Shrine custodian kills 19 devotees in Sargodha

SARGODHA: A custodian of a Shrine and his associates killed 19 people, including four women on early Sunday morning in Sargodha.

According to Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Liaquat Ali Chatta the custodian, Abdul Waheed, believed to be suffering from serious mental health issues killed the people from machetes and sticks after intoxicating them at the shrine of Ali Ahmed Gujjar.

The deceased hail from different areas of Punjab.

Police have arrested Abdul Waheed along with his seven close associates and shifted them to an undisclosed location. The authorities suspect that Waheed and his accomplices mercilessly killed the intoxicated victims after stripping them.

According to Geo News; three people, including two women, are critically injured. The wounded are shifted in Intensive Care Unit of GHQ Hospital.

Are Pakistanis using 'mental illness' excuse like the 'short-circuit in air vacuum' one? Any killing inside a shrine is the handiwork of LeJ. Period.

Haj subsidy is albatross around our neck, say Muslim leaders - Mohammed Wajihuddin

The Quran clearly commands that Haj is obligatory on those who can afford the expense. So it always rankled many Muslims that India's government subsidized their most important of pilgrimages, to Mecca. Now that newly-elected UP's Waqf and Haj minister Mohsin Raza has spoken against the "misuse" of Haj subsidy+ (earlier union minister for minority affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi called it a blot on Muslims), the issue of Haj subsidy is back in the spotlight. Most Muslims wants to do away with the subsidy which the sangh parivar has called it a "tool of minority appeasement." Well this the Legacy from our Late PM J L Nehru. The Saudis protested at this practice as well as the Celebrating the "Birthday of the Prophet of the Religion of Peace". Nehru disregarded it. In addition Nehru appointed and continued "forever" of the Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia to be always a Muslim.

In 2016 the government gave nearly Rs 405 crore subsidy for one lakh pilgrims who travelled to Mecca through the Haj Committee of India. This year, after the restoration of the country's Haj quota cut by 20% by the Saudi authorities in the last couple of years, the total Indian Haj quota is 1.70 lakh (1.25 lakh through Haj Committee while 45000 through Private Tour Operators) but the Haj subsidy is bound to reduce. Why? The government is complying with the Supreme Court's 2012 order directing the government to abolish Haj subsidy over a period of 10 years.

"The subsidy amount goes to the airfare for Haj pilgrims which is much higher than the normal airfare for a return journey to Jeddah from India. Subsidy is an albatross around Muslims' neck and must end ," says Yusuf Ahmed Kherada of Al Khalid Tours and Travels. "Get a global tender for Haj travel and the airfare will reduce."

A five-member committee, headed by secretary of Parliamentary Affairs Afazl Amanullah, is looking into whether subsidies have benefits and if pilgrims can travel paying less if there is no subsidy at all. "It is true the Supreme Court wants subsidy to end by 2022 and we are taking a wider perspective of the Haj policy," says Kamal Farooque, a member of the panel.

Raza, many allege, was ill-informed about Haj when he said: "We will only let deserving persons who don't have means to go on their own, to go. If a person is a multi-millionaire he should not make the pilgrimage on government money." "Haj is not for those who can't afford it and multi-millionaires make the pilgrimage through Private Tour Operators where the journey is not subsidized," explains senior Shia scholar Maulana Zaheer Abbas Rizvi. "We don't want Haj subsidy. Let the government end it as per the Supreme Court (2012) order but politicians should not mislead the public."

Continuing something Allah didn't command for Muslims is anachronistic and the community Muslims
justifiably don't want it.

Pakistan's " Last Jew " Controversy .

