If it is again haggling for rates, that means that another consummation is on the cards because the client/escort have no history of letting the price be the breaking point. SSridharJi, I completely agree and I am certain all the parties involved in this drama do so as well. This has happened far too many times in the past for it to be taken seriously. A half-hearted attempt at "breaking up" is all that this is, perhaps that's why GoI treated this announcement with apathy.

New F.O. Wants New Probe Into Raymond Davis Case

Asif says will side with parliament for probe into Raymond Davis case

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif stated that he will appreciate parliament’s decision if it wants to reinvestigate Raymond Davis' case. While speaking to senate session, he stated, “Talking about this case only for point scoring will not be healthy practice for the country.”In camera or a public inquiry of Raymond Davis case will be propitious for our nation, he further added. Motive most likely, IMO is to embarrass the previous PPP Govt and score political points ! Timing of the same is interesting !
He said some people played their part in this case to execute their own international commitments. The minister also told that Pakistani government paid the money to the victims' families to free Davis.

The Farce Of "Paki Justice" Surfaces Again !

FIA summons PIA ex-CEO Hildenbrand

Then, in a surprise move, the ex-CEO was given one-time permission to fly home for thirty days after which he was supposed to come back to Pakistan on June 10, 2017. But he did not return to face corruption charges.

Just like the "attempt" to "reopen" the Raymond Davis case that is floated by the new FO !

According to this FRIDAY TIMES gossip column ( Such Gup ) Imran Khan rebuffed Ayesha Gulalai ( who has now accused him of sexting !) and instead chose Reham Khan ( and we now know what happened to that marriage !), when he was in the "marriage market"

    Checked out
Our mole in The Great Khan’s horde has revealed that there was a time when The Khan was actually considering tying the knot with his devotee turned nemesis, AG, that brave Waziri woman. Apparently, he asked his friends’ wives to “check her out” and determine whether she was suitable for “the slot” or not. This is before Dharna I, in early 2014. AG was evaluated and before The Khan’s friends could submit their report, he declared that “the project” had been abandoned in favour of “someone else”. This latter turned out to be RK, whom The Khan then wed, only for the marriage to unravel shortly thereafter.

57% increase in Pakistan’s population in 19 years, shows new census

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s population has increased to a staggering 207.8 million with an increase of 75.4 million people within 19 years, according to provisional summary results of the 6th Population and Housing Census 2017 that Council of Common Interests (CCI) approved Friday.

According to the summary results, the country’s predominant majority 63.6% (132.189 million people) still lives in rural areas. This ratio was 65.6% in 1998 when the last headcount was conducted. Compared with the results of the last census there was a 57% increase in the population at an annual rate of 2.4%.

The CCI –the constitutional body headed by the prime minister with four chief ministers in the chair, approved the provisional summary results Friday. However, the final results will be available next year.
The results are exclusive of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics conducted the census in these two territories but did not release their results as part of the country’s population due to their disputed status.

The urban population stood at 75.58 million, which is roughly 36.4% of the country’s population. In 1998, the share of urban population was 32.52%.

    Women in minority

One of the surprising results was reduction in share of women in the total population. The female population stood at 101.314 million, which was 48.8% of the total headcount, according to the 2017 results. The male population increased to 106.449 million or 51.2%. Meanwhile, there were only 10,418 transgender persons (0.05%).

    Punjab

Punjab still remains the most populated province, as its population stood at 110.1 million or 52.94% of the total population. The province’s population in past 19 years increased 36.4 million, which was 49.4% higher than 1998 statistics.

    Sindh

Sindh remained second most populated province with 47.886 million people, which is 23% of the total population. Sindh’s population grew by 57.3% or 17.44 million during past 19 years.

    K-P

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s population stood at 30.523 million –which was 14.69% of the total population. Its population grew by 12.78 million or 72% — the second maximum increase.

    Balochistan

Balochistan’s population stood at 12.344 million or 5.94% of the total population. In past 19 years, its population grew by 5.8 million or 88% — the maximum increase in the population of any federating unit in terms of percentage.

