the street of Rochdale, plying them with alcohol and drugs, as well as for 30 child rapes on a young Asian girl he treated as a “possession” for more than a decade.

However, Mr. Ahmed appealed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), claiming that his all-white jury was biased and passed information to far-right groups – a breach of Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights which guarantees a fair trial.

He argued that because former British National Party (BNP) chief Nick Griffin posted that some defendants had been found guilty at the Liverpool Crown Court trial before verdicts had been returned, the jury could not have been impartial.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the divorced father of four also argued that the case against him had been “tailored by police to fit anti-Muslim prejudice”, putting it in breach of Article 3 of the convention which prohibits inhuman and degrading treatment.

He further claimed media coverage of the trial had breached Article 8 – his right to a private and family life – while there had also been a breach of Article 14 as he claimed he had suffered racial and religious discrimination.

However, the court promptly threw out his “wide range of other complaints” insisting that “none of the evidence before [the ECHR] demonstrated that there was substance to these claims”.

Rejecting the legal bid, the ECHR said: “If it had been proven that a juror had passed confidential information on the jury deliberations to far-right organisations, this would suggest that the juror and the jury as a whole had lacked impartiality.

“However, there was simply no proof that that had happened. There was no evidence to establish that [the jury] had been impartial.”

The case is likely to reignite a discussion about the abuse of human rights laws, which the Conservative government promised to abolish in its manifesto.

The Pakistani-born Mr. Ahmed had previously escaped being deported after arguing that to do so would breach his “human rights”.

This is a very good analytical article that I would classify as "before its time". I am personally in 100% agreement with your psychological assessment of the Islamic indoctrinated Paki mind - but the rest of India and the world have to catch up because mental secularism can kick in and block thoughts before the truth in your article can sink in

There are however 2 typos. One is where ou have typed Obama instead of Osama. The other is "Uri never happened". I think you mean "Surgical Strike never happened"

Arundhati Roy wrote a lot of letters to the National Security Council (India), complaining about the treatment of arrested terrorist being held in National Correctional System facilities. She demanded a response to her letter correspondence.

Ahmed will not wish to interact with you or your daughters (except sexually) since he views females as a sub human form of property thereby having no rights, including refusal of his sexual demands. Was struck by the headlines in today’s print edition of DNA which reported separate and unrelated deaths of teenagers under the overarching headline of “No Country For Children”.

While both deaths are fit examples for our Justice system to go after the parents for criminal negligence of not ensuring their children were not indulging in dangerous activities that led to their demise, the contrast between the stories could not be starker.

The 13 year old Jain Girl from Hyderabad, Aradhana, indulged in an activity out of love for her family in a manner that did not contribute to physical harm to anyone else. The Mohammadden boy from Srinagar, Junaid Akhoon, on the other hand involved himself in a violent riotous activity in support of a Mohammadden Terrorist and perished in a Police operation to restore law and order:

Muslim father rapes his daughter as punishment because she had become 'too Westernised' living in Norway

A Muslim man in Norway has been detained for raping his daughter as a punishment after she became 'too Western'. The man, in his 40s has been charged with rape and incest after he attacked his daughter in their family home in the city of Fredrikstad.

Police prosecutors have said the daughter told officers she was raped by her father as a punishment for living a Western lifestyle. Both the father and daughter are of a non-European background.

Police lawyer Anette Sogn told Fredrikstad24: 'They had been arguing prior to the rape. 'The father has been angry because his daughter did not follow his (Islamic) way of life, she explained in questioning.' Following the attack, the daughter, who is in her 20s, ran out of the house and told a passing postman what had happened, who then went to the police.

The father has reportedly claimed that he does not understand why he has been charged with the crimes and said he was shocked by police DNA results.

The man has acknowledged that he sat on the victim’s bed, and tried to explain the police DNA findings with indirect contact.
If convicted, the man is likely to face a tough punishment in the courts, due to the gravity of the attack upon the victim in her own home.

The victim is receiving psychiatric help following the ordeal.

There is thus to my recollection no case of say a Mahayana Buddhist suicide bombing a Hinayana Buddhist place of worship, no case of say a Catholic Christist suicide bombing a Protest Christist place of worship, no case of say a Vasihnavite Hindu suicide bombing a Shaivite Hindu place of worship, no case of say a Shwetambar Jain suicide bombing a Digambar Jain place of worship and no case of say a Reform Jew suicide bombing a Hasidic Jew place of worship. On the other hand the Kabul Shrine and Balkh Mosque suicide bombing, linked above, is hardly the first or second case of a Mohammadden place of worship suicide bombed by another Mohammadden for sectarian based differences in interpretation of Mohammaddenism. In Mohammaddenism it thus appears prohibition against perpetrating acts of violence targeting places of worship is only a fraction of what it is in Christism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Judaism.

Can we blame the West for thinking of Muslims as they do?

