So first the Paki marries the Lithuanian women and gets EU citizenship and other associated benefits of being in Eurozone area and now will strategically use his daughters to push 3 other jehadis in Europe and that too legally. The way Pakis are infesting the continent (through Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Norway and Bartania), it is truly F*uc*ed.

US has wizened up and is restricting entry to the Pukis but Canada is freely infesting North America with the virus. Time for uncle Sam to disallow visa free entry to Canadians in the US.

FO condemns Bangladesh PM Hasina Wajid’s 'anti-Pakistan remarks'

The Foreign Office (FO) on Thursday condemned 'anti-Pakistan' statements issued by Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid earlier this week.

Wajid had, during a March 25 address, said that the people of Bangladesh "must respond to those who have been lost in their love for Pakistan".

"They must be punished. We must make them forget their love for Pakistan," she had said.

FO Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal during a weekly briefing in Islamabad today described Wajid's remarks as being against the spirit of the 1974 tripartite agreement.

Under the 1974 tripartite agreement, Dhaka had agreed not to proceed against those whom it had accused of ‘war crimes’ during the 1971 separation.

Relations between Islamabad and Dhaka have been deteriorating since 2009, when Hasina's government resumed the trial of 1971 'war crimes' that had been suspended after the 1974 accord between Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India.

Haraam Link : Mission Europe.
Most rely on contacts to find work as they wait for migrants to be registered in the hope of obtaining temporary and later, permanent stay.

Trafficker Mukhtiar Ahmed said it was relatively easier to do so before those fleeing conflict in the Middle East started flocking to Europe in droves. “Initially, policies were rather flexible. Now, Greece, France and the United Kingdom are particularly tough.”

He said Pakistani migrants typically found low-paying jobs across the agriculture and hospitality industries. They earn around €15 to €20 per day. Ahmed said many prefer to relocate to Italy and other Mediterranean countries in the wake of the Greek financial crisis.
Pakis talking of financial crisis in parts of europe to choose a country to migrate to. I guess even beggars (or even worse criminals and jehadis) can be choosers in Europe :rotfl: :rotfl:

Farhan Janjua
‏ @FarhanJanjua

It’s been nearly 2 months since #GEONews was taken off air on my office’s cable network which is @WCTLtd
Only now I’m learning that @geonews_urdu is being forcibly taken off air on multiple cable networks across the country! Totally unacceptable!

Geo News owned by the Jang Group and the Mir Shakeel Ur Rahman family has long been considered by the "Deep State" to be pro- Nawaz and therefore "Anti- State" and therefore subject to different threats etc etc . So, the English and Urdu (on air channels) versions of this channel has been subject to many pressures. Aam Abduls like Mr Janjua have no choice in this matter. They just have to lump it ! Larger interest of the "Deep State" are at stake here

First Political Fallout From Immy's Marriage To The Pakpattani Peerni

PTI suffers another setback as former MNA Ahmed Raza Maneka quits party
PAKPATTAN – President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Pakpattan chapter and former MNA Ahmed Raza Maneka on Saturday parted ways with the Imran Khan-led party. He announced this during a press conference in the city. Expressing his reservation with the leadership of the party, Raza said PTI Chairperson Imran Khan would never meet any local leader whenever he would come to Pakpattan. He was "courting" the Peerni during these visits ! The leadership is not aware of its team, the former MNA added.
Apart from being a former legislator and a gunslinger of Pakpattan’s political scenario, Ahmad Raza Maneka also has another affiliation with Imran Khan as the current wife of PTI supremo, Bushra Maneka, was once his sister-in-law. Bushra, the third better half of cricketer-turned-politician was once the wife of Khawar Farid Maneka, brother of Ahmed Raza. Nothing to say here but in Paki politics blood is always thicker than water. IMO, the Peerni should say "goodbye" to Pakpattan now! She will be Islamically lynched there

Failed Army Operation In Mastung, Balochistan . One Soldier Gets Killed :D

Pakistan Army soldier martyred killed ! in Mastung IBO( Intelligence Based Operation - another fancy buzzword )
RAWALPINDI – A Pakistani soldier was martyred on Saturday during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted on Balochistan Liberation Army’s (BLA) hideouts in Kabu area of Mastung, Balochistan, according to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). Sounds like a "botched" operation. If they admit "one killed", the true figures are probably more as the press is not allowed entry in that part of Balochistan. !
During the exchange of fire, one terrorist was also killed and two were injured, the ISPR statement said, adding that a large quantity of arms and ammunition were also recovered.
In August 2017, the army had announced an increase in its IBOs in Balochistan targeting BLA hideouts. Since then there has been a marked reduction in attacks on security forces. The press is not allowed entry in most places in Balochistan and therefore there is no way to verify these tall claims of the Paki fauj

Another Senseless Killing In Pakjab ! This Is Likely To Happen More And More In Pakistan !!!

