It will indeed be a good thing if they pay their "loans" back to China. Then their Forex will again go to zero, they will owe nothing to the Chinese and have to start repaying the IMF loan which no doubt will come at a decent interest rate (possibly lower than the undocumented rate promised to the Chinese). This is a good thing for us because it places on hold, if only temporarily, any land grabs by the Chinese. Meanwhile since the funds intended for development have been siphoned off, no development will happen and misery will continue to build up ready to blow up with a slight push.
The end game should be that Pak is defanged - nukes taken away and/or pakfauj severely restricted. Reality is that the world won't let Pak break up just yet. Loss of H&D by the military will nevertheless be a good start to the eventual decline of T'stan.

Blood is always thicker than waterFederal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari is in Austria’s capital Vienna to attend her daughter’s postgraduate ceremony, as Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir shared some of the pictures with her mother.

Will she be "welcomed back" in Pakiland ? Or will she seek "political shelter" in Vienna now that "ISI has got her number" . Time will tell“It’s official with distinction,” Imran tweeted while sharing pictures with her mother – the minister. “Look who came for my graduation,” she wrote and posted that she completed LLM (the Master of Laws). Some days ago, the minister was furious with Imaan over a tweet she had made criticising the army and calling them embarrassing.

"Celebrity watching" is a "big business"After tweeting a private screenshot of a conversation with her mother Shireen Mazari, Imaan disappeared from Twitter leaving a lot of people confused. Some people believe she had deactivated her account on her own, there were others who believed her account had been reported.

NEW DELHI: As the government marks the second anniversary of the surgical strikes on terror launch pads across the Line of Control, Home Minister Rajnath Singh's comment fueled speculation about another army operation.
"Our neighbouring country Pakistan keeps fostering unrest. It doesn't refrain from its nefarious activities. People often raise how they mistreat our Border Security Force jawans. You might have seen something... something has happened, I won't say what. It has happened, it has gone alright. You can believe us, it has been alright - just two-three days ago. Some people know. And you will see ahead, what happens," the Home Minister said cryptically at an event in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar today, but did not elaborate.

Hundreds of vehicle service stations go unchecked as water crisis looms
PT
Sept 28, 2018
LAHORE: Amid the looming ghost of water scarcity, hundreds of vehicle service stations in the provincial capital are going unchecked as no authorities concerned possess complete records of these stations or data that shows the quantity of water used by them, Pakistan Today has learnt.
These are probably bullet proof SUVs owned by jernails and kernails of the Paki Fauj ! No mai-ka-laal dare question the owners - and drivers - on the excessive wastage of water in this way , when millions and millions of poor Pakis are thirsty for the previous liquidSeveral government, as well as non-government agencies, have warned that the country might run dry in the coming future if concrete steps are not taken to prevent wastage of water; however, authorities concerned, at the same time, seem to be least bothered in this regard.
As per the details, there are hundreds of service stations operating in Lahore but the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) only has records of less than 150 stations. Moreover, so far no authority has maintained any data that shows how much water is being used to wash a vehicle while dozens are being cleaned at different service stations on a daily basis.

During a court hearing pertaining to wastage of water in Lahore at service stations, an expert on September 18 informed the Lahore High Court (LHC) that a car service station used an average of 200 litres for washing a small vehicle and 300 litres for a big one. The court was also informed that automatic carwash stations consumed around 80 litres per car, adding that water recycling systems ( is there foreign exchange available for the import of this item !) should be installed at car service stations to save clean water.
Water table depleting faster than predicted !No record was produced by any authority which showed how many automatic carwash service stations had been set up in the city though. According to WASA officials, the authority is abstracting water from the ground with the ration of over 70 gallons per person per day through around 600 tube wells that are installed in different areas of the provincial capital.
Expect to see more of these "water stories" in Paki media“There are hundreds of service stations running in LDA controlled areas which have not been approved by WASA. The authority being the prime regulator was responsible to monitor water abstraction of these stations,” he said and maintained that the service stations running out of LDA jurisdiction areas were the responsibility of town and district governments that too had failed to keep a check on them.“This illegal abstraction shows that the authorities are responsible for the looming water scarcity crisis,” he added. Siddique also said that now that a water policy had been formed, there was a dire need to establish an independent authority through legislation to monitor water usage.