    ICT

Islamabad Capital Territory population stood at two million, which was 1.2 million higher than the 1998 census. In terms of percentage, it grew by 149%.

    FATA

The population of Federally Administrated Tribal Areas stood at 5.1 million. There was a 1.8 million increase in the population of the autonomous region.

The PBS had conducted the exercise in two phases across Pakistan under the supervision of the military. The population results will be used to determine federating units’ share in federal resources, allocations and delimitation of National Assembly and provincial assemblies seats and determination of provincial job quotas.

Added Later : If in 13 Years i.e. 1998 to 2011 Clapistani Population Increased by 46.5% then in 6 Years i.e. 2011 to 2017 it will increase – basis Simple Interest – by 21.46%

Therefore, Clapistani Population in 2017 will be 197,361,691 X 1.2146 i.e. about 240 Million Clapistanis. Thus the Official Figure of 207.8 million is a Load of Cobblers!

Shehbaz Sharif wants to close the chapter on US aid
Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has responded to US President Donald Trump’s hard line strategy on Afghanistan and Pakistan, saying the nation must politely close the chapter on US assistance to save face.
“It is time for Pakistan to politely and gratefully close the chapter on US assistance so that the bilateral relationship can be freed from the shadow of contemptuous taunts…” the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader tweeted on Friday.
The Punjab CM reiterated that it was his “belief and article of faith” that the Pakistanis could get rid of aid, which harmed their self-respect
He concluded the thread saying we must learn to rely on ourselves to be able to alter the fate of the civilians and the nation.
Rejecting the “specific allegations and insinuations” levelled against Pakistan, the country’s civil-military leadership has insisted that scapegoating Pakistan will not help stabilise the war-ravaged country.

Raheel's "Big Danda" In His Meeting With Ganja And Bajwa's Seating Arrangement With New PM Abbasi Leaves No Doubt As To Who Holds Real Power In Pakiland

Bajwa-Abbasi meeting: Subtle change in seating arrangement points at huge change in Pakistan’s politics

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Army, the most powerful institution in the country, has been totally silent on the ouster of Nawaz Sharif from PM Office by the Supreme Court over corruption charges late last month. ( It was engineered by the Army thru its proxies in the Supreme Court and fauj pasand politicos like Imran But as actions speak louder than words, power dynamics seem to be changing now based on who’s sitting next to whom and where.
Today (Tuesday), newly appointed Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi met Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa for the first time days after he was picked by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership.
It was yet another meeting between the two most powerful men in Pakistan, but the seating arrangement was something ‘unusual’ or rather more than usual – as seen in past few months.
Many might wonder what had been wrong in the meetings between former PM Nawaz Sharif and incumbent COAS Gen Bajwa who were never seen sitting together side by side but only across the desk – unlike in Gen (r) Raheel Sharif’s tenure. Perhaps the new General is actually very low-key than his popular predecessor, but this has still nothing to do with the seating arrangement. At least Ganja "tried" to create an impression that he was the "boss". !
One may argue but civil-military relations in Pakistan haven’t been running as smooth as during the time Gen Sharif was holding Malacca Cane – the command stick. ( to let Ganja know that- with the Danda - he "means business" !) Although it was before Gen Bajwa that the Nawaz-government and the Army embroiled into the DawnLeaks scandal sending waves across the world, it was settled amicably soon after the current COAS, flanked by the DG ISI, called on the ex-PM in Islamabad just in time of the PanamaCase JIT formation.
Last month, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor had clarified that there was “no direct army involvement” in the Supreme Court-sanctioned joint investigation team (JIT) probing the Sharif family’s wealth in the Panamagate case.“The JIT was made by the Supreme Court. Two of its members belong to the Inter-Services Intelligence and Military Intelligence. It is a sub judice case, and it will go to court,” he had said in a press conference prior to the verdict. “There is no direct army involvement in the JIT,” he had asserted. “Political talk is in the political domain.”
For the sake of Echendee and optics, such a statement has to be made !
In 2015, Raheel Sharif’s popularity grew out of the barracks and spread across Pakistan, making him more popular than any politician including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan. The reasons for his popularity were not difficult to comprehend in times of rampant terrorism, insecurity, corruption and a general disappointment with politics. Gen Sharif is widely credited with improving security in the country in general and Karachi in particular. He is also hailed for launching an anti-corruption drive, mostly focused against politicians. It might be one of main reasons that General Sharif (not related to Nawaz Sharif) was seen sitting with the former PM in a position more balanced than that of the new commander-in-chief. Some conspiracy theorists of Pakistan have even speculated that Raheel had conspired "behind the scene" to oust Ganja , and that he will soon be seeking a political role in the murky politics of Pakistan
Well, now as Nawaz Sharif is gone for the third time in another ‘unusual’ fashion, also historical in many terms, PM Abbasi besides running a weak government has the delicate task of making civil-military relations durable. Perhaps a slight change in seating arrangement is the first of many steps ahead. He is a "caretaker PM" until an Army approved PM takes over !