https://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/pakista ... s-brother/
Often referred to as Pakistan’s last surviving Jew, 29-year-old activist, Fishel Benkhald originally registered as a Muslim, was recently allowed by the interior ministry to change his religion from Islam to Judaism, an unusual move by authorities in the Muslim-majority country. The news made rounds around the world. The mainstream media picked up the news and declared the man as the last Jew of Pakistan. Endangered species :D
Fischel – born Faisal Benkhald – said that he was born in Karachi to a Jewish mother and Muslim father, the fourth of five children. Fischel claimed he grew up reciting blessings over Shabbat candles, cooking the unleavened...
However, Mohammad Iqbal, who claims to be Fischel’s brother and lives in Saudi Arabia, reached out to Daily Pakistan and requested us to run his statements regarding his brother’s claims that his mother was a Jew.“I’m his elder brother working in Saudi Arabia, would like to let you know that he is 100% lying, “Alhamdulillah” our parents both (Mother and Father) were Muslims and they together performed Hajj before their death. Our father Mr Mohammad Khalid Pervez and our Mother Ms Naseem Akhter lived in KSA for almost more than 10 years,” Iqbal said in his email to Daily Pakistan. So, one brother claims mother is jewish , while the other one says that she lived in Saudia ( which does not allow Jews there  )
“My mother’s father was a Rajput Punjabi and her mother was a Syed Muslim, she never migrated from Iran like Faisal says. Can he [Faisal] explain how Saudi Government allows a Jewish woman to performed Haj or letting her go into Makkah or Medina Mosques?” War via media being waged ? are these two even brothers ; a publicity st/unt
In an emotionally charged phone call with Daily Pakistan, Iqbal says, “Faisal himself offered our mother’s namaz-e-janaza (muslim funeral prayer) how can he claim that she was a jew? This is extremely disturbing for me and my whole family.”We have sent a message to Fischel for his words on his brother’s claims, he hasn’t responded to our queries yet. However, we will update the story as soon as he answers our questions. Seems like a "manufactured publicity stunt " by Paki newspapers :D

Afghanistan Does Not Recognize Durand Line - Afghan Senate

Senate Strikes Back At Pedram Over Durand Line Remarks
Members of Meshrano Jirga (senate) on Sunday said that the Durand Line was an imaginary line and recognizing it as an international border will not be acceptable to the people of Afghanistan. The senate’s retaliation comes a day after Abdul Latif Pedram, the leader of the National Congress Party (NCP) said his party recognizes the Durand Line between Afghanistan and Pakistan as an official border and that most of the tension between the two countries is rooted in Kabul’s failure to publicly acknowledge this.

Pakistani Newspaper : Durand Line Is An International Border.

Durand Line is an internationally recognised border: Afghan MP
The Express Tribune
ISLAMABAD:
The Durand Line is an internationally recognised border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, said a member of the Afghan parliament on Sunday. The comments, made by Abdul Latif Pedram – head of Hezb-e-Kongara Milli Afghanistan [Afghanistan National Congress Party] – has initiated a heated debate in Afghanistan and on social media. He is also a member of Wolesi Jirga [lower house of parliament] from the norther Badakhshan province. While addressing a news conference in Kabul, Pedram, an ethnic Tajik, said his party recognised the border. First he is Tajik, secondly his views don't represent the Afghan Govt !
Pedram’s statement came days after Afghan Chief Executive Dr Abdullah Abdullah reportedly said that the Durand Line is no more an “imaginary line” but is an internationally recognised border following a meeting with a Pakistani delegation in Kabul during Nuruz celebrations.
diplomatic language interpreted otherwise !
During his tenure, former president Hamid Karzai asserted that no Afghan government had recognised the Durand Line, nor would his government budge under the Pakistani pressure to do so.
Marc Grossman, US former special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan, along with other US officials have previously said the US regarded Durand Line as an internationally-accepted boundary.Grossman’s comments were also endorsed by the US State Department’s spokesperson upon requests from journalists to confirm. The US is not "emotionally involved " in this issue !

Mohammadden Cleric in Sargodha in Islamic Republic of Pakistan occupied Punjab intoxicates and kills 20 fellow Mohammaddens. It would seem that this Mohammadden Cleric failed to get the message touted by prominent Mohammadden political leaders like Pervez Musharrah, Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Recep Tayyep Erdogan, Mahatir Mohammed etc. that Mohammaddenism is a belief of Peace:

