Israel support to anti assad units which in golan heights consists of a mix of nusra and those who threw in their lot with isis is not even a secret. It out in open and naked no sharm sharm about it.

Israeli Intel Chief: We Don’t Want ISIS Defeated In Syria
ShareTweetPinMail
In a speech at the Herzliya Conference, Israel’s military intelligence chief, Major General Herzi Halevy, took Israel’s long-standing position that it “prefers ISIS” over the Syrian government to a whole ‘nother level, declaring openly that Israel does not want to see ISIS defeated in the war.

Quoted in the Hebrew-language NRG site, linked to Maariv, Maj. Gen. Halevy expressed concern about the recent offensives against ISIS territory, saying that in the last three months the Islamist group was facing the “most difficult” situation since its inception and declaration of a caliphate.

Israeli officials have regularly expressed comfort with the idea of ISIS conquering the whole of Syria, saying they find it preferable to the Iran-allied government surviving the war. At the same time, they were never so overtly supportive of ISIS and its survival.

Halevy went on to express concern that the defeat of ISIS might mean the “superpowers” leaving Syria, saying this would put Israel “in a hard position” after being so opposed to the survival of the Syrian government.

He then said Israel will do “all we can so as to not find ourselves in such a situation,” suggesting that the Israeli military is looking at direct support for ISIS as a matter of policy, and not just rhetoric.

Russian and Christian Syrians contributed to the rescue of several families of civilians from east Aleppo. The rats had set up positions around the main exits to kill any civilians attempting to leave. The rescuers worked out a plan that involved a Chritsian Syrian talking to the family over mobile phone, guiding them from safe point to safe point during the night.

The Kuweries airbase, liberated after an epic 3 year siege, is now operational.

Russian Mig-31 high altitude Mach 3 intereptors are flying out of the base. It is protected by Pantsir S1 systems. The S-400 systems provide long range coverage from west.

https://z5h64q92x9.net/proxy_u/ru-en.en ... 67878.html

Soon, there will be movement to the T-4 airbase near Palmyra.

Kuweires air defenses and fighter jets are clearly to face both turkish air farce and any coalition of the killing planes, the radars installed are covering most of the North of Syria. When the MIG31 gets operational, it will be the interceptor to face the F16s from Turkey and US.

Any fellow with iota of common sense will support the Shia Sunni war to go on forever in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere. That doesnt mean Israel supports ISIS.

Israel is only supporting ISIS as much as Russia.

I disagree. This is a transparently duplicitous justification.

Israel will face it's own consequences for this. And will receive no sympathy when their support for Sunni Jihadis blows up in their face.

And most Jews in the US political establishment have been beating the anti-russian war drums for years now. They genuinely want the Sunni Jihadis to come to power in Syria and Iraq.

Yeah, we know how Uncle Sam and evil jews are supporting ISIS. For a short time Erdogan was supporting ISIS too, particularly after Su-24 shootdown, but then he massaged Putin`s balls and poof, he isnt supporting anymore.

Here the western blokes think Russia is helping ISIS too.

Straw man arguments are easy to construct and beat down. From what I see objectively in ME: the entire Sunni block (turkey, Arab sunnis, Saudi and allied gulf regimes), USA, and Israel all want the same thing....to foist fake "moderate" rebels who if they win will launch an ethnic cleansing of minorities and consolidate a homogeneous Sunni Arab block in Syria and Iraq to act as a spearhead against Iran.

US and Israel need to create a sunni jihadi block to take on Iran ?! Really?!

What about Hamas. And support to it from turkey.
Are the Israelis stupid to create a big powerful homogenous sunni block at their border rather than keep the Sunnis and Shias at each others throats and live in peace?