As you are aware the US$ 60 Billion from the Chinese plus the Interest has to be calculated at T'stan Rupee 97 or so per US Dollar.
IOW Terroristan gets the US Dollars at Rs. 145 and repays its Chinese Dept at Rs 97 or so to the US Dollar. In this case Pakistani Debt to the Chinese would go up by about 50%. If the Tstan Rupee is 135 to the US Dollar then the Chinese Dept goes up by about 40%.
T'stan will be in turmoil leading to Destabilization and the T'stani Aam abduls with their Burqa Bilkis and 30-40 Children will cross-over to India as neither Iran nor Afghanistan even Ilon Blothel will not accept them so India will be labored with 150 to 200 Million Terroristanis!"

Past Pakistani support for Taliban pursuit of national interest: FM Qureshi
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has termed the nation’s past support for Afghan Taliban as pursuit of national interest.
The foreign minister made the remarks while talking to Al-Jazeera in an interview broadcast on Thursday. Questioned on the aforementioned account, Qureshi said previous Pakistani governments were “helping their country”.
Daily diary: Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly
“They were helping overcome a situation which was not of their own creation. Who were these people? Who supported them? Who trained them? We forget history and at times overlook that friends change. Weren’t they invited to the United States? Weren’t they entertained in the White House? Friends change. Circumstances change. We were just defending and protecting ourselves.”
On fraying ties with the United States, FM Qureshi said the nation recognised the importance of having cordial ties with the former. “We want the US to be friends with Pakistan. We recognise that the US is an important global power and they will continue to be a military, technological and economic power in the foreseeable future.”
Qureshi leaves for UNGA session in New York
Referring to changing power dynamics in the region, Qureshi said while the Trump administration looked at cultivating new relationships, Pakistan had enduring ties with valuable allies.
“We do have friends who have been consistent and very valuable. China is one of them. They recognise how important Pakistan is. We are not alone. Everyone has options.”
Trump takes anti-Iran campaign to UN Security Council
On Pakistan-India relations, FM Qureshi cited Prime Minister Imran Khan’s dialogue offer in his maiden speech. We did what we thought made sense, he said. “Two neighbours with outstanding issues, atomic powers. How do you fix things? War is no option. There is no military solution. The only solution is a dialogue.”
Qureshi said eradicating corruption, enhancing human capital and solving the nation’s external debt woes were among the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)-led government’s chief priorities.
Cheers

Is this the new norm in Pakiland ? Not sure if civil servants are getting their salary cheques due to the precarious financial situation. It is one thing "overstaying" your "tourist visa" in Kuwait and becoming illegal there ! It is another matter entirely when you a important mehman from a "friendly Ummah nation" land in Isloo and your wallet gets stolen by the govt's employeeISLAMABAD: A BS-20 officer on Friday stole the wallet and baggage of an official of the Kuwaiti delegation that arrived in the country to attend the two-day Pakistan-Kuwait Joint Ministerial Commission meeting. According to the details, head of the Kuwaiti delegation, after the meeting, complained that he had lost his baggage and wallet, following which the CCTV footage of the room was checked. The footage clearly showed Investment and Facilitation Joint Secretary Zarar Haider Khan stealing the luggage of the Kuwaiti official.

If he is arrested, what will then happen to his immediate family plus extended family members who may well total more than 20-30 members , who depend on his sole income for survivalTaking notice of the incident, Economics Affairs Division (EAD) Secretary Ghazanfer Gilani instructed the officers concerned to register an FIR against the 13th common DMG officer in the PS Secretariat Islamabad and he was later arrested. A legal action against him is reportedly underway.

Pakistaniyat at its best“All officers of the Ministry of Industries and Economics Affairs Division, as well as other participants, were shocked when the head of the Kuwaiti mission complained about the incident,” said an official of the Finance Ministry.

To be fair to Zarar Haider Khan ( the "alleged" thief !) , this is not a manifestation of Imran's Naya Pakistan. It could well have happened in Ganja's purana Pakistan as well.“This is a very unfortunate development that has brought a bad name to the country as well as the officers working here,” he added.

Another officer claimed that Zarar Haider had a good reputation among his colleagues. “No one could have expected such a thing from him,” he said. Taqqiya![]()
Has this been brought to the attention of the Kaptaan yet ? Hope that the Kuwaitis do not overreact and break of diplomatic relations with Pakiland . They should be justified in not sending any Kuwait delegation to Pakiland in the future. Indian media should pick this this "juicy" news item after verifying that it is NOT FAKE NEWSThe spokesperson of the finance ministry refused to comment on the issue while EAD secretary was unavailable.

