US counting on Pak support to eliminate Haqqani network: McCain

KABUL: US Senator John McCain visited Kabul on Tuesday and warned Pakistan that Washington was counting on its support to eliminate militancy and in particular the Haqqani network, responsible for numerous attacks on the Afghan territory.

The relationship between the US and Pakistan has been strained at times, with some in Washington believing Islamabad has not done enough to bring its influence to bear to persuade the Afghan Taliban to renounce violence. McCain’s statement came one day after he and a bi-partisan Senate delegation visited Islamabad, where Pakistani officials said he reinforced the country’s essential role in regional stability.

“We made it very clear that we expect they (Pakistan) will cooperate with us, particularly against the Haqqani network and against terrorist organisations,” said McCain, Chairman of the US Senate Armed Services Committee, in Kabul.

“If they don’t change their behaviour maybe we should change our behaviour towards Pakistan as a nation,” he insisted.Pakistan has received billions in US aid since the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. Led by Sirajuddin Haqqani, who is also the Taliban’s deputy leader, they have carried out numerous operations deep in the heart of Kabul, and have been blamed by Afghanistan for a devastating truck bombing which killed more than 150 people in the capital in May.

The Senate visit to Islamabad and Kabul comes as the US is gearing up to send more troops to Afghanistan to support Afghan forces straining to beat back the resurgent Taliban.

McCain called for more beat back the resurgent Taliban. McCain called for more than just troops, however, urging "a strategy to win" the war which has dragged on for nearly 16 years and which even US generals concede is at a "stalemate".

"The strongest nation on earth in this world should be able to win this conflict," he said, calling for diplomatic efforts alongside a military push. The US currently has 8,400 troops deployed under the Nato banner, and is thought to be mulling sending up to 4,000 more. Pentagon chief Jim Mattis has stressed his new approach, due to be presented to US President Donald Trump by mid-July, will have a broader "regional" emphasis, with no set timetable. Trump has remained remarkably taciturn on Afghanistan, but this month gave Mattis authority to set troop numbers at whatever level he saw fit.

Nato, whose Operation Resolute Support numbers some 13,500 including the Americans, also promised last week to increase its presence in Afghanistan. Recent Taliban gains have shaken confidence in Afghanistan´s future and talk of sending Nato troops in has stoked fears the alliance could get sucked back into an unwinnable war. But Mattis refused recently to "put timelines" on the conflict.

"The bottom line is that Nato has made a commitment to Afghanistan for freedom from fear and terror... You can´t let this be undone," he said in Brussels last week.

This Knowledgeable Pakistani Journalist Claims That Part Of The Deal To Let Raymond Davis Go Scot Free Also Involved The Americans Who, In Exchange, Agreed To Remove " Hundreds Of CIA Agents From Pakistan "

Story of a spy
Interestingly, in a recently published book The Exile, Husain Haqqani, the former Pakistan ambassador to the US, has been quoted claiming that it was his idea to resolve the issue through paying blood money. “I gave the idea to Panetta. And I gave the idea to Pasha,” Haqqani said.
It is obvious that all the stakeholders including the federal and the Punjab government were on board regarding the resolution of the crisis. But another more important issue missing in the discussions is that the deal to let Davis go also involved pulling out hundreds of undercover CIA operatives from Pakistan. There is surely no such detail in the Davis book that would expose his clandestine activities and the CIA’s covert operations in Pakistan. Before the book’s contents are swallowed and false accusations and assertions are hurled, it would be important to unravel the whole truth. Whatever the details involved in suddenly freeing Davis , there is little doubt that this was a "big hit" on the Echendee of Pakistan. It proves once again, that Pakis as individuals, and Pakistan as a nation can be " purchased easily " , if the Price is Right

Madame Jalebi Pitches For ARY TV :D

ARY Group transmissions resume after sudden shutdown
The ARY Group transmissions suddenly went off air across the globe today leaving the viewers confused and resumed an hour later. Viewers in confusion took to Twitter today as various channels of ARY group went off all of a sudden during a transmission. Media personality Mubasher Lucman and Pakistan Tehrik Insaaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari also took to Twitter in confusion of what had happened.
Could be "technical difficulties ", or a "political decision" . Hard to tell in the "conspiracy theory" environment of Pakiland

Study finds 1,317 knocked-out genes in DNA samples from Pakistanis
Research published in the journal Nature has analysed the DNA of 10,503 Pakistanis who were participating in a Pakistan Risk of Myocardial Infarction Study (PROMIS) and discovered 1,317 disabled or “knocked-out” genes.
The high number of human knockouts found in the country is due to the cultural tradition of cousin marriages that is prevalent here. I would go further and say that "honour killing" is somehow related to this phenomenon !
This Pakistani research study is reportedly the first time where the knockouts found have been tested and their blood biomarkers like cholesterol have been studied to discover more about their health. As part of this study, knockouts have been found that have not been seen anywhere else in the world.
Which once again confirms the "special nature of Pakistanis"
“Such studies provide unprecedented opportunities to understand the function of genes and provide important insights into the development of drugs,” says Dr. Saleheen. This research study was the result of an international collaboration between scientists from Pakistan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Pakis are hoping that a "special drug" can be found, to cure the "gene problem", arising out of "cousin marriage", so that can continue with this deplorable practice !
WoW resourcefulness of Bakis amazes me. Now they will export themselves to worlds leading universities as live research sample :((

