Pakistan balks at IMF demands over $6 billion loan
Islamabad: Talks between Pakistan and the IMF to restart a $6b loan programme have stalled over Prime Minister Imran Khan’s refusal to introduce unpopular measures, say senior government officials. Formal discussions to release a tranche of funding have been pushed back over concerns from Islamabad that instituting the reforms tied to the loan would provoke a backlash from the hard-hit middle class.
The sticking points between Islamabad and the IMF on resuming the programme include raising electricity tariffs, higher tax collection targets and increasing the repo rate, which was lowered to 7 percent in June from 13.25 percent earlier in the year.
Pakistan’s economy has not suffered as big of a shock from the pandemic as neighbouring India. {A little bit of ointment applied on the rakkitmards to sooth the burn} The Asian Development Bank projected that the economy would contract 0.4 percent in 2020 but would expand 2 percent next year.
Pakistan’s external debt and liabilities have grown from $95bn in 2018 to almost $113bn in 2020, with a subsequent rise in debt servicing, according to the State Bank of Pakistan in its annual report released on Wednesday.
“We are in a debt trap that is entirely of our own making. It is a risk to our national security,” said the Institute for Policy Reforms, a Lahore-based think-tank.
Pakistan is under additional pressure after Saudi Arabia demanded $1bn repayment of part of a $3billion loan and froze an oil credit facility worth more than $3 billion. Officials in Islamabad said there were concerns that Riyadh might ask for even more. That would force Pakistan to seek further loans from China.

Russians would pump diesel oil into these tunnels and set them of fire when they operated in Afghanistan.

India will need to show Pakistan who is boss unless we want to wait for the next attack.
Re: Terroristan - November 11, 2019
IIRC, this is the third instance of our discovery of tunnels which were used by terrorist to enter India.
Why do we find these tunnels only after we have had infiltrators come in?
If we had advance intelligence of those 4 Paki JEM pigs coming in India why did not we have advance information of the route these terrorists were going to take to come in?

The CBP/DHS uses GPR equipment to detect tunnels from Mexico. Is there a similar effort in India? Do they use drones with GPR sensors?
Re: Terroristan - November 11, 2019
Radars to check tunneling exist and have been deployed in a few areas in LoC. It's impossible to deploy them all over the border.
Re: Terroristan - November 11, 2019
Exactly, we can't catch all stones thrown by our neighbor, we have to hit our neighbor throwing the stones. We need the advantage in Numbers so we can escalate even in these areas to hit PA assets and men and Miltant formation sites.
we also need to start working on low cost solutions to low cost drones- detection and shooting down.

This is an epic takedown:
Re: Terroristan - November 11, 2019
The problem is not that Pakis are using tunnels to bypass AIOS(fence) at LoC. That is on expected lines. The problem is that Indians are not using their own set of tunnels to strike at Pakis in their own territory.

This is not surprising at all. Islam as practiced works this way. We have analyzed it here for decades - the H&D factor. As long as you maintain "Honor & Dignity" in public, no one cares what you do in private. So Islam has some of the most perverts and criminals in the world, but as long as they are bious in bublic and bray 5 times a day, they are good.
So Muslim men watching kinky-g@y born would be explained away as "we are red blooded mards - tough and strong and virile, we have urges we need to satisfy - You watch 10X more born... don't be Islamophobic!".

Porkis are that English speaking Indians in large numbers have spread all across the world:
-There are 73 India chairs in US Universities.
- Indians in Think-Tanks all over the world, in News Agencies and in Key positions in editorial staff in Media (France, AFP, Reuters, AP, Financial Times, Khaleej Times, National and BBC).
- This is because India has a very Big English speaking population. In India English Newspapers have print run of more then 10 million a day with Times of India having a daily run of 4 Million copies and in comparison the largest English newspaper in pakistan has a print run of just 50,000.
-Due to the vast English literate population of India there are 400 Million Indian users of Facebook, 50 Million+ Indian users of Tweeter and majority of the 1.2 billion users on Google.
-This English speaking Human Resource base of India is available for India to "shape a narrative against pakistan" and the Porkis are crying that they have no answer to this Natural default advantage that India has.

