LAHORE – Two women received a beating by shopkeepers in Batapur area of Punjab capital area after being accused of stealing from a garments store.A video making rounds on social media shows the shopkeepers hitting the women with a large cane and then slapping and kicking them.
This Batapur is very close to border. It is only 10 Km from Attari border as you cross the canal. This city was under Indian army in 1965 war. One indian truck driver (hired by Indian army to transport ammunition ) went far ahead of Indian army front lines and ended up at Batapur police station. The Baki police saw Indian truck and ran away thinking that the Indian army has already overran the town. This truck was destroyed by Baki air force as it took Indian army some time to reach Batapur. TATA then gave a brand new truck to this person for his bravery.

China welcomes India-US 2+2 talks; declines to comment on security pact

BEIJING: A wary China on Friday welcomed the first 2+2 Dialogue between India and the US but declined to comment on the landmark security pact under which Indian military will have access to critical and encrypted American defence technologies.

The 'Communications, Compatibility, Security Agreement (COMCASA)' was signed on Thursday after the first 2+2 talks external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj and defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman had with US secretary of State Michael Pompeo and defence secretary James Mattis.

The COMCASA will allow India to receive high-end military communications equipment from the US and will also help get real-time encrypted information from the US.

Asked about China's reaction on the India-US talks andCOMCASA agreement, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said, "As to the 2+2 consultations between India and US we have seen the report...We are happy to see the normal bilateral relations between the two sides and we also hope that in this process they will do more to promote regional peace and stability."

She, however, did not respond to the question on the COMCASA.

On the India-US call for maritime freedom in the Indo-Pacific region Hua said, "About the security navigation in the sea, we uphold the legal rights entitled in the international law and we also hope parties can do real things to ensure freedom of navigation."

Referring to maritime cooperation during the first edition of the 2+2 talks, India and the US expressed commitment to work together and in concert with other partners toward advancing a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific region.

The two sides also discussed cross-border terrorism, India's bid for membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group, the contentious issue, and ways to deepen cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region

Imran "Disappoints" Jemima !

In a rare such act, Jemima Goldsmith responds negatively over the decision of PM Imran Khan
7 Sep, 2018
LONDON - In a rare such move, Jemima Goldsmith , the former wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan has responded over one of the decision of the PM Imran Khan.
She has termed withdrawal of Atif Mian as member of Economic Advisory Council(EAC) as ‘Indefensible and very disappointing.”In a tweet after Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry confirmed the government has withdrawn nomination of Atif Mian as member of Economic Advisory Council(EAC), Jemima said, “New Pak govt asks renowned and Prof of economics to stand down because of his faith.
Many "Jemima watchers" have noted that the earlier "chemistry" between Immy and his first ex has somehow changed, ever since his election as PM. The first indication was when he disinvited his two sons from his oath taking ceremony . IMO, Peerni influence up , Jemima influence down !
The founder of Pakistan, “Quaid-I-Azam” appointed an Ahmadi as his Foreign Minister.”

Immy To Address Nation. Most Likely Will Be "Begging" To Oversees Pakis To "Invest" In Pakiland

What is PM Imran Khan going to say in his address to the Nation?
Sept 7, 2018
*ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the nation tonight and it would be mainly addressed to the Overseas Pakistanis.*
*He will address overseas Pakistanis today (Friday) and would deliver a special message to them.* *Most likely he would be addressing overseas Pakistanis over the issue of investment bonds and help in economic overhaul. *
Bet the "stolen $ 200 Billion" will also get a mention !
*The state-run Pakistan Television (PTV) would broadcast Prime Minister Imran Khan 's message for overseas Pakistanis.*
The address would be telecast at 7:00 pm today. It would be the third such address since Khan emerged victorious in July 25 election.
Many reports have indicated that Pakistan is under such a severe cash crunch that the Army is appropriating budget allocations meant for Provinces to go on a weapons buying spree !
According to private television channels, the TV has recorded the message at the PM Secretariat.