Nawaz Jr. "Goes Islamic " To Garner Sympathy

Bearded Hussain surprises everyone
LAHORE - Wearing a moderate-sized beard with thick hair on his chubby cheeks, Hussain Nawaz Sharif surprised everyone yesterday when he alighted from his black car outside the Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad, to appear before the joint investigation team for the sixth time.
Media persons and others standing outside the academy expressed a pleasant surprise over the first sight of Hussain Nawaz Sharif who looked quite graceful in white shalwar-kameez and a waistcoat. Bearded Hussain in his early 40s resembled to his grandfather who also wore beard of the same size although he was slim and had a face contour which clearly told the story of his long struggle and a toilsome life. The border cuts of Hussain’s beard were of Islamic style. Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz who run the family business of the Sharifs reside mostly in London or Middle East according to the suitability of their business needs. Without being quite insulting , the newspaper is alluding that Nawaz Jr. is some sort of Dr Jekyll And Mr. Hyde character - suited and booted, western style in Londonistan, but strictly Islamic in Pakiland
Nawaz Sharif, father of Hussain Nawaz, and his uncle Shehbaz Sharif don’t have beard. So is his brother Hassan Nawaz. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is clean-shaven and Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has moustaches. His uncle late Abbas Sharif wore long beard while the sign of bowing down before Allah in prayers was quite conspicuous on his forehead. Is Nawaz Jr. "trying" to inherit cum emulate the (corrupt ) legacy of Abbaji- his paternal grandfather and the scion of the Sharif family - by going native
During the last five appearances before the JIT, Hussain Nawaz did not wear beard, so on the last appearance his bearded face was looking different reflecting more sobriety and innocence. In the family gatherings of religious nature, Hussain Nawaz Sharif is known for reciting from the holy Quran for which his voice is fairly appreciable. Is this just a stunt to impress ( fool ?) the family members and the Paki Awaam that in spite of living in Londonistan, he has not forgotten his his "Islamic roots"

This Pakistani Barrister Cum Legal Anal-ist Is Arguing That Pakistan Is Wrong In Defying The International Court Of Justice And Denying Consular Access To Jadhav . Also Proposes That Jadhav Should Be Tried In A Civilian Court !

Pakistanis’ attitude towards international law after Jadhav’s episode
by Barrister Ehtesham Amir-ud-din
Finally! Pakistan has started focusing on international law as the International Court of Justice (ICJ) indicated to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to take all measures at its disposal to ensure prevention of execution of Indian spy Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav pending a final judgment of the court in said matter.
While an overwhelming majority of opinion makers from different walks of life in Pakistan considered it a defeat in legal battle between the two countries and blamed their government for poor handling of the issue, others, went as far as to argue the complete boycott of ICJ’s proceedings on grounds of lack of jurisdiction.
The fundamental question placed by India before ICJ concerns alleged violation of Jadhav’s right of consular access guaranteed by Article 36, Paragraph 1, of Vienna Convention on consular relations 1963, during the course of his arrest, detention and military court trial. It is therefore paramount to appreciate, that, it is not the jurisdiction, the validity or the legitimacy of the Pakistani legal system or the Military Court in Pakistan, that is under question, it is only Jadhav’s right of consular access during trial, that is the point of debate at ICJ. Hope that Barrister Amiruddin is now not labelled as an "Indian Agent" :D
The need of the hour, as stated earlier, is to expand the net and horizon of the international law through United Nations (UN) and related international organisations and that is only possible by further strengthening these organizations and by ensuring their objectivity and impartiality above board. Long gone are the days of the law of the jungle. ( AKA resort to terrorism to have your way !)

Foreign Based RAPE Ayesha Educates Pakistanis On FGM

Female Genital Mutilation – more like genocide on female libido
by Chandni Shahpara Malik
I would like to meet the people who wangled the pipe dream of the “shareef ghar ki larki”, literally “daughter of a pious household” syndrome and to show them how such a concept, under the right circumstances of patriarchal suffocation, can engender a rogue badass woman. Before I introduce them to such a rogue charlatan element of society, I would like them to know what it is that they are asking for; I have a feeling they might not themselves have grasped the idea of a “shareef larki”. Enter Chandni. Note of caution : This farticle is catering to .00000001 % of the Paki female population !
Several years back, during my undergraduate years, I met a young Muslim student from Southeast Asia (thankfully not Pakistan) who was preparing for her wedding to a white American convert. She informed me that she was worried about being inadequate towards her husband's sexual needs as she was circumcised. Obviously this "Pakistani Larki" is not Islam Pasand
Fast forward some twenty years, and I realize that the concept of being a “shareef ghar ki larki”, or a “good”, “chaste” and “pure” woman is embedded so deep in our collective psyches that we judge ourselves, (harshly so) to be “pure” only if we have undergone a crippling amputation of our bodies and simultaneously our spirits. Female genital mutilation is a pervasive practice in several societies designed to keep women celibate and subjugated. It is akin to mutilating a woman’s libido and a vile attack on her being human. Thanks to my secular but profoundly Muslim upbringing, (because it's not an oxymoron to be a secular Muslim), I wasn’t forced to bear the tiresome-libido-breaking burden of a ‘Shareef Larki’, ‘pious woman’ title upon my not so broad shoulders like the Titan Atlas. I was free to display a skillset on badassery on LinkedIn. Ayesha "openly admits" that she is be-sharam
Humour aside, both men and women need to raise consciousness and voices against this crime towards women. Ladies, we need to do a better job at raising our boys and take responsible ownership of our own sexuality. Have a sexual day! I meant, wonderful. Or did I?
The author is Washington DC based Canadian of Pakistani heritage. She is currently working on a book on issues of sexuality and other things taboo amongst Muslims. ( Any chances that her book will be translated into Urdu and offered for sale to the female Ayeshas of Pakiland ! )