Man kills five family members before committing suicide in Gujrat
GUJRAT – A man in Punjab province shot dead five family members before taking his own life in an apparent case of murder-suicide, according to reports in local media on Saturday. Mubashir, 45, shot and killed his seven-year-old daughter Manahil Emaan, six-year-old Fatima, three-year-old Zain, six-year-old Hashir and his sister-in-law Muqaddas in Gujrat’s Bhadar area. It is hard to put down the lid to such news in this day and age of 24/7 media cycle !
The accused’s mother and sister were also inside the house at the time of the incident but they escaped, police told Geo News.Mubashir, who was working as a guard for a private security company, shot the children, his sister-in-law and himself with the same pistol.
Neighbours said that Mubashir’s brother, Muddaser, moved to Dubai for employment purposes, leaving being Mubashir as the caretaker for his wife and children. Pakis are trying to leave the accursed land in droves . And by the way, the town of Gujrat is in the forefront of this "booming industry" of illegal immigration with the town specializing in country specific agents ( Canada, USA, Dubai, Spain,UK), shacks/ shops guaranteeing perfect "false passports, false ID cards, false visas - you name it , they have got it for a price
The accused was reportedly divorced twice and wanted to marry for the third time. Police said the motive behind the murders will be revealed once their investigation concludes.
Just over the weekend, a man in Gujrat’s Saraye Alamgir axed four of his children to death. Ayub, the accused, killed three of his sons along with his daughter in the Sayeen Dera neighbourhood. The victims have been identified as Amana, 12, Nadia, 10, Ayesha, 8, and Zeeshan, 3. So, it seems that this part of Pakjab is particularly vulnerable to such acts of senseless killings. The authorities should treat this a "ticking social time bomb " instead of spending their borrowed money on brand new military toys and building new motorways and metro systems !
On March 24, a similar incident took place in Lahore in which three children were strangled to death by their mother. The mother was arrested along with her friend. Paki authorities wake up

Re: "Get Hussain Haqqani" By Hook Or By Crook! Paki F.I.A In A Bind

FIA springs into action to obtain red warrants for Husain Haqqani
SLAMABAD – The Federal Investigation Agency has intensified efforts to bring back former ambassador to the United States, Husain Haqqani for which the authority is set to obtain red warrants. The supreme court, a few days back had issued directives to bring Haqqani back to Pakistan. The former envoy, who is in the US, is the main accused in Memogate Scandal.Following the Supreme Court’s directives, FIA has sought perpetual arrest warrants for Husain Haqqani, as such warrants would ease the procedure for obtaining red warrants. The director general FIA Bashir Memon would be heading to Interpol headquarters in Paris to attend a moot where he is expected to secure red warrants for the former envoy. The FIA previous attempts to "get" Altaf Bhai" of MQM via this Interpol route had ended in failure as well, with Altaf "spewing" and beaming over the world all sorts of TV and Radio "hate Pakjabi messages" from his Edgware Road London House. . Also, the respected Interpol Police is not in the business of going after Pakiland internal and domestic political enemies , so Memon's dash to Paris is a foregone failure, IMO :D
A senior official of FIA disclosed that the DG, after attending the conference, would proceed to the United States in connection with the same issue. In this times of Paki financial crunch , is it prudent of the FIA Honcho to spend money on these trips !
The officer, who wished not be to named, said owing to US citizenship of Haqqani’s wife, he might also have been holding American nationality which could obstruct his extardition to Pakistan. Of course, the "prudent and diplomatic" Hussain H. is not going to show off all his cards in this psychological game of "hide and seek" with the Paki Govt !
However, the DG FIA had assured the top court that a case would be registered in the US if Mr Haqqani refuses to return to Pakistan. Scotland Yard threw off the case against Altaf. So what are the chances of Massa collaborating with the Pakis on this "witch hunt"
The senior FIA official said that according to the standard operating procedure, the authority needed an arrest warrant issued by the court and other relevant documents to get red warrants from Interpol, Dawn News reported. The Deep State has probably started preparing a "false narrative" against Haqqani !
The apex court on Thursday issued an arrest warrant for Husain Haqqani and gave a 30-day deadline to the authorities to bring him back after which no excuse would be accepted. The Supreme Court should know that International Organizations like Interpol do not dance to Pakiland's demands
The top court had already directed Mr Haqqani to appear before the court in Memogate case but he did not show up. The Deep State should not hide behind the frocks of the "My Laards" of the Supreme Court ! They should not use the Paki Supreme Court to do their dirty work, just as they did with Ganja Sharif.
A US-based businessman Mansoor Ijaz brought the memo to light and it was alleged that the government had asked for help against the military in the aftermath of US raid that killed Al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden. On the other hand, Haqqani claimed innocence and denied having anything to do with the memo. The matter was taken to the Supreme Court by the then opposition headed by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz after which Haqqani had resigned as an envoy. Haqqani has been made the scapegoat by the Qadiani Mansoor , plain and simple . Besides he has got "powerful friends" in Massaland, who will "protect" him and will not allow him to be deported to the "Land Of The Pure"

Where There Is Smoke There Is Fire ! Where There Is Illegal Immigrants, You Will Find Pakis !

Pakistanis among 17 illegal immigrants die in bus crash in Turkey

Pakis are fleeing their homeland in droves . By hook or by crook.