Two professors ‘detained by Rangers’ outside press club
KARACHI: A serving faculty member and a retired professor of Karachi University (KU) were taken away from outside the Karachi Press Club reportedly by law-enforcement agencies just before their scheduled press conference on Saturday evening.A known human rights activist and associate professor at the Applied Chemistry department of Karachi University, Dr Riaz Ahmed, along with Dr Mehar Afroze Murad, a retired professor of KU’s Islamic History department, were picked up when they were heading to the press club to hold a press conference that had been rescheduled after being cancelled a day ago, according to witnesses and teachers.
In reaction to their detention, Karachi University Teachers Society (Kuts) demanded immediate release of the KU faculty members. In a statement, the teachers’ association said that in a civilised society everyone had a right to freedom of speech.A senior police officer requesting anonymity told Dawn that the Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, detained Dr Ahmed and Dr Afroze near the press club.
Dr Hassan Zafar Arif, former teacher of philosophy at KU, who had joined the MQM-London, was also detained recently when he, along with other party leaders, tried to address a press conference at the same press club.
Appears to be a retaliation against MQM supporters .

Get over Jinnah’s Clapistan

In recent years, ever since Pakistan has taken a downward spiral, the idea that we somehow have detracted from Jinnah’s Pakistan has started making waves in the public and academic discourse. Every few months, a new op-ed pops up with ‘groundbreaking’ evidence unfolding what type of Pakistan Jinnah actually envisioned. Such articles typically unleash a furious debate between those that see Jinnah’s Pakistan to be secular and those that see it as an Islamic Republic.

Without taking any sides whether Jinnah was an Islamist or a secular person or wanted an Islamic or secular state, I believe both sides of the aisle can present reasonably authentic evidence to support their claims on what Jinnah viewed Pakistan as. The secular minded and liberals in Pakistan quote the constituent assembly speech where Jinnah clearly talked about the separation of religion from state affairs. The Islamists, on the other hand, like to quote Jinnah’s pre-partition speeches where his entire vision was to create a homeland for the Muslims of India because they were different in blood, culture, ethics, etc., from the Hindus. They argue that if Pakistan is for Muslims then why should it not be an Islamic state where the laws of Islam should prevail. Jinnah - in reality - was "All Things To All Men & Women"

Like almost every other issue in Pakistan, we are fighting over the abstractness of Jinnah’s vision of Pakistan, something that probably even he was not too sure about. Truth be told, Jinnah was no Thomas Jefferson and unlike the American Founding Fathers who wrote and documented extensively their vision on how they would like to see the United States, Jinnah never probably had a vision beyond getting a Muslim homeland. The fact that in an age of writing and publishing, Jinnah left behind nothing but a few contradictory speeches is startling.

Should we not then spare the debate on Jinnah’s Pakistan that is polarising society, and instead just agree on something more general such as: Jinnah only wanted a prosperous Pakistan, and take it forward from there to make our own road map towards creating a Pakistan that the majority of us can agree upon?

The debate on Jinnah’s Pakistan is not only redundant but has gotten into a dense framework of complexities, largely because both sides fail to understand the ‘political and contextual angle’ of Jinnah’s speeches, that we have actually lost the purpose of what exactly we need to take out from the debate on Jinnah’s vision. Having any further dialogue and debate on such a topic is unlikely to get us anywhere. And if we are not getting anywhere on this topic, better would be to abandon it completely and not carve disunity of ideas and integrity issues.

How Pakistan should be today has nothing and should be nothing to do with what Jinnah wanted and why he wanted. First, it was not ‘only’ Jinnah who made Pakistan; it was the effort of each and every one who suffered during that period to make this country. Hence, the people who are equally responsible for making Pakistan, it is up to them and their generations to decide what and how exactly they want to see this country. Second, the world and technology around us has changed, and it’s important to live by realities of today, instead of the fantasies of yesterday. Tim,e to FORGET Jinnah!

Hence, there should be a little less stress on ‘Jinnah’s Pakistan’, because honestly, there is none; and scratching out Jinnah’s vision forcefully has only served the political interests of a few, confused the people and obfuscated the roadway to progress.

It is really about time we stopped arguing over what Jinnah wanted, or what perhaps Iqbal wanted, or whether they were secular or not. What is more important is what we want today, and how we want to achieve that. There is a desperate need to change the debate in our curriculum, media and households. We need to start asking the right questions to reach the right answers. To begin with, let us ask what we want today instead of what Jinnah wanted in 1947.