    207.7 million.

That is how many Pakistanis there are in Pakistan.
    So claims the Pakistan government.
    http://abcnews.go.com/International/wir ... n-49419167

And we know it is BS because supposedly Punjab had a 3% decrease in population.
    https://en.dailypakistan.com.pk/pakista ... opulation/

Yeah, right. The "decrease" in Punjab's population is most likely fudged numbers to give some additional representation to the other provinces that are restive.

How we prevented Musharraf from speaking at our university in London
    Jaffer Abbas Mirza

On 21 August, we received an announcement on a WhatsApp group, stating that former Pakistani dictator General Pervez Musharraf would address students at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in three day’s time on August 24.As a student at SOAS, it was shocking to learn that a man who has been declared an absconder by courts in Pakistan for his refusal to stand trial on charges of suspending the Constitution and imposing emergency rule in the country, is one of the accused in the Benazir murder case, and who was "not prepared to concede to Balochistan's genuine economic and political demands," would step foot at a university known for its progressive ideals and student activism. So not everyone is "impressed" by this "bombastic Islamist" posing as a "moderate muslim"
From the poster, it would appear that the Pakistani channel Dunya News was the organiser of the event, and that the talk was to be recorded for Kamran Shahid’s show On the Front. Students were supposed to ask questions directly from Musharraf during the proceedings. SOAS Pakistan Society shared the event’s poster on their Facebook page, asking people to contact them if they wanted to register their names on the list of attendees.
The Society made it clear in its public communication that it did not officially endorse the talk. Though, the clarification came later and was not part of their original Facebook post.
A number of us belonging to the Pakistan Solidarity Campaign and the Awami Workers Party UK, along with Baloch and Sindhi activists, and other progressive students and academics at SOAS, immediately approached the university administration and the SOAS Student Union to obtain further details about the event.
In response to our emails, we were informed by SOAS that no room booking was made under Musharraf’s or the TV channel's name for August 24. It turned out that the space was booked by a Pakistani doctorate student, who did not share the details of the event with the administration.
The whole plan has now backfired !
Right away, we started a campaign ‘Dictator & Absconder Pervez Musharraf is not welcome at SOAS’ and initiated an online petition demanding SOAS to cancel the event. Hundreds of people signed the petition. Did RAA Agents facilitated the signing :D
Hundreds of emails were also sent to SOAS, prompting the university to eventually issue a notice on 22 August on its website, clarifying that “at no point was any such event discussed with SOAS or with the Students’ Union.”It’s highly unlikely that the university would have cancelled the event or withdrawn support. After all, SOAS has seen much bigger protests in the past and has not budged. In any case, Musharraf’s talk was not organised by SOAS and was an external event at the university premises. What did happen, however, was that our pressure successfully dissuaded the actual organisers from going ahead with the event at SOAS.
The organisers later claimed that they had to postpone the event, owing to the high number of registrations which made the venue at SOAS insufficient in capacity.
However, I think that this was a face-saving exercise. I firmly believe that it was our critical response to the event and the threat of protest that made the organisers retreat. Am pretty sure that it was an H & D setback plus "some financial loss" for Mush and his backers . Hope it sets up a precedent where this loud mouth Kammundu is not allowed to speak in support of Pakiland and the Paki Fauj