PS: The web/ centre of illegal immigration, as per Vip ji's interesting article is the Pakjabi city of Gujrat and its surrounding area. In Pakistan, this city is well noted for counterfeit passports, counterfeit currency, counterfeit ID cards, counterfeit visas, counterfeit affidavit, hustling agents to do your bidding for the right price ! Would not be surprised if the above deceased, availed of the services offered by this notorious city of Pakiland

Pakistan’s embrace of jihadists influenced its world’s view: Husain Haqqani
PRINCETON – Pakistan’s former ambassador to the United States Husain Haqqani has asserted that Pakistani public must analyze how the country’s embrace of jihadists influenced the world’s view of Pakistan that now considers the country fragile
The former envoy unveiled his book at an event organized by the Center for International Security Studies at the prestigious Princeton University on Thursday and expressed his views on the progress of the country.
he diplomat expressed that Pakistanis are told about imaginary American, Israeli or Indian conspiracies and there is an outrage industry  ( Deep State is the "market leader" !) that keeps Pakistanis angry about perceived threats to Islam and their homeland.
“After seventy years as a country, which lost half its population and territory when East Pakistan became Bangladesh, it is time to think of Pakistan as a territorial state rather than an all-embracing religious cause,” opined the journalist-turned-diplomat.

The Paki Supreme Court wants to stop Haqqani before he offers the "poison for Pakistan" recommendation , in his new book above

Ummah Bro U.A.E Throws A "Feel Good" Meal Bone To ExPat Pakis

Pakistani Expats in UAE get a good news
31 Mar, 2018
DUBAI - UAE government has lifted the restriction it imposed two weeks back seeking the police character certificate (PCC) for Pakistan workforce.
“The withdrawal of the condition has paved the way for substantial export of manpower from Pakistan, as the process will now be free of any kind of impediment, and this will ultimately result in substantial surge in the remittances in the years to come.” Remains to be seen if the Pakis revert back to their "normal behaviour" or not ( ie. Can a leopard change its spot; can a dog straighten its tail. IMO, the "gesture" by the Emirates might be premature  )
Dubai is going to hold Expo 2020 at international level and is spending mammoth amount of $10 billion. For the construction of huge structure, Dubai needs the workforce from various countries.
When the UAE government had imposed the condition seeking police character certificate, the Indian government swung into action and geared its aggressive diplomatic efforts and managed to get the said restriction abolished. No comparison whatsoever between Indian Diplomats and Paki ( sorry to say INCOMPENT! ) Diplos
He said Indians know how to operate and no wonder their home remittances are touching $60 billion per annum; whereas, Pakistan’s remittances stand at $17 billion and if the government continues to remain inactive, then Pakistan will sustain the huge dent in the foreign exchange reserves.(Beggary/ Buggery from the Ashraf Ummahs towards the Miskeen Pakis  )
However, the UAE government has also provided the ease for Pakistani workforce by withdrawing the restriction and now the ball is in the court of Pakistani government. With all that is going on in Pakiland right now , I wonder if the Pakis have even noticed that the ball is in their court

Maulana Sandwich ( AKA Sami-Ul- Haq) Kept Out In The KP Province Cold By Fellow Pushtun Immy Khan Of PTI

Ticket to nowhere
K.K. Shahid
The alliance between the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Sami (JUI-S) and the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) might be on its last legs, if the noise coming from the former camp is anything to go by
JUI-S insiders claim that in the party’s next central committee meeting, the alliance with the PTI would be reviewed, with the senior leadership, including chief Sami-ul-Haq himself, unhappy with the “lack of results”. Imran, the Oxford educated Angolphile in bed with a Pashtun radical Mullah. Do his "friends" in high society London know of his personal friendship with the Akhora Khattack Taliban linked Seminary Head
The roots of the alliance go back to June 2016, when the PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government gave a Rs300 million grant to JUI-S affiliated madrassa Dar-ul-Uloom Haqqania. Another Rs270 million grant was approved in February along with cooperation over Senate elections in February. With a little "grease" from the Immy supported KP Govt, Sami's hopes were indeed high !
Party sources say that Sami-ul-Haq has been receiving “mixed signals” from PTI chief Imran Khan, and hence feels that he can no longer rely on the alliance. JUI-S insiders say that the PTI’s refusal to give their chief the ticket for the Senate election not only “breached the mutual understanding” between the parties, it also resulted in the eventual defeat for Sami-ul-Haq in the elections earlier this month. Politics makes strange bedfellows, but Immy cannot be seen sleeping in the same bed as the Pushtun Mullah !
However, the PTI leadership maintains that they had never promised a Senate ticket to Sami-ul-Haq and had only vowed support. “Perhaps Maulana Sami-ul-Haq has misunderstood the grant for Dar-ul-Uloom Haqqania or our political support for him,” a senior PTI leader says. “We never promised the party ticket to Maulana Sami and have fulfilled all our promises. The future course of action that we envision with the JUI-S is transparent and in front of them as well.” The Mullah was deceived. The Mullah will now seek revenge in keeping with the Pashtunwalli Code Of Coduct
However, the two parties might still have a future given that the JUI-S hasn’t joined the reincarnated Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), the five-party alliance spearheaded by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F). His fellow mullahs might not want him in their " cozy Islami party"
Even so, the noise within the JUI-S camp is that the party might go solo for the large part and will call off any formal alliances, leaving room for local adjustments where needed.“I don’t think they’ll call [the alliance] off,” believes Fawad Chaudhary. “[KP Chief Minister] Pervez Khattak is looking after the matter in Nowshera. He’ll manage this easily, without any issues.” So Sami and his party are left out in the (KP) cold, politically speaking !