Qureshi should draw solace with the fact that he was successfully able to get a meeting with POTUS , where wide ranging issues pertaining to Pakistan - USA ties were discussed to the satisfaction of "both parties"“Sushma Swaraj left in the middle of the SAARC meeting,” said the foreign minister, adding that he called for regional cooperation but how could such an object be achieved ‘when India is acting as an impediment to this’.

The thing that really please me is that now retaliation even on a scale is atuk-matuk. Referring to the killing of Narendra Singh on the International Border in Samba district, the minister said, “Kuchh hua hai, main bataunga nahin. Theek thaak hua hai. Sources in the BSF confirmed that Pakistan suffered significant casualties in the heavy retaliatory shelling.
The BSF jawan, part of a patrol party that had gone to cut wild grass along the IB fence in Ramgarh sector on September 18, was killed when he and his colleagues came under unprovoked firing by the Pakistanis. His body was dragged into the Pakistani side and when it was recovered a day later, it had three bullet wounds in the chest and the throat was slit.
The incident prompted an alert across the International Border and the LoC. Reacting to the killing of the BSF jawan, Army chief Bipin Rawat had said the time had come for another surgical strike and paying back Pakistan in its own coin.
The minister, who was in Muzaffarnagar to unveil a statue of Bhagat Singh, told a small gathering, “I had asked our BSF jawans not to fire the first bullet as Pakistan is our neighbour. However, if firing starts from across the border, I told jawans to hit back hard and not count the number of bullets fired.”
The disclosure came on the second anniversary of the surgical strike carried out on terror launch pads across the border to avenge the strike on the Army’s Uri camp.
Recalling the 2016 surgical strikes, Singh said, “I remember the day the prime minister, showing his strong will power, gave the go-ahead to the Army and our soldiers entered their territory and hit the enemy hard. Only one of our commandos sustained injuries.”
Talking about border tension with China, Singh said, “I was told by ITBP jawans that India-China face-off these days is restricted to pushes and shoves without the use of weapons. This is the same country that once attacked us. Today, they only push and shove and this shows that they have realised that India is no more a weak country.”

‘Sanitation policy being devised to fulfill PM’s vision of clean Pakistan’
ARY News

ISLAMABAd: Adviser to PM on climate change Malik Amin Aslam Khan on Friday said that the federal government is devising a comprehensive ‘National Sanitation Policy’ to materialize PM Imran’s vision of Clean Pakistan, ( Remember the Saaf Paani scheme set up by Shahbaaz) ARY News reported. Chairing a meeting on the sanitation at ministry of climate change, the PM’s adviser said that the national sanitation policy will entail creation of open defecation free environment, building of toilets on community help basis, provision of appropriate drainage and sewerage system especially to the villages through local governments in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals commitment.
The PM’s adviser stressed that aquifer gets contaminated when we don’t have proper sewerage and drainage system installed, creating severe sanitation and health issues for the people.“We have to discourage open defecation which leads to diarrhea and stunting and recent studies shown alarming figures in this regard. About 8% of the world’s 165 million stunted children live in just 14 countries including Pakistan,” said the PM’s adviser.
Was Imran "shamed" by this photu , where the "CPEC Chinis" are busy "cleaning up " Karachi's exclusive Defense Housing Authority (DHA) area or the recent pic of the German Amb recent photu of an Isloo Garbage Dump near the German EmbassyAmin Aslam Khan said that provision of clean environment will be only possible, when we will have a strong legislation, system of “rewards and punishments” in place and we will also include this aspect in our policy recommendations.“Community based collective behavior change will be our preferred approach. Our focus would be on creation of complete open defecation free villages, rather than construction of individual toilets. This entails triggering the entire village in to changing their behavior”, he concluded.

Something big has happened, says Rajnath Singh on surgical strike anniversary eve
Probably to discuss the Indian strike. Cry murder and run to the world for sympathy or quietly absorb the punch and save H&D or hit back with intensity.

Something is definitely going down! Compare the two pictures in two different situations.

If BSF has already confirmed significant casualties on Paki side, how come the BSF DG is claiming that they plan to strike? Something is not adding up. They are keeping details deliberately murky. Next few days will be interesting to watch out for. Will strike against Pakistan at oppurtune time to avenge killing of our jawan: BSF DG

Even the posture of Dummy! He is slouched, looks concerned with legs wide apart; not quite the TFTA image that he so carefully cultivated over the decades; all gone. He seems to have realized 'something' suddenly now which he didn't while being out of power.anupmisra wrote:Something is definitely going down! Compare the two pictures in two different situations.