NZ vs PAK: Pakistan cricket team given ‘final warning’ after 6 test positive for coronavirus in New Zealand
Pakistan tour of New Zealand: Six Pakistani cricketers have tested positive for coronavirus and the touring side has received a final warning from New Zealand’s health authorities.
New Delhi, November 26, 2020
The Pakistan cricket team is in New Zealand for a tour starting on December 18 with a 3-match T20I series and a 2-match Test series, ending on January 7. The 34-member touring squad, excluding Fakhar Zaman, arrived in New Zealand on Tuesday, November 24. The players were accompanied by 20 officials and all 54 members were to be in a mandatory 14-day quarantine at the Hilton Hotel.
The squad's first round of coronavirus tests were completed on November 25 and, as a result, six Pakistan cricketers have tested positive for the virus. New Zealand Cricket (NZC) board, on Thursday, confirmed the news and added that 2 out of the 6 positive results was deemed "historical". Ahead of Pakistan team’s departure, all 54 members had returned negative results 4 times.
Consequently, the 6 members who have returned positive results are being sent to the quarantine division of the regulated isolation facility in Christchurch.
"While this is disappointing for the Pakistan squad, the testing outcomes and the actions taken show the Government system is working," NZC said in a statement.
"We will be having discussions with the tourists to assist them in understanding the requirements. NZC considers public health and safety to be paramount in the hosting of international teams, and is supportive of the Ministry of Health and Government position."
According to the original rules that were in place, the visiting squad was to undergo 3 coronavirus tests during the 14-day quarantine period. Had the first round of coronavirus test reports returned negative results, the whole 34-member Pakistan squad would’ve been divided into groups and each group would’ve been allowed to take outdoor training in a biosecure environment for the first 3 days after the isolation period.

We speak better English than Indians: Musharraf
https://www.hindustantimes.com/india/we ... tABEI.html
Sep 24, 2004
"We speak better English than the Indians", Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf said in Washington that the trend of outsourcing jobs to India from the US was soon going to change.
Musharraf, who came Washington on Wednesday for five hours to launch the Congressional Caucus on Pakistan, told a crowd of Pakistani Americans that his country was changing, its image was changing and the trend of outsourcing jobs to India should also change with that "because we speak better English than the Indians".
This caused a lot of laughter in the audience in which the president also joined.

UAE Visa Ban Starts To Pinch Pakistan; 3000 Jobs Lost In First Week As Indian Workers Rejoice
OPED By Haider Abbas, November 27, 2020
Even before the normalization of the UAE and Israel relations was announced on August 14, 2020, there was a rider. The deal, as it turns out, required Pakistan to accept Israel and a direct threat to it was put across through an article published in an Israeli newspaper Hareetz on August 11, 2020, titled ‘Pakistan’s Rejection of Israel Threatens Pakistani Lives’.
Pakistan did not relent, and the result was the UAE gifting Israel an embassy on Pakistan’s Independence Day. For Israel, as it gets clearer every day, Arab states are a joyride. The only stumbling block is nuclear-armed Pakistan.
The noose, therefore, had to be tightened around Pakistan, with the UAE starting by announcing a visa ban on Pakistanis on November 24, 2020, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The UAE’s response has been so harsh that Pakistan was found grappling with it, as the announcement got public through the media and the UAE did not even communicate it through official channels.
No wonder, the shocks have started to be felt across Islamabad as The Express Tribune reported on November 25, 2020 that about 3000 Pakistanis have been stripped of their job visas by the UAE.
It has come to light that since the ban had come into effect on November 18, 2020, a recruitment agency in Rawalpindi alone has lost 3,000 jobs, and guess who has been benefitted from this? India! This is a report from just one city from Pakistan and, obviously, the same can be expected from its other cities too, and very soon. Thus, it can be easily understood that for Pakistan which is already reeling under extreme economic conditions, the UAE move, which is nothing short of snatching the very bread from the mouths of Pakistani citizens, is a humongous loss for the country.
The report highlights how Pakistan has been further cornered by the UAE initiative as initially, it was reported that the suspension was only limited to tourist visas, but the authorities have now confirmed that work and employment visas have also been banned till further notice.
A letter issued by the Dubai Airport Free zone says: “As per the latest circular released by the Immigration Department Entry Permit Applications (for individuals outside the country), applications for new employment visa and new visit visa (long, short and tourist), will be suspended until further notice.”
All the 13 nations which have been debarred from entry into the UAE are Pakistan, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Yemen, and other Muslim countries, and what is common among these nations is that none of them have accepted Israel.
Turkey has an Israeli embassy, but the UAE right now is staunchly against Turkey and has aligned with Greece. It has also supplied F-16 fighters to Greece against Turkey in the Mediterranean sea, in support of France. This alliance was counterbalanced with Russia announcing its military drills with Turkey on both sides of Cyprus – the focal point of the conflict.
Pakistanis, on the other hand, have been struggling to come to terms with this unexpected move with its Foreign Office still feigning some relaxation as its statement last week had suggested that the ban was only on visit visas and believed to be linked to the second wave of Covid-19. But, an Al Jazeera on November 25, 2020, said that an “unnamed official had claimed the move was linked to security concerns”, although those security concerns were not elaborated.