The Art Of Eating Your Biryani And Your Aloo-Gosht With Your Nikab/ Burkha On In Front Of "Party Members"

From The Gossip Section Of Such Gup !
1. Newsmakers
The other lady who’s making “discreet” headlines is of course The Great Khan’s Peerni who puts in an appearance when The Khan’s friends and comrades are over for a meal, but never lifts her veil. Wonder how she lunches or dines or indeed sips her tea via the veil.

Is the Kaptaan feeding her with his own hands

2.In the making?
Bharwa ( Pimping) On Behalf Of The Ganja
Is there a deal in the making? A deal which is being brokered by the Premier, on behalf of the ousted Premier & Co? If so, it’s taken a beating of late, because the Premier has earned The Boys’ ire. His stock was on the rise until he appointed his business partner as our rep to Uncle Sam, without a by-your-leave from The Boys.
The old foggies at the Paki FO are up in arms at the blatant usurpation of their home turf by Abbasi. The Boys at the Deep State think that he is "taking" his role as Paki PM too seriously by appointing his "own man" in a pivotal post , so as rumours have it, he was dressed down ! And on top of that, the Paki Media had a field day showing him humiliated by US Immigration at JFK International

The Bajwa Doctrine Rears Its Ugly Head :D

Has Gen. Bajwa initiated ‘Operation Radd ul Media’ ?
There are widespread reports of Pakistan’s most watched TV news channel Geo being shut down in most parts of the country. Unlike others, Geo has refused to join the anti-civilian rule and anti-democracy propaganda currently common on Pakistan TV channels. But who can make hundreds of cable TV distributors jettison the most watched news channel with the flick of a finger?
This is the translation of the above
V anchor Kamran Khan says: “These days media is discussing the ‘Bajwa Doctrine.’ This is based on the ideas articulated by COAS Gen Qamar Bajwa in a briefing of three dozen media personalities in Rawalpindi. He spoke on the economy, foreign policy, judiciary, and even the size of Nawaz Sharif’s recent rallies. He declared a major media group as subversive.”
Other reports inform us that Gen Bajwa went to the extent of saying that he had ordered the closing down of Geo TV because he considered the Jang-Geo media group anti-army and subversive. If this is true, it is very troubling. It is not the Pakistan army’s job to sit in judgment in the patriotism of the media and to shut down ‘offensive’ media outlets.

Jang Group/ Geo News Counter Attacks In Response To The Deep State Attempts To Silence It !

Access to information is your fundamental right, keep watching Geo News
The Jang Group and Geo Television Network have always embarked upon the journalistic mission to not only furnish facts to the public in line with the principles encompassing the freedom of expression, but also to abide by what is enshrined in the Constitution of the country.
Pakistan’s Constitution and law guarantees the fundamental right of access to information to the citizens of Pakistan. Well and fine on paper and in theory. Not sure if it is practiced
The Jang Group requests its viewers/readers that if they cannot watch Geo News on their TV screens or if our channels have somehow been shifted from their original numbers, or if they are deprived of receiving their copies of Daily Jang or/and The News, they can lodge complaints at telephone number: 021-32271133 (daily between 9:00 am and 10:00 pm). Exercise in futility or is it going to make a difference ?
They can also register their complaints (text only) through WhatsApp or SMS on the following numbers: 0312-8802222, 0332-2197855, 0337-3160380. They can also email at [email protected]

This Attached Piece On (1) "Condom Promotion Ads " To Fight Rabbit Like Breeding Habit Of The Average Paki ,(2) Prevention Of Aids, Which Is On The Rise In Pakiland, (3) " Sex As Pleasure" Concept Which Is Alien To The Book , (4) The Use Of Social Media To Spread The Message Of Birth Control Rather Than The Message Of Islamic Piety, (5) The Rather Provocative Ads Of The "JOSH" Name Brand Of Imported Condoms (6) The subliminal Sexual Messages Of These "Disgusting" Ads . All Of These Are Sure To Leave A Very Bitter Taste In The Mouth Of Those Some Members Of The Mullah Brigade, Who Are Versed In English And Are Not Illiterate As Is The Usual Case
It is safe to say that the ads catered for the audience on the social media may never get clearance to be aired on TV. Josh has tried something different from traditional brands positioning their products as a tool to delay second pregnancy onwards ever since its launch in 2012. Its unique selling point as promoted in their ads has been the element of pleasure albeit strictly between married heterosexual couples. Anyone reading this would be surprised/ shocked that the message is being targeted to Islamic Abduls of Pakiland !