1/ For the sake of the stability of the Government of Pakistan, I have resigned from the Economic Advisory Council, as the Government was facing a lot of adverse pressure regarding my appointment from the Mullahs (Muslim clerics) and their supporters.
2/ Nevertheless, I will always be ready to serve Pakistan as it is the country in which I was raised and which I love a great deal. Serving my country is an inherent part of my faith and will always be my heartfelt desire.
3/ Moving forward, I now hope and pray that the Economic Advisory Council is able to fulfill its mandate in the very best way so that the Pakistani people and nation can prosper and flourish.
4/ My prayers will always be with Pakistan and I will always be ready to help it in any way that is required.

"Unofficial Advice" can always be given . Immy Govt can "deny" same , if the Mullahs act up

As Expected "Kaptaan" Begs For Money From Oversees Pakis

Prime Minister Imran Khan calls on overseas Pakistanis to donate to dams fund
Sept 7, 2018
Dawn
Prime Minister Imran Khan spoke to the nation in a brief televised address on Friday evening to appeal for donations to the dams fund set up by the Supreme Court.
"There is no question that we are faced with several significant problems," the prime minister said as he began the address. "Our debt today stands at Rs30,000 billion but the biggest problem we currently face is the water crisis."When Pakistan was made, every Pakistani had 5600 cubic metres of water. Today that stands at only 1000 cubic metres.""We have storage capacity of only 30 days for water when the safe period for water storage is 120 days. India has a capacity of 90 days. This is why making the dam for us is so important."
Thank Allah, that he DID NOT repeat the broken record of "India is stealing Pakistan's water" !
Warning of the rapid depletion in Pakistan's water resources, the premier said the country would face drought-like conditions by 2025 if immediate steps were not taken.
"I want to commend Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar [for starting the dams fund], but this was not his job," he said. "This was the job of civilian leaders who knew this was going to swell into a crisis but did nothing to thwart it."
Indirect dig at the Ganja Govt !
"I want to take over the fund-raising and want overseas Pakistanis to contribute like they used to do for the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital, he said.
The prime minister asked all overseas Pakistanis to make as many donations as they can to the dams fund in dollars to plug the country's depleting foreign exchange reserves as well as provide funding to start building dams, which he said he would personally oversee."I will safeguard your donations [against misuse]," he promised."If every overseas Pakistani donates $1,000, we will have enough to build the dams ourselves," the prime minister said.
The Kaptaan is under the impression that oversees Pakis are rolling in wealth , which is definitely not the case !
"This fund will only be used for building dams. I know not every overseas Pakistani will be able to give $1,000, especially the ones working in the Middle East. To them, I would say that donate as much as you can. But the overseas Pakistanis in Europe and the United States, I want them to send at least $1,000 or even more if they can," he said.
Remains to be seen if the Kaptaan's marketing power works or not !
The prime minister cited the example of Egypt, which he said had launched a similar drive to build dams using its own resources."They were not getting any external loans; no one will give us any loans from outside either," he said. "We already have so many loans that we are finding hard to repay, so no one is going to loan us anymore. We alone will have to build this dam, and we can. We just have to make up our minds."
"I promise to you that I will safeguard your money," PM Khan added.
Has he "audited" the money collected by the CJP in the name of "dam building"

