THE PROPANGANDA AGAINST MANZOOR PASHTEEN STARTS RIGHT NOW !

Propaganda by @manzoorpashteen and PTM. Sharing pictures from Iran, Afg and US, and calling it FATA, then blaming Pakistan Army for attacks by Taliban. Disappointed. We believed this was a genuine movement to seek justice for Naqeeb and rights for FATA. Lies won't sell for long.

Paki Man Victim Of "Pakistaniyat" By Own Countrymen

Pakistani man ‘raped 50 times by 18 roommates’ in Turkey
ISTANBUL – Turkish authorities have held 18 men of Pakistani origin in Istanbul for allegedly raping and blackmailing another countryman, the local media reported on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old victim, who was living with the men in the same house in Istanbul’s Bahçelievler district, has been trying to get by through paper collecting and recycling on the streets, according to Hurriyet Daily News. Two of his roommates, who are also relatives, allegedly took nude photographs while he was taking shower back in March 2017. They then started to blackmail him with the photographs, demanding sexual intercourse with him. So, they wanted to "try Pakistaniyat" ( AKA Bacha Baazi ) on him in Turkee
The Prosecutor’s Office is demanding 12 years in jail for nine suspects on charges of “sexual assault” and up to one year in jail for seven other suspects on charges of “actual bodily harm.” Up to five years in jail are also for all suspects on charges of “coercion.” Not sure if "Sharia" is existent in Turkee or not !
After he refused to have sex with them they reportedly shared the photographs with 16 other men, while also threatening to share the pictures on social media. Pakistan and Turkey enjoy "excellent" relations on Govt to Govt level . No rumours yet on any Bacha-Baazi kind of "recreational activity" as of date between the two nations . "Bacha- Baazi" is a favourite "male sport" in both countries
Pakistanis in Turkey refers to a small community consisting mainly of expatriates and students. Around 800 Pakistani students are studying in Turkey. There are also a large number of long-term and short-term economic migrants from Pakistan in Turkey who often intend to cross into the European Union. Turkey is a "favourite transit stop" for Paki illegals on their way to greener pastures in Europe, where they are getting a "good reputation" on the science and art of "Pakistaniyat"

Depression Claims Life Of Gujranwalla Deputy Commissioner !

Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala Sohail Tipu committed suicide, confirms forensic report

LAHORE – A forensic report regarding the killing of Deputy Commissioner Gujranwala Sohail Tipu confirmed that the bureaucrat committed suicide in his home, putting an end to the speculations that he was murdered. The forensic report is compiled by a five-member team, headed by regional police officer Multan Idrees Ahmed after completing the investigation and it is expected that the findings would be forwarded to chief minister Punjab on Tuesday (today) The "western" disease of suicide and depression is slowly making its entrant into Islami Pakiland . Another example of a senseless death, which is being reported more and more by the Paki press . Diagnosis and treatment of such non-physical "modern" diseases is virtually non-existent in Pakiland due to lack of education and the "hogging" of funds by the Military Establishment. Such vital social functions, including education and health are the responsibility of foreign NGO's , foreign governments and UN Agencies. The Govt of Pakistan has virtually washed its hands of these responsibilities .
Tipu’s body was found at his residence in Gujranwala last month. Initial reports suggested suicide as the cause of death, however, what set tongues wagging was the fact that he was found hanging from the ceiling fan with his hands tied behind his back.
Tipu was survived by three daughters and a son. He was appointed deputy commissioner on December 11, 2017, after he served at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

NSA Jangua Talks "Good Cop" With Indian High Commissioner In Isloo

Dialogue only way forward to resolve Pak-India disputes: Janjua tells Indian HC
ISLAMABAD – The National Security Adviser Lt. General (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua has said that the process of dialogue is the only way forward to resolve disputes between Pakistan and India.“It is by way of peaceful resolution of our disputes which can enable both the countries to belong to the future,” he said while talking to the Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria who made a pre-planned courtesy call on him in Islamabad on Tuesday. Hurting at the LOC  Feeling pressure from Massa  Hard to tell !
Nasser Janjua expressed serious concerns over the ongoing human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir.“Pakistan is deeply committed to the cause of Kashmir and supports to resolve this issue politically and according to the aspirations of Kashmiri people,” he said. Code words for "Give Kashmir to us"
The Indian envoy acknowledged that Pakistan and India definitely need to improve their bilateral relations, and said: “both Countries have immense potential to improve the relationship, and cater to each other’s needs”. This is diplomatese nothing else !

Maulana Diesel ( Who Still Has A Soft Corner For Ganja ! And Is A "Dushman" Of Imran Khan !) Accused Of "Shirking His Work" On Kashmir Committee !