Pakistan "Copies" North Korea. Launches Ballistic Missile :D

Pakistan launches surface-to-surface ballistic missile ‘Nasr’
RAWALPINDI – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa Wednesday witnessed the “training launch” of short range surface-to-surface ballistic missile ‘Nasr’ that can hit its target at 70 kilometers. “Pakistan has successfully undertaken a series of training launches and tests and trials during the current week for validation of new technical parameters of ‘Nasr’ with enhanced range from 60 km to 70 km and flight maneuverability,” the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a tweet. Hope that this was truly an indigenous effort, and not another one of import, assemble, paint and fire jobs either from China or North Korea
The ISPR said the weapon system will “augment credible deterrence” against the “prevailing threat spectrum” more effectively, including anti-missile defenses. The army chief was quoted by the ISPR as saying that “Nasr ( what is this Paki obsession with Islamic warriors/ heroes in naming their mijjiles ; hoping to "curry more favor" with Saudia; next on the list should be named after (senile ) King Salman !!!) puts ‘cold water’ on ‘cold start’.”
Cold Start is the name given to a limited-war strategy designed by the Indian Armed Forces ( "Cold Start" 101 for Aam Abduls !) to seize Pakistani territory swiftly without, in theory, risking a nuclear conflict. It involves the various branches of India’s military conducting offensive operations as part of unified battle groups. The Cold Start doctrine is intended to allow India’s conventional forces to perform holding attacks in order to prevent a nuclear retaliation from Pakistan in case of a conflict. It has its roots in an attack on India’s parliament in 2001, which was carried out by terrorist groups allegedly used as proxies by Pakistan’s powerful  intelligence services ( which was not able to "locate" OBL  ) (ISI). Yet India has refused to own up to the existence of the doctrine since it was first publicly discussed in 2004. keep them guessing, like the disappearance of the ISI man in Nepal  !
Timing of the said launch is interesting : two days after Amreeki Senators left ; one day after NOKO launched it's own version to warn Massa

I don't know what it is, but something has spooked the Chinese. Either that, or the principal is worried about losing control of its agents. South China Sea, the Indo-China border situation (soon to become hot on global news channels, which are currently dead silent on it), the North Korean ICBM launch by a guy who "has nothing better to do with his life" and of course now the Pakistani launch as well (though a relatively minor thing in the overall scheme), plus the generally heightened belligerency of the statements emanating from the government... Leadership troubles in Zhongnanhai?

Paki Media Now "Go After" Daughter Of The Nation AKA Maryam Sharif :D

Panama case: Maryam Nawaz arrived at Judicial Academy in a car bearing ‘fake number plate’
ISLAMABAD – The Prime Minister’s daughter, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, arrived at the judicial academy Wednesday in a luxury car bearing a fake number plate, claims a Pakistani journalist. Dr Shahid Masood, an analyst, claimed during his TV programme on News One channel that the registration number fitted on a BMW car in Maryam’s squad belonged to a stolen motorbike, whose owner Muhammad Daud should be helped in getting back his vehicle. Three alternatives come to mind : (1) Fake News (2) Fake Licence Plate ( as alleged!)
(3) ]Licence # is real , but luxury car is fake ( like the daughter of the nation :D )
Masood, who is famous for detailing almost every ‘controversy’ against the country and Islamic world, went on to say that Hassan Nawaz was inquiring into the issue.
Maryam appeared for the first time before the Supreme Court-sanctioned joint investigation team (JIT) probing the Sharif family’s business dealings abroad. She was accompanied by husband Captain Safdar, brothers Hassan and Hussain, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, PM’s Special Assistant Asif Kirmani and female capital police officers, to the JIT secretariat. What about Ganja , ShowBaaz, The Federal And The Provincial Cabinet . Should they not be there to show their solidarity with the Daughter Of The Nation

McCain "Disappoints" Pakistanis ! Sings A Different Tune In Kabul

US Senators change tone against Pakistan upon arrival at Kabul
KABUL (AFP) – US Senator John McCain visited Kabul Tuesday and warned neighbouring Pakistan that Washington was counting on its support to eliminate militancy and in particular the Haqqani network, responsible for numerous attacks on Afghan territory. "We made it very clear that we expect they (Pakistan) will cooperate with us, particularly against the Haqqani network and against terrorist organisations," said McCain, chairman of the US Senate Armed Services Committee, in Kabul.
"If they don’t change their behaviour maybe we should change our behaviour towards Pakistan as a nation," he insisted. So, this "veteran war monger" - who is "powerful" in the corridors of the Pentagon - and who was wined and dined in Isloo was not swayed at the BS that was fed to him during his two or three day stay in Pakiland
Trump has remained remarkably taciturn on Afghanistan, but this month gave Mattis authority to set troop numbers at whatever level he saw fit. McCain who appears "tough", but IMO, still has a "soft corner" for Pakistan, still wants to "give the benefit of the doubt" to the Pakis, but for how long who knows !!!