In recent times, religiously motivated terrorism incidents have taken place in the West, from Brussels to New York. Due to these barbaric acts perpetuated by extremists, ordinary Muslims are also facing excessive backlash in Europe as well as in the United States.

We, as Muslims, are correct to complain that it is unfair to bracket ordinary Muslims with the extremists, but at the same time we need to understand that our negative reputation is not merely due to organisations like ISIS but also because of our behaviour in general. I am not trying to equate extremist organisations like ISIS with normal and moderate Muslims here, but highlighting that there are issues (though of different sort) with the latter also.

We have to realise that the world is judging our religion and us, not by what is contained in the religious scripture but by the way we behave in all matters concerning religion. I am not justifying outright xenophobia and racism here, but indicating that we also share the responsibility of our bad reputation in the world due to our actions. There are problems in many areas and being defensive and in denial is not going to help us.

For example, it is true that moderate Muslims are not involved in terrorism. But at the same time, I have seen many of us either attribute terrorism to nonsensical conspiracy theories or come up with apologetic defences where terrorism is nothing but a ‘natural’ reaction. When many of us do that then we should not expect the world to consider Islam as a religion of peace, because it simply won’t. It is hard to imagine the world doing so when some of the so called ‘moderate’ Muslims fail to condemn extremist acts, give apologetic defences to terrorism or weave nonsensical conspiracy theories to shift the blame. This kind of behaviour is deeply problematic as it hinders introspection, gives the extremists soft support and allows them to thrive.

I have also witnessed some that cheer those who have killed others in the name of blasphemy. It is also true that many Muslims also support state-sanctioned harsh punishments for people accused of blasphemy as well as apostasy. In fact, several Muslim countries have harsh laws outlawing both. Often our rationale is that blasphemy is deeply offensive and apostasy is a sin, therefore State sanctioned capital punishment or even murder is justified.

Since we find blasphemy deeply offensive, we should remember that real blasphemy, with respect to our prophet Muhammad (pbuh), is caused by those who kill in his name and also by those who celebrate such killings. If blasphemy means disrespect to the name of the Prophet (pbuh) then we should use our common sense and understand that harsh punishments and violence in his name are actually maligning his name.

Likewise, many of us react violently whenever our religious ideals and symbols are satirised. What we do not realise, however, is that the West is no longer trapped in medieval times and has moved forward. It is common in their culture to criticise as well as satirise religion and they often extend the same sentiments towards their own religion as well. This is why reacting violently to cartoons is not going to be acceptable to them as they rightly perceive it as a threat to their freedom of expression.

The more we react violently, endorse violence or allow excessive reactions in such cases, the more the world will judge Islam negatively. The more we threaten free speech, the more the media will indulge in such speech in order to protect its rights and freedom.

Another huge – and perhaps one of the biggest issues – is the treatment of women. No matter what spin I give, the fact is that in most Muslim countries women are treated as second-class citizens. In the Gender Gap Index, which ranks countries with respect to gender parity, Muslim countries are right at the bottom. Out of 142 countries which were ranked in 2014, 27 Muslim countries were placed from 90 to 142 and these included so called “liberal” countries like Turkey (127) and Indonesia (97).

The assertion by Reza Aslan that in Indonesia and Turkey, women have full rights becomes laughable when subjected to empirical evaluation. There is only one Muslim country in the top 50, which is Kazakhstan and I am sure this is because of its communist legacy! And yes, my own country Pakistan ranks at a shameful 141 with only Yemen, another Islamic country, below it. Moreover, the legal code in many Muslim countries is pitted against women and supportive of the patriarchal structure. Why should we expect the world to consider Islam an equitable religion in the light of all the above facts?

Another issue is the condition of minorities. The US Commission on International Religious Freedom, in its latest report, highlighted 27 countries for particularly vicious treatment of religious minorities of which 11 are strong Muslim-majority states. If minorities living in Muslim majority countries often live in fear and if the advent of democracy in Muslim countries, like Egypt, ended up actually endangering the lives and properties of non-Muslims, then we should not expect the world to consider Islam a tolerant religion. Eventually the benchmark of tolerance is the way minorities are treated.

Now we can try to deflect the realities and find excuses and call those Muslims who point out our problems ‘sell-outs’ or ‘panderers of the West’ but will it change the situation? Eventually we have to indulge in deep and honest introspection, and understand that there is some basis behind the global negative opinion about us. Being in denial and constantly complaining about xenophobia is not going to take us anywhere. Yes, no doubt xenophobia exists, but our own actions also need correction. That is why we need to introspect.

5 Shias killed as gunmen target gathering in Karachi

At least five persons were killed and many others injured after two unidentified miscreants targeted mourners gathered in Nazimabad area in connection with month of Muharram on Saturday. The death toll is feared to go up as at least two people are critically injured.

The gun attack took place in a residential area near a police station in Nazimabad No 4 area of the city. A Rangers station is located merely half a kilometer from the attack site. According to an eyewitness, two gunmen wearing helmets opened fire on the male section of the majlis at 5:45 and escaped.