Rs 55 crore Kashmir Committee "Missing in Action"
*ISLAMABAD:* With the entire nation condemning the bloodbath in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK), Parliamentary Special Committee on Kashmir and its Chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman appear nowhere to be seen.Mandated to espouse the cause of Kashmiris and express solidarity with them, the present Kashmir Committee comprises nominees of almost all major political parties, representing the whole nation, to highlight the atrocities committed on Kashmiris. The Maulana , who had been anointed to be " Chairman" Of the "Powerful" Kashmir Committee, due to his wheeling and dealing status is being very discretely criticized here by this sarkari paper ! In Pakiland, whenever you want to criticize a Maulana, you have to be "careful" in your use of the language. This is the case here, IMO
This is, however, not the first time that Fazlur Rehman has failed to highlight the plight of Kashmiris – the task for which he is being remunerated millions each year from the national exchequer.Parliamentary Special Committee on Kashmir met only eight times since 2013. This is how Diesel ( and other maulvis ) work . Take him or leave him . He has a "special talent" for latching with the right cause and the right politico :D
They said that the prized post of committee chairman is being used as a political bribe for the past ten years to win the support of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) – whose chief is Fazlur Rehman – by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), despite the fact that Fazl has almost been indifferent to the cause of Kashmir . The pay is good for Fazl and his sycophants, minions and hanger- ons . And Ganja needed his political support. So, what is the problem then
Fazlur Rehman was conspicuous by his absence once again in 2017 when the country’s Parliament hosted an international seminar over the Kashmir issue attended by world parliamentarians and scholars, but he was nowhere to be seen. Also, Chairman Fazlur Rehman failed to convene a diplomatic conference on the IoK despite the announcement by the committee last year. Fazlul Rehman has ties to the Deobandi Maulvis in India. And takes his "Islamic cues" from his HQ there . Is it possible that in his heart of heart, he does not believe in the " Pakistan's cause in Kashmir "
According to sources, the Kashmir Committee only met once during the entire year, though a joint session of the Parliament was convened after the committee failed to deliver. ( failed to deliver what  )
Sources further said that the official budget for Kashmir Committee is Rs550 million per year. On the other hand, the chairman enjoys the perks and privileges equal to a federal minister and has been provided with a furnished house in the Ministers’ Enclave.Besides that, a grade 20 officer works as secretary of the committee to assist the chairman. The "story" of Fazl (aka Diesel) is a capsule of Pakistani politicos in general . Available for sale to the highest bidder. Drinking at the "public trough" as long as possible . Shirking the work ( in his case, the "prestigious Kashmir Committee" !) assigned to him . Wheeling and dealing with other Paki Islamic luminaries to maintain his standing in the Islamic Brigade . Playing "dalaal" between Ganja and Dus Percenti to bring unity between the two ( he has also served Dus Percenti's late wife Bibi in an previous political incarnation  ). Now with Ganja out of favour, he has to start worrying where the next meal is coming from . This is only the first of the farticles demonizing him

Nuclearisation of Indian Ocean pushing Pakistan, India closer to war: report

Image

The acquirement of nuclear-armed submarines by Pakistan and India has increased the chances of a destructive war between the two countries, reported Vox.

Islamabad has publicly stated that the decision to arm Pakistan Navy with nuclear submarines is a direct response to New Delhi, which announced the deployment of its first nuclear submarine, in August 2016, according to the American news website.

In theory, the presence of nuclear missiles on submarines had made any war between the two adversaries potentially unwinnable, and ultimately, futile, the US-based news website underlined.

As Pakistan and India have now achieved completion of the nuclear triad, both have the capability to strike each other by land, air and sea. In the event of a nuclear war, the submarine is traditionally considered the ‘safest’ bet, as it can survive a first strike by the enemy, and retaliate effectively.

Pakistan and India are arch enemies and bilateral relations between the two countries have been uneasy at best ever since becoming independent in 1947. More recently, they have also been locked in a nuclear arms race.

Vox notes that as the race spirals over into the Indian Ocean, the number of atomic weapons on the sub-continent is increasing, the chain of command and control over these weapons is at risk of being loosened, and they are now being placed in an environment where things can go horribly wrong.

“The nuclearisation of the Indian Ocean has begun,” Zafar Jaspal, a nuclear security expert at Islamabad’s Quaid-e-Azam University, told Vox. “Both states have now crossed the threshold,” he added.

The report has compared the situation in South Asia to the nuclear standoff on the Korean peninsula, although it admits that Islamabad and New Delhi have managed to avoid international scrutiny over their nuclear programmes. It has also warned of a nuclear conflict arising from a surprise attack, as inexperienced officers control atomic weapons in contested waters.

Accidents, mishaps and attacks

According to Vox, United States, Russia, China, United Kingdom and France all have nuclear-armed submarines that are also powered by nuclear propulsion. They can travel underwater, virtually undetected, for months, limited only by the availability of food for their crew, for which they have to come to the surface.