Qatari Prince Giving "The Run Around" To Ganja Sharif

Qatari Prince Hamad Bin Jasim refuses interview with Panama JIT members
DOHA: The Panama case Joint Investigation Team members could not interview and investigate the Qatari Prince Hamad Bin Jasim after his refusal to meet the JIT members in the Pakistan Embassy. Qatari prince Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al Thani refused to meet members of the Joint Investigation Team on Wednesday, stating that he would only meet them at his office. According to details, two members of the JIT were in Dubai to record the statement of the Qatari prince with regard to the Panama Leaks controversy involving Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
However, the prince refused to meet the members of the JIT at the Pakistani embassy. Thani said that he would only meet the JIT members at his office. True to Arab tradition, the Prince is either giving the usual runaround , or is "ditching" Ganja Sharif , because he may have concluded that Ganja Sharif is "too toxic" for his taste. Or it could be something genuine also . With all the worldly troubles, this "sponsor of terrorism" nation (Qatar ) is going through, "The Prince " just does not have the time to oblige Ganja with another "false affidavit ". But come Hunting Houbara Bustard season, hope the Prince can get a permit

Honour And Dignity ( Also Known As "Echendee" ) Will Now Be Fully Restored :D

Pakistan to hoist world’s 8th largest flag at Indian border

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is all set to hoist the eighth largest flag of the world at the Wagah border and preparations are in full swing. The eighth largest flag would be installed in the park adjacent to the border. The Pakistani flag would be 400 feet high, 120 feet wide, and would illustrate its glory before the enemy, ( what are the chances of peace between India and Pakistan- Kashmir or no Kashmir - when words like "enemy" are used ! ) a private news channel reported. The parade at the Wagah border and patriotic slogans are the essence of the ceremony that people come to witness on daily basis, and this addition of eighth largest flag would surely boost their spirits and passion. According to the assistant director of PHA, the machinery is at work to remove the trees from the place where the flag is planned to be erected.
No new news on the India Flag ! Hope it is still flying ( and spying on Pakistan  )

I just hope there isnt another Wagah like pissing match on the size of the flag each other erects. (I know this is an == but plizz to bear with me).

Soon along with our flood-lit border that can be seen from space with nothing but a naked eye, the Flags in the border area would also be clearly visible, like a gigantic all too real version of google maps.

Free- Fall For The Paki Rupee

Pakistan Says Rupee's Biggest Drop in Nine Years Is ‘Artificial’
Pakistan’s rupee plunged the most in nine years, prompting the government to say that it was concerned by the “artificial” weakness in the currency. What is the meaning of "artificial" ; Is George Soros speculating on the Paki Rupee
The rupee tumbled 3.1 percent to 108.095 per dollar at close of trading Wednesday, the lowest level since December 2013. Analysts including Karachi-based Topline Securities Ltd., BMA Capital Management Ltd. and BMI Research said the nation had devalued its currency. I.O.W the Market has made an "correction". And the Market did not accept the Sialkoti Statistics and the Lahori Logic of the Isloo mandarins
The International Monetary Fund last year pointed out that the currency -- which operates under a managed float regime -- was overvalued by as much as 20 percent and hurting its exports. In an interview last month, Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan said he was trying to persuade Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to adjust the rupee’s value after the weakening of currencies by nations including China, Turkey and Thailand gave them an edge over Pakistan. Dastigar should know that the fundamentals of these other nations are based on "solid foundations" , while Pakistan State Bank ( Reserve Bank ) is still showing on their books 70 year old Accounts Receivable From India, which they should have written off a long time ago . IMO, Pakistan, as a " nation" is living on "daily wages". Not sure where the next meal is coming from
Dar in a statement issued Wednesday evening said certain individuals, lenders and entities were “exploiting the current political situation,” a reference to a team probing corruption allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family. The nation’s stocks dropped the most globally on Monday as Sharif’s son appeared before the team. No amount of PR - giri is going to make things turn around
The “State Bank of Pakistan will continue to closely monitor the developments in the foreign exchange markets and stands ready to ensure stability in the financial markets,” the central bank said. :((

Visa free travel for Pakistanis: US embassy clarifies report :rotfl:

United States Embassy in Pakistan has responded over the fake news circulating in media regarding the Visa free travel for Pakistanis.

A US official on Wednesday denied a report claiming Donald Trump has signed an order allowing visa-free travel for Pakistanis.

A website, USA Television, published an article claiming the US president had “signed a visa-free travel policy” for residents of Pakistan to “strengthen trade” .

“The United States President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to allow all Pakistan nationals travel to the United States without visas,” the report stated.

“The new order, serving as a change in visa policy for Pakistanis traveling to the United States, would permit them stay in the US for a maximum period of 180 days for Tourism or Business purposes only. Stay over 180 days would therefore require a visa,” it added.

Trump says this measure is to strengthen trade between the United States and Pakistan, the report upheld.

US Embassy spokesperson Fleur Cowan said, “This story is fake. If any Pakistani citizens are interested in travelling to the US, they can visit our website.”

USA Television also posted articles claiming Trump had also implemented visa-free travel policies for citizens of Ethiopia, Haiti, Kenya, Jamaica, Malawi, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Russia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and the entire Caribbean.

Look at the map of Pakistan. The overwhelming length of its land border — 92% of a total of 6,774kms — is shared with three countries: India (43%), Afghanistan (36%) and Iran (13%). Pakistan has poor relations with each of these three neighbours.

Has anyone seriously asked the two obvious questions: Why? And, at what cost?

Before we jump on the moral high-horse and go into paroxysms of indignant self-righteousness, we could consider the following:

When George Bush asks “Why do they hate us?” and answers “Because we are so good,” we marvel at his intelligence. When we proclaim the same, we want to be taken seriously?

Surely, some self-reflection is in order.