Road to Nowhere- Pakistan’s misguided obsession with infrastructure
The government is building more airports, roads and railways, even though the existing ones are underused
NEARLY 20 years after it opened, Pakistan’s first motorway still has a desolate feel. There is scant traffic along the 375km link between Islamabad and Lahore (pictured). Motorists can drive for miles without seeing another vehicle, save perhaps for traffic cops manning speed traps. As the two cities are already connected by the Grand Trunk Road, which is 90km shorter and toll-free, there is simply not much demand for a motorway.
Only 0.6% of the population pays income tax. As the World Bank puts it, Pakistan’s long-term development depends on “better nutrition, health and education”.
There are limits, however. Khawaja Saad Rafique, the railways minister, recently admitted to parliament that the country would not be getting a bullet train after all. “When we asked the Chinese about it, they laughed at us,” he said.

Pakistan can not hold a truly free and fair election.
They tried once, and then didn't like the results and '71 happened as a result.
So they can't hold a truly free and fair election.

They can't hold a truly free and fair census either.
If they do, all the states will demand independence. This is going to happen when all states other than pakjab will cry foul and will want to secede if they get a chance. The fauj and the Pakjabis know that.
Instead of splitting into two like back in '71, they can split into four due to this census

Let the Census drama continue in the meantime and watch this space

The Minister's UnIslamic Practice

Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb ‘uses eggs to save herself from evil’

[quote]Family of Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb used 6 eggs to save her from the evil eye of people against her and the government.A private TV channel showed a video where an elderly lady was circling 6 eggs over her head. This is a tradition that is followed in parts of South Asia in which usually dried red chili peppers are used, to cast away the evil eye. But Pakistan is an Islamic country !!!

Nothing surprising there. No Pashtun, no Afghan government, not even Col. Imam's 'boys' recognized the Durand Line. In any case, the agreement has expired over two decades back.

The break-up of India, and a home

This is a review of the book. I am posting it here for a better understanding of Jinnah.
‘I will tell you who made Pakistan. Myself, my secretary and his typewriter,’ Jinnah is believed to have said. The boast was true. No other Muslim leader in India was strong enough to take the British policy of divide and rule to its logical conclusion: the break-up of India.

Yet this man was once a staunch nationalist, a leading member of the Indian National Congress, and ‘Ambassador of Hindu-Muslim unity’. Why did he change so drastically?

Answers, anyone?

No book on Jinnah has given an entirely satisfactory answer to this question. One reason for this is the great shortage of credible information on his personal life. An intensely private person, he never wrote any memoir, never kept a diary, and when he wrote a letter—he was a most reluctant letter-writer—kept it dry and impersonal. Worse, much of the little that we do know of the inner man is based on uncorroborated reminiscences written years after his death by people who clearly adored him. No serious biographer of Jinnah (including the author of Mr and Mrs Jinnah) can therefore avoid using qualifiers (‘perhaps’, ‘undoubtedly’, ‘quite possibly’, ‘would most likely have’, ‘would have surely’...) before saying anything significant about Jinnah’s personal life.

That’s why Mr and Mrs Jinnah is such a welcome addition to the small storehouse of our knowledge of the man. For the book is built round a bundle of private letters preserved by Padmaja and Leilamani Naidu, daughters of that most remarkable woman and indefatigable letter-writer, Sarojini Naidu, and stumbled upon by the author in the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library.

The bundle contains not only letters on the Jinnah couple written by the members of the Naidu family to each other, but also several letters written by Jinnah’s beautiful, precocious, highly romantic but finally doomed Parsi wife, Ruttie herself. She was close to the Naidu family. Sarojini Naidu also knew and greatly admired Jinnah.

The letters are absorbing enough to have been published as a booklet. Happily, the author, Sheela Reddy, journalist and writer, has made a whole book out of them by blending them with two excellent ingredients: one, vignettes of those times, political as well as social, which, though known to history buffs, should nevertheless be of interest to the general reader; and two, the author’s interpretations of what the letters say—as well as some general observations and conclusions. The final product, even if some of it is old wine, is a heady cocktail that is difficult to put down till after the last drop of it is drunk.

Of course in essence, as the title of the book suggests, Mr and Mrs Jinnah is a tragic love story. It has the right ingredients for one: a high-spirited, wealthy, young girl falling in love with a public hero (old enough to be her father); her break with everyone and everything from her past to marry the man; her hopes; her crushing disappointments; her increasingly desperate efforts to make a go of the marriage; her descent into darkness; her walking out of the marriage, leaving behind a deeply moving farewell letter; her lonely death at a young age (on her 29th birthday) perhaps from a deliberate overdose of morphine... And it is a deftly told story.