The Rotten State Of Affairs Prevailing At The Supposedly Most Premiere University In Pakiland, Exposed By A Relatively Sane Paki

A university self-destructs
Pervez Hoodbhoy
Dawn
MUCH has been said about the corruption of Pakistan’s politicians, generals, and judges. But large numbers of PhD professors (and the ranks below) are now out to give them stiff competition. While some still care for academic values — i.e., knowing their subjects properly and teaching them well — for many only the holy triad matters: pay, perks, and promotions. Is not the 3p's also one of the "premier political party" in Pakiland , headed by Dus Percenti
Rampaging protesters brought Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan’s purportedly premier university, to a virtual standstill for nearly four weeks. A mob laid siege to the administration building, attempted to manhandle the vice chancellor (VC) near his office, and disrupted the few classes then still being held. They prevented buses from collecting and dropping students, ignoring pleas from fee-paying students that classes be permitted. Goonda-gardi has always been an integral part of Paki Campus Life !
These were not just rowdy students. In fact, the protesters have PhDs (many from QAU itself) and are highly paid teachers. They arrive for ‘work’ in fancy cars, ( daddy is a big time jernail ; mother is a "high class" social activist  ) negating the time-honoured notion of the hopelessly underpaid, studiously engaged, fuddy-duddy professor with no time for anything other than his books. For nearly a month, these teachers have picnicked at public expense and that of their students, and are still vowing to keep their ‘struggle’ going until victory. Fortunately, they will actually have to struggle because dozens of other QAU teachers have refused to join the strikers. :D
But what exactly are the protesters protesting? A ‘white paper’ issued by the Academic Staff Association declares that it has a single point agenda — the removal of the VC. Indeed, it is almost time for him to leave — he has only a few months of tenure left anyway. But curious readers must ask why this unseemly rush. Refusal to bow to the VC's authority? The matter of the famous Echedee ? VC is a difficult taskmaster ?
Measured on a Pakistani scale, the white paper’s accusations are fairly bland. The VC is deemed incompetent, accused of lacking financial integrity and leadership acumen, etc. Unaware that they contradict themselves, the accusers say the VC has not taken “ownership of the university” but in the next breath complain he interferes in everything. The VC enforces the "rules". The teachers want to teach in a laissez faire environment. So, inevitably there is a built in conflict
The VC’s written rebuttal to these charges may or may not convince. But one fact glares out — the striking teachers do not demand a change in the university’s increasing bleak academic environment. Over the last 30-40 years the only thing that the ASA has done is to make every possible demand for enhancing the personal wealth and power of teachers. Teaching in a "powerful" union environment has its own advantage !
Past demands have included the outrageous proposition that the university’s land be gifted to teachers as their private property. The current ASA bitterly resists attempts to have professionals in the university’s administration, insisting that key administrative positions be reserved for teachers. In any other country these "demands" would be considered preposterous but this is Pakistan
At a collective level, the ASA has made no proposal for improving QAU’s pathetic teaching standards, ending the widely practised system of rote learning, or any other academic cause. Meanwhile, the new four-year BS programme stands abandoned because professors refuse to teach those classes, leaving this task for poorly paid visiting teachers. On violations of academic integrity by university teachers, the protesters are mum. And yet, well known across the campus, are countless examples of appalling behaviour: The University Admin is "obviously afraid" of rocking the boat and offending some higher up mother, father of the offending teachers !
Take department W where an influential professor of that very department manipulated things to get his son and student appointed as junior faculty. Ninety PhDs, some from good universities in Europe and elsewhere, had applied and 18 were shortlisted. But it turned out that advertising the position had been a mere formality; the outcome had long been pre-decided. A good example of the sifarish factor which is an endemic problem in Paki society . Competency for the job be damned . You play the favour card at the right time !
Or take department X. A different ethnicity means you cannot get a job there. How else to explain that almost all its faculty members are from the same province and share the same ethnic background? Pakjab for the Pakjabis
As for department Y: to be welcomed on to its faculty you had to belong to the right religious sect. Earlier appointments had in fact reflected this fact but then the other sect — which happens to be the majority sect in Pakistan — couldn’t take it anymore. So, the Followers of Ali,for a change (!) ruled the roost in Department Y
In department Z it’s a bit different. A particular candidate was judged to be clearly superior in relation to all others. But a call from ‘above’ — i.e., from the agencies that supposedly protect Pakistan — said he must not be promoted because of his anti-establishment views. So, Deep State has got its fingers in Pakistan's "supposedly premiere institution" also
Had principled behaviour been a consideration, the above examples would instantly have generated outrage. But only greed and personal benefit explains the present upheaval.
It so happens that some time ago, certain influential teachers had strong-armed the administration — mostly in the previous VC’s term but also more recently — into granting them massive salary increments. Auditors eventually declared these excess payments illegal and the Higher Education Commission refused to foot the bill, demanding instead that excess amounts be returned.
No way! Instead, these professors — again through the ASA — forced the university to pay and caused student fees to rocket upward. Unaware of the real reason, students directed their anger at the administration. An average teacher’s salary amounts to roughly 10-15 times what they pay to their domestic servants. Some strings were pulled behind the scenes - some favours called in, the sifarish factor again, and the decision was settled in favour of the guilty party. No wonder, the students are outraged ! Unlikely that this could happen in any other civilized university
Other Pakistani universities are in no better shape than QAU, some decidedly worse. But QAU in Islamabad is supposedly Pakistan’s flagship university. It is located barely two miles from the seat of government. What happens here is watched widely across the country.
The writer has taught physics at Quaid-i-Azam University since 1973. ( Hoodbhoy himself might have been the victim of some of these shenanigans himself !)