Imran Khan shows his cowardice by dropping Princeton prof Atif Mian over Ahmedia identity
The Print - Gul Bukhari
Sept 7, 2018
Princeton professor Atif R. Mian has proved to be too hot for Pakistan’s Imran Khan government to handle. Days after Mian was appointed a member of Pakistan’s Economic Advisory Council, he has been asked to step down after what has been an unseemly controversy over his religion.
The move by Imran Khan has proved sceptics right and has indicated that his Naya Pakistan is cowardly when confronted with religious bigotry.
The storm was brewing in Pakistan over the appointment of Mian, who belongs to the Ahmedia sect, which was declared a non-Muslim minority by the Pakistani Parliament in 1974.Mian is a renowned professor, writer and economist. But Pakistan chose to debate his religion instead for days – not his experience or qualification, nor his ideas on how to fix the economy and Pakistan’s myriad human development problems.
Mian teaches economics, public policy and finance at the Princeton University. He has previously taught at the University of California, Berkeley and the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business. He is also the author of the critically acclaimed book House of Debt.
He is also a critic of how the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has been implemented in Pakistan by the previous government, which relies on foreign loans to undertake heavy infrastructure projects – Mian remains suspicious of what he calls opacity of the contracts between Pakistan and China. If a person’s appointment were to be brought under such a sharp spotlight, it ought to be predicated on their qualification and policy recommendations. But his religion is what got talked about. This is not just because of the Pakistani predilection for trivia and/or its penchant for manipulation of religion for political causes. This is, instead, a case of the poisoned chalice for the current government.Imran had supported extremist cleric Khadim Rizvi when he held hostage the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi in November 2017 with his sit-in protest against perceived changes to the finality of prophethood law of Pakistan, which declares Ahmadis non-Muslims.
Interestingly, Imran's Peerni is also an Islamist with the Barelvi strain . Wonder, what are her views with regard to the Ahmedi sect. Is she , close, ideologically speaking, with Khadim Rizvi
Rizvi was also successful in getting the government to completely surrender to the unreasonable demands, including the head of one minister, with the Pakistani military acting as an arbiter between Rizvi and the federal government.Imran had not only celebrated the victory, but also proceeded to attend its Khatm-e-Nabuat conferences (finality of prophethood) and continued a bigoted and dishonest campaign against the Nawaz Sharif government at that time.
As soon as news emerged that Mian is an Ahmadi, all hell broke loose. Much of the opposition came from Imran Khan’s PTI party supporters. But some opposition senators also signed a calling attention notice on the appointment. On Pakistani social media, the attack came from two fronts. The first attack came from the religious bigots who jump onto bandwagons to flay Ahmedis all the time and cannot see them in any office of public importance or authority. This class seeks vengeful persecution of Ahmedis.
The second category is what I would call ‘fake bigots’, who are merely seeking to score a political point against Imran’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for its putrid campaign in the election. This lot wants to drive home the hypocrisy of the government, but its invective is pouring out as apparent religious hatred.
Public pressure mounted on cleric Rizvi to condemn Mian’s appointment. This resulted in a veiled video statement by him Tuesday against the appointment. This has attracted further instigation to hold Islamabad hostage again with another disruptive dharna, just as he did it during the previous Sharif regime.
Surprisingly, and admirably, the current federal minister of information Fawad Chaudhry stoutly defended Mian’s appointment Tuesday saying, “Should we put bans on public role of religious minorities; are we going to throw them out of Pakistan? The entire world is speculating that Atif Mian will receive a Nobel Prize in five years, we have appointed him to the EAC and not to the Council of Islamic Ideology… and Pakistan belongs as much to its minorities as it does to the majority”.
This was in response to the vicious campaign against Mian on social media, and the entirely illegal and unconstitutional demands to throw him out of the committee because of his faith.
Former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal (PML-N) said in a tweet that only “talent and competency” should matter and “merit should not be mixed with religion”.
In the end, Imran Khan did not have the spunk that even someone like Fawad Chaudhry did.
Before the election, it was mentioned that the mainstreaming of the Khadim Rizvi and his Party was to keep Imran Khan and PTI on its toes , in case he veered too much from the Islamist Agenda of the Deep State . This prediction has come true now !

Will avenge blood flowing on the border, says Pak army chief Gen Bajwa
General Bajwa’s comments came while addressing the Defence Day ceremony in Rawalpindi on Thursday to mark the 53rd anniversary of the 1965 war with India
In sharp contrast to the reconciliatory tone of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan towards India, Army chief General Qamar Jawed Bajwa has vowed to avenge blood of the country’s soldiers being shed on the border.
He also paid respect to “brothers and sisters in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir who’re writing the history of resistance”.

World Economists Rally Around Atif Mian . Criticize Pakistan Over His Removal From Imran's Economic Advisory Council