    Paki FO Talks Tough

India can't be a player in regional peace until it stops atrocities in Kashmir: FO
    The Express Tribuneabua

India is involved in grave human rights violations in occupied-Kashmir and as long as its forces are subjecting Kashmiris to atrocities, it cannot be considered a partner in bringing peace to the region, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said on Friday. :((
Zakaria said Pakistan was not under any compulsion to respond to US President Donald Trump’s accusations but the National Security Committee refuted them and it did so anyway.
He added that after a National Security Committee meeting, the PM House had issued a statement wherein all allegations levelled by the US against Pakistan had been rejected. the spokesperson noted that Pakistan had worked with the US and cooperated with the latter on several occasions.“We took indiscriminate action against terrorists and also took US senators to South Waziristan. The senators were satisfied with what they saw there,” he remarked. But then McCain made a volte face once he reached Kabul and "warned" Pakistan of serious consequences, if it continued in its double -faced policies
Speaking on Trump’s remarks, the spokesperson said the international community has already acknowledged Pakistan’s immense sacrifices, economic losses and unprecedented contributions to the global counter-terrorism efforts. Forgot to mention the " $ 100 Billion Dollar Loss" to Pakistan

Paki Veterans Now Enlisted To "Criticize" Massa

United States in Afghanistan to target China-Pakistan Economic Corridor: Veterans of Pakistan
Hand of RAA not ruled out. See below !
The US president has also ignored Indian agent Kalbhushan, who has confessed involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan. On the other hand, America has labelled the people of Indian held Kashmir as terrorists just because they are struggling for their rights granted by UN Security Council. The USA has never been happy with Pakistan’s nuclear programme, whereas it is going full throttle to support India’s nuclear programme. Kerry Lugar Bill and India’s inclusion in Nuclear Suppliers Group is a wide open example.

Timing of this "outcry" by Paki Veterans is interesting . POTUS getting "tough" on Pakiland is one possible reason !

Robin Raphael Enlisted As A Back channel Contact To Resolve - Paki-US Rift .

Pakistan, US in backchannel contact to resolve rift

WASHINGTON: While diplomacy between Pakistan and the United States is struggling, especially after President Trump’s highly critical speech, the two countries have established backchannel contacts to resolve their differences over key issues. Earlier this month a group of former diplomats, military officials and security experts from the two countries held their third off-the-record meeting in Washington to discuss thorny issues including Pakistan's support for Afghan peace, increasing US ties with Pakistan's arch-rival India, New Delhi's role in Afghanistan and Islamabad's drift toward Beijing after initiation of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
alking to The News after attending the talks, former Pakistan ambassador to the United States Jalil Abbas Jilani said the two sides are having frank discussion on issues and will prepare recommendations for the government for future of ties. He said the informal interaction aims at bringing private individuals and groups from the two countries to promote better understanding of issues and suggest solutions.Pakistan ambassador to the US, Aizaz Chaudhry welcomed the interaction. “Track II is not a substitute for official contacts but officials can benefit from the ideas generated,” he said.
Representatives from Pakistani side also included former head of Military Intelligence Lt Gen (R) Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad and former ambassador to Afghanistan Muhammad Sadiq while US side included former US assistant secretary of state Richard Boucher, former ambassador Robin Raphel and security experts Dr Tricia Bacon and David Smith. Indian Govt Officials should take due note of Robin Raphel's inclusion in this list !

Pakistan's standard line for India goes like: India has never accepted the existance of Pakistan

Looks like their new standard line for the US is: US has never accepted the Nuclear status of Pakistan

The reality is that no one has accepted the terrorist sponsoring by the Pakistani Army

Pakistan "Beats" Brazil ( In population onlee  )

