Kanniyakumari would be interesting for sure. Ably represented by Pon Radhakrishnan (BJP) on 2014-19, he had lost to H. Vasanthakumar of Congress in '19 on the back of the Christian votebank's polarization. Since Vasanthakumar passed away last year, elections need to be held - I am hoping Ponnar makes a comeback. He had worked very hard when he was the MP, and was Gadkari's minister of state for Ports and Highways, and tried very hard to bring a transshipment port to Colachel/Enayam, which was scuttled by the some local vested interests. In fact, the railway doubling and electrification of the Madurai-Nagercoil-Trivandrum route was aimed at providing landside infra for this port, and this project is still going on a rapid pace. Hopefully, it gets revived post elections.
As an aside, Colachel was the site of the only successful naval battle fought by an Indian unit against European colonists (Travancore vs the Dutch). That battle put paid to Dutch ambitions in India once and for all. The unit that fought this battle still survives to this day in the Army, and is now known as 9 Madras. It is the senior most unit in the entire Army and is fondly called the "Nair pattalam", pattalam meaning battalion in local parlance. Used less fondly perhaps, is the nickname "The Terrors"