nt’l economists shocked over Atif Mian’s removal by Pakistani govt
Sept 7, 2018
Local and foreign economists shared their disbelief and shock over the Pakistani government’s decision to remove Atif R Mian from the Economic Advisory Council (EAC).A number of famed academics belonging to some of the most prestigious universities across the world were disappointed at the PM Imran Khan-led cabinet for asking Mian to step down from the economic committee.
Economics Professor at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business Austan Goolsbee responded to the incident. “They drove @AtifRMian off their economic advisory council?! Are they nuts?” he asked on Twitter.
"An honourable action. The Pakistani government’s disinvite of Atif R Mian not only deprives it of top talent, it also reinforces religious bigotry,” said Dani Rodrik, an Economist at the Harvard Kennedy School.
Professor Edward Miguel of the University of California, Berkeley, said, “Atif is one of the world’s most talented economic thinkers – pushing him off the council is a major loss for the people of Pakistan.”
Luis Garicano, a Professor at the IE Business School, also shared his opinion, “Reading the reasons of the resignation (as Ahmedi, not the right kind of Muslim), it is even worse news for Pakistan than I thought.”
Professor Francesco Trebbi, a faculty member at the University of British Columbia, called Mian “honest and generous human being,” arguing that it is “a major loss for Pakistan”.
Meanwhile, University of California San Diego Professor Paul Neihaus, who was disappointed at another EAC member Asim Ijaz’s resignation, expressed “love and respect for Asim”.
There are unconfirmed rumours that Atif Mian and Asim Ijaz's replacement are graduates from The University Of Jeddah And The University Of Qum ( Faculty Of Islamic Economics And Islamic Banking) !

Something is brewing in PA. There was major resentment of junior officers for hiding casualties during kargil. They are hiding the losses now as well. Is trouble brewing within PA for not recognizing the losses?

Paki Journo Offers Some Advice From Exile- Via Al Jazeera !

Dear Pakistanis, this Defence Day, please stop celebrating hate
Sept 6, 2018
Al- Jazeera
Every year Pakistan celebrates Defence Day on September 6. On this day, the army reminds the Pakistani public that it defeated the Indian forces in the 1965 war and highlights the sacrifices it made in defending Pakistan's borders from "a surprise attack from India".
Ceremonial military parades are held across the country where senior military officials make fiery speeches and soldiers march alongside armoured vehicles mounted with the latest missile technologies while fighter jets perform an airshow in the skies above.
The media wing of the army also asks national media outlets to run promotional videos that pay tribute to the armed forces. Religious and extremist groups, known to have friendly ties to the military, also come out in the streets, holding rallies glorifying Pakistan's army.
Although Pakistan had far less military and economic resources compared with India, the armed forces of Pakistan, filled with the spirit of jihad, forced an enemy many times bigger to face a humiliating defeat - a Pakistani textbook reads. However, there is little truth to these claims; Pakistan did not win this war. It agreed to a ceasefire with India after it realised it may lose. Also, it is absolutely false that India started this war.
Setting the record straight !
The evidence of this first came to light when, in the early 2000s, General Mehmood Ahmed published a book bursting the myths around the 1965 war. The general was tasked by the army to investigate the 1965 war, and he chose to go public with his findings, which highlighted how the Pakistan Army launched a secret military operation into Indian-administered Kashmir in 1965, and India responded in turn.
This is the same Mahmud who sent on a mission to OBL by Mush , advised him "fight" the Amreekis contrary to Mush's message !
According to Ahmed's account, the Pakistani military was eventually overwhelmed by Indian troops and forced to withdraw, thus failing to achieve the objective of taking over Kashmir. The book goes on to explain in detail that only a select few generals knew about the secret military operation, that the Pakistan army miscalculated the Indian response and that this version of events is kept away from the public.
This was of course, the days, when Govt "fed" propaganda to newspapers and TV, and there was no internet
After the book came out, it mysteriously disappeared from bookstores. Today it is almost impossible to find a copy of it in Pakistan.
But why does the Pakistani army insist so vehemently on propagating a false historical narrative and ensuring that the truth does not get out? It is quite simple: having a perpetual enemy next door helps the military stay relevant and justify its enormous budget that burdens the country's economy. It also shields the military from any criticism it may face for regularly intervening in politics, having multibillion-dollar businesses, and allegedly supporting Kashmiri and Afghan fighter groups. It poses as the saviour of the country and elevates itself above the state and the need for accountability.
Last year, when I pointed out the Pakistani military's false glorification of the 1965 war on social media, I was told by a military official not to "disrupt" their media campaign. Then in January this year, armed men tried to kidnap me in Islamabad. Luckily, I managed to escape and was forced to relocate to France.Today, as Pakistanis once again celebrate Defence Day, we should ask ourselves whether we should continue believing in engineered narratives.
This "guy" is going all out and burning his bridges . Not good for his extended family in Pakiland
Preaching hate, celebrating a false victory and promoting narrow-mindedness will only further exacerbate one of the core issues faced by Pakistan today: growing extremism. The first step towards reversing this trend should be accepting the truth about the 1965 war. We must remember that incitement and conflict will not bring progress and development to the country, only peace will.
Imran Khan has embraced the Fauji narrative on this one. Remember his "uncle" was part of the Fauj