Point number one: When nobody likes you, the problem could very well be with you. At the very least, intellectual honesty demands one should be open to the possibility.

All right, there is a ready-to-serve narrative for the hostility with India. It is a Hindu country and Hindus are different from Muslims and want nothing better than to undo Pakistan. Ergo, we have to terrorise them from time to time lest, God forbid, they change their minds.

But what about our fellow-Muslim neighbours. Do we have semi-plausible narratives to explain our unhappiness with them?

We need to have a friendly regime in Afghanistan so we can be friends with them. Of course, this involves regime change about which we have serious qualms except when we are desperately seeking friends. And a little strategic depth won’t hurt either because when we have to pole-vault over the Indian border, we can start running from much further back.

Meanwhile, as former US secretary of state Madeleine Albright said about the death of 500,000 Iraqis: “I think this is a very hard choice, but the price — we think the price is worth it.”

And Iran, don’t they belong to a different sect? In any case, the enemy of our friend is our enemy, isn’t it?

Okay, I am exaggerating (slightly) but could we put some more coherent narratives on the table and have a national discussion without being defensive or afraid. And, while we are at it, could we also discuss who are the geniuses making these brilliant foreign policy decisions? Because it is certainly not the citizens.

We do seem to have a surreal notion of how to resolve our issues. Instead of trying to get along with the neighbours we have, we seem desperate to relocate ourselves to another neighbourhood. If only we could become ‘Bakistan’ and cuddle up to Saudi Arabia or attach ourselves to the underside of those wonderful ’stans, or be an extension of China, wouldn’t everything be so wonderful?

Quite aside from the fact that moving a country is not quite the same as moving a family from quarrelsome Harbanspura to peaceful Bedian, the nice thing about counterfactuals is that they never need to be put to the test. Having made a hash of Saarc and RCD, we can boldly dream we would make a great success of CAP (Central Asia and Pakistan — seriously).

It does help to have a short memory. Didn’t we have a neighbour (a little more than that, actually) about a 1,000 miles to the east and what exactly did we do to it that it could not bear our embrace?

Is everyone in this pipedream too smoked up to keep track of the contradictions? We launched a jihad in Afghanistan because godless communists were being nasty to our fellow Muslims and now our best friends are godless communists who allegedly won’t allow Muslims in their country to grow beards or fast during Ramazan (sorry, Ramadan). We are sincerely upset about Kashmir but, please, could we sincerely avert our eyes from Xinjiang. Or else.

More and more this comes across as a melange of self-serving gibberish that just doesn’t hold together. But who is to say and we know who there is to hear.

And what about the benefits and costs? Every situation has its winners and losers and in almost every case two truths are held: the winners are few and the losers many, and the winners convince the losers that everything is happening in the latter’s interest and is exactly as the Good Lord willed. How much better the reward when it is finally conferred in the Hereafter.

There’s no prize for guessing the winners and the losers. Just look for the folks whose lifestyle is immune to whatever happens on the borders and those who are laughing to the bank and onwards to the Bahamas. There go your winners. As for the losers, think of those for whom a few rupees less in the price of food would mean two meals a day instead of one.

You may not be able to do much about it but I am sure you can figure it out.

Key takeaway is not to befriend India, but to export pakistaniyat to china in case they cant pay off their debt

Paki obsession is to buy strays as pure breeds. Case in point - second hand chini maal and hand me downs from the west (e.g., used F-16s from Jordan). It is the rest of world which is to blame for selling strays as pure breeds to the pakis.

I think the hollow chini dhamkis to India are actually targeted at the pakis - stray off the line or misbehave or block our army or impose taxes on our cheap goods and you are literally history.