Incomplete tale

However, it is an incomplete story; for the Naidu bundles contain no letters from Jinnah himself. The author has tried bravely, using every straw in the wind, her own remarkable ability to put herself in her characters’ shoes, and, of course, her skill as a writer, to reconstruct Jinnah’s feelings at various stages of the disintegration of the marriage, but the fact remains: we have only Ruttie’s (mostly, only Sarojini Naidu’s) version of what went wrong in the marriage. That and the author’s interpretations.

Do these solve the great riddle of why Jinnah, once ambassador of Hindu-Muslim unity, ripped apart that unity and created a country which—step by inevitable step—has become ‘the hub of (Islamic) terrorism’ and ‘the most dangerous place on earth?’ Perhaps they do, provided you link the revelations in the Naidu letters with the conclusion of Kanji Dwarkadas, as the author has done on the last page of the book: ‘It was Jinnah’s bitterness, born out of his personal loss and disappointment, which travelled into his political life.’ Interestingly, the author also mentions (albeit, without quite endorsing it) Chagla’s view that Jinnah’s unmarried sister Fatima (who re-entered Jinnah’s life the day Ruttie died, never to leave his side again) was also at least partly responsible for Jinnah’s transformation.

This should do, at least till the day someone finds a bundle of personal letters written by Jinnah himself. They must exist somewhere.

India-Eurasia road almost ready, container dry run soon

NEW DELHI: Inching closer to making the International North South Transportation Corridor (INSTC) a reality — connecting India with Russia and Europe via Iran — a dry run of container movement via the green corridor (smooth customs facilitation) will be conducted during the next fortnight, marking the 70th anniversary of Indo-Russian diplomatic ties.

INSTC will substantially reduce time taken and cost for transport ofBSE 1.18 % goods between India and Eurasia once fully functional and increase economic activities between India and resource-rich Russia as well as markets of Europe.

The INSTC has moved closer to implementation after India decided to join international customs convention TIR following cabinet approval. The modalities of making INSTC functional was a discussed at a multi-stakeholder meeting on Monday, people familiar with the developments told ET.

INSTC is one of corridors that Delhi is working on as part of connectivity initiatives parallel to China's One Belt One Road strategy. Sunni Terrorist Fragments of Unstable Pakistan - March 17, 2017

China’s new globalisation order sees Pakistan off its list
HONG KONG: China’s President Xi Jinping, while addressing global political and business leaders recently at the World Economic Forum in Davos, made a remarkable speech defending globalisation and free trade.
The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), one of the flagship initiatives that envisaged free movement of goods and services among 12 Pacific countries including the US, envisaged an ambitious agenda to create the world’s biggest free trade area representing 40% of global trade. However, Trump, on the 3rd day of his presidency, signed an executive order withdrawing from the TPP. This provided an opportunity to China to fill the vacuum where it has joined the TPP as an observer with the hope of gaining full membership.
Additionally, China is pushing another ambitious initiative in the Asia Pacific to secure its export interests through Free Trade Areas of Asia Pacific (FTAAP) that includes 20 countries of the region. And it is also close to concluding the Asia Pacific Regional Economic Comprehensive Partnership (RCEP) where the coverage of trade is even bigger than the TPP. The other members of RCEP include India, Japan and other members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
In the meantime, Pakistan in its “Look East Policy” has been striving in addressing tariff and non-tariff barriers for its core export interest in the region. Pakistan is also keen in joining ASEAN as a full dialogue partner, including a free trade agreement with its members. But these gestures have not received much attention from the association.
Pakistan is not included in any of the regional negotiations being led by China despite having close political and economic ties with it.
The emerging regional trade arrangements led by China with ambitious tariff cuts will have adverse effects on exports from non-parties such as Pakistan and this should be a cause of concern for Islamabad.
Quo Vadis Clapistan?

Man with 54 children gets 'counted' in Balochistan census

The population census team carrying out a nationwide campaign was met with a surprise as they discovered a man living with 42 of his children in the Noshki district of Balochistan.