Immy the dimmy's (yet another) mahdiesque promise.

Will create a Madina-like welfare state after elections win, says Imran
“A Madina-like welfare state will be established in the country after winning the general election this year,” the PTI chief pledged. (mein kasam khata hoon!)
He claimed that 55 per cent of Punjab’s budget had been spent on the provincial capital alone. “This amount is three times that of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa budget,” he said.
Women delivered babies on roads, people died without medical aid and food, he added.
In the New Madina, all this will be non existent. Hail the new mahdi!

Wishing minorities security, everyday
It is not enough for Pakistani politicians to wish the country’s minorities a Happy Easter or Christmas or Diwali or Holi.
And this is the problem with democratic Pakistan today. Instead of standing up to the religious right that spews nothing but bigotry — it plays along.
From funding controversial madrassas that produce new generations of extremists under the false banner of how these, too, are ‘our’ children.
Unless and until the illegitimate right of the state to declare who is and who is not Muslim is done away with. Unless and until the Punjab government, say, cracks down on those who see fit to put up posters saying no Christians are to be buried in particular graveyards. Or takes punitive action against those who signal that their businesses do not welcome Shia customers.
it is not sufficient for Pakistan (or any country) to declare itself a democracy and have it so.
So, forgive us if we refrain from wishing the country’s Christians a Happy Easter. The best we can do is hope they make it through another day.

some truth about bious baki mentality

excerpted
Faiz Ahmed Faiz wrote a remarkable essay on Pakistani culture in which he said arts like singing, music and acting are practised here the way youngsters smoke — hiding it from their elders. There is an implicit understanding among the elders who know they are smoking, but will not say anything as long as it isn’t done in their presence. Similarly, people can dance, sing and act in Pakistan as long as they do not seek public support for it.
and
To me, the problem is that one does not find a middle-class Muslim man living in Pakistan who is accepting of the performing arts as a respectable and dignified means of creative expression

Pakistani PM to leave for China
BEIJING : Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will visit China next week to attend Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), a high profile platform, an initiative of the Chinese government for promoting regional connectivity in the economic sector. His presence at BOAO will be reflective of Pakistan’s growing socio-economic partnership with China and other regional countries, diplomatic sources said here on Sunday. IMO, the "real purpose", is the "beggary trip", in view of Pakistan's precarious reserve currency situation ! The attendance at the Forum is secondary

A woman, who was believed to have been murdered by her husband eight years ago, was arrested after she surfaced this week with her second husband and six children in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
During the last eight years she gave birth to six children in Dubai, police said, adding the couple and their children have returned to Pakistan after Ahmed ended up jobless there.

Bajwa "Reprimands" Puppet PM Abbasi On Paki Day Parade ; Which Shows Who Is The Real Boss In Pakiland.

VIDEO: COAS General Bajwa clipped on camera asking PM to follow Pakistan Day parade protocol
ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa was caught on camera ‘instructing’ Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to follow due protocol as the civil-military bigwigs inspected the military parade in Islamabad.
...when the military chief directed Premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to stand up as a gesture of respect in honour of contingents of Jordanian troops.
The video, stumping the internet, showing the Chief of Army Staff, President Mamnoon Hussain, PM Abbasi, SriLankan President Maithripala Sirisena and other officials on the inspection stand has stirred laughter among social media buffs, with many raising concerns about the civil-military imbalance. It is noteworthy that Premier Abbasi had followed the protocol by standing up, in honour of contingents that had marched prior to the Jordanian troops. IMO, this caretaker PM ( in name onlee) was a reluctant attendee. His PM role has been confined to being the "fauji errand boy ", trips to Massaland and Cheen ; sent by the fauj for beggary purposes ( to Cheen ) or to explain the fauj's perfidy in FATA and Afghanistan to the US masters

"Hot" Ramzan Awaits " The Faithfools" Of Pakiland :D

Weather forecast for Ramzan 2018
APRIL 1, 2018
*KARACHI*: An extremely hot and dry weather will prevail across the country during the month of Ramzan , said a Met Office official on Saturday.
Mangla and Tarbela dams are at a dead water-level, but the things will get better with the melting of glaciers in April and May; however, that would not be enough to fulfill the water needs. Being April 1, hope it is just a April fool's day joke for the faithfool namazis  . Apart from the "hot weather", also expect tempers to rise, prices to rise, political climate to rise, economic hardships to rise.

Charter of economy

Never in our chequered financial history have we had a trade deficit of $35 billion. Never in our chequered financial history have we had a current account deficit of $15 billion. Never in our chequered financial history have we had a budgetary deficit of Rs2 trillion plus.

Red alert: Pakistan’s gross financing requirement stands at a colossal $26 billion. According to Bloomberg, “Pakistan is depleting its dollar reserves at the fastest pace in Asia and may soon have a buffer that’s smaller than Cambodia, an economy that’s less than a 10th of its size.”

