Re: Aircraft Recognition
^^^Difficult to notice details on either side when staring at the centre..
Re: Aircraft Recognition
It's a Mig 21, but that pilot suit is from Mig 25
Re: Aircraft Recognition
Slightly off-topic but HushKit is a delightful aviation site and though I am aircraft enthusiast since when William Green was in his 30s, I always flunk their quizzes. Some interesting questions such as the Top Scoring fighter Ace - who wore Spectacles???

Re: Aircraft Recognition
BTW that Sukhoi-7 profile pasted - didnt really serve with the IAF - we operated a slightly different version.. i will leave it for others to find out the tiny differences...[/quote]
Let me guess( with Wikihelp) - this is an earlier model of the Su-7B without being optimized for the strike role - we had the Su-7BMs which can be recognized by two parallel external fuel lines running along the spine on the top of the fuselage??

Re: Aircraft Recognition
^^ Googled for it.
Cluster CCW-5 I suppose. Channel wing. Theoretically it was suppose to be Vertical TO aircraft.

Re: Aircraft Recognition
Haha No issues sir
It is indeed that bird
Was supposed to be VSTOL bird
The amazing part was this - 'It was claimed that the aircraft could fly under control at 11 mph (18 km/h) and that it could take off with a 1,500 lb (680 kg) load at 70% power in 90 ft (28 m).'