Write Up In NY Times By Nephew Of Dictator Zia- Ul- Haq

Going to Hooters and Seeing America
By Mohammad Zia Adnan (@mziaadnan) is a rising junior at Princeton.
It sounds like the beginning of an uncomfortable joke: Four brown kids of Pakistani descent — from Karachi, Dubai, London and Augusta, Ga. — walk into a Hooters on a recent Saturday afternoon. Under "Islamic Law" introduced by his hypocrite Uncle ( Zia) is he allowed to "walk into Hooters"
They order cheese fries, mozzarella sticks and a plate of fried pickles that will later give the Londoner (me) a wild bout of indigestion. Waitresses in the company’s trademark orange shorts flit about, taking orders and smiling at families with children. Burly men in baseball caps clink pints of gold libation. Football plays on one flat screen TV, but is muted for the golf tournament that plays on another. Is he there for the Hooter food or is he there for the Hooter girls !!!
In truth, this expedition wasn’t a joke, but more of a fascinating ethnographic adventure. My friends and I didn’t plan on eating at Hooters initially. We go to Princeton, where two of us are international students, and that Saturday, we craved the spicy curries and fluffy flatbreads of our pre-college lives. A new biryani joint had opened up at a strip mall not far from campus, so we took an Uber over to check it out. Across the parking lot, we spotted a branch of the famous restaurant chain, complete with a Hooters owl and a sign in the window that read: “Delightfully tacky, yet unrefined.”
“Let’s just go in for appetizers,” one friend suggested, lingering by the entrance as she ( Does this Paki Ayesha have a mehram in attendance, as per Islami laws  ) looked longingly at a hamburger through the glass. “We have to eat here at least once before we graduate. It’s so American.” Knowing Pakis, doubt it was for appetizers; white flesh on display ; not "available" in Pakiland or Arabi countries
As children, we were reared on American TV: chick-flicks, Disney and coming-of-age dramas from the early 2000s. ( alongwith a bit of Islamic music and talk 24/7 !) We knew all about Fourth of July barbecues and fireworks set off in red, white and blue. We wanted to see this world — the America of a country song. Remember ! This NY Times readers are first and foremost Amreeki, so give them what they like to hear! Practice Taqiyya ( like Zia  )
Our afternoon at Hooters was, therefore, strangely rewarding. We marveled at the awkward dates, flannel shirts, frosty beer steins and greasy mozzarella sticks. John Denver played over the speakers. The atmosphere was flirtatious but also, paradoxically, mundane. This was quintessential America, we thought, straight out of the movies — a star-spangled feast for the senses. And we had found it mere miles away from our ivy-covered campus. Nothing about ogling the semi - naked "customer servicers
At Princeton, international students attend a separate orientation on acclimating to life in the United States. We were given logistical information and taught some cultural know-how, but the thing that stuck out most to me was a flowchart graphic that depicted the lulls and peaks of how we might experience the novelty of this country. Lot of buzz words . Again to impress Amreeki readers !
Those who are freshly arrived experience the highs of an initial honeymoon period, when everything from the Dunkin’ Donuts in the dining hall to clothes dryers (not as common where I grew up) are inspiring and exciting. Then there are the lows of homesickness, when international students inevitably long for familiarity — and, in my case, samosas. What about namaz and rozas - why not mention them here !
Adapting to life at Princeton was generally smooth for me. Aside from the standoffish immigration officers that stamp my passport ( The Green Passport always requires special attention and maybe, this "gentleman" may have been subjected to same, but not to mention here !) with raised eyebrows, and East Coast winters that still do not agree with me, I am in a state of relative bliss in the United States, tucked between leather-bound stacks at the library, immersed in the luxury of reading and thinking. Of course, it’s not like I live on an island divorced from reality. In today’s political climate, my international friends and I are all constantly confronted by the harshness of the news cycle. As a young Muslim, as a non-American, I know that the comforts of a college campus like mine cannot be underestimated.
These are strange times we live in, but mostly, you wouldn’t really know it from inside the academic bubble, and fortunately so. I love my campus — its pretty pathways lined with orange leaves in the fall, its creaky chairs and Gothic windows in the lecture rooms, its embrace of everything intellectual and of diversity. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see the America of loud Fourth of July parties, a country that, like Hooters, is both crass and, oddly, family-friendly. He should note that Amreeka is not "Islam friendly" these days. He should watch out !
Now when I want to get away from Locke or Voltaire, I know where to go. That afternoon at Hooters, slightly nauseated from the deep-fried pickles, I had one thought running through my mind: Here I am, finally. America. Wonder what his namesake "famous uncle" would have said about this "writeup"

Pakistan Should Protest ! Modi-ji Gives Long-Term Visa To Israeli Survivors Of 26/ 11 Mumbai Attack

Modi Meets 'Baby' Moshe, Gives Him a Long-Term Visa to India
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday offered 'baby' Moshe, a survivor of the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, a long-term visa to India.
Moshe was just a two-year-old baby when( Pakistani ) terrorists attacked Nariman House in Mumbai and killed his parents.
PTI reported that Modi, in a special gesture, met Moshe, now 11, along his grandparents and Indian nanny Sandra Samuels, who managed to escape with him from the Nariman House which came under attack by Pakistan-based LeT terrorists in 2008.
"Come and stay in India and Mumbai. You are most welcome. You and your all family members will get long term visas. So you can come anytime and go anywhere," Modi told the boy during the meeting. Moshe started his welcome speech for Modi in Hindi, saying "Aapka swagat hai humare desh mein".
"I want to ask you something from all of us: Please continue to love me forever. Thank you. And always remember my parents. "I live in Afula, but I remember our connection to Nariman House...I hope I will be able to visit Mumbai and when I get older, I live there...Dear Mr Modi I love you and the people in India," Moshe said. Very much doubt that this news will be reported in the Paki Media
The boy gifted a photo to Modi. "Thank you for your very very special gift," Modi said with affection. Moshe's parents Rivka and Gavriel Holtzberg, serving as emissaries of Chabad in Mumbai, were killed along with six others by terrorists at the Nariman House, also popularly known as Chabad House. The Nariman House was one of the five places targeted by the terrorists during the attack that killed 166 people. The uneducated terrorists were specially told to kill Indian, Americans , Jews and other foreigners but to spare their co-brethren, only if they can recite the kalma :x
Moshe now lives with his grandparents -- Rabbi Shimon Rosenberg and his wife Yehudit Rosenberg. He now goes to a yeshiva (religious school). He is still very attached to his nanny Sandra who works in Jerusalem and joins the family over the weekends. Israel honoured Sandra with an honorary citizenship in September 2010.
Before the meeting Modi, Moshe's grandfather had said he wanted to do his grandson's 'bar mitvah', a ceremony performed for Jewish boys at the age of 13 which Indian scholars in Israel compare with upnayana or the thread ceremony, in Mumbai for which he would invite Modi.

