I have not followed any of the discussions here, just responding to these two posts:esommuk wrote:Sir that could be even sonic boom. If I remember clearly from the circulating clips the villagers reported loud explosive noise not flashes of light or burning smell or fire. If the bombing was really sub-optimal and contained to a few square feet of space inside a room then it really brings back the question how do we quantify (and justify) losses in economic terms for the enemy after spending so much on delivering a small non-military payload. Is there any fiscal prudence in it.Singha wrote: villagers are all clear on one thing, they heard explosions.
so unless the ones that fell outside exploded and ones that holed the roof all did not explode....
Maybe he got so much spice that he is not able to show his face. Note that it's almost 10 days since the spicing took place.anishns wrote:Firstpost has released an audio clip, purportedly of Azhar Mahmood claiming that he is alive and Mehfooz!
Hmm! now since all these goat shaggers carry video camera's around to film beheadings and what not!
Why not put up a video as proof of life....me thinks this is fake!
Maybe UBCN can comment!
Of course - their entire cadre got spiced at BalakotAditya_V wrote:https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/ind ... 295122.cms

Is there any doubt about what a terror attack will have as a response. ?Iyersan wrote:Blast at Jammu General Bus stand. Lets see what the chowkidar does
This is not the first grenade thrown near the railway station this year, the bus stand/railway station are sitting targets for militants. Apart from a handful of poorly trained local cops, it's a minefield. For reference, Jammu city is approx 50kms from the IB.Prem Kumar wrote:Injury count is now 28!
This could very easily happen in a Thanjavur bus stand also.
Considering the population density of India, the sheer # of brainwashed Muslims, the presence of Pakistan & the wide porous borders, I am speechless at what Doval has achieved. 5 years and no terror attack in the rest of India.
Mr Rao, given that thermobaric weapons have higher blast effect than regular explosive, would you not expect it to show greater signs/evidence of impact ?NRao wrote:

3) India is one of a few nations that have thermobaric weapons. Such weapons suck the surrounding air/oxygen and occupants die of collapsed organs - mostly the lungs. They may or may not do damage to surrounding structures

It doesn't matter if he is alive. We have shown a direct inclination to take him down. He will die of ' kidney failure' sooner rather than later.
All the more reason to hit pakistan again!!!
The camp did not appear to have reinforced structures.. instead it had CGI sheds and the like, as described in official reports.prahaar wrote:Should we not consider the possibility that the structure which was attacked was not a usual brick and mortar construction? A hardened reinforced place for the JEM faculty graduates and alumni could feel safe.

Especially in a 1000 kg guided bomb ?
Also, these appeared as ordinary building , would thermobaric weapon really be best choice , given that they are not likely to be bunkers, tunnels, reinforced etc
The SPICE is in IAF inventory since 2015 and integrated on M2K and SU-30MKI if we search for that term on this forum.abhijitm wrote:question on precision bomb.
We used Israeli bombs, but don't we have DRDO made precision bomb? or is it still under trials?

Try out-turning a Camel in an F-16 or a Bandaar, and try matching the 50kmph terrain-hugging capability. They can be based right there at the edge of no-pakis-land.
Anyway as is well-demonstrated, one Missile WArning and the Pakis turn tail and flee on max A/B, conveniently illuminating the target for the Mach 4 IR AAMs. And they bail out anyway long b4 the missile hits.
This is might give the Bakis enough of a fig leaf so there is no escalationSingha wrote:all the lashkars and tanzeems are under one unified commander now. the DG ISI is probably the C-in-C of this razakar army.
rebadging and renaming will be carried out if pressure mounts from UN and USA.