Pakistan, Israel and India, on the other hand, have nuclear-armed submarines that are powered by diesel-electric engines. Compared to the elite class of hardware owned by major world powers, these tend to make a lot more noise, and can only stay submerged for two weeks at most. These submarines are, therefore, easier to track.

Image

Vox further reported that despite spending billions of dollars on the Arihant, India came close to a colossally embarrassing disaster when a hatch on the submarine was left open and seawater flooded the propulsion compartment. The Indian Armed Forces blamed a ‘human error’ for the mishap, and the defence ministry tried to ‘hush-up the whole incident’.

In a startling revelation, the American website claims that even the political leadership in India was kept in the dark about events surrounding the incident.

The Hindu later reported that the submarine was undergoing ‘extensive repairs’.

The US-based news website also highlighted that another Indian nuclear submarine is sitting dry in the dock after ‘an unspecified accident’ damaged sonar equipment on it. INS Chakra was on loan from Russia, and Moscow has already billed India US$20 million for repairs.

Pakistan has also announced that it has successfully tested a submarine-launched cruise missile which has the ability to carry nuclear payloads and is in the process of putting nuclear-tipped warheads onboard its French-built nuclear submarines.

It has also reached a deal with China to buy eight more diesel-electric attack submarines that can be equipped with nuclear weapons. These are scheduled for delivery in 2028, according to Vox. Islamabad has also signalled its willingness to put nuclear missiles on surface vessels, as it moves away from a doctrine of ‘minimum credible deterrence’ to ‘full spectrum deterrence’.

Command and control

Putting nukes in the hands of officers at sea weaken the chain of command and control over atomic weapons, the American website claims. It also adds to chances of an accidental exchange of fire which could result in a full-on nuclear war on the sub-continent.

As Pakistan and India look for the membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), both have implemented vigorous checks for the safety and security of their existing arsenals.

The ultimate authority over nuclear weapons in both countries rests with civilian leaders. Pakistan, for its part, has established a state-of-the-art system for the safety of its nuclear weapons. There is a National Command Authority (NCA), headed by the prime minister in Islamabad, which must authorise the decision to use nuclear weapons.

However, Pakistan and India keep their nuclear systems de-mated, which means that the nuclear warheads that power missiles are kept in different locations. Vox further reported that India also keeps its ‘trigger or detonator far from the fissile core’. At sea, in contrast, these measures are not implementable.

The website revealed that warheads and missiles have already been assembled and stored in the same place at sea, and individual submarine captains have ‘significant freedom to decide whether to launch their nukes’.

“The new danger for both countries is that the problem of command and control over the submarines becomes very tenuous,” Pervez Hoodbhoy, a nuclear physicist and frequent visiting scholar at Princeton University, told Vox.

“With land-based weapons, the warhead is separated from the delivery system. You can’t do that with warheads on a submarine. When it leaves the port, it is already armed.”

“Either you do not give the arming code to the captain … or you give it to him before he leaves the port and he can, of his own accord, launch a nuclear missile,” he stated.

Traditionally, the weakest link in the chain of nuclear command at sea has been the problems associated with communicating with submarines.

Normal radio communication is not possible with a submerged sub, and to communicate with central command, these machines use very low frequency (VLF) and extremely low frequency (ELF) radio transmissions. Voice messages are not possible at these frequencies, so only coded messages and text messages are put through. These dispatches are also one-way, and submarines cannot reply or ask questions of the central command.

“Essentially the submarine is on its own,” Hoodbhoy said to the news website, adding that “it can’t communicate back” unless it sticks an antenna above the water surface and compromises its location.

There have also been concerns that if a first strike by any nation destroys land-based communications networks of the other, nuclear-armed submarines of the country will essentially operate on their own.

Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is managed by an elite agency within the military called the Strategic Plans Division. The American website notes that the SPD projects an image of calm professionalism.

In Islamabad, Vox reporters also met Director SPD Arms Control Brig Gen Zahir Kazmi who told them that the country “is very much alive” to the dangers of managing nuclear weapons at sea. “We are confident but not complacent,” he was quoted as saying.

Kazmi recognised the responsibility of safeguarding the weapons in the face of a challenging domestic security environment but bristled at any suggestion from Americans that Pakistan’s military might not be up to the task of protecting its most important assets.

“Managing nuclear safety and security is not a white man’s burden only,” he said. “Pakistan is managing its responsibilities quite well. There is a deliberate tendency to forget that Pakistan’s record is as good, if not better, than that of the US.”

The involvement of the United States in the affairs of the Indian Ocean has been met with fierce criticism. Publicly promoting the facade of neutrality, the Americans have in secret signed commercial agreements with India that allow New Delhi some benefits afforded only by signatories to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Vox outlined.

Pakistan is also moving towards ‘full spectrum deterrence’, which represents a significant shift from the doctrine of ‘minimum credible deterrence’ it previously followed. The development of low-yield tactical nuclear weapons is the clearest example of this, Vox noted.