Ganja's "Badshahi Largesse" To Winning Kirket Team Being Questioned By An Aam Abdul In Isloo Court

Under what law was cricket team rewarded, PM Secretariat asked
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday sought comments from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat regarding a petition filed against the announcement of a reward of Rs10 million each for players on the Pakistan cricket team for winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Hearing the petition filed by advocate Tariq Asad, IHC Justice Aamer Farooq issued a notice to the principal secretary to the prime minister with directions to explain the law under which the premier could announce such awards. As a modern day "Moghal Badshah" it is within his rights to bestow such "gifts" to his "noble subjects"
The petitioner has adopted before the court that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has sanctioned Rs215 million in rewards for the cricket team for winning the Champions Trophy against India in England. The petitioner has said that as per the notification of June 21, 15 players of the cricket team will receive Rs10 million, while each of the 13 members of the team management will be given Rs5 million when they already receive a monthly salary as regular employees. This is one concerned Paki who is "worried " about the state of the nation's finances
He has maintained that the team deserves tribute for winning the trophy but the distribution of public funds in an extravagant manner is neither in public interest nor is it in accordance with the law. He said players and squad members get sufficient match money, funds from other resources, salaries and benefits for playing first class cricket for various departments and have contracts with the Pakistan Cricket Board, making their normal income “over and above a 22-grade officer”. The petitioner may well be an Immy supporter. Hope he is not" singled out " for special treatment by Nawaz's goons
“Such a huge amount may be utilised for public welfare,” he stated, adding that if the money has to be spent on sports or cricket, then the best way is to give these funds to the 16 regions at the grass roots level where players cannot even buy essential accessories for playing the game. He has requested the court to set aside the June 21 order and that the funds may be utilised to provide basic amenities to common people. It would be commendable if the judge can put a "stop payment" as requested by the petitioner . IMO, it will be a long, long, time before the players see any money ( remember, Zardari's "gift" to Ajmer Dargah . The Dargah had to remind him again and again, before he "coughed up " the money !
Though the petitioner also requested the court to stay the reward giving ceremony, the premier had already handed over the prize to the cricket team by the time the court order was issued. Ganja was able to round up such a large amount at such short notice ; maybe, just an "announcement" was made, no payment yet, hopefully
Arguing before the court on Tuesday, the federal government’s counsel, deputy attorney general Raja Khalid Mehmood said Article 78 to 87 of the Constitution were related to the budget, grants and supplementary grants allowing the prime minister to announce cash awards among other grants. He added that the funds allocated for the Prime Minister’s Office could also be utilised in such situations. Doubt that Ganja's office budget (PMO) would be allocated such a huge amount !
After issuing notice to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the court adjourned the hearing till a date to be fixed by the registrar office. Doubt that petitioner will win !

According To This Conspiracy Theorist , The Phone Call To "Stabilize The Rupee" Never Came, Hence The Sudden Decline Of The Rupee

Sliding rupee
Now this is strange. On the morning of Wednesday, as the broadcast media remained fixated on the appearance of Maryam Nawaz before the JIT, the rupee suddenly started sliding against the dollar. Where it had remained around Rs104.8 to the dollar since the spring of 2014 — and we kept hearing that it is overvalued, how exports are hurting as a result, how currencies of other countries whose exports compete with Pakistan’s have been depreciated in recent years — it stuck stubbornly to that level. Then suddenly in one morning it slides by 3pc. What on earth happened? We know that the State Bank suddenly stopped intervening in the currency markets on that morning. This gets a little technical so let me explain.
The State Bank has a number of tools through which it can influence the exchange rate, some obvious others subtle. The most obvious tool is to buy and sell dollars from the interbank market. When they want the rupee to rise, for example, they can sell large quantities of dollars to the interbank market, thereby increasing the supply of foreign exchange, and bringing down its price. When they want the rate to fall, they either buy dollars from the market, or simply stop selling, whichever is necessary to constrict the supply and cause the price of the dollar to rise. ( Economics 101 being repeated for the benefit of Aam Abduls !)
Each such transaction leaves a trace, and while the country is on an IMF programme, the mission chief sitting in Washington, D.C., can actually see such transactions happening in real time on a dashboard on his screen.
So then there are the more subtle measures. The subtlest of them all is a simple phone call from the State Bank to the treasurers of major banks. As the rate begins to rise and hit an informal ceiling, a phone call will come to the treasurer from the State Bank saying “don’t buy at this level”. The treasurer will obey (it would be foolish not to), and suddenly the price will stabilise wherever the bank wants it to be.
This method has the benefit of operating below the radar, meaning it leaves no trace and is not visible to the Fund or other foreign creditors. Hence the currency will appear stable, and there will be no major central bank interventions in the foreign exchange market.
Phone calls such as these are made on a daily basis. But yesterday these calls never came. As the rupee slid slightly in the morning, treasurers were expecting their phone to ring, and when it didn’t, they grew puzzled.
Someone is "plotting" against Ganja and Dar in the corridors of Isloo
If the government wants us to believe that its difficulties with the JIT have caused gyrations in the currency markets, you should know that things don’t work like that. For the longest time, we kept hearing that the sharp stock market declines are due to the prevailing political uncertainty, but those in the know will tell you that even on the trade floor, things don’t work like that. Political uncertainty, especially of this sort, cannot trigger sustained selling pressure.
Fact is this was an engineered event, and we need to know who the engineer was. By itself a currency depreciation is not a bad thing, and if the rupee remains at the level that it found on Wednesday, it will help rectify a distortion in our external account. Rather than make a big deal of the depreciation itself, it would be better to ask on whose instructions the various supports were pulled away from the rupee.
Rather than admit that the fundamentals of the Paki Rupee are on shaky ground ( not backed by any real assets - gold, silver, dollar etc ), this anal-ist , like most Pakistanis veers towards "conspiracy theory" to explain the free fall