Pakistan surpasses Brazil to become fifth-most populous nation

In March, the South Asian nation conducted its first population census in two decades, which was possible thanks to improved security after years of violence linked to al-Qaeda and Taliban militants. What is "normal" in other countries, becomes an "achievement" for Pakiland
Pakistan has surpassed Brazil to become the fifth-most populous country on Earth, as the southern Asian nation’s population has surged beyond 220 million people, the latest figures showed on Friday.
The figure came in much higher than the earlier estimate of around 200 million. It is in the interest of Pakistan to underestimate the actual population and to downplay the "breeding rate" of Aam Abduls and to show the world that procreation is not the only recreation for the Aam Abduls of Pakistan
Pakistan’s population has been growing at an average rate of 2.4 percent per year in the past two decades, despite efforts by the government to control the rapid increase in population, the data shows. “This is a surprising factor. The rate is much higher than estimates,” said Shakeel Ramay, a researcher with Islamabad-based Sustainable Development Policy Institute.. Ramay said, for a country like Pakistan with limited resources, such a huge population could become a burden if innovative policies are not made to turn the youth bulge into an asset. He added: “You got to have some policy framework to promote entrepreneurship to engage a sea of people. Otherwise, more individuals mean more consumption of resources.” . I.T. ( the other kind !) is a rich source of employment for the "youth bulge" of Pakiland !

2016 GDP = $283.66 Bn (not sure how their economy grew by 20% from 2010 to 2011) - lest assume this to be acceptable.
2016 population (remember this survey was done in 1Q2017) - 210 M (highly debatable figure but lets assume this to be acceptable for this analysis.
GDP per capita (end of 2016) = $1350 per momeen.

What sort of Phobia is that of a Hindu Kowtowing to the "Minority"?

Mamata Banerjee: No Durga idol immersion on Muharram

KOLKATA: With Muharram scheduled a day after Dussera this year, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday asked the people to cooperate with each other and not to fall prey to provocation leading to communal problems.

"Some quarters may try to instigate people to flare up communal tension and there are people who may try to take political advantage of this", Banerjee said while addressing a meeting of Durga Puja committees on Wednesday evening.

She asked, "Why should we take the blame because of some people who are trying to take political advantage?,"

Banerjee directed SPs in the districts to talk to Durga Puja committees and Muharram committees regarding holding of their rallies, and said that there would not be any idol immersion on October 1, on the scheduled day of Muharram.

"We will request all puja organizers not to hold immersions after 6pm on Dashami, September 30. No immersions will be allowed on October 1. As a concession, we will allow immersions till October 4. The Red Road carnival will be held on October 3," Mamata said on Wednesday.

The chief minister also asked the people not to pay heed to posts on social networking sites leading to communal disturbances.

"It is the latest trend. People are posting fake photos of incidents on social networking sites. People must be very cautious about this and remember that cyber crime is also a crime," she said.

Stressing that the administration would not let anybody disturb the secular atmosphere of the state, Banerjee said that police would take action in such cases.

"Muharram is not a festival we must keep that in mind. It's our responsibility. I have heard that some people have plans to disturb and drive people in a wrong path," she said stressing that the puja committees should play a "bigger role" in this context.

Rehman Malik writes an open letter to President Donald Trump

If the situation in Afghanistan is deteriorating coupled with frequent terrorist attacks against the US and Afghan personnel and installations despite the heavy presence of US and allied forces in Afghanistan and pumping of billions of dollars then the US Administration is advised to look for the causes and solutions inside Afghanistan rather than Pakistan. Afghanistan has, in fact, become hotbed of terrorism and the terrorist activities inside Pakistan are planned and executed from the soil of Afghanistan contrary to the claim made by you Mr. President.
we are a sovereign state which has always helped USA in this war hence, please do not lend your ears to the Indian Prime Minister Modi as he is inimical against Pakistan and kindly review Mr. Modi’s record being a terrorist having once banned to visit USA. He functions through RSS of India, which has a motto to inflict Pakistan at all forums. People of Pakistan will always support any strategy against the terrorists under your vision and we expect that this menace can only be finished with collective wisdom and collective common strategy at all levels to smash these terrorists.

And, this "open letter" must have gone through at least three or four internal edits and red flag checks before its release to the US. I will have to urge my representative to mark up this letter and send it back to the pakis so that they can re-release it to the general public.