Over the past 48 years, Pakistan’s ‘elite democracy’ has had 10 elections. According to census 2017, there are 30.2 million families in Pakistan, With Ten Members Per Family the Terroristani Population is 302 Million! and of these 30.2 million families 1,174 families routinely take part, over and over again, in elections and continue to occupy 1,174 seats in the Senate, National Assembly and provincial assemblies. Pakistan’s elections, in essence, are an intra-elite competition. And the economy is what matters to the other 30.2 million families.

In 2006, Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto signed the Charter of Democracy in order to protect their personal and party interests. Why can’t all the major political parties sit together and agree upon a ‘core economic agenda’? Why can’t all the major political parties sit together and draft a ‘Charter of Economy’? For the sake of 30.2 million families.

We all know that our democracy is ‘exclusive’ and that our economic institutions are ‘extractionary’. Elections in 1970, 1977, 1985, 1988, 1990, 1993, 1997, 2002, 2008 and 2013 have established a ‘narrow elite that has organised society for its own benefit at the expense of the vast mass of people. Political power has been narrowly concentrated, and has been used to create great wealth for those who possess it’. The losers have been the 30.2 million families.

We all know what is wrong with us. All our economic institutions are reverse Robin Hood – rob from the poor and give to the rich. Our budgets are reverse Robin Hood – rob from the poor and give to the rich. Our regulatory agencies are reverse Robin Hood – rob from the poor and give to the rich. Our taxes are reverse Robin Hood – rob from the poor and give to the rich. Yes, the poorest of the poor Pakistanis are being burdened more and more as the government fails to collect taxes from the rich. That is a classic case of ‘reverse Robin Hood’.

In 2008-09, the PM Office swallowed Rs600,000 a day every day of the year. Today, the PM Office costs Pakistani taxpayers Rs2.5 million a day every day of the year. In 2008-09, the cabinet division swallowed Rs4 million a day every day of the year. Today, the cabinet division costs Pakistani taxpayers Rs15 million a day every day of the year. In 2008-09, the President House swallowed Rs1 million a day every day of the year. Today, the President House costs Pakistani taxpayers Rs2.5 million a day every day of the year. That - Gentle Readers - is Twenty Million Terroristani Rupees in a Day i.e. 7.3 Billion Terroristan Rupees a Year and Rising!

In Japan, a dozen prime ministers have come and gone over the past two decades. But, the charter of economy stayed intact. Can’t the PML-N, PPP and PTI sit together and write-up a ‘Charter of Economy’? IN A WORD : NO!

X Posted on the Indus Water Treaty Thread

Kharif crops likely to suffer due to severe water shortage

ISLAMABAD : With up to 60 per cent water shortage at rim stations, the upcoming Kharif crops face a serious challenge.

The situation is compounded by less water availability in two major reservoirs — Tarbela and Mangla dams – that hit dead.

The water crisis caused by climate change not only posing a threat to the Kharif crops, it also led to a drop in hydel generation to an alarming level, causing elongated loadshedding across the country.

The total hydel generation dropped to 1,050 megawatts (MW) due to cut in water releases from dams against the installed capacity of 7,000MW.

At present, Tarbela is generating 325MW and Mangla, 200MW.

Keeping in view the shortages in the system, Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Sunday decided to close downstream water releases from Chashma for Punjab with immediate effect.

Irsa Spokesperson Khalid Rana said, “So from April 4, Taunsa Panjnad Link Canal will be closed.”

“Today, shortages to Punjab and Sindh have increased to 60 per cent at rim stations," the spokesperson added.

The Irsa advisory committee that met on March 29 had projected 31 per cent water shortages in early Kharif during the sowing season due to higher losses and less water inflows into rivers.

Punjab and Sindh would face 31 per cent water shortage. However, Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa have been exempted from water shortage during the Kharif season that lasts from April 1 to November 30. Rice, sugarcane, cotton and maize are some of the key crops of the season.

However, against the projection of 31 per cent water shortage for early Kharif, the shortages have reached to an alarming level of 60 per cent at a time when the Kharif crops’ sowing season is about to start.

Due to less water releases from dams, farmers would be depending on groundwater.

Pakistan Metrological Department and Wapda representatives also informed the meeting that the country had received 50 per cent less snow in catchment areas.

Moreover, Irsa decision to cut water share of Punjab and Sindh is also related to less water inflows from rivers.

The water share of Punjab was reduced to 26,000 cusecs from 29,000 cusecs, and that of Sindh to 17,000 cusecs from 20,000 cusecs.

“Still running with a discharge of 2,000 cusecs, Irsa will decide about CJ on Monday (today),” the spokesperson said, adding, “Temperatures at Skardu touched 20 degrees, the flows have yet to increase which is quite alarming.”

“However, the situation will clear in the next 48 hours,” he said, adding, “Water shortage would also definitely have a bad impact on hydel generation as Tarbela and Mangla dams are still at dead level.”

“The Irsa recorded water inflow of only 44,000 cusecs today, compared with an inflow of 123,000 cusecs last year,” Rana said, adding, “Last year, Skardu temperature was 16.7 degree and discharge was 27,600 cusecs. Today, temperature is 20.6 degree but the discharge level is 17,000 cusecs.”

The country had witnessed less water availability for the Rabi crops from October 1, 2017 to March 29, 2018.

Total water shortage had been anticipated at 33 per cent during Rabi corps. The total water availability was estimated at 36.17maf, but it remained at 24.06maf.

