Phil Camp passes away Sep 26, 2019

Postby Kakarat » 27 Sep 2019 11:11 ... 3250906113

Vayu and the aviation community in India today lost a great photographer and friend with the untimely passing away of Phil Camp. Based in the UK, he has attended every Aero India since inception. Invited by the IAF dozens of times to cover their Squadrons...
...,he has been part of the Vayu Team for over 20+ years.
We shall miss him

Author of multiple books on IAF and a long time associate of BR it is a great loss for the Indian aviation community

Though I haven't met him in person have had multiple email conversations with him. Most of the IAF patches in my collection are from him

Om Shanti

Have heard of him quite a lot while looking at IAF pics from BRF and elsewhere. May his soul rest in peace.