Namaste B.S.ji:

After reading the statement from the Hon. Tulsi Gabbard, combat veteran with Iraq experience (see elsewhere on today's BRF posts or Google Tulsi Gabbard Trump), I am convinced that the Russians have been telling the truth on Syria, and the Govt and media of the US or A, sad to say, have been exposed as damned liars. She makes it very clear that Assad is not the enemy, those trying to oust Assad are the enemy.

And the reports of Israelis firing at the poor Syrian Army soldiers while they were also being attacked by ISIS, are old and now make perfect sense.
Sorry if all this seems to induce cognitive dissonance: the Israelis supporting the ISIS!!! But when OIL is involved, truth, human decency and common sense are the first casualties. To quote & paraphrase Leon Uris from EXODUS:
Only the Kingdom of Heaven runs on Truth. All the Kingdoms of the Earth run on oil. The (Syrians) have OIL, and we want to grab it and will gladly do business with all the Satans to get a few dollars more.
I hope I don't live to see the day when Karma visits the people of Israel to repay them for their support of ISIS and Saudi Arabia.

KSA+GCC is no threat to israel despite their shiny western toys loaded with kill switches and spare parts tail. and their competence is on full display in Yemen if anyone needed validation. they can bomb hapless civilians from their air and thats it. saudis are having a hard time defending their own south front from under armed houthis let alone mess with the IDF and its massive firepower + US backing of unlimited spares, consumables and kill-switch activation on GCC gear.

Iran on the other hand is far more competent and not dependent much on western weapons. it also has a secure land and water connection to CAR states and Russia which american cannot reach into and blocade. their human resources are good as evidenced by success of their students in international contests and academics abroad. they also have the population reserve that GCC does not.

and they are not a western cats paw. they have successfully managed events in Iraq such that Baghdad is closely aligned with Teheran on many fronts despite being dependent on US aid.

long term, only state which can stand up to Israel in the region is Iran. Egypt has the population but not the economy or weapons. Turkey has population, weapons and economy hence Israel had made nice with it, despite some turkish help to Hamas.

strength recognizes strength.

KSA must be assured israel that a ISIS caliphate would wipe out the last vestiges of a defeated Hezbollah in lebanon and rump syria and maintain rather good ties with Israel. KSA itself is ample proof that the most extremist ideology can coexist pissfully with the beacons of democracy and human rights like NATO . KSA is the chair man of some UN human rights commission too.

I have never seen a anti-Yahudi propaganda by ISIS - its always the western kuffar or the 'rafidhi' miskeen shias/yezidis/assyrians.

i believe they will bottle up Tal afar for now and instead wheel back to clean up the pockets of daesh between there and Mosul along the highway first. this will tighten the western perimeter of Mosul and link up with Iraqi army advancing directly into south mosul via the city's airport

Tal afar can be cleaned up at leisure later

all the hills have O/P keeping a hawk eye on escaping daesh units via telescopes and radios.

comment seen in al masdar news:

Daeshbags Sux
Could be much more interesting to create the kinda air-battalion I always described using a good hundred COIN propeller aircrafts and getting 20-30 medium cargos like An-12, An-26 or their Chinese copies preferably on 2nd hand market and making them gunships, AC-130 Spectre style.
Propellers have a serious advantage over jets and even gunship-choppers when it comes to both cost and loitering times so nonetheless, you can buy much more of them but you are also a permanent air support capability to create practical huge no-drive-zones at low cost thus totally disrupting enemies’ operations while the boots clean large areas on the ground.

Pentagon Caught Paying PR Firm $540 Million to Make Fake Terrorist Videos

According to a new joint investigation by the Sunday Times and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, the Pentagon paid a PR firm based in the U.K. over half a billion dollars to make fake terrorist videos in Iraq as part of an enormous propaganda campaign.