Punjab was estimated to face 35 per cent, Sindh (34 per cent), K-P (26 per cent) and Balochistan (7 per cent) water shortage during the entire Rabi season.

Is Baj Bahadur going to Bajao his Band against Ahsan Iqbal?

Piling up weapons useless unless country economically strong: Ahsan Iqbal

Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said the accumulation of weapons is useless unless the country is not economically strong, Express News reported.

Speaking to the media in Narowal, Punjab on Sunday, Iqbal stressed the need of an improved economy to battle competition in the region and world.

The Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) leader emphasised that if political instability causes the economy to crash – a burden of which investments may not survive.

Reminiscing the ruling party’s start of tenure, he said the world viewed Pakistan as a dangerous country few years earlier. “We were given charge of a miserable situation due to the corruption of Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari,” he claimed.

“Despite inheriting issues pertaining to terrorism and load-shedding, we cultivated a path to development for the country,” the minister said.

He also highlighted that CPEC had become a reality during the current tenure. “Pakistan is now being termed as a rising economy.”

Iqbal said that development projects worth billions of dollar were employed in the country as he reminded the nation that their vote held power to decide Pakistan’s future.

Urging masses to vote for the continuation of positive policies, the federal minster warned that the success achieved in the last five years will go in vain if there is a change in power.

He warned that the weakening of current government may prove to be a noose on the neck. Iqbal claimed that elements antagonistic to the country’s progress were hatching conspiracies against the PML-N.

Javed Hashmi Nay Bajwa Ka Baaja Bajaa Diya!

Army should not indulge in politics: Javed Hashmi

MULTAN : Veteran politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has advised the army’s public relations arm to “avoid involving itself in civil affairs”.

Institutions should not be turned into political parties,” Hashmi said while talking to senior journalists at his residence.

Bitterly criticising the Bajwa Doctrine, the seasoned politician from southern Punjab said it was not the army chief’s business to give doctrines.

“Doctrines are given by philosophers,” he said, and posed a question, “Where on earth this doctrine of army has come from?”

“Protocol demands that the army chief should not speak on the issue of postponement of the general elections.”

Hashmi, while praising the army, said, “Pakistan Army is one of the most organised and mighty institutions in the country,” adding, “It can save the country from any ordeal.”

He said the army is the savior of the country, and added the institution should not indulge in politics. “I ask the army to go to their barracks and safeguard country’s borders.”

Hashmi claimed that some powers were trying to manipulate to delay the general elections.

“But they have to retreat under public pressure,” he said and added, “Now, the general elections will be held on time.”

He, however, cast doubt over the fairness of the general election, citing alleged rigging and manipulation in the Senate election, terming them a “trailer of the main movie”.

He said tactics applied in the Senate election would be repeated during the formation of the next government.

“The next government will be formed under the same pattern applied in the recently held Senate election.”

Hashmi also ruled out imposition of judicial or military martial law in the country, saying the “international situation is not supportive of any kind of martial law”.

“There is no room for imposition of judicial or any kind of martial law.”

He also deplored the political situation in Balochistan, saying, “It is very pathetic to see the biggest province always deprived of democracy.”

He said that the chief justice had made his meeting with the prime minister complicated.

“The chief justice should get his institution respected through his conversation,” he asserted.

He said whoever made the claims to end loadshedding have to answer the people now.

Body Of 7 Year Old Missing Girl Found ! Raped, Strangled And Her Body Left In A Farming Field Near Faisalabad

Bruised body of 7-year-old girl found in Faisalabad
A protest erupted in Faisalabad's Jaranwala tehsil on Monday after a minor girl was found murdered — allegedly after being sexually assaulted — in a field a day earlier.A large number of civil society activists, area residents and relatives of the victim took part in the demonstration and forcibly closed shops in Jaranwala. Many lawyers boycotted court proceedings to take part in the protest. Might be a "serial killer" on the loose !
Police were called in to control the situation after the protesters resorted to vandalism. They raised slogans against the police and charged at a bus of Punjab police with sticks. The funeral prayers of the 7-year-old girl were attended by hundreds of residents at Kachery Chowk.
After an hours-long search, the girl's body was found in an agricultural field near Hafiz Garden. He said the girl had bruises on several parts of her body. She was found without her clothes and had a dupatta (scarf) around her neck which was allegedly used to strangle her.
On Saturday, people from different walks of life including teachers, students and civil society had staged separate protest demonstrations on the second consecutive day against what they said police failure to arrest the killer(s) of a female student of Government College University Faisalabad.
The student of MA English was abducted a week earlier and her body was recovered from a canal. According to doctors, she was subjected to rape and violence before being strangled to death.Since the beginning of 2018, there has been a marked upsurge in the reporting of sexual abuse cases across Pakistan. The brutal rape and murder of Zainab Ansari in Kasur earlier this year in particular shocked the entire country, with #JusticeforZainab becoming the rallying cry in a nationwide drive to end violence against children. Wonder if the Aam Abduls , hooked on the opium of Malsi, still "buy" the argument of the Mullahs that all these things are happening because , people are not following Malsi according to The Book . And Islam and more Islam is the "answer" to such heinous crimes