The Self Appointed Field Marshal ( Ayub ) Kept The Air Force And Others In The Dark About The 1965 War Says Air Marshall Nur Khan

Nur Khan reminisces ’65 war
September 06, 2005
Dawn
ISLAMABAD, Sept 5: Air Marshal (retired) Nur Khan, the man who led the airforce achieve complete superiority over the three times bigger Indian airforce on the very first day of the 1965 war, ( This was the myth !) had all but resigned the post the very day that he took command of Pakistan Air Force on July 23, 1965.
“Rumours about an impending operation were rife but the army had not shared the plans with other forces,” Air Marshal Nur Khan said. Sharing his memoirs with Dawn on the 40th anniversary of 1965 war, Air Marshal Khan said that he was the most disturbed man on the day, instead of feeling proud.
Air Marshal (retired) Asghar Khan while handing over the command to Nur Khan had not briefed him about any impending war because he was not aware of it himself. So, in order to double check, Nur Khan called on the then Commander-in-Chief, General Musa Khan.
Under his searching questions Gen Musa wilted and with a sheepish smile admitted that something was afoot. Nur Khan’s immediate reaction was that this would mean war. But, Gen Musa said you need not to worry as according to him Indians would not retaliate. Then he directed a still highly skeptical Nur Khan to Lt-Gen Akhtar Hasan Malik, GOC Kashmir, the man in-charge of “Operation Gibraltar” for further details. The long and short of his discussion with Gen Malik was, “don’t worry, because the plan to send in some 800,000 infiltrators inside the occupied territory to throw out the Indian troops with the help of the local population”, was so designed that the Indians would not be able retaliate and therefore the airforce need not get into war-time mode.
The 1965 disastrous war , as well the Kargil adventure was based on the false premise that the Indians will not retaliate !
A still incredulous Nur Khan was shocked when on further inquiry he found that except for a small coterie of top generals, very few in the armed forces knew about “Operation Gibraltar”. He asked himself how good, intelligent and professional people like Musa and Malik could be so naive, so irresponsible.
And Governor of West Pakistan, Malik Amir Mohammad Khan of Kalabagh did not know what was afoot and had gone to Murree for vacations. And he was Ayub Khan's man !
When on the second day of war President Gen Ayub wanted to know how we were faring, Musa informed him that the Army had run out of even ammunition. That was the extent of preparation in the Army. And the information had shocked Gen Ayub so much that it could have triggered his heart ailment, which overtook him a couple of years later.
Air Marshal Khan demanded that a truth commission formed to find out why we failed in all our military adventures. It is not punishment of the failed leadership that should be the aim of the commission but sifting of facts from fiction and laying bare the follies and foibles of the irresponsible leaders in matters with grave implications for the nation. It should also point out the irregularities committed in training and promotions in the defence forces in the past so that it is not repeated in future.
Mr Khan believes that our soldiers when called upon have fought with their lives but because of bad leadership their supreme sacrifices went waste. And after every war that we began we ended up taking dictation from the enemy — at Tashkant, at Simla and lastly at Washington.
He said at present Pakistan is engaged in another war, this time in Waziristan. This war can also end up in a fiasco and politically disastrous for the federation if it is fought with the same nonchalance and unprofessionally as we did the last three wars.
He has been proved right. Now the Pashtuns are also alienated like the Balochis and the Sindhis !
He, therefore, called for an immediate change of command at the GHQ insisting that President Gen Pervez Musharraf should appoint a full-time Chief of Army Staff and restore full democracy in the country. He suggested appointment of an independent chief election commissioner in consultation with all the political parties.“Look at India. There a religious party comes in power and nobody cries foul and it goes out of power and nobody alleges rigging. We can also do this,” he added.