Govt Forces And Baloch Nationalists Battle It Out On The Streets Of Quetta

BNP leader Malik Naveed Dehwar killed in Quetta gun attack
Balochistan National Party (BNP) leader Malik Naveed Dehwar and his guard were killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire at the former's vehicle in Quetta's Arbab Karam Khan Road area on Thursday afternoon, police said. Another man identified as Haji Essa was also injured in the attack.
The assailants escaped unhurt after spraying bullets at Dehwar's car, killing him on the spot. The injured were rushed to Quetta Civil Hospital's trauma centre for treatment. The hands of The Deep State or its Agents cannot be ruled out !
Meanwhile, the BNP has strongly condemned the killing of its leader and urged the government to arrest the killers. Malik Naveed Dehwar was a local leader of BNP, which is led by Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the former chief minister of Balochistan.Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Sanaullah Zehri also strongly condemned the incident and directed the police to arrest the culprits behind the killings.
The incident came hours after unidentified assailants attacked the convoy of Balochistan Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch in Panjgur area, with the minister and his aides remaining unharmed in the incident. So, it could be some sort of a tit for tat killing !

Political Incest Prevails In Pakiland . Juicy Gossips Make The News

Ishaq Dar is married to which fellow lawmaker? Senior journalist breaks news
PTI chief Imran Khan, whose name is usually on the tip of PML-N leaders’ tongue, would get another weak point after a senior journalist revealed the secret marriage of a ruling party’s key lawmaker with a fellow legislator. Known journalist, Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain, while talking in current affairs program DNA on 24 news channel said that PML-N leaders who regularly criticise Imran Khan will get astonished after learning about the hidden marriage of their own main member. Ghulam Hussain exposed that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has married a sitting member of the National Assembly but did not make it public. He said that PM’s wife Begum Kalsoom Nawaz was annoyed over it.
Dar, who is related to Ganja, through the marriage of their children, is therefore considered to be part of "Ganja's inner circle ". The reports, if true , also confirms the wide prevalence of taking up second or third wives without "violating" the country's so-called Islami Laws - Shahbaaz has more than one wife !
Although the journalist avoided to reveal the name of his spouse, he highlighted her characteristics saying, “She is an industrious and intelligent MNA and used to move from one party to another on the basis of these qualities”.
 Nice way of saying that "she is available for sale, if the price is right "
He also challenged the PML-N and the finance minister to contradict the news if they could. Hussain further said that he will reveal place, time and other matters of marriage in the same program if it is refuted. Stayed tuned for next episode !
Hussain said that people should look into their own matters instead of pointing fingers at the personal lives of others.
Exposing further who is married to whom, the senior journalist said that a leader of ruling party has married a TV anchor, while another has tied a knot with a friend of their daughter. Is it not high time that his employer re- assign him to more productive assignments than this
It is noted that DNA is also credited for exposing the marriage of Imran Khan with journalist Reham Khan, besides revealing the divorce between the couple. So, he has a track record ![/quote]

Issue of relevance
ALTAF Hussain may have successfully resisted everything the British police could throw at him, but his increasing irrelevance in Karachi has left him looking for friends in powerful places.
MQM London has recently organised a series of meetings in Washington with Altaf Hussain’s current favourite, Nadeem Nusrat, meeting prominent political figures including former presidential hopeful, Senator John McCain, Californian Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and Congressman Ted Poe of Texas. In a speech to Congress, Poe indicated that he had also received a letter from the World Mohajir Congress, which he put onto the congressional record.

Disgraced Paki Airline Defends "Ugly Face" Of It's Air Hostess !

PIA fittingly responds to viral picture of air hostess
The Express Tribune > Pakistan
KARACHI:
Pakistan International Airlines often receives flak through social media over their service. However, recently an image of one of their air hostess went viral and Twitter’s response was mixed.
The tweet caught the attention of netizens and they responded with disappointment over disgracing the flight crew.
PIA clapped back with a seemingly picture of the airhostess captioned: “Proudly serving PIA with professionalism and fearless commitment. It is good to know that the airline, for once, has come out in support of its staff

PS: There should be some sort of "mechanism" to retire the "old models" still serving the Paki public . Make room for the new generation !!!

Foreign Women (Married To Pakis ) Barred From Living In The Hinterlands Of Pakiland !

Swedish woman arrested from Dera Ghazi Khan
The Express Tribune
DERA GHAZI KHAN:
A Swedish woman was arrested along with her three children from Dera Ghazi Khan on Wednesday.
An official of Civil Lines police station told The Express Tribune, “We received a tip off that a foreign national is residing in a house near Manka Canal, Fareedabad Colony. We immediately raided the spot and arrested the woman and her three children.”
The official maintained the woman was taken into custody as the interior ministry had issued instructions that foreigners could not enter, stay or reside in the district without getting an NOC from the authorities concerned. DG Khan is "uranium rich" and it borders restive Balochistan Province !
He pointed out the woman, whose identity could not be revealed due to security reasons, had married Ghulam Shabbir in Saudi Arabia and later the couple shifted to Pakistan. He said the woman was living with her husband and children for the last eight months in Dera Ghazi Khan. He said they were shifted to the police station while further investigation was underway.

What is the background on Pakis claiming that PeeEyeAy was the bestest and the greatest Airlines in 1960-70 and they taught the Gulf based Airlines on How to run an Airlines. That Any Paki had any money to fly an Airlines is a different story.

PS: Actually if you read Paki media, it feels like Pakis were the greatest and richest nashun in the world till Zia walked in and then Islam spoiled everything.