Apparently this is not his first "free advice" letter to DT. Rehman chacha alludes to another recent editorial wherein he had advised DT as follows:

my earlier eight points advice sent to you on 19th May, 2017, wherein I had requested you to please take along the entire Muslim community to fight against few terrorists and you will have full support of Muslims against terrorists...

And here the reaction in the US House of Congress on that last round of advice:

Deposed Ganja Now Seeks Support Of Lawyers :D

Address at Aiwan-e-Iqbal: Deposed PM seeks lawyers’ support
    The Express Tribune

    LAHORE:
Deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the revolution the PML-N aims to bring is to change the destiny of the country, get votes respected and give people the right to elect and rule.
“The PML-N has decided to form a committee that will initiate a debate with politicians, lawyers, teachers, media-persons, business community, intellectuals and all others segments of society with an aim to change the destiny of our country,” said the deposed PM while addressing the PML-N’s Pakistan Lawyers Convention at the Aiwan-e-Iqbal on Friday So, it is a gathering of his party lawyers only . Public memory is short . Many Aam Abduls may not remember, but it was the same Ganja supporters who stormed the Paki Supreme Court in Lahore in 1998 . The late columnist Ardeshir Cowasjee has explained all this in his weekly column. So the same Ganja is now invoking the rule of law to stay in power  He said that people should participate in this grand debate like they did in the Tehreek-e-Azadi. “This debate is not to bring me back into power, but to give people the right to elect,” said Sharif while referring to the criticism of opposition parties, who termed the proposal to amend Articles 62 and 63 as Sharif-centric.
Reminding the lawyers that usurping a public mandate had once resulted in the country’s breakup, the deposed PM said this was not the first time that a former PM tried equating his disqualification with circumstances that resulted in the fall of Dhaka. No use crying over split milk . His Pakjabi brethren did not want to share power with the Bengalis !
“We need to find the cause of this disease that has corroded the country for the past 70 years,” he said, asking, “Why is mandate of the people always disregarded?” Once it had already resulted in the fall of Dhaka, he added. He said people suggested that Sharif never got along well with others, asking if it was just a problem with him, why any other PM had never been able to complete his full term. These questions should be posed to the fauj not the lawyers or the awaam
Sharif said despite the fact that his name was not in the Panama Papers, he immediately offered to form a commission under an honourable judge soon as the issue surfaced. He said he got no answer from the court despite a passage of several weeks, then on the demand of opposition parties, the government agreed to form a commission comprising three judges, but then the TOR issue was created, he added. He should just retire to his estate in Raiwind , play with the tigers, lions, and other animals and birds kept in his private zoo and "enjoy" the rest of his life

Manchester Based Paki, Aged 31 Years Jailed For Having Sex With A Girl Under Sixteen !

Shahid Ali, 31, of Manchester, 'took advantage' of 14 year-old Bradford girl after meeting her on Facebook

A MAN who plied a 14 year-old girl from Bradford with drink and drugs before having sex with her in a budget hotel has been jailed for more than five years. Shahid Ali, 31, met the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on Facebook, telling her he was aged 25. He pleaded guilty ahead of a trial at Bradford Crown Court yesterday to two charges of sexual activity with a child under 16, and a charge of perverting the course of justice. Ali was found not guilty of rape, after prosecutor Sophie Drake confirmed that no evidence was to be offered on that charge.
She told the court that the girl, who had told Ali she was 15, had various conversations on social media, with her telling him she was having problems at school.
The pair met in Bradford on a number of occasions with Ali travelling from his home in Cromwell Avenue, Whalley Grange, Manchester. Miss Drake said Ali and the girl would drink alcohol, smoke cannabis, and “kiss and cuddle.” The court heard that on March 27, the girl left her home in Bradford, telling her mother she was going to see a friend. When she had not returned by 10.30pm that evening, she was reported missing to police.Miss Drake said Ali had come to Bradford and gone with the girl back to Manchester, checking into the Ibis Budget Hotel in Salford. The pair drank vodka and smoked cannabis, with the girl admitting she had got “drunk and high.” While "their girls" are kept under burqa, nikab or hijab, underage "white flesh" is fair game under their "values"
Miss Drake said that Ali had sex with the girl without a condom, leading to the pair visiting a health clinic in Manchester the following day to get a morning-after pill. When the girl was spoken to by a doctor, concerns were raised to social services in Bradford. Ali was arrested later that day after the pair were traced back to the hotel. The perverting the course of justice charge related to attempts by Ali to contact the girl after he had been taken into custody. In a victim impact statement, the girl said that she now “found it hard to trust people”, and that Ali’s actions would affect any future relationships as “I am always going to think if they are like Shaz.”
Recorder Hill also issued a sexual harm prevention order against Ali, and ordered him to sign the sex offenders register indefinitely. Wonder if this depraved "Abdul" had a wife, sister or parents !!!