PR firm Bell Pottinger (same company that acts as PR firm for several pakistani politicians) fabricated short TV segments designed to imitate Arabic news networks and “fake insurgent videos which could be used to track the people who watched them, according to a former employee,” reports the Bureau.

its amazing after all these years there are still rebel controlled enclaves on the outskirts of Damascus city from where they launch mortars into central damascus like on the russian embassy. yarmouk camp is one, there are others. shows the rebel strategy of holding citizens hostage and daring the Govt to attack over civilian bodies really worked and the Govt backed off, letting these bandits control the enclaves for years and get fed by UN and avail of all govt run services.

aleppo is just the largest and most prominent one.

these are nothing but open air prisons run by the rebels. weapons were probably smuggled in via aid shipments which Govt could not inspect.

on Govt pasand side Fuah and Kafraya could easily be crushed by the Idlib jihadis but perhaps due to UN oversight and optics, they contend themselves with starving the towns to extent possible and periodic mortaring.

northern edge of yarmouk camp seems to be only 3 km from the epicenter of damascus  and even the M5 Damascus - Homs highway is closed due to fire control from some jihadi enclaves which are only now being shut down one by one. no wonder assad keeps 1 repub division in damascus itself to protect his keep.

this vegetation map of syria makes it clear the homs-hama-jisralshugour-latakia-tartus is the real green area of syria. it contains the famous al ghab irrigated plain also, an ancient marsh drained for farming perhaps.

al safirah plains east of aleppo looks suited for farming

damascus is like a oasis in desert...the edge of a very large desert area going into iraq . the green area east of damascus and the M5 highway is the famous Ghouta enclave which is now sliced into parts by SAA and in process of being taken over. from damascus down to jordan border are hilly areas incl golan heights ... NW of damascus is the bekaa valley in lebanon.

rest of syria is dry to bone dry

http://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/1.735130
ISIS in Egypt Says Israel Will Soon 'Pay Heavy Price'.
I think you have a problem of seeing what you want to see.
No point wasting time. The feeling is mutual.

There is a long list of propaganda articles on the net.
From Baghdadi is a Mossad agent. Here - http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?p=126730
Entire ISIS is a jewish plot. Here - http://www.breitbart.com/national-secur ... t-attacks/
And of course
9/11 is a jewish conspiracy too.

ISIS ideologically goes by strict interpretation of the book. To the point of beheading, enslaving etc. As to what the Prophet said about jews and the wars he waged against jews, it is difficult to imagine any friendly intentions that ISIS could have towards the jews. In fact a major part of Iran`s animosity towards Israel is also derived from the same historical/theological lagacy of the prophet.

I ve seen quite a few Roos lovers propound the CIA/Jewish conspiracy theory regarding 9/11 attacks as well. So i do understand where the `Israel is supporting ISIS` coming from.
The orthodox christianity, sinic civilization and islamic civilization now agree at least on the `conspiracy theory` level. With Turkey wanting to join Shanghai 5 etc, imho gradually Huntington`s clash of civilizations divide will be a reality, if a little patchy though.

Some distance to go before, some Roos lovers accept that RAW and hindu support is behind bomb blasts in Lahore and support to Tehrik a Taliban.

singha - re rebel enclaves; the picture is more murky. the traditional sunni vs alewi contest is the real root of the explanation for the patchwork on the ground. the alewis and their allies are outnumbered, have always been so but have held power since the 1920's for this stint (apart from other historical stints)

City sunnis are with the Alawis. The problem with rural sunnis is that they suffered heavily during drought years and that opening was fully exploited by the then US ambassador to Syria one Robert Ford and his 'wars for Israel' acolytes. During the period of long drought following 2005, the rural sunnis also got radicalized via Saudi influence which was also conveniently made available to them at same time.

So i rewinded a little to the first version of this thread.
To the time between November 24th to 26th last year. And how the posters, including yours truly, were predicting Russian backlash to Turkey shooting down the SU-24.
"Turkey`s goose is cooked. Erdogan has chewed more than he can swallow. Retribution will be swift. No turkish plane could henceforth enter Syria etc etc."

A year down the line Erdogan is laughing rather hard.