Paki elite have 7 sanctuaries. Of which top 2 are most critical.
1. UAE
2. UK
3. Canada
4. Australia
5. USA
6. Saudi Arabia
7. Turkey
Additionally, their ISI run businesses have been developing Thailand as a base but it's not for their elite.
Trump plugged #5 while Imran Khans attempt at islamic leadership cost Pakis #1 and #6. #7 is fast becoming a basket case anyways. Even Australia is fast closing immigration doors for Pakis.
This only leaves UK and Canada which remain the Paki elite's gateways to the West.

Sirji, there are two group of countries. One the Gulf countries, where the unwashed mango people go to earn money. They take up the completely low end jobs that the Gulf Arabs would not do. This earning is very important to the Pak rulers as it brings in scarce foreign exchange and also works as a safety valve for the rapidly expanding population. The second group consists mainly of the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and EU nations. In these countries the Karnails and the Jernails go to retire after they have made their fortune by looting the state. The YouTube is now full of rona and dhona of the Pak media who have suddenly realized that the doors of both the groups of countries are being shut tight. They blame India and PM Modiji for all their troubles.

That analysis isn't entirely accurate.
UAE and Saudi are lucrative options for Paki elite (doctors, jernails, paki fauj who want to be mercenaries, etc). UAE is also their most preferred destination for money laundering, investment, shopping and partying by Paki elite.
UAE shutting down is a HUGE blow followed by Saudi shutting down. But Canada and UK aren't. That still gives room for their elite to escape that hellhole and foment trouble for India from there.

The leftists/Islamists/terrorists have a voice in Canada. It may not reflect official Canadian govt. policy, but is used as an irritant to retard India-Canada relations; particularly when it comes to providing refuge for terrorists in Canada, and for preventing any long term strategic partnerships. The same will happen in the US come January. Lots of nice talk, but a slow stab in the back.Cyrano wrote:Khalistanis and Islamists are running rampant in Canada where the politics are full of woke lefty people supporting Trudeau. Khalistanis are useful in playing up the emotional vulnerabilities of the Sikh diaspora in Canada. Khalistanis get funded and the deliver a vote bank. No one is really too concerned about India. It’s collateral damage. These emotional vulnerabilities are due to social class, race, language, employment opportunities. They can’t lash out against the mainstream in Canada. The doors will shut just as they have on Muslims in the US. So a surrogate will do.

Trudeau is very popular in Canada. Has the support of NDP who is headed by one Jagmeet Singh, who refuses criticize the sikh terrorists responsible for the downing of AI182. Trudeau handled sugar-virus reasonably well compared to the us of a. His support remains high especially after the $2k a month they were handing out to people like candies and will continue to do so well in 2021.Cyrano wrote:No idea, there is some opposition to Trudeau-Pseudo-Lefty cabal in Canada, like Jordan Peterson, but my knowledge of Canadian politics is quite limited.
May be any BRFites in Canada could share some insights?
Canadian universities are, imo, even more "woke" than some of ours. There is okayish amount of support for the conservatives but i don't see trudeau going anywhere anytime soon. His "blackface" was forgiven extremely quickly by the 'liberals' and unless he has massive brainfarts like parading around in rainbow costumes, like he did in India, he is very likely to win the next elections too.