Military officials cannot be court-martialed over non-disclosure of assets: SC

ISLAMABAD: The top court upheld on Tuesday a Lahore High Court (LHC) decision outlining that there could not be a court martial of a military official over non-disclosure of financial assets.

During the hearing of a review petition against Colonel Munir, indicted in 1999 for non-disclosure of assets, Additional Attorney General Sajid Ilyas said army officials were expected to remain transparent regarding their assets, adding that the concealment of which amounted to dishonesty.

A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court headed by CJP Mian Saqib Nisar and comprising Justice Ejazul Ahsan and Justice Umar Ata Bandial, observed that there is no mandatory provision for military officials to disclose their assets.

Justice Nisar noted that even in misrepresentation of assets, a military official would not qualify for a court martial instead the matter would fall under the jurisdiction of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Meanwhile, Justice Ejaz remarked that statements given to an unauthorised institution would not qualify as misconduct.

A decade ago, Col. Munir was court-martialed for non-disclosure of assets. However, the LHC has set aside the decision, reinstating him. The high court’ verdict was challenged in the apex court, which had also dismissed the petition.

During the hearing, AAGP submitted that there is an obligation for a military official that he should be truthful and honest in his conduct. The bench however observed that military court has no jurisdiction to remove any official on the basis of non disclosure of assets.

Now the official will get all pensionary benefits in view of the LHC order.

Maryam Nawaz is going through hell and has come out with flying colours in this crisis. So it's like a diamond being polished. Whereas Billawal and the children have had lazy and comfortable lives. Maryam has really been battle hardened in this crisis. She is ready to lead now.

When the going is tough, the tough get going ( Maryam ) . When the going is easy, there is no need to get going and be content in taking it easy ( Bilawal !)

PS: Zardari Jr. has a "learning" problem . Schooled in Dubai and Bartania in English ; not exposed to the rough and ready Paki political environment . Had to learn the local lingo ( Urdu and Sindhi) from scratch . Not so, with the Pakjabi Ayesha ( Maryam ) . Raised in luxury in Jati Umra , but schooled in Pakjabi and Urdu . Connect easily with the local Abduls (political level onlee please. I am married  !) and Ayesha in the local lingo . And taking care of "Dad" - politically speaking  in the winter of his political life. So, there is no comparison here ! Maryam is way ahead of the "duffer" Bilawal ! No wonder that AAZ had to make a political comeback to save the "PPP Party" for the sake of the Bhutto Brand Name

And India rubs it in !!!

Indian Government Welcomes US' Move Designating Hafiz Saeed's MML As A Terrorist Outfit. Read The Statement Here :D
The Indian government on Tuesday formally welcomed the US' Treasury and State departments' crackdown on 26/11 mastermind and Lashkar-e-Toiba-founder Hafiz Saeed's Milli Muslim League (MML).
Following the Milli Muslim League and seven of its officials being designated as global terrorists, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has said the following:
"India welcomes the action taken by the US for designating the Milli Muslim League as an alias of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a Pakistan based terrorist group and its functionaries who are acting on behalf of LeT. It vindicates India’s position that Pakistan has not taken effective action against terrorist groups and individuals. It is also cognizance of the fact that terrorist individuals and entities are allowed to change names and continue to operate freely from territory under Pakistan’s control. The designation is a rejection of the attempts being made in Pakistan to mainstream terrorist individuals and entities; and highlights Pakistan’s failure to fulfil its international obligation to dismantle terrorist sanctuaries, and disrupt terror financing." US State Dept in the "pocket of India"
Earlier, hours after the US cracked down on the politico-terror outfit, Republic TV had accessed photos of Saifullah Khalid (the chief of the MML) with Lashkar-founder Maulana Ameer Hamza and JuD-founder Abdul Rehman Makki -- brother-in-law of Hafiz Saeed, thereby exposing the link between the LeT, JuD and MML.
As a result of the US Treasury Department's crackdown, "all property and interests in property of these persons subject to U.S. jurisdiction are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them."

The aliases have been added to LeT’s designations as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) under Section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, and as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) under Executive Order 13224. ………………

US State Department Media Note of April 02, 2018:

Amendments to the Terrorist Designation of Lashkar e-Tayyiba

X Posted from the Pakistani Role In Global Terrorism thread.

For good order, the full text of the response of our Ministry of External Affairs welcoming the US designating the Milli Muslim League (MML), a vehicle designed by the Punjabi Uniformed Jihadis of the Military Dominated Deep State of the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan and fully supported by the Judicial Jihadi’s of the Islamic Republic’s Court system to mainstream UN designated Mohammammden Terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Tayibba; as an alias for the L-e-T:

Official Spokesperson's response to media queries on the designation of Milli Muslim League (MML) and 7 of its functionaries as global terrorists by the US

April 03, 2018

In response to media queries on the designation of Milli Muslim League (MML) and 7 of its functionaries as global terrorists by the US on April 2, the MEA Spokesperson said that:

"India welcomes the action taken by the US for designating the Milli Muslim League as an alias of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), a Pakistan based terrorist group and its functionaries who are acting on behalf of LeT. It vindicates India’s position that Pakistan has not taken effective action against terrorist groups and individuals. It is also cognizance of the fact that terrorist individuals and entities are allowed to change names and continue to operate freely from territory under Pakistan’s control. The designation is a rejection of the attempts being made in Pakistan to mainstream terrorist individuals and entities; and highlights Pakistan’s failure to fulfil its international obligation to dismantle terrorist sanctuaries, and disrupt terror financing."