CJP’s dams donation drive fails to woo overseas Pakistanis
The Express Tribune
Sept 7, 2018
ISLAMABAD: Out of Rs1.93 billion, donated to the Chief Justice’s Fund for the construction of dams, Rs1.91 billion was donated domestically. According to data available till September 6, a total Rs1.93 billion has been donated so far. Interestingly, only Rs20 million has been donated by overseas Pakistanis while the remaining Rs1.91 billion was raised locally.
Too early to foretell the failure of this appeal . Appeal was made just yesterday . How many oversees Pakis have $1,000 to spare . That is the amount The Kaptaan is appealing ( ie begging !) for the oversees Abdul to remit ! Time will tell !!

Ganja - The Foodie - Orders Hamburgers From McDonalds For Lunch !

WATCH: Nawaz Sharif orders McDonalds family meal during NAB court hearing
Express Tribune
Sept 6, 2018
It is only natural for someone behind bars to get tired of the staple food given to them with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif being no exception as he ordered McDonald’s burgers and soft drinks during the lunch break of the al-Azizia and Hill Metal references hearing at the accountability court on Thursday.
Does his (jail ) Doctor know this ? Is he taking his meds as directed ? Why is Maryam not stepping in and insist on healthy food like salad and soup ?
According to a report by a private news channel, the deposed premier asked for fast food, after which Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Tanveer ordered his domestic help to bring the food for his leader.
Hopefully not on Government tab
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court judge had allowed the food to be brought inside the premises of the judicial complex.
The report added that Nawaz was seen in a good mood after gobbling up the burgers and had a conversation with the media representatives present on the spot.
If he falls "sick" as before, he himself is to be blamed for this

Another Oversees Paki Says NO To Imran's Economic Advisory Council :D

More embarrassment for govt as second economist resigns from EAC over Atif Mian's exclusion
London-based economist Dr Imran Rasul has become the second member of government's Economic Advisory Council (EAC) to resign following the exclusion of US-based academic Dr Atif R. Mian, who was asked to step down from the body due to backlash over his Ahmadiyya faith.
Image
Rasul sporting the standard Qadiani goatee - a giveaway of his Ahmedi faith
"With a heavy heart, I have resigned from the EAC this morning," Dr Rasul, a professor of economics at University College, London, said in a tweet.
The economist said he "profoundly disagree[s]" with the circumstances in which Mian was asked to resign from the council.
"Basing decisions on religious affiliation goes against my principles, or the values I am trying to teach my children."
In a series of tweets, Dr Rasul spoke in favour of Mian's appointment to the advisory council, saying "if there was one academic on the EAC that Pakistan needs, it was [Atif Mian]". He added that the formation of the EAC and the panel's composition offered a great opportunity to devise a better economic policy.
Singing the praises of his fellow Ahmedia
The first meeting of the recently reconstituted 18-member EAC was presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday. With the resignation of Dr Rasul, all three international economists of Pakistani origin on the council are no longer part of the advisory body.
Out of the remaining 15 members, seven belong to the government and eight are from the private sector.
Within three days of its rhetoric about the rights of minorities, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government bowed down to pressure from religious groups and asked renowned economist Atif Mian to step down from the EAC on Friday, only to lose another council member from the private sector hours later over the controversial move.
The Kaptaan is AkA U Turn Imran !
Earlier on Tuesday, the government spokesman had strongly defended Dr Mian's appointment to the EAC on the grounds that Pakistan belongs to majority Muslims as well as non-Muslim minorities.“What is wrong with the appointment of a professional economist as a member of the EAC?” said information minister Fawad Chaudhry, amidst a vicious online campaign targeting Dr Mian for his Ahmadiyya faith. “He is a member of the Economic Advisory Council and not the Council of Islamic Ideology,” he remarked.
Now he and his "Leader" have to eat their words
Hours after the announcement, another EAC member, Dr Asim Ijaz Khwaja, professor of International Finance and Development at the Harvard Kennedy School, announced his decision to resign from the advisory council.Dr Khwaja tweeted: “Have resigned from EAC. Painful, deeply sad decision. Grateful for chance to aid analytical reasoning but not when such values [are] compromised. Personally as a Muslim I can’t justify this. May Allah forgive/guide me&us all. Ever ready to help. Pakistan Paindabad.”
Leave aside that, even Imran's own "family" ( Jemima ) has expressed "disappointment" at this U Turn made by The Kaptaan

Family Bonding Time At Last ! Is The Peerni Aware Of This ! Will Sulaiman And Kasim Be Meeting Their Step Mom !