That reminds me exactly of how Liaquat Ali Khan tried the same trick of first going to Moscow (practically inviting himself to Moscow) as Washington had already invited Nehru but not him.

Khwaja Asif too has most likely invited himself to both Beijing and Moscow.
He is probably going to be waiting in the outer office forever at both places, before a two minute meeting with photo session.

It is the photo session that he is going there for, to show to people - both faujis and civilians, back home.

This is what Pakistan has been doing for the last 70 years

Pakistan's population surges to 207.8 million - PTI
Pakistan’s population has surged to 207.8 million, a 57 per cent spike since the last census in 1998, according to provisional census data released today.

Pakistan has 106.45 million males, 101.31 million females and 10,418 transgenders, the provisional data presented to the Council of Common Interest (CCI) shows.

Compared with the results of the fifth census, there was a 57 per cent increase in the population at an annual rate of 2.4 per cent. The 1998 census found that Pakistan had a population of over 132 million.

Pakistan’s population has risen to 207.8 million with an increase of 75.4 million people within 19 years, according to provisional summary results of the 6th Population and Housing Census 2017, the Express Tribune reported.

The CCI — the constitutional body headed by the prime minister with four chief ministers in the chair, approved the provisional summary results today. However, the final results will be available next year, the report said.

The sixth population census in Pakistan, conducted by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) earlier this year after a gap of nearly two decades, reveals an acceleration in the population growth rate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), even as growth in Punjab and Sindh has slowed compared to previous results.

The results show that 30.5 million people reside in KP, 5 million in Fata, 47.9 million in Sindh, 12.3 million in Balochistan, 2 million in Islamabad, while Punjab — the largest province in terms of population — houses 110 million people, Dawn newspaper reported.

An increase in the urban-rural ratio has been observed in all administrative units except Islamabad, which remains the second most urbanised unit in the Muslim nation.

Over 52 per cent of Sindh’s residents live in urban areas, which has surpassed the capital territory as the most urbanised territory of Pakistan.

Close to 36.4 per cent of Pakistanis live in urban areas, the provisional results reveal.

Balochistan, the least urbanised of Pakistan’s provinces, has experienced the fastest average annual growth rate since 1998 of 3.37 per cent.

Punjab’s average annual growth rate remained the slowest at 2.13 per cent, slightly below the national average of 2.4 per cent.

The provisional results exclude data from Gilgit Baltistan and Pakistan—occupied Kashmir, which is likely to be included in the final report {some cooking needs to be done to hide the forced changing of demography?} , the report said.

The census is likely to have important implications for the general elections, as constituencies are expected to be redrawn according to the newly-compiled results, it said.

The PBS had conducted the exercise in two phases across Pakistan under the supervision of the military.

    SSJi,

It seems TSP is grovelling at Trump's feet via back-channel. Given US has no love lost when it comes to its interests, what are the chances of the following:

    1. TSP will agree to go after Haqqani and Taliban and whatever other 'bad guys' that US wants it to, provided TSP's 'good Talib' puppets are in power in Afghanistan, and at best, India's role is that of a eunuch, giving all the economic goodies that even TSP might benefit, but absolutely no military/security role. And Trump agrees to impress this upon India.

    2. Trump agrees to TSP's pre-eminent and core demand that going after terrorists does not cover its operations in the Kashmir valley.

My feeling is that if Trump accepts the above, TSP will be on board to do whatever Trump wants it to do in AfPak.