Retired Uniformed Jihadi and National Coordinator of the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s oxymoronic National Counter Terrorism Authority (Nacta), Lt. Cdr Ihsan Ghani (Retd), on the US designation of Milli Muslim League (MML) as an offshoot of UN designated Mohammadden Terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Tayibba (L-e-T).

Seems the Uniformed Jihadi’s of the Punjabi Military Dominated Islamic Republic of Pakistan still hope and believe that they can protect Mohammadden Terrorist organisations created, nurtured and patronised by the Uniformed Jihadi’s by conning the Crusader Kaafir Dhimmi’s of the US and other Non Mohammadden Kaafir Dhimmi’s into believing that mainstreaming of Terrorist outfits targeting India is the way forward.
In response to a question about Jamaat-ud-Dawa's political offshoot Milli Muslim League (MML), which the United States recently designated as a terrorist organisation, he {Lt. Cdr. Ihsan Ghani (Retd)} said: "There exist two opinions with regard to such organisations.

"One is that these organisations should be brought into the [national] mainstream, other one is that these are terrorist organisations and if they came into politics, they would intimidate the voters and candidates would not get a chance to freely participate in elections," he {Lt. Cdr. Ihsan Ghani (Retd)} said.

Ghani said that "now we have to very carefully tread this; there are international laws, UN regulations; we have to keep them in view.

"If we understand that it is in our favour to mainstream these organisations, then we should apprise these [world] powers of it, convince them, and tell them this is in our favour and that would harm us," the top official said.

In tweets, a senior Dubai cop praises Indians, bashes Pakistanis
A senior Dubai police official has in a series of tweets praised Indians and lambasted Pakistanis, saying the former are "disciplined" while the community of the latter is rife with "disruption, crime, and smuggling", reported UAEviral.com.
Dhahi Khalfan, Lieutenant General and Head of General Security in Dubai, posted these tweets after Dubai authorities arrested a gang of Pakistanis for smuggling drugs. The Pakistani press said he's known to make controversial statements. Perhaps because of that, he has a whopping 2.66 million followers.
"I invite our citizens to not employ Pakistanis...It is now a national duty to stop hiring Pakistanis" tweeted the Dubai official.

Arresting Khadim Hussain Rizvi proving to be 'difficult', says Punjab govt spokesman

The spokesman for Punjab government, Malik Ahmed Khan, said on Wednesday that arresting Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi and other Tehreek-i-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA) leaders is proving to be difficult for the provincial authorities.

The TLP chief and TLYRA leaders were declared proclaimed offenders by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Speaking to DawnNewsTV regarding the ongoing TLYRA protest at Lahore's Data Darbar, Khan said Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah is in constant contact with the protesters and is trying to convince them to abandon the sit-in. He said the government wants the protest to conclude through dialogue.

Yesterday, Rizvi had threatened to hold nationwide protests if the government fails to fulfill the terms agreed in the controversial army-brokered agreement during the Faizabad sit-in last year.

But "the demands made in the Faizabad agreement cannot be fulfilled as the Islamabad High Court has already declared the agreement null and void," Khan told DawnNewsTV.

The contentious Faizabad agreement had led to the resignation of the then law minister Zahid Hamid in return for the TLYRA promising they would issue no fatwa against him.

Leaders at the protest announced on Tuesday that if the conditions stated in the Faizabad agreement — which had become a cause of much controversy for carrying signatures of an army general as a mediator — are not met, they will announce their future course of action via a press conference at 4pm on Wednesday (today).

"There are some elements present at the sit-in who can create a violent situation if the government uses police action [against them]. We want to avoid a Faizabad-like situation at Data Darbar," Khan said, explaining why the government is erring on the side of caution while dealing with the protest.

The protests at the capital's Faizabad Interchange had begun last year after a change to the Khatm-i-Nabuwwat oath via the Elections Act 2017 came to the fore. Despite the government terming it a clerical mistake and immediately moving to bring the document back to its original form, the opposition and TLYRA demanded action against those involved.

Violent protests then spread across the country after the federal government used force against those camping at Faizabad. The protests were eventually called off when the government accepted most of their major demands under an army-brokered 11-point agreement.