PM Khan's sons Sulaiman Isa, Qasim reach Islamabad
Sept 8, 2018
KARACHI/ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan's sons reached Islamabad on Saturday morning.
VVIP Protocol or no protocol
PM Khan's two sons, Sulaiman Isa Khan and Qasim Khan, have come from London — where they reside with their mother, the premier's former wife Jemima Goldsmith — and will stay in Pakistan for four days.According to sources, Sulaiman and Qasim will stay at Imran's Bani Gala residence.
It is their first visit after their father took oath as the country's premier. The two boys did not attend their father's oath-taking ceremony as the prime minister of Pakistan over his direction.
Is Peerni hanging around Bani Gala these days. If so, will she reveal herself sans burkha to her step sons
On August 18, before the cricketer-turned-politician assumed office, Goldsmith had said: "The boys are very sad not to be there but IK was adamant that they should not come."
In response to criticism that the two junior Khans were vacationing in Scotland instead of attending the oath-taking ceremony, the premier's ex-spouse clarified: "They wanted to be there. Their father asked them not to come." "May the sons be proud of their father's work as the prime minister of a country that needs lots of dedication and work", she had added.
Hope the Paki Media Hounds "respect" the Kaptaan's privacy and his "desire" to have some quality time off with his real family

Paki Man Goes Bersek Over "Family Honour" In Imran Khan's Naya Pakistan !

Hafizabad man murders daughter, son-in-law and grandsons over 'honour': police
DAWN
Sept 8, 2018
A man from a village in Punjab's Hafizabad district turned himself in on Saturday after he allegedly killed his daughter, her husband and their two children in what police suspect is a case of 'honour killing'.According to police, the suspect was angry at his daughter Sana for marrying a man named Firdous of her free will four years ago. However, after some time he claimed to have reconciled with his daughter
Police said the man invited his daughter, son-in-law and grandsons — aged two and three — to his house and once they arrived, he allegedly attacked them with a sharp-edged weapon.
Obviously, something must have snapped in his mind !
The bodies of the victims have been shifted to the tehsil headquarters hospital for post-mortem examination and a case is being registered against the suspected killer in the Jalalpur Bhattian police station. The anti-terrorism section will also be added in the first information report, a police official told DawnNewsTV.
Has Human Rights "Minister" Mazari taken note of this epidemic disease that is prevalent in Pakiland ?
Scores of people in Pakistan, an overwhelming majority of whom are women, are still being murdered by relatives for bringing 'shame' on their family, more than a year since new laws came into force aimed at stemming the menace of 'honour killings'.
By passing a law, and hoping that the "disease" can be cured by that is wishful thinking ! A law was passed in Pakistan giving transgenders equal rights . Has this "law" stopped other Pakis from killing or assaulting them ?

Human Rights Commission Of Pakistan ( HRCP) Has No Business interfering In The Internal Affairs Of Pakiland

HRCP expresses concern over Atif Mian’s EAC withdrawal

Sept 8, 2018
The News International
Lahore: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has expressed serious concern over the government’s decision to withdraw its nomination of Dr Atif Mian for the Economic Advisory Council (EAC).In a statement issued today, HRCP has said: "There is overwhelming evidence to show that Dr Mian was eminently qualified to serve on the EAC and that his contribution to economic policymaking in Pakistan would have been immensely valuable. "
The government’s decision to withdraw this nomination on the grounds that it might prove divisive – merely because he happens to belong to the Ahmadiyya community – contravenes Article 27(1) of the Constitution of Pakistan, which clearly states that ‘no citizen otherwise qualified for appointment in the service of Pakistan shall be discriminated against in respect of any such appointment on the ground only of race, religion, caste, sex, residence or place of birth.’
Having a law on the books and implementing the law are two different things !
It said defending human rights is necessarily a question of moral courage and HRCP strongly urges the government to avoid any sort of precedent that allows a person’s faith to trump all other criteria for public service.
Pakistan has "started" granting rights to transgenders on the books . Has this stopped the daily assault on these besieged community ? Food for thought