70-year-old Haji Abdul Majeed Mengal, who is a driver by profession, had 54 children from six wives, 12 of whom have died, BBC Urdu reported.

Two of his wives have also died, leaving four of them with him.

The district is 130 kilometres from Quetta towards east near the Afghanistan border.

Interestingly, prior to the commencement of the headcount exercise, Jan Muhammad Khilji hailing from Quetta was believed to have the highest, 36 children.

The house and population census began in March this year after a hiatus of 19 years. The exercise is being assisted by the armed forces of the country, accompanying the census staff in door-to-door visits.

"Future Field Marshall ( Raheel ) Already Has His Job Cut Out For Him .

Iran concerned over Raheel's appointment as head of Saudi-led military alliance: envoy :D
Iran has expressed its reservations regarding the appointment of the former army chief, retired Gen Raheel Sharif, as head of the Saudi-led 39-nation Islamic military alliance, saying it is not 'satisfied' with the coalition."We are concerned about this issue... that it may impact the unity of Islamic countries," Iran's Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost said. So the recent "action" at the Pakistan - Iran border was not co-inicidental .
Iran's state-run IRNA news agency quoted Honardoost as saying that Pakistan had contacted Iranian officials before issuing the no-objection certificate (NOC) to Gen Sharif to lead the Saudi alliance."But that does not indicate that Iran is satisfied with this decision or it has accepted the same," the envoy said. Saudi "sifarish" in Pakistan does not equal Irani concerns . Also Raheel's "bread and butter" is involved here
The government had issued an NOC for Sharif to join the alliance after an understanding was reached between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on the matter, retired Maj Gen Ijaz Awan, a defence analyst and close associate of the former army chief, had told Dawn
Pakistan had initially found itself in the crosshairs of Middle Eastern politics as Saudi Arabia named it as part of its newly formed military alliance of Muslim countries meant to combat terrorism, without first getting its consent. However, after initial ambiguity, the government had confirmed its participation in the alliance, but had said that the scope of its participation would be defined after Riyadh shared the details of the coalition it was assembling. Saudi Arabia has Pakistan , by the bxlls generally , and Nawaz Sharif , by the bxlls specifically
The Saudi government had surprised many countries by announcing that it had forged a coalition for coordinating and supporting military operations against terrorism in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt and Afghanistan. Saudi cash diplomacy !

Maulana Diesel Shut Out From Political Power

Pakistan always used for proxy wars: Fazl
He said the West and the US were conspiring against Pakistan. He said the seminaries had always raised voice against terrorism, but it seemed the prime minister was not aware of it. ( He "courted" Ganja ; Ganja "used" him to attack Imran ; Govt makes him "Head Of Kashmir Committee; Nawaz sends him to Londonistan as his emissary to Dus- Percenti - what else does "the Maulana" want ! In Politics, you cannot be "permanent friends" ) He said Pakistan couldn't jack up its GDP and the country depended on the World Bank and International Monitory Fund (IMF) loans.

Deported (?) Paki Ensnares German Widow As His Future Passport

German woman travels to Pakistan to marry love of her life
LAHORE – A 46-yeal-old German woman travelled all the way to Pakistan to marry the love of her life, Atif Rizwan from Gujranwala.Haika first struck a friendship with Atif Rizwan in a cloth shop in Leipzig and it gradually blossomed into love.“I was the first one to propose her. I first spotted her in a shop where she was looking for a dress for herself. I initiated fist by saying hello. She responded to me immediately and we both fell in love at first sight,” Atif told Daily Pakistan.
Haika converted to Islam, named herself Fatima and the couple got married. She was formerly a widow.Reminiscing the days before marriage, Atif, who travelled to Germany in 2011, shared his intimate moments with Haika when he first gifted her flowers.Haika said that she loved the traditional Pakistani dish Paya (trotters or hoofs of buffalo or cow). Something does not smell right in the lentils  : (i) Why did he return to Pakiland, if he was in "love with her in Germany " (ii) "Falling in love " and "flower giving " sanctioned under Sharia? (iii) Marrying a widow - I am guessing - is kosher as the "prophet of peace" himself has set a precedent in this matter ! (iv) Are spicy "beef paya" (halal) going to taste the same as "pig trotters " of her Germany !