Among other demands of the protesters were for the Raja Zafarul Haq report — containing details of the investigation into the clerical error — to be made public, the release of all arrested protesters, formation of committee to suggest action against those who used force against protesters and full implementation of an earlier agreement between Punjab government and TLYRA.

Following the signing of the agreement, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of the Islamabad High Court had questioned its legal standing, saying that "none of the terms could be legally justified".

"How can cases filed under the Terrorism Act be dismissed?" he had asked during a hearing at the IHC regarding the sit-in at the Faizabad Interchange.

Article from UK Newspaper Financial Times titled “Air travel in Pakistan is a journey to the 1950s : Flying in the country is a pleasure compared with India, but there are downsides”.

Surely an advantage of being a leading global exporter of Mohammadden Terrorists would have the payoff of needing shorter security queues at Airports?
Air travel in Pakistan is a journey to the 1950s
Flying in the country is a pleasure compared with India, but there are downsides

KIRAN STACEY

A few minutes after I take my seat at gate 15 of the domestic terminal in Lahore airport — and only about 20 minutes since I entered the building — a man comes over with a menu in his hand.

“Tea, coffee, sir?” he asks. “Perhaps a cold drink?”

On this occasion I decline, but in the past I have accepted, and been grateful to receive my tea in a china cup and saucer, to be paid for “in your own time, sir”.

Flying in Pakistan is unlike anywhere else I have been — and the polar opposite to flying in India, where I live. Departing from any of the three major Pakistani cities is the closest a modern traveller is likely to get to experiencing what flying was like in the 1950s.

Checking in is effortless and there are no queues at security. At Islamabad airport, you do not even have to go to your gate: you can sit in the café until your flight is called and then leave via a downstairs door that takes you straight on to the tarmac and a waiting minibus.

Just hours earlier, I had suffered the regular indignity of catching a flight from Delhi airport. It took 20 minutes of disorganised queueing to check in, and another 30 to get through security. Getting on the aeroplane, as usual, reminded me of warfare at the Sino-Indian border, where troops are unarmed and so fight by jostling each other using only their torsos.

But while flying in Pakistan is a joy for those used to Indian airports, it is not necessarily a good sign for the country’s development in comparison with its larger neighbour.

The reason the experience is so civilised becomes clear to me when on board the small propeller aeroplane, where my colleague realises he knows the person next to him — a prominent environmental activist and the wife of a senior diplomat. Unlike in India, catching a flight in Pakistan remains the preserve of a small and wealthy elite.

In 2016-17, 7.2m tickets were sold for domestic flights in Pakistan — equivalent to about 3 per cent of the population. In India, that figure was 108m, equivalent to 8 per cent of the population. According to Air Asia India, the low-cost carrier which is part of the group owned by the Malaysian entrepreneur Tony Fernandes, 26 per cent of their customers are first-time flyers.

Indians have better access to air travel in part because they are richer, but also because, for them, air travel is much cheaper. A highly competitive domestic aviation market means that a passenger looking to fly from Delhi to Mumbai on July 1 this year, for example, can pay as little as $35. In Pakistan, someone wanting to do the roughly equivalent trip from Islamabad to Karachi will probably have to fly with the government-controlled Pakistan International Airlines and pay at least $100 to do so.

While both countries allowed private airlines to set up from the early 1990s, companies have had a more difficult time in Pakistan.

“Since 2003, Indian low-cost carriers have genuinely democratised airline travel,” says Kapil Kaul, chief executive of the Centre for Asia-Pacific Aviation, an industry consultancy.

“With close to 70 per cent market share, these companies have structurally changed aviation in India. Pakistan, on the other hand, is yet to realise the massive social and economic potential of bringing air travel to the masses.”

The rapid expansion in the number of Indians able to fly has caused difficulties for both the companies and the travellers themselves. Aviation executives say first-time flyers tend to treat air travel as they do bus travel, where timings are uncertain and passengers who do not board quickly can be left behind. Air Asia India is even making a video to try to educate new customers on the basics of air travel, such as how to clear security and when to turn up at the terminal.

As I stand to gather my belongings from the overhead bin and wait in an orderly queue to disembark at Islamabad, I am grateful not to have a fellow passenger pushing past me to get to the door more quickly.

But I also know that while this is good news for me and the 60 or so other people who have been able to afford this flight, it means that millions of others have been denied the opportunity.

139 Pakistani persons and entities including Dawood Ibrahim in UNSC consolidated terror list - PTI
The UN Security Council's updated list of terrorists and militant groups has 139 entries from Pakistan alone, including outfits like Mumbai attacks mastermind Hafeez Saeed's Lashkar-e-Taiba, according to a media report.

The list, headed by Osama bin Laden's heir apparent Ayman al-Zawahiri, identifies all those individuals who have lived in Pakistan, operated from there or have been associated with groups that used Pakistani territory for carrying out their operations, Dawn News reported.

LeT's Hafiz Saeed is listed as a person also wanted by Interpol for his involvement in terrorist activities.