British Think Tank Report Now Concludes That Pakistan Is Now Ready To Take The Russians As A Sleeping Partner

Pak Army has reversed Great Game: report
The News International - Murtaza Ali Shah
Sept 8, 2018
LONDON: A leading British security think tank has assessed that for the first time in 200 years, Pakistan Army has abandoned the British raj policy of confronting Russia for control over Central Asia – and Pakistan’s army now sees the Russians as their strategic partners.
In a detailed analysis published by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), it has been argued that Pakistan’s army, emboldened by Operations Zarb-e-Azb and Raddul Fasaad, has taken concrete steps of reforms and relationship which demonstrate that Pakistan doesn’t see Russia as a threat anymore and closer defence relationship between the former hostile powers is visible.
Consistent, IMO, of Pakistan's permanent policy of making itself available for sale to the highest bidder , instead of standing on its own two feet and pursuing its own permanent interest , instead of "seeking friends" to counter India !
The RUSI report noted that the current Pakistani military leadership under Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa is set to reverse the Great Game and thereby end almost 200 years of “looking over their shoulder” and fearing the Russian threat.
The report said that whilst all the talk during the Cold War was of a Russian threat to Pakistan and of it reaching the warm waters of the Arabian Sea, the Russians are now on board with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
It added: “Moscow’s approach to participating in the development of Gwadar Port in Pakistan, seen as Pakistan’s economic future, is considered a game-changer in Pakistan. The Chinese have welcomed this participation and see it as a balancer against India’s insecurities about the project.”
First RUSI is a Paki infested "Think Tank" camouflaging as a "British Think Tank" . Secondly, the real litmus test for a pro -Pakistan tilt by the Russians will come when Putin visits Pakiland . The invitation is still outstanding after 5-6 years . This is just a trial balloon being floated here !!!

The RUSI is dated and a rooted in the colonial era kind of an organization that is full of itself. It forgets conveniently that the brit policy of yore was firmly based on cheating, bribery, threats, outright murder and deceit with a great deal of deception thrown in.

They miss the days of their gunboat diplomacy where many matters were speedily resolved to the crown's satisfaction merely by the arrival of an armed vessel flying the union jack.

That said, the pakis are too piddly a state to be part of any "great" game. They were/are a dirt poor bunch of jehadi turds who make like thugs and serve the highest bidder, while robbing them blind.

They were prepped first by the brits who knew that they had lost India forever and later by the amerikis and used by both as cannon fodder against the russkies. If these two had not supported, tolerated and supplied the pakis with money and weapons in copious quantities, most of which the pakis stole via the crore commanders, they would have remained the zeros that they actually are.

It is their national failing that they have delusions of grandeur and the paki generals are legends in their own minds, despite the thrashing that they have received from India in all the wars.

Russia will turn away from India, if we continue to ignore them and negate their weapons market here. It would be our great misfortune if such a thing actually happens. We are being wooed by the amerikis because, among other things, we have access to the russian weapon systems and are capable enough to maintain them fairly decently.

If we surrender this advantage, we are truly done for and we will start to feel the heat of the fatal ameriki bear hug and that done, regime change will follow to suit their needs and that scenario is not at all unimaginable.

Major Embarrassment For Kaptaan And His PTI Party . Major TYPO In Dam Appeal

PTI provides incorrect account number for Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dam Fund
ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf committed another blunder on Friday by providing a wrong number for the account opened to collect donations for Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dam Fund.
As Prime Minister Imran Khan tried to enlist the support of countrymen and overseas Pakistanis for the said fund, the party uploaded an image with the account and IBAN (International Bank Account Number) of the dam fund, however, the latter was not correct. The original IBAN for ‘Supreme Court Of Pakistan Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dam Fund’ is PK06SBPP0035932999990014.
Has their System crashed yet
However, PTI missed the ‘p’ followed by SBP in an image posted on the official verified account of chairman, Imran Khan; the image is still available on the facebook page.
Pakis do not use spell check or do due diligence . And that is why the Chinis have taken them for a ride on the CPEC ( second hand Chini maal, usurious interest rates, CPEC marriages, fishing out Arabian Sea etc etc )
“I want to take over the fund-raising and want overseas Pakistanis to contribute like they used to do for the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital, he said.