The list also includes Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar, an Indian national who, according to the UN Security Council, has held several Pakistani passports issued in Rawalpindi and Karachi, the report said.

The UN claims that he owns a palatial bungalow in the hilly area of Noorabad, Karachi, it added.

Kaskar, wanted in India as the mastermind of the Mumbai bomb blasts in 1993 and accused of crimes such as match-fixing and extortion, accrued a vast property portfolio across the Midlands and south-east in the UK as well as India, the UAE, Spain, Morocco, Turkey, Cyprus and Australia Haji Mohammed Yahya Mujahid, LeT's media contact, and Hafiz Saeed's deputies, Abdul Salaam and Zafar Iqbal, are also listed.

Like Hafiz Saeed, they are all wanted by the Interpol.

The LeT is listed with its various aliases, such as al-Mansoorian, Paasban-i-Kashmir, Paasban-i-Ahle Hadith, Jamaatud Dawa and Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation, the report said.

The UN data claims that first person on the list Ayman al-Zawahiri is still hiding somewhere in the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area, the report said.

Several of his lieutenants are also on the list who, the UN believes, are hiding with him.

The second person on the list is another internationally known terrorist, Ramzi Mohammad bin al-Sheibah, who is identified as a Yemeni national, arrested in Karachi and handed over to the US authorities.

More than a dozen suspected terrorists are listed in the same category, arrested in Pakistan and handed over to the US authorities.

Some of them had Pakistani passport, issued by various Pakistani missions in the Middle East and renewed in Pakistan.

The report, however, did not give the total number of entries in the updated UNSC list.

The terrorist entities that were allegedly based in Pakistan, worked from there or had links to Pakistani individuals, include Jaish-e-Mohammed, Afghan Support Committee, Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, Al Akhtar Trust International, Harkatul Jihad Islami, Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Jamaatul Ahrar and Khatiba Imam Al-Bukhari.

Some of them are listed as based in the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area, according to the report.

More Evidence that DJinnah Was An Avid Lover Of Ham And Pork Sandwiches

Did Quaid-e-Azam eat pork? Evidence from the sources.
It is universally known that Jinnah was an avid drinker. But did you know that Jinnah also was an avid consumer of pork?

"Mrs. Jinnah drove up to the Town Hall in Jinnah's luxurious limousine, stepped out with a tiffin basket, and coming up the steps ... said..."J"!-that is how she called him-"guess what I have brought for you for lunch." Jinnah answered :"How should I know?" and she replied:"I have brought you some lovely ham sandwiches."Jinnah, startled exclaimed:"My God! What have you done? Do you want me to lose my election? Do you realise I am standing from a Muslim separate electorate seat, and if my voters were to learn that I am going to eat ham sandwiches for lunch, do you think I have a ghost of a chance of being elected?"

From M.C Changla's autobiography, "Roses in December"

It's quite easy to see that Mrs. Jinnah had a habit of preparing ham sandwiches for her husband Jinnah.

PS: Mrs Jinnah - not a "born Muslim" - had no "religious qualms" in eating "anything" !

Ganja & Co. Boxed In A Corner By The Deep State

Embattled Sharifs demand live broadcast of graft case hearings
ISLAMABAD – Daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, demanded to live broadcast, the corruption proceedings under way at the accountability court in Islamabad. The former first daughter took to Twitter and cited ‘so the nation can know what the truth is’ as a reason for the demand. The encirclement and demonization of the Ganja and his daughter- by the Deep State - is almost complete. The father -daughter duo is in no position to "demand anything". Press censorship ( and the stoppage of "oxygen" to Ganja ) is an integral plan of the Establishment !
As many as three corruption references had been filed against the Sharif family, on the directives of the top court which pertain to the Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Hill Metal Establishment, offshore companies including Flagship Investment Ltd, and Avenfield properties of London.
Hussian and Hassan Nawaz are UK-based and have been absconding since the proceedings began last year, however, the former premier has been showing up regularly before the court of judge Muhammad Bashir. No one in his right mind believes that Ganja is innocent and not "corrupt to the core" as is universally believed ! But he is singularly picked up and made an example of - by the Deep State, just because he happened to not do their bidding 100%

Chinese "Taking Over Pakistan" In The Name Of CPEC

Chinese engineers rough up policemen in Kabirwala (VIDEO)
MULTAN – A brawl erupted between Chinese engineers and police over security issue in an area near Khanewal on Wednesday.Media reports suggest the Kabirwala police stopped the foreigners to go out without proper security, which infuriated the Chinese who attacked a police mobile and cut off electricity supply to the police camp.A footage making rounds on social media shows the Chinese getting into a fight with the cops. Frustration with the Pakjabis ? Language and communication "difficulties" ?
A local TV channel reported that the engineers have written a letter to Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, in which they claimed that their lives were in danger due to the presence of security officials.
The letter claimed that Chinese engineers, working on a motorway project in Khanewal, attempted to leave camp for work purposes but were stopped and assaulted by police. Security of the "honored Chini guests" is the job of the Pakjabi Police . What will happen if they are goatnapped in the nite
They have requested PM Abbasi to dismiss police officials from the camp. This is not the first time that Chinese officials have been indulged in a fight with police officials. In 2006, a similar brawl was witnessed at a police camp near Shujabad. Expect more of this to happen, as the spread and "smell" of Chini Citizens becomes more pervasive in Paki society :P

Pressure rises on exchange rate

KARACHI: Pressure on exchange rate mounted on Tuesday as the dollar closed between Rs116.60 and Rs116.80 in various cities around the country in the open market.

Banking sources said the State Bank held a meeting with the exchange companies on Monday to discuss the exchange rate but the currency dealers refused to discuss any details of the meeting.

It was not clear why the central bank has kept the meeting secret and asked the currency dealers not to reveal the discussions. When contacted, the State Bank’s chief spokesman Abid Qamar said there was nothing new for the media in the meeting.

However, it is believed that devaluation of the local currency was the focus of discussions as about 9.5 per cent depreciation of the rupee within a span of four months has started dollarisation in the country.

“People are buying dollars as it is the best investment so far,” said Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan Secretary General Zafar Paracha.

Fears of further devaluation are growing among banks and the currency markets particularly in the wake of falling foreign exchange reserves and increasing current account deficit.

Currency dealers, who did not wish to be named, told Dawn that they fear the interim government, which would have no political risks, could go for further devaluation.

The SBP data shows foreign exchange reserves held by the central bank are down 40pc to $11.8 billion as of March 22 (2.6 months of import cover) since hitting a peak of $19.5bn in Oct 2016. The sum of US$ 11.8 Billion is due to Double Accounting as the SBP has BOROWED US$ 5.8 Billion from the Commercial Banks and as such the amount with SBP is US$ 6.000 Billion!.

Currency dealers in the banks said demand for the greenback is running on the higher side and the interbank market was tightly kept under control by the State Bank. The US dollar traded at Rs115.60. However, they said the increasing imports kept pressure for more dollars in the market.

The trade deficit in the first 8 months of 2017-18 jumped 21pc to $24.27bn. This was significantly higher than the trade deficit of $20bn in the same period of last year.

The government says it is trying to improve the situation through export incentives and devaluation of the local currency. The country’s overall exports increased by 11.6pc to $14.85bn during the July-February period of this fiscal year. HA HA HA! DESPITE THE EXPORTS INCREASING BY 11.6% THE IMPORTS HAVE HAVE GONE BY A MUCH HIGHER FIGURE AS THE DEFICIT JUMPED BY 21% TO US$ 24.27 BILLION! DAR HAS GONE BUT DAR ECONOMICS ARE STILL VERY MUCH IN PLACE!

Paki "Economist" Sounds Alarm That Pretty Soon The Rupee Is Going To Be Worthless Against The Mighty US Dollar :D

Dollarization of Pakistan economy is against Pakistan's national interests: PEW
4 Apr, 2018
The Pakistan Economy Watch (PEW) ( Shameless Plagiarism of Massa's "famous" research institute !) on Wednesday said the continued decline in exchange rate has shattered the confidence of masses in the rupee which has triggered dollarization of the economy. Dollarisation of the economy is against the national interests as it damages monetary sovereignty, hurt the economy and leave central bank almost useless, it said. Pakistan to go the way of Argentina, Zimbabwe or Venezuela ( who at least has oil !) where dollar was /is SUPREME !
PEW President Murtaza Mughal said that the government and the central bank should take concrete steps to de-dollarize the economy before it leaves rupee weightless. Chinis and the Saudis not helping with a loan to stabilize the Rupee
He added that frequent devaluation has pushed masses to convert their savings and profit into the dollar that cannot be countered through encouraging statements of secret meetings with the currency dealers. (wtf does this mean !)
The continued fall in the value of rupee and lack of reforms as well as inaction can result in widespread rejection of the rupee, in the long run, he warned. "the long run" in this case, is going to be hopefully "very short"
The government can’t stop dollarisation by issuing orders, it can only be controlled by introducing long-awaited reforms and using positive economic measures like better regulations, enabling and transparent policies etc. - Agencies . Mass exodus of Paki elites" to foreign and greener pastures would be one sign of a "sinking ship"

Chinese engineers working on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Khanewal got into a physical altercation with local police on Wednesday, Express News reported.

The incident took place in Kabirwala tehsil of Khanewal. Chinese engineers working on the M4 motorway got into an argument with the police which escalated into a physical fight.

The Chinese engineers lashed out at the security officers and the project engineer Danny threw a chair at the squad incharge. At this point, another Chinese citizen climbed on top of a police mobile. In a further provocation, the Chinese citizens cut off electricity supply to the police camp.
